Positives: Friendly and helpful front desk staff. The hotel is situated conveniently to restaurants, cafes, museums and a tram 28 stop. We stayed 4 nights in a premium queen room. The room was well maintained and cleaned and the bed was very comfortable.The breakfast was very good and well presented.Negatives: The hotel has a small footprint resulting in a tiny lobby and smaller rooms than one would expect. The interesting interior design does attempt to disguise this deficiency. The shallow, bowl type, bathroom sink, with no surrounding horizontal space to lay down the smallest of accessories, was completely impractical. North American guests should note that the in room coffee and tea are not complimentary but are charged at 2 Euros a piece.Guests should expect to have their sleep interrupted by late night revelers in the street below well into the early hours ( 3and 4 am) at weekends

Tiny lobby, but really nice hotel in the heart of town. Walking distance to almost everything. Great service. Surprisingly quiet. Remodeled stylish rooms. Very good breakfast next door for an additional but reasonable fee. An important issue that I almost forgot to mention is that the safe still has the factory default code enabled, which, of course, should have been changed by management. Needles to say, I wanted to use it but did not due to this issue. I stayed in two hotels in Europe on this trip, this one in Lisbon, and Atlas in Amsterdam. Both have the same problem regarding the factory default code. Not a good safety practice. Hopefully they will eventually incorporate this check into the "hotel management best practices handbook."

Unser Zimmer im 1.OG war kleiner als erwartet. Das ganze Hotel ist in Echt viel enger als es auf den Fotos wirkt.
Aber wir wollten uns ja die Stadt ansehen und nicht im Hotel abhängen.
Zum Frühstücksraum geht man über die Straße.
Die Angestellten waren alle nett und zuvorkommend und haben für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt gesorgt.
Die Lage ist top, perfekt und 1A mit Sternchen! Von daher stimmen Preis und Leistung.

B&B situato nella parte alta di #lisbona , comodo per raggiungere velocemente il centro in 5 minuti a piedi e le attrazioni più belle della città.
Il b&b è pulito, le stanze un piccole ma accoglienti, la colazione è a buffet sia dolce che salata, le cameriere sono molto gentili e ti assistono per ogni richiesta.
Noi abbiamo pernottato 5 notti, siamo andati li aproffittandone di un'offerta, a prezzo pieno risultava un po caro. Lo consiglio perché ci siamo trovati molto bene, è comodo, situato una bella zona e ha la colazione inclusa.

The experience overall was great. The hotel upgrade our room to a suite for free, and it was a very nice room. Clean and with a heavy presence of details of a thathre character and colors across the rooms. Breakfast is great! Freshly baked flan and quiches, and everything for a sweet or salty breakfast. Position nearby a main square, is well served by public transportation.

Sehr stylisch. Sehr sauber und freundliches Personal. Lage erstklassig, mitten in der Altstadt. Vieles zu Fuss erreichbar . Umgebung laut, aber Fenster sind gut isoliert.
Frühstück bestens, Frühstücksraum nicht soo groß. Für Rollstuhlfahrer oder Kinderwagen weniger geeignet.(enger Lift) Für alle anderen super. Taxi zum Flughafen ca 16 €

The location of the hotel was great. The room we had was nice and clean but a bit small. Breakfast was decent and had good coffee. The old style elevator was tricky to operate but better than no elevator. Only issue I had with the hotel was that they made mistake and double charged the rooms on my credit card. They did refund half of the amount in euro but I lost money in foreign currency transactions. I was told that they would not charge the city tax as they made mistake but when I was checking in they said there is no mention about not charging the city tax. I had to explain and argue with the reception one more time which was quite frustrating.

The room was so small and the paper thin walls meant we could hear every word spoken in the next door room. You couldn’t open the wardrobe door without it hitting the tv mounted to the ceiling and wall to wall mirrors did nothing to disguise the feeling we were in a prison cell. When we checked in I asked if there was a bigger room and was told this was exactly what I booked but the description and photos are very deceptive; you couldn’t get 2 people in the room simultaneously unless one was in the bathroom or on the bed. There was also no hot water one evening and the drain in the shower stank of stale, dirty water. I called down to reception and an extremely patronising young women came upstairs to explain to me that the problem was my inability to operate a shower. I have literally never stayed in a smaller, more overpriced room. Calling it ‘boutique’ is laughable. It’s just too small to rent out as a hotel room and would work much better as cupboard.

