Nunca desilude!
As sardinhas assadas estavam divinais. Frescas, bem assadas, com sabor a mar.
O marisco sempre no ponto, e de toda a confiança.
O prego ( dizem alguns ser o melhor prego da cidade) suculento, bem tempetado, divino.
O serviço profissional, competente. Na ausência do Luís, dono, e a alma da Penalva, esteve bem, o atendimento.
O único senão, as sobremesas.
Poucas e triviais.
Doces à parte, é sempre um prazer ir lá à Penalva, cheia de Graça.

Un lieu traditionnel dans le quartier de Graca qui sert une cuisine portugaise de qualité (fruits de mer dont le pouce-pied, très original...), poisson, viande... Au top !

We "found" this place through a blog as a genuine local food join. And truly it had everything one would expect: happy atmosphere with locals and (not to many) :) tourist, exceptionally friendly staff, and delicious food. From soup - we had vegetable and shrimp, to lamb and famous arroz de marisco. Just great. We waited to get in for quite some time, but it was worth every minute. Highly recommended.

les plats sont frais, serveurs sympas qui nous montrent le poisson frais avant de le cuisiner ! Restaurant de quartier simple et typique. ce n'est pas un lieu romantique mais bonne ambiance et pas cher, entre 6 et 12€ le plat. je recommande !

This was the best seafood rice I had eaten so far, which had crab, prawns and clams in it. The rice absorbed all the tasty sauce in that we wished it had more sauce. The seafood starters were very fresh too. We felt that we were the only tourists in there. I would definitely visit this restaurant again if I go to Lisbon again.

The food was very tasty, we came there 2 times during our vacation and we really enjoyed it. The staff was always smiling and very polite. We liked the way the meat and fish were also fresh.

delicious food with local portuguese spirit
its a place where you can feel real Portugal spirit, when had have been there at 5pm and despite its not really a lunch or dinner time, place was almost full of locals who enjoying drinks, food and atmosphere :) we ordered 2 beers, a portion of fried shrimps, grill sea bass with veggies and shellfish rice. All of them was amazing, fresh, delicious and well cooked. At the end we paid 42 eur which quite good when you compare with quality.

Amateurs de restaurants typiques et de poisson frais, ne passez pas à côté de Penalva da Graça ! Nous avons pu bénéficier des bons conseils du serveur en anglais sur les poissons de saison. Lieu très propre, fréquenté par les locaux, en toute simplicité.

A comida é de qualidade mediana, o atendimento pouco cuidado e as instalações sanitárias são muito más. Foi nos sugerido um prato que não constava no menu e com um preço exagerado para este restaurante.

Super resto. On paie le poisson au poids, mais ils prennent soin de te montrer la bête et de t'annoncer combien elle pèse avant de la cuire, comme ça tu peux toujours ajuster en fonction de ta faim et tu n'es pas surpris au moment de l'addition. On a mangé un bar délicieux, et des gambas grillées à l'ail à la cuisson parfaite. Ils sont généreux en ail, prends ça en compte pour ta vie sociale d'après-repas!

Local’s version of Ramiro. Visited once for lunch and again for dinner, would definitely revisit the next time I visit Lisbon and even joked that I’d have one meal here everyday. It was awkward because daily menu is handwritten and illegible but when we asked the waiter he kindly explained each menu. Each dish we ordered exploded with flavor!!! Always ended up ordering more than I can eat, but finish everything anyways.
Tried:
Gambas a la Guillo (must have, simple dish but heavenly! Had it with toasted bread, soaked up every drop of olive oil on the bread❤️)
Arroz de marisco (this dish is enough to keep two famished people full! Was packed with seafood goodness including clams, yummy crabs and prawns. So worth it )
Forgot the name of fried fish we had. But that was also good!
Giant tiger prawns (absolutely amazing - although was on a pricy side and was surprised at the bill. Two prawns, each 300g costed 45.5 euros in total! But still worth it)
Me and my friend were scrumptious and the bill amounted to around 45 for lunch then 80 for dinner but keep in mind we always ordered 3-3.5 portions along with bountiful beer.

The restaurant doesn’t look so attractive from the outside because like any good Cervejaria in Portugal they respect the old arquitectura so you don’t let yourself guide for the outside looks what really matters is the kitchen and the fresh ingredients they have ..... just ask the nice waitress to give u a little bit of the most sold items in the menu ..... you will not be disappointed.... by be hungry.... at the end a complete meal for two will be around 45€ ... and trust me you will never find those prices in the rest of Europe .... 10/10 Quality and quantity.... thanks

Il posto è terribilmente naif, sembra di entrare all'osteria di Fracchia, ma il tempo di ordinare e vi renderete presto conto di essere entrati in uno dei migliori ristoranti portoghesi di pesce di tutta Lisbona! Ma la parte migliore è il conto: pesce fresco a prezzi onestissimi....proprio come all'osteria! E se ordinate piatti con i crostacei, viene direttamente l'oste a mettervi il bavaglino, senza nemmeno chiedervelo, ve lo trovate dietro e in due secondi vi trovate protetti dagli schizzi da questi bavaglioni di plastica! Risate infinite e cibo ottimo!

