Attention toutefois, le prix minimum par personne est de 40 euros et la carte de crédit n'est pas acceptée (mieux vaut être prévenu). Mais le prix se justifie, que ce soit pour le concert ou pour la cuisine.

Every tourist want to try Fado in Lisbon and it becomes hard to find the right place to go with all these recommendations. I followed a friend's advice to this place and do not regret it at all. The atmosphere was perfect, it's a cozy place which feels very traditional even though it's mostly foreigners in there. The food is great and the Fado artists are absolutely brilliant. We had a perfect evening and can only recommend this place to others.
Now for practical tips you should always book via phone. They accept only cash and the minimum price is 40€ per person which is quite standard for Fado places. It includes the show but you can pay more if you order more pricey things. We ended up around 110€ for two and it's really worth it. Service is also great with good advice on wine and kind staff.

Dieses ein bisschen versteckt gelegene Restaurant ist ein wahrer Geheimtipp. Für die Besucher empfehle ich unbedingt an einem Fado Abend zu kommen, um die traditionelle Fado Musik hier life zu geniessen.
Zum Essen kann ich hier Fisch uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Der Fisch ist wirklich frisch und schmeckt grandios. Ich werde auf jede. Fall wieder hier her kommen!

Lângă muzeul fado, local micuț tradițional portughez, atmosferă intimă. Deschis 20-23 (alții 21-01!). Mâncare bună și scumpă, dar merită, fiind inclus și spectacolul celor 5 interpreți (3 vocal și 2 chitare) care dau farmec acestui loc. Consum minim 40 euro de persoană. Foarte plăcut

Be sure to make a reservation min a month before, the place has few tables and is always full, especially in summer. Know that the minimum consumption is 40 euro/person, which seems reasonable to me as the show is included and they have to pay the Fado artists.
Food was ok, nothing spectacular, simple yet tasty dishes, maybe tell the staff if you don't like coriander, because they put it in the most seafood dishes.
But of course we didn't come (only) for the food but mainly for the Fado performance. I can tell you.... It was amazing!!! There were three singers and two guys with guitars, they all gave an outstanding performance! Thank you very much for an unforgettable evening!!!
There sure are cheaper places that will promise you an evening with Fado music, but you surely don't visit Lisbon every day, so do yourself a favor and invest the money for having an amazing experience with a first class performance!

밥값치곤 비싸지만 공연을 생각하면 전혀 아깝지 않았어요! 갑자기 가게 된 거라 예약없이 8시 오픈시간에 맞춰갔는데 다행히 평일이어서인지 자리가 있었어요.
8시에 주문받고 음식은 천천히 나오는데 처음으로 나온 샐러드 먹고나니 9시쯤 불이 차츰 어두워지며 여자 솔로 공연이 시작됐고 3-4곡 뒤에 다시 불이 켜져서 두 번째 음식을 먹고나니 30분 후 남자 솔로와 마지막 듀엣을 했어요. 그 다음 다시 불이 켜져서 좀 즐기고나니 중년 혹은 장년의 여자분이 공연을 했고 마지막으로 단체공연이 있었어요.
좁고 어두운 공간에서 온전히 노래에만 집중할 싀 있는 좋은 기회였어요!
너무 즐거웠습니다~^^

Trouver par hasard en essayant de trouver une "Taverna" avec du Fado qui était tous full ce dimanche soir.
Malgré le prix demandé un peu onéreux(~40eur/personne) incluant le spectacle que nous avons assez apprécié mon groupe et moi.
les - : Prix / Soirée allongée(Tout s’arrête dans le restau pendant la représentation)
les + : FADO magique spectacle- théâtrale / Diner très bon en Entrée et Plat

It was a highly recommended place for me and I went there with expectations for a great evening. What a disappointment! Sea bass burnt out, fado guitar player shutting out guests to stop eating because of the noise...I get the silence tradition however it was a bit harsh. Wine selection below impressive, cocky staff. Shrimps were delicious, must admit. Overall, pricy yet ordinary place, random.

Si quieres disfrutar de un ambiente de fado, cálido e íntimo, junto a una rica comida y vinos portugueses, este es un excelente lugar. Te puede llamar la atención que los precios de los platos sean un poco mayores a lo normal, pero se entiende que incluye la presentación de fados, que de verdad vale la pena. Es un lugar con pocas mesas, lo que provoca un ambiente muy agradable. Y algo que es importante: los fados se escuchan en silencio!