This hotel is the worst... there is no bang to the buck. Got here and getting to the hotel was a mission... most hotels “very good” hotels will send an email with local updates if there are hinderances with traveling to the hotel... not here. Not a big deal though...
we got here, called the hotel twice to see where their parking was, to no avail. Finally, we parked on the side, went inside to ask for their parking, and they sent us to a structure down the street because their parking was “full”... keep in mind, they failed to mention their parking is literally ONLY 2 SPOTS for 35 rooms!!! Still no problem, but we asked WhT the cost is for the structure, they didn’t know!! Some things just were not adding up...
we, finally, got our keys checked in and came up to the room, for $300 a night for their “normal” room, it’s a rip off!!! Check in with a day bag only! As there is no room for 2 people and luggage.
Not going to lie, I got a little fed up with this place... made no sense, but what did me over was later in the day, i went to the structure that the hotel “advised” us to park in and asked how much was it to park for 24 hours... $50 for one car!!!! The hotel has no discount with that parking structure or anything...
I stayed at another hotel for about the same price, way larger rooms, amazing service, they emailed us prior to arriving notifying us of potential hinderances/road closures, gave us a phone for the city, had discounted parking, ALL for a little more than 300!!
This place should be a last resort only. 2 stars just because the staff was kind.
Would never stay here again though.

Wonderful place to stay directed very central in Lisbon. The room was perfectly clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
We stayed for 4 nights in a standard double-bed room and we will definitely book the Teatro B&B again for our next Lisbon holidays.

We did not enjoy our stay in Teatro b&b hotel.
We were 4 people in one room that supposed to fit, but unfortunately the extra bed was too small for 2 adults (even not a double bed) and we were not able to sleep.
Another issue is the fact that our room was right next to the elevator and we can really hear it work inside the room.
The bathroom wes bad as well.
No lobby in the hotel.
Bottom line, it’s just looks nice on the outside....

Besides excellent location this hotel does not provide any added value. There is no any indulgence everything is paid.
The housekeeping is poor.
Burned lights were not replaced during 5 days of our stay. Everything inside the room is made with many imperfections. Feels very cheap.
Wifi- below any standard.
The mattress is very hard.
The breakfast is poor - just few cakes and fruits. We had not fresh vegetables at all. Bad looking scrambled eggs every day.
Bottom line - this is overpriced 2.5 stars hotel in good location.

나름 위치좋고 엘베도 있고 친절하세요.
방은 살짝 좁은 감이 있지만, 감각적으로 꾸며놨고 샤워가운과 1회용슬리퍼도 있습니다.
다만 화장실 세면대가 물이 굉~~~~장히 천천히 내려가서... 로비에 말하니 어쩔 수 없다고만 하더라구요.
양치할때도 샤워부스 이용했습니다.

+ Das Hotel war sehr zentral und das Personal war sehr freundlich.
- In der Nacht war es sehr sehr laut, man konnte ALLES hören (sogar das schnarchen von einem anderen Gast, in einem anderen Zimmer!!!). Das Frühstücksbuffet kann man nicht als Buffet bezeichnen, da es nicht so eine grosse Auswahl hatte und die Zimmer sind sehr klein...
Würde nicht nochmals in diese Hotel gehen.

Esta bien situado, la decoración original, desayuno variado. El hotel no esta bien señalizando, con lo cual me costo vida encontrarlo, solo hay 2 plazas de aparcamiento, habitación muy pequeña q no habia sitio ni para maletas, el ruido de la calle incluso con ventanas cerradas, sobre todo las gaviotas a las 5 de madrugada y un fuerte olor a tubería cuando se encendia la ducha.

A beautiful location in the heart of Lisbon is the home for this exquisite, exoticly renovated hotel. Spacious modern rooms available at competitive prices that will give you a night to remember. The walk in showers with marble floors are always hot and there are an abundance of towels provided along with lotion, shampoo and all the extras that make a difference. Continental breakfast available until 10.30 am with lots on offer for the hungry tourist. Staff go out of their way to assist.

