Pedro was a great instructor - happily gave us a group lesson on the spot and was helpful to each of us even though we had varying levels of experience. It was my first time trying surfing and he made it very approachable!

Pedro was a fantastic instructor- we called him in the morning and he turned up 15 minutes later and was happy to give us a group lesson which was really good value. Friendly, positive, we recommend him if you need surfing lessons in Colares area!

Had a fantastic week with Pedro & Gonçalo. I personally improved my surfing a lot thanks to their tips and generous support. Highly recommending it!

Ich habe mich in äusserst gut betreut und sicher gefühlt im Wasser. Sie sind kompetent, super gelaunt und ihre coole Art war ansteckend. Sie hatten immer ein Auge auf alle Teilnehmenden und waren für Fragen und Anregungen immer offen.
Das Surfen zu lernen an so einem schönen Ort mit so diversen Surfspots und mit so herzlichen Menschen war einfach bezaubernd! :)
I felt always very good guided and secure in the ocean. The team is capable, always in a good mood that was catching. They had always an eye on the participants and were always very open for questions and remarks as well.
To learn how to surf at so many diverse surfspots with such lovely people is just fantastic! :)

Excelente equipa de profissionais. Equipamentos (Fatos, Pranchas etc) sempre modernos, novos e limpos. Uma equipa muito simpática e conhecedora da modalidade. Todas as semanas deixo o meu filho (10 anos) ao cuidado destes excelentes profissionais!
Excellent team of professionals. Equipment (Suits, boards etc) always modern, new and clean. A very friendly and knowledgeable team. Every week I leave my son (10 years old) in the care of these excellent professionals!

Our Instructor did a great job. He gave the right hints to each us 4 individually so within half an hour everyone managed to stand up at least once ;-)

as intermediate surfers we can say after a few lessons: very good and relaxed coaches, well organized, surf equipment is great - thanks a lot, also for the pix. ;-)

Sergio and his other instructors were excellent. We were a family group of 11 ranging from 8 to 48yrs old mostly beginners but they catered for all of us and everyone had a good time, with clear instructions in good English.

Unsere 12 jährige Tochter hat Surfstunden genommen. Der Kontakt war bereits im Vorfeld sehr nett und unproblematisch, die Surfstunden super, es gab sogar einen deutschsprachigen Surflehrer. Absolut empfehlenswert!

A sido una experiencia impresionante, se te da un muy buen equipo para practicarlo así como un muy buen trato de los instructores.
En cuanto al oleaje perfecto con olas muy buenas tanto como para aprender como para personas con mas nivel.
Recomiendo esta escuela a todas las personas.

I always have the best time surfing with the Surf At team. Pedro and all the team are so friendly and really know what they’re doing. I can’t recommend them more highly. I was a beginner surfer and now feel much more confident in the ocean and attempting to catch waves by myself.

At Surf - Surf School: we spent a week at Praia das macas and the five kids (and some adults) in our group surfed everyday (20+ lessons) and improved hugely over the course of the week. We all had a fantastic time. The instruction, wetsuits and equipment were first class ... and Super Cool Pedro the owner exudes enthusiasm and supplements the other instructors with insightful coaching advice. Highly recommended, we were very pleased with At Surf.

Hice surf 4 días seguidos con esta escuela, fue todo cojonudo, Pedro y Gonçalo, los dueños, han sido unos profesores muy buenos y el material se adapta a todos los niveles. 100% recomendable.

Perfect place to learn to surf. Gonçalo and his crew (Gustavo, Daniel, etc.) are great guys and full of good tips and tricks on how to constantly improve. We went as a family with our two girls, 6 and 8 years old, all of us first-timers, and we had a wonderful time. The kids were looked after very well, while us adults tried our best in the waves. Very recommendable surf school with good kind hearted people. We hope to be back.

Excellent surf school! Gonçalo was very patient and knowledgeable and explained the basics really well! I was able to stand up on the board on the first day and so did my 8yo! All the instructors encouraged us and were very friendly! We will be back for sure! Obrigado!