Entrañable. Una familia fadista de varias generaciones hacen de este sitio un lugar inolvidable en el que cenas acompañada de los fados portugueses en directo. 40 euros consumo mínimo. Non abbiamo cenato, poiché solo dopo esserci sedute (avevamo prenotato telefonicamente nel pomeriggio) abbiamo appreso del menu fisso obbligatorio di minimo 40 euro a testa per la serata 'fado'. Sarebbe stato più onesto, da parte loro, informarci per telefono di questo particolare per niente irrisorio. In ogni caso, prezzi abbastanza alti per la media della città.

Os pratos tem se ser pedidos todos ao mesmo tempo ( entrada + principal + sobremesa ), e depois de cada apresentação de fado, uma parte da apresentação é servida.

Sensacional!!! Experiência incrível em Lisboa!! Ouvimos um concerto com 4 diferentes cantores de fado, que foi realmente lindíssimo, além de estar em um ambiente super tradicional, aconchegante, pequeno, o que fez toda diferença. Para comer peçam a a alcatra que fica horas cozinhando no forno, estava sensacional!!!

The fado is breathtakingly beautiful and the service was perfection. The portions are HUGE! The minimum per person has increased to €40 but it's not hard to hit it with an entree per person, bottle of wine and an appetizer to share. My group of 3 had 1 appetizer, 3 entrees, bottle of wine, 1 dessert, and 3 glasses of port and it was about €60/person including a tip. Remember you're not just paying for the food, you're also paying the performances! I also recommend going with their menu suggestions, they were our favorite dishes of the night.

Lugar de muita tradição e cultura de raiz no mais tradicional Fado da região com mais de 60 anos de existência. Serviço e cozinha de muita qualidade e requinte jantamos arroz de lagosta regados de vinho Branco Sobral da região do Dão. Perfeita harmonização. O show é um espetáculo a parte, uma experiência realmente imperdível para quem quer conhecer e se conectar com a cultura local musical e poética.

We liked the music but the food was a bit overpriced and not that tasty. Overall, it's a nice place to enjoy dinner with Fado performance. Come early (before 8pm) so that you can finish your dinner before music starts. Plan to spent 50+ Euros per person.

Choose a different place!
The concept of this place is to make loads of money in the shortest time possible. The wine was the worst I have had in the whole of Portugal (7€ per glass), we paid 14€ for a slice of cheese (appetizer) and in total 160€ for truly bad dishes, overcooked rice (29€) and horrible beef. The girl attending us spoke bad English and was not kind, nor friendly. We had no desert, as the prices were ridiculously high. We waited for one hour and a half for the food to come and when it came, we had to stop in the middle, as the lights went dim and we could not see the food, nor make any noise (the singers had politely asked everyone to keep silent and not use the phones while they sang, which is understandable, but not WHILE you dine!). The music was good, but the third artist looked bored. Nothing special about this place, although they consider themselves the oldest fado restaurant in the Alfama. I´m sure there are better places, do not come here, it´s not worth the time or money.

My first Fado experience, which I really enjoyed. The guitar players and singers performed beautifully and professionally, great atmosphere with dimmed lights. Food and wine were delicious, we tried the vegetarian options - salad, soup and stuffed eggplants. And grilled sea bass was excellent! The desserts were a bit overpriced for what we got. The staff was friendly, overall we had a great evening. It's a small place with many tables, so be prepared to sit tightly!

Espectacular!!! Ja tinhamos estado há 10 anos no dezembro 2008 e agora o conzerto foi muito melhor. Não é muito economico mas estas a ter um conzerto intimo e muito bom... Recomendo para a toda gente que desfruta muito com o fado e a comida portuguesa... Voltaremos de novo!!! :-)

Es war komplett voll. Erstmal ein gutes Zeichen, wir haben das Restaurant empfohlen bekommen und waren sehr gespannt. Nachdem wir in die Karte geschaut haben, waren wir doch sehr überrascht über die Preise (Vorspeise im Schnitt 12 Euro; Hauptspeise nicht unter 25 Euro) außerdem nur Cash Zahlung und "Mindestbestellwert" pro Person 30 Euro. Vorspeise war super, aber die Hauptspeise leider nicht so gut. Während der Fado Vorstellung durfte man weder essen noch reden und nach dem Zahlen muss man eigentlich bleiben und die nächste Fado Vorstellung anhören.