Esperaba algo más. La habitación enana, no se podía abrir la puerta del armario porque chocaba con la cama. Una de las paredes del baño era un cristal por lo que intimidad cero y la puerta de la ducha daba a la habitación, tampoco se podía abrir del todo porque estaba la cama delante por lo que tenías que salir de lado y se calaba todo. Una habitación incómoda. Y el desayuno correcto pero para ser la única comida que daban podían haberse esmerado más. Aunque estaba bien situado no creo que repita a ese precio, creo que se puede encontrar hoteles bien situados también y una mejor relación calidad precio.

Our stay overall was positive. The room was a lot smaller than appeared in the pictures. The breakfast was decent although my son found a hair baked into his pastry. The location is excellent however and the staff were helpful and friendly

Notre séjour dans cet hôtel a été catastrophique !
Au delà de la bonne qualité du petit-déjeuner et du personnel plutôt agréable (d'où la note de 2 étoiles), notre chambre (nommée "Cassandre") ne devrait jamais être proposée à la clientèle :
- Chambre collée à un vieil ascenseur dont on entend les moindres bruits de claquements et d'ouvertures de portes : impossible de dormir sans réducteurs de bruits dans les oreilles.
- Murs fins comme du papier à cigarette : on entend nos voisins comme s'ils étaient dans notre chambre.
- La porte de la salle de douche est en verre (avec la poignée cassé) : aucune intimité pour prendre sa douche et pour aller aux toilettes (qui sont juste en face du lit !)
- Odeurs nauséabondes sortant de la douche
- Surface minuscule de la chambre : lorsque le placard est ouvert, il est impossible de circuler autour du lit. Aucun endroit pour poser sa valise à part sur le lit !
- Tout cela à un tarif beaucoup trop élevé pour la piètre qualité des équipements !
Pour résumer, nous n'aurions pas du nous fier aux commentaires positifs sur ce B&B. C'est probablement le pire hôtel que nous ayons fait depuis que l'on voyage....

Lovely boutique hotel. Decor somewhat bizarre, however that does not affect your stay. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. The afternoon we arrived the receptionist acquainted us with what was worth seeing in the vicinity she also made us a reservation at a nearby restaurant.
The real beauty of this hotel was its central position in the city. Would use it again .

It was a nice stay and very good breakfast. Just one thing to watch out is the A/C in the room works only as a heater not for cooling. :-)
Otherwise the place is very close to lot of locations and metro. Would recommend this stay.

Very clean and spacious rooms all with an own theme. Check-in was smooth and all staff were really friendly. Breakfast is very extensive, although it's mostly pastries and carbs. Would like to see more vegetables and healthy choices.
Suggestion to management: install sliding doors for the bath room and toilet, because these are just too small for inwards opening doors. Also, the wardrobe rails, the shower head and towel rails were extremely high up. It actually made no sense why everything was so impractically high, especially since the shower head was spraying all over the glass door.
But all things considered the value is pretty good for the price and the location is excellent.

Haben ein Upgraet bekommen. Juniorsuite beste Lage guter Ausblick auf den Tejo. Das kleine kuschligeHotel liegt mitten in der Altstadt 75m von der Metrostation entfernt.(keine Bettenbunker) Wenige Meter von der Platform des Elevator St. Justa. Peronal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Zimmer sind sauber. Auch wenn nicht alle Probleme sofort gelöst werden konnten. Einen Monteur für eine undichte Dusche am Wochenende zu bekommen, ist auch nicht einfach. Das Frühstück war lecker und für jeden was dabei. Die kleinen süßen und herzhaften Teilchen sind eine Sünde wert. Aber auch das frische Obst ist qualitativ sehr wertvoll.Ich kann das Teatro nur empfehlen!

Wir hatten ein Standard-Zimmer gebucht und wurden auf eine Suite umgebucht, obwohl wir nur 2 Nächte vor Ort waren. Tolle geschmackvolle Unterkunft auch in den den Standardzimmern. Alles sehr sauber und an der kleinen Rezeption waren alle super freundlich. Das Frühstück würde im eigenen Bistro, zwei Türen weiter, angeboten. Auch hier waren alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und das Frühstücksangebot war sehr vielfältig und von guter Qualität.

