Ho avuto il piacere di mangiare qui con un'amica, siamo state accolte dal personale molto gentile. Il locale è piccolo, ma grazioso e il cibo, per quanto riguarda il pesce, è davvero buono. Consigliatissimo!

Uum average - service perfunctory and unfriendly - portions generous - some dishes ok but was seriously unimpressed with the House Special Cod - like eating blotting paper. The locals seemed to like it so maybe an experience not to my taste!

Gostei bastante da primeira vez que aí fui. O bacalhau à moda da casa estava bom e a sala tinha bom ambiente. A segunda vez que fui desiludiu-me, pois apesar de apenas estar funcionar a 50% (dado que é inverno é normal), a sala não tinha ambiente. Sem música, ambiente. A única coisa que se ouvia era o ruído dos talheres que o empregado arrumava. Não fiquei, levantei e saí. Ainda assim, pela minha primeira experiência, creio que merece a pena experimentar.

Totale Enttäuschung,
Es fing damit an, dass der Kellner sehr lustlos und gelangweilt war. Nicht unfreundlich, aber Lust zu arbeiten hatte der keine. Weiter ging es mit alten Brötchen als Aperitif, sowie ganz einfachen Oliven. Das Hauptgericht, bacalau königsart war komplett aus Tiefkühlprodukten zusammen gewürfelt und dann noch nicht mal gut abgeschmeckt. Auch das bacalau a bras, total schlecht gekocht. Das haben wir schon sehr viel besser in Lissabon gegessen. Leider wurde uns so der letzte Abend in Lissabon verdorben.

Miglior baccalà assaggiato dopo esser stato in diversi ristoranti tra Porto e Lisbona. Locale molto accogliente e tipico, pesce freschissimo. Consigliati i calamari arrosto e il baccalà real. Ottime anche le torte fatte in casa.

Com bastantes anos no activo, é um restaurante típico de Lisboa, pratos da cozinha portuguesa entre eles destacam-se o bacalhau. Atendimento simpático e eficiente, jantei bacalhau e estava óptimo. local acolhedor, decoração interessante,preços um pouco altos 26 € bacalhau.

Authentiek restaurant. Vriendelijke en snelle bediening. Goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. De ruimte staat tamelijk vol met tafeltjes. Je kan de keuken inkijken en die ziet er netjes uit. Ook het keukenpersoneel is netjes en met haarnetje ah werken. Een aanrader.

Un ristorante che consiglio. Sempre meglio prima prenotare, visto che il locale è piccolino. C'è poco spazio tra i tavoli, ma rende tutto un po' più "famigliare". Il personale è cordiale. A differenza di qualche anno fa, ora spiegano (come ho notato anche in altri posti) che gli antipasti che metteno sul tavolo si pagano se consumati. Accettano pagamenti con carta.

Nous sortons du restaurant recommandé par un site professionnel c'est véritablement un très bon restaurant le personnel est très accueillant c'est très propre est très sympa comme déco. Surtout on y mange très très bien je vous recommande la morue royale plat typique portugais les produits sont de grandes qualités et concernant ce plat la cuisson était parfaite. Tous les plats sont copieux leur jambon est également délicieux nous avons bu un vin blanc Douro très bon également leur Porto est top aussi. Concernant les tarifs très raisonnables aussi.

Worst costumer service I have ever had. We didn’t order any wine and yet the waiter came to the table with a bottle of white that he promptly served to both of us before we could even say no. Took ages to order as it felt the staff couldn’t care less about us. The cherry on top was when I had to phisically go to the counter twice to ask if we could pay.
Didn’t feel authentic nor worth a visit.
Avoid.

Sono stata in questo posto con un amica. Il cibo e questo famoso baccalà reale non è nulla di che ma la cosa piu antipatica è stato il personale ed il proprietario. Il cameriere,un ragazzo con gi occhiali ci guardava con aria di superiorità e faceva finta di non parlare la mia lingua che poi ho capito conoscere benissimo. Anche il proprietario non era molto accogliente. Prezzi normali

Endroit à fuir absolument
Même si le cadre est typique , la morue correct, les serveurs et patron sont carrément antipathiques, voir méprisants avec les clients . Un des serveur ( lunette assez jeune ) fait semblant de ne pas comprendre le français et quand on part on l entend parler français !
Les plats de morues corrects mais le porc aux palourdes absolument immonde, sec et le tout baigne dans l huile de friture
Après un coup d œil dans les assiettes de nos voisins, ça n a pas l air plus reluisant.
Quand on leur expose le problème, ils font comme si de rien était .
Bref on paye, on part même pas un merci au revoir .