Estou a fazer este comentário ainda não acabei de almoçar neste restaurante. Pedimos os pratos só passado quinze minutos é que vieram dizer que não havia o que tinhamos pedido. Quando vieram os pratos não perguntaram se queríamos com batatas fritas ou arroz e não perguntaram se queríamos salada.um serviço muito deficiente.

Super leckeres Essen und gute Preise. Man sieht schon von außen, dass die Meeresfrüchte hier sehr frisch sind (einige schwimmen noch in einem Becken herum).

I have mixed feelings sharing this hidden gem but it should not go unnoticed. A favorite spot for locals who treated us tourists like family. Super fresh, casual and relaxing hole in the wall taverna serving authentic Portuguese seafood (and meat). They use the same supplier as Ramiro but at half the price. Anthony Bourdain could have been at the corner table or the counter shooting a scene here. We ended up sharing food with one of the usuals at the counter and had such a great night. Will do this again over any of Jose Avilles’ restaurants.

Här kan man verkligen njuta av maten - haklapp knyts på och handfatet finns i korridoren. Bara att hugga in!

Ausgezeichnetes Lokal, super freundliche Leute, sehr leckeres Essen und trotz Hochbetrieb haben wir eine individuelle Beratung und Empfehlung bekommen. Es war eine kleine Herausforderung die Karte zu lesen, da alles auf Portugiesisch war, aber dafür hatten wir Unterstützung bekommen.
Insgesamt sehr gutes Essen für einen recht günstigen Preis!

The food there was so good. Furthermore, the waiter and the owner were very kind and attentive with the kids. Last but not least, the prices were very reasonable. We went there another time over our three days stay, although we were staying far from the restaurant. We'll definitely come back next time we're in town.

Looks like a greasy spoon from the outside but it's bright and spotlessly clean inside.
Extremely busy with locals (Sunday afternoon); not a tourist in sight.
Staff very friendly and extremely helpful.
Food was exquisite, esp the seafood.
Superb value for money: we (2 of us) were rushing for a flight so only had 2 fish main courses (one each), a couple of beers and a bottle of red wine - 27euros in total.
We were in Lisbon for nearly a week and ate out twice a day in lots of great (and much more expensive) places, but this was by far my favourite; will definitely be back here.

We absolutely adored It here, so much so we went there 3 times in 4 days. It truly became our local dinner spot as we were staying 3 minutes away in Graca. Yuri was great and spoke excellent English too. Definitely try the arroz de marisco, to die for! Cannot recommend it enough.

Accueil souriant, endroit local, plats choisis : riz aux fruits de mer et morue. Tout était excellent, frais, copieux, savoureux ! Prix très correct. On espère qu'ils resteront authentiques si la vague touristique arrive un jour.

I could not get enough of this place while I was in Lisbon. I was only lucky enough to stumble across it due to a referral from a local. Staff are a bit shy if your English speaking but after breaking the ice they make you feel right at home. I will happily travel from the over side of the globe just to eat here again. Closed on Wednesday

I was looking for a place serves famous Portuguese seafood rice for one person and found this local restaurant. All the menus seem to be reasonably priced. I only had the seafood rice(Arroz de Marisco) but it was outstanding. Enough amount of seafood, which gives lots of flavours in soup and rice. Simple, amazing flavour, reasonable price. Staff was also attentive and friendly, and kindly provided me a spare plate for shells and an apron to get messy. Seems I was the only tourist when I was there. Not too busy like other crazy popular restaurants filled with tourists. By the way, the place is CASH ONLY, although there is an ATM 1 minute away.

Bom restaurante para marisco e petiscos. Também tem peixe e carne. As caracoletas assadas estavam muito boas. As ameijoas à bolhão pato estavam boas com bom molho. O único reparo para as gambas à guilho, a dose podia ser mais generosa. A imperial sempre em tirada e fresca. Os preços são normais, em alguns pratos podiam ser menos caros.

What a great spot. Low key and very local atmosphere. Seafood was incredibly fresh and prepared simply to let the natural flavors speak for themselves. Not to mention a great value. I will definitely be going back again!

첫번째는 맥주 한 잔했고, 두번째는 해물밥과 조개요리를, 세번째는 맥주 한 잔과 거북손, 마지막은 해물밥을 먹으러 갔다가 재료가 없다고 해서 실패했습니다.
해물밥은 정말 신선하고 맛있었습니다. 특히 네번째 방문때 게가 오늘 들어오지 않았다며 해물밥을 팔 수 없다는걸 봐서 싱싱한 재료를 사용하는것 같았습니다.
바에는 동네사람들이 왁자지껄하며 맥주를 마시는 맛있는 동네 맛집입니다. 다른 메뉴도 먹어봤어야했는데 아쉬움이 남습니다.

餐厅氛围很棒，海鲜挺新鲜，服务热情周到，顺便说一句，吧台小哥很帅，人均10欧左右的样子，缺点是不能刷卡只能付现，而且有点咸。

We stayed for a week in Lisbon and ate here twice as the food was superb. If you know your seafood this is the place to come. Very fresh and cooked simply but perfectly as good seafood should be. Excellent clams, crab, prawns, percebes. Good service too and the waiter is good at explaining stuff to you if you're not sure. Don't just follow the sheep to ramiro's , this little gem is easily as good.