The location was very convenient as the best bars, restaurants and historic buildings were all nearby. The room I stayed in was rather small, but nicely decorated and had a nice quirky 1930's feel to it. As for the service, it was first class. The receptionists were very helpful and assisting with a smile every time. I would definitely stay again.

Conveniently located close to the city hub,with many restaurants and bars just round the corner and excellent modes of conveyance at your disposal this accommodation was a splendid find.
We had a luxurious stay having been upgraded to a super deluxe room in this distinctively laid out BnB. The breakfast is worth a special mention with a wide assortment to choose from and kick off your day with a happy stomach. Four stars for the room and amenities and an extra star for the lady in the restaurant for her hospitality.

Goed hotel met vriendelijk personeel op een perfecte locatie, met alle bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand en omringd door geweldige restaurants. Prima kamers met alles erop en eraan, fantastisch uitgebreid ontbijt met good old Frankie Sinatra op de achtergrond, relaxed wakker worden in een heerlijke relaxede stad. Top!

We loved staying at Teatro, service was great, rooms were clean and most of all it was in a really lovely part of town, restaurants and shops within working distance and really lovely buildings and streets. We would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

Als Zwischenstopp nach Madeira, mit viel Gepäck, war das Zimmer Nr. 2, 1. OG, relativ klein. Logistisch eine Herausforderung. Aber das Zimmer selbst war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Guter Innenarchitekt(in). Hervorragendes Design mit (Teatro)-bezug. Die Lage war optimal. alles lag in Gehweite, auch das Restaurant Limoncello gegenüber, sehr empfehlenswert. Das Frühstückscafe, das zum Hotel gehört, war tadellos, sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Bedienung und das Buffet hatte mehr als das Mindestangebot. Alles in allem hatten wir 3 angenehme Tage.

Très bon séjour à Lisbonne dans cet hôtel. Décoration raffinée, propreté impeccable seul hic lascenseur est très petit, on rentre à peine à deux personnes (sans bagage!).Un excellent petit déjeuner, varié avec des spécialités du pays, un personnel très accueillant.Lhôtel est très bien situé, au cœur de Lisbonne et des différents quartiers à visiter.Si nous retournons à Lisbonne nous reprendrons cet hôtel sans hésiter!

Das kleine Hotel bietet alles was man sich für einen Städtettrip wünscht: zentrale Lage, geschmackvolle Zimmer, hilfsbereites Hotelteam und ein sehr gutes Frühstück.Allerdings würde ich nächstes Mal lieber die Tage zwischenSonntag und Freitag wählen. Denn am Wochenende ist es nachts sehr laut auf den Straßen, was die Nachtruhe doch sehr beeinträchtigt.

Das Hotel ist gut gelegen. Das Zimmer war originell gestaltet. Für zwei Personen etwas klein mit wenig Ablagemoglichkeiten, besonders im Bad. Für ein Wochenende aber völlig ausreichend. Ich würde wieder hier übernachten. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit.

Verry nice b&b. More like a cosy hotel then a b&b. Good service and splendid breakfest. Excellent location to explore the great city!

Die Lage ist perfekt um Lissabon zu erkunden. Das Hotel ist eine kleines Schmuckstück. Die Zimmer sind zwar nicht groß und man hat sehr wenig Platz aber alles andere gleicht das aus. Der Service ist so wie man es eigentlich von den großen teuren 5 Sterne Hotels erwarten sollte. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr sehr herzlich, hilfsbereit und vermitteln einem das Gefühl bei Freunden zuhause zu sein. Auch bei der Parkplatzsuche wurden wir so perfekt informiert, sodass wir nur 6 Euro für das ganze Wochenende (3 Tage) bezahlt haben Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und die Mitarbeiterinnen im Frühstücksraum sind total klasse. Zum Abschluss bekommt man mit beiden Händen einen herzlichen Händedruck und eine gute Weiterreise gewünscht.

Hôtel très bien situé dans la quartier du Chiado, chambre élégante, literie confortable.Bon petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix.