This cute restaurant is hidden in one of the alleys of Bairro Alto. Portions are quite big for the price (we spent around £15 each for starters, main and wine) and the food is definitely good but you can tell they are used to tourists (all waiters speak multiple languages) and I don't think it's the most authentic you can find out there. With that said, friendly service and nice ambience so would still reccomend if you are looking for something in the area!

A well established restaurant we discovered in the Bairro Alto. They open late for dinner, 7:00 pm. The food is excellent and the service is great. It is small and gets packed with the locals. The cod dish is their specialty and recommended. Ate there twice and was not disappointed.

Bacalhau real digno da realeza, o bacalhau estava excelente. Onde comemos muito bem com ótimos preços. Uma observação para o dono, não classifiquei 5 estrelas pelo azeite que vem na mesa para acompanhar o pão, o azeite é ruim, não condiz com a ótima qualidade da comida. Não é o azeite que usam pra cozinhar é o azeite que vem na mesa para os petiscos. No mais foi ótimo desde o atendimento.

아는곳이 없어서 구글 지도 평 보고 찾아가게 된 식당.
위치가 식당 찾아갈때 보니 약간 어둑한 분위기인게 밤문화가 열리는 공간인듯 했음.
포르투갈 하면 바깔라우! 그래서 바깔라우 요리 두가지 시켰는데... 양이 많음. 점심을 늦게 먹어서 그런가 크게 배가 고프지 않는 상태로 더 늦기전에 먹으러 가서 그랬나 양이 많아 결국 반도 못먹고 포장해서 가지고옴.
조금 느끼해서 와인과 같이 먹거나 하면 좋을 것 같은데 나는 술은 못마시니 환타달라고 했는데 환타는 없고 로컬 브랜드인 zumol이란게 있다고 해서 받았는데 그냥 콜라 마실껄 생각듬..
직원도 괜찮았고 맛도 조금 느끼했지만 바깔라우와 같이 나온 감자도 괜찮았음. 속을 비우고 배고플때 찾아가서 먹으면 좋을것 같다.

Finally ate here after missing out on previous visits to Lisboa (if you see a space then go in!). Typically relaxed Portuguese service, not at all rushed take your time and soak up the atmosphere (as well as the great wines). Once visited you'll want to return

Cena di emergenza dato che il lunedì molti locali sono chiusi. Locale tipico ma qualità decisamente “masenga”. Nello specifico abbiamo preso del baccalà con porto e brandy che però era solo nella descrizione ma non nel piatto. Dolci stopposi e di medio livello.Diciamo senza infamia e senza lode ma giusto per riequilibrare le calorie disperse. Non ci ritornerei

Hemos cenado sopa del día y bacalo real (la especialidad de la casa) y brasa y la verdad es que nos ha parecido aceptable tirando a justito. El bacalao estaba duro y una de las patatas del real fría por dentro.

A trip in time, this place looks like it hasn’t changed since it opened in 1976. They seem to have given everything a good dusting recently. Menu is available in a few languages, every Portuguese classic is on the menu. Be warned that bread, cheese, olives, is part of the couvert price. It is not expensive but if you touch it, you pay for it. Some reviewers seem to not grasp that Portuguese concept. Fun packed place with entertaining waiters.

Dopo varie ricerche abbiamo deciso di provare "Bota Alta", un ottima scoperta, personale disponibile e sempre presente, esaustivi nella spiegazione ( anche in italiano) dei vari piatti presenti nel menù... il locale è piccolo per il numero di coperti che può accogliere ma non ci si sente mai "affogati"... consiglio vivamente questo posto!!!

Overall an ok, but not great, experience. The interior design is retro and nostalgic but lacking authenticity. In the beginning we were asked to choose from bread and olive for appetizer. The way he presented it made we think it was for free but well, of course we were billed for it. The staff recommended cod fish as their signature dish so we went with it but couldn’t finish because it was too oily for us. We ordered tomato rice as well but the taste was bland. The clam dish was good though. I personally liked the sweetness of red sangria as well.