If you’re after fresh local’s seafood hideout, then this is the perfect place. Everyone is friendly - including the customers! We had the prawns to start, very fresh and succulent, grilled fish, seafood rice (normally also has mussels in too but they ran out on the night), and some steak in special sauce to try. Seafood is the winner, no need to try the steak. Cash only, very reasonable pricing.

Excellent seafood restaurant!
We book a table for lunch at this restaurant on our last day in Lisbon. When we arrived there, initially I believed that we made a mistake, because the restaurant looked very simple and unattractive from the outside.
Despite of this, we decided to stay and we didn't regret it. Inside we found a family owned business and we got a very warm welcome from the owner himself.
As the main course we decided to order a complete lobster. It was our first time when we had lobster, and the owner taught us how to properly eat it, so that we don't waste any precious lobster meat.
I am very happy that we had a chance to eat excellent seafood at this restaurant.
The only thing you need to be aware of, is that they don't accept credit / debit cards. So be prepared to have enough cash when you visit.

Fantastico! Posto tradizionale, verace e con pesce freschissimo. È una taverna familiare, molto semplice e alla mano, che ti accoglie con un sorriso e porzioni davvero abbondanti! Non si parla inglese, ma ci si capisce lo stesso e si sceglie il pesce dal banco. Rapporto qualità prezzo super!

Dieses eher unscheinbar anmutende Restaurant ist auf den ersten Blick ein hässliches Entlein. Jedoch der Inhaber sowie die Servicekräfte schaffen die Verwandlung zum Schwan im Hand umdrehen. Es gehen sehr viele Einheimische eir und aus, daher fühlt man sich hier sofort gut aufgehoben.
Die Auswahl ist top. Der frische Fang wird gerne gezeigt und wir haben uns sehr gerne für das Angebot des Tages entschieden. Ein 3-4 kg Fisch aus der Familie der Doraden? Dieser wurde dann frisch für uns gegrillt und mit Kartoffeln und einem Salat serviert. Nach anfänglichen Entgretungsschwierigkeiten hat uns der Service gekonnt den leckeren Fisch von den Gräten getrennt und so konnten wir den Fisch genießen.
Die kleine Tochter hatte zwei Fleischspiesse und Pommes. Getränke waren eine kleine Flasche Wein, eine große Flasche Wasser sowie eine Flasche Cola. In Summe 51,50 Euro. Ein sehr günstiger und geschmacklich gelungener Abend. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Great place for good honest seafood. Definitely felt like a local spot, not a tourist in sight. They brought over the fresh fish for us to select/accept and then cooked it to perfection. The house bottle of white wine was a perfect compliment.

We ate here tonight for the first time. We had some trouble reading the handwritten, Portuguese menu so we asked the waiter for suggestions. He was very kind and brought us an assortment of delicious fish with sides. To be honest, the food was so good that we thought he had tricked us into ordering expensive dishes. Not so! When we got the bill we couldn't believe how affordable it was: 45 EUR for four people including 2 beers and 2 desserts. Our waiter was so sweet, speaking English and Spanish with us. The complimentary bread even came with a yummy sheep's milk cheese! (do eat the crust, it's the best part). Between the fast, friendly service and the prices, we were floored (especially coming from Paris!). We can't wait to come back.

Comida muito boa bom ambiente os Empregados impecáveis.Ha que ter atenção ao Sr mais idoso,que penso ser o Proprietário,pois esquece do que lhe pedimos e troca o pedido. Acontece comigo quase sempre, mas não há que levar a mal,coisas da idade.De resto 10 estrelas!

Bonne ambiance. On ne se sent pas du tout dans un attrapé touriste mais vraiment dans un restaurant qu'avec des locaux. La nourriture est très bonne et les prix très raisonnable. Durant notre court séjour à Lisbonne on y est allé deux fois et jamais déçu. A ne pas manquer!

28번 트램 노선에 있는~너무 좋았던 리스본 현지 레스토랑~개인적으로 여행자들이 쉽게 접할수 있는 장소는 별로 안 좋아하지만~여기!이 레스토랑은 리스본 그 자체의 느낌이 느낄 수 있어서 좋았당~ 모든 스태프가 영어를 잘 하는 건 아니었지만! 그래도 가성비를 생각해 신선한 바다음식, 또 육류를 즐길수있었당~걍!여기 좋았음!^^

É uma mistura de tasco, no bom sentido da palavra, com cervejaria/marisqueira com preços justos, pessoal que é simpático e prestável (a começar pelo Luís). A comida muito boa... ao Domingo o Cozido à Portuguesa é dos melhores que já comi... em restaurante!

Siamo arrivati qui per caso. Il cibo è buono e abbondante, e, nonostante il personale parli poco l'inglese, ci siamo capiti lo stesso. È un ristorantino/osteria piccolino, dove si può trovare carne e pesce fresco.

Great and friendly place for especially seafood. Excellent local produce such as velvet crabs and barnacles. A really good imperial too