おススメはCod fish（タラ）のフライと言われて注文してが、ちょっと油が多くて味付けもイマイチ。一緒に頼んだTomato riceも普通。前菜のオリーブの美味しくない。唯一アサリの酒蒸しみたいなもの（パクチー、レモン、オリーブオイル）は美味しかったが、全体的には特別おすすめする程ではない。

Stio pequeño pero muy acogedor! El trato de los camareros fue excelente y la comida muy rica. Eramos dos y pedimos unas almejas (espectaculares), una ensalada y el famoso bacalao real (para uno), bacalao que hacen al horno con mucha cebollita y unas patatas rebozadas. Postre casero y vino recomendado. Repetiremos!!

Great authentic food, attentive service, nice ambiance and reasonable prices. What else can you ask for? Cute decor and very hospitable staff: they offered the new wine of the year and roasted chestnuts to clients at the end of dinner to celebrate Saint Martin's day.

Lieu très sympathique au coeur du Bairro Alto, où vous pourrez toujours écouter un peu de Fado.
Personel sympa et très bonne cuisine typiquement Portugaise. Quel régale, à s'y rendre surtout le soir quand il fait beau... il fait toujours beau à Lisbonne !!!

Un buon ristorante dove mangiare piatti tipici portoghesi.
Servizio veloce, porzioni abbondanti prezzi economici, anticipati da un buon formaggio e da buonissime olive.
Buonissimi i dessert.
Alcuni camerierini parlano italiano e tutti sono disponibili e gentili.
Locale pulito, forse ci sono troppi tavoli e le persone sono un po' ammassate ma il locale non risulta troppo rumoroso.

I did not like this place very much: the table they gave us was in a narrow corner of the room so there was very little space to move. They gave us olives and cheese as appetizer without asking and of course we had to pay for it. Also the main course (bachalau real in my case) was not so good, too much onion and potatoes, too little codfish. I think you can find something better in Lisbon.

Low-key but well executed, this place certainly stands out from the crowd of uniform, touristy alternatives comprising most of the Bairro Alto. The service is kind and efficient, the bacalhao real is a must try. Not ideal is you're on a diet, though.

Cibo molto buono e prezzi onesti. Nonostante le dimensioni ridotte del locale (siamo comunque riusciti a cenare in 6 alle 20:00 senza prenotazione) si riesce a parlare facilmente con i commensali

Bit pricy, not so busy during the weekday. The feature is "Cod Real" quite interesting flavour. Tastes very good during the first few bites but unfortunately gets a little too oily. Nice decoration and locates in one of the most busy district.

It's a very good and tradicional place, the tradicional and old design, will show you a good way of the old restaurants in Portugal.
The food as a lot to change, I took fried fish with tomato rice but it was a bit salty and overcooked. But overall it's a good place in the middle of Bairro Alto

I'm Portuguese. The menu largely contains the classic working-class Portuguese staple recipes; which are rather simple, but which I love. However, the quality of the dishes are not up to the same standards as the decoration of the place, nor what you'd expect given the price that you pay. Let me be clear: the food is ok, but it is not amazing; and I suppose everything in this neighbourhood is a little overcharged and a little underwhelming. The house red was really good and the waiters were nice. Desserts were quite good: the Pão de Ló was my favourite of the ones that we tried.

Food was basically inedible. Both dishes oversalted. I like salt, and I'm not picky in general, but this was something very bad. Not friendly, and not cheap either.

The food was basically ok, but the cosy interior seems to offer more than what you actually get. The green bean soup for a starter tasted mostly of uninteresting broth and potatoes. For main course the cod was a standard tourist cod; meaning it was overly cooked, way to much salt and swimming in oil. The squid kebab was actually tasty, but also boring with the big squid too chewy. Not enough lemon. So inside was nice, good volume and service - but the food was a bit bland.

Mixed experience here. Restaurant came highly recommended by a colleague. We went as a group. First of all - be aware, there is limited space - so expect to be crammed! Food was so so (nothing amazing). But the Fado...was a blessing and a curse. Yes, it´s nice to be seranaded by live music of the local folk variety - but as I just mentioned, space is limited - and the speakers are VERY loud. On top of all that, during the singing session, diners are expected to listen and eat - not chatter! We weren't noisy or boisterous - but we were told to whisper quitely if we wanted to talk - which was pretty impossible with those speakers. One for Fado die-hard fans only - and very small people who can sit huddled together for around 4 hours.

I had the bread seafood stew with prawns and clams. I guess I missed the part where he said that some people don't like it, but he was right. It was a thick gruel that didn't really have much of a taste. I tried the cod real that my brother and his wife ordered, and while it was ok, it seemed very inelegant. I definitely wouldn't go there again.