Hotel recommended this place to us for Fado. Great music. Great food. However, these people are Fado snobs. So if you are a foreigner and want to talk at your table mates during the performance do not go. You must sit there and eat and drink quietly like misbehaved school children sent to the corner for a timeout. We had the very unfortunate situation of being seated right next to the singer and her instrumentalist who sat at our table. He stopped music mid-song to reprimand us In front of entire restaurant for talking to each other during the woman’s performance. Rude IMO. We had just visited another place nearby (wish I remember the name of it) where we were randomly surprised with Fado and laughed and talked with the singer convivially and without issues. Don’t get me wrong. I do recommend this place. Just go with proper attitude in mind. Not for fun. But for funeral style seriousness.

O show de Fado e Desgarrada é simplesmente perfeito. O restaurante é ótimo, como todos os restaurantes em que estive em Portugal.
Já estive no Parreirinha do Alfama, quando estive em Lisboa em 2014, e já tinha gostado muito, por isto voltei a esta casa.
Tantas forem as vezes que retornar a Lisboa no futuro , sempre farei o possível para retornar.
Acredito que seja um programa imperdível a todos que visitarem esta fantástica cidade.

An absolute tourist trap and rip off! EUR30 minimum charge per person - this is not mentioned on the web nor the owner told us about it when we made the reservation. At the end of the dinner we were surprised that it’s cash only (again no sign of it beforehand). The menu is boring, not really traditional Portuguese food. The items we have ordered were just ok. We ordered a bottle of sparkling water. Got charged EUR4.40 for a tiny mini bottle that cost in mini market next door EUR0.80. Small busket of bread with butter EUR6 — insanely unreasonable. That really felt like a rip off. At the end of the dinner have some patience because it takes forever to get the check and change. This is because over 15 tables are processed by the owner. Waiter is not allowed to produce checks and handle the money. We had high hopes for this spot but it was a complete disappointment.
Update: the owner or whoever replied to my comment is trying to be really sarcastic and funny by saying we missed the door and might have intended to go to mini market. This is just really shows how low of class this place is. We indeed got charged EUR4.40 for tiny bottle of sparkling water which literally is half a glass. We made a reservation by phone and this was the right time to tell the customer that there is a minimum charge per person and cash only. This is just silly to say that it was on front page of the menu because you are already sitting at the table. By telling your customer in advance you do yourself a favor. The owner might not be aware that majority of people traveling from North America 99% of the time are using credit cards. For a place like that it is really shameful not to accept credit cards! Do yourself a favor and find an authentic place to experience Fado. Sure they don’t charge extra for the show but it’s already priced in in your food.

Restaurante típico para cenar con fados. La comida es normal y el precio alto, pero claro, estas pagando la sesión de fados, que vale muy mucho la pena. Hacen varias sesiones breves a lo largo de la cena, bajando La Luz hasta la penumbra y en el más silencio absoluto uno se evade y disfruta de esta música tan nostálgica.

Contrary to any of the negative reviews this is a clean well run family operation with a long history in the Alfama. The tradition is well represented with this particular restaurant. I would recommend to anyone interested in an authentic introduction to the fado tradition.

The place is a total rip off!
First of all, there is a note in the menu saying that the consumption is a minimum of 30 euros per person ! I think it’s really a lack of class!
Nobody told me anything when I reserved!
I don’t really care about this but I think it should be communicated upfront!
I ordered the sardines and it was ok. Nothing exceptional. Then I ordered the clams as my main course.
The clams arrived and it was the size of an appetizer for 21 euros!!! It came with nothing! No veggies ... nothing
My boyfriend ordered the sea bass for 25 and he had a nice plate!
So my advice select well what you want to eat if you still want to come here.

I just got called out by the Manager that came to my table to tell me my comment wasn’t fair!!
I guess some people can’t take feedback!!
Then some other guy came at the end (I don’t know who it is since he didn’t care to introduce himself) he said “so it wasn’t enough clams for you ?” I said “No” . Then he said that my review wasn’t polite. LOL ...I said “you have a real problem if you can’t take feedback and reflect on your weakeness”. But he didn’t care to listen to me... i wonder who was not polite!?
This restaurant is a pity because of the people that manage it!
Too bad because the singers were awesome!!!

Absolutely superb! Without a doubt the highlight of my stay in Lisbon. The food, the service, the ambiance...the Fado! All of it came together to produce a blissful evening! I was alone and yet I befriended a group of Portuguese and Australian patrons sitting next to me. They made me feel like a guest at their table. Carla, my server, was a superstar. The space is small and intimate, and as a server, I can imagine how challenging it is to navigate it. She did it with aplomb! The grouper stew was heavenly. The Fado performance was very traditional as reported by the Portuguese guests I met. In fact, nearly half the patrons were locals which says a lot. I cannot wait to return. Remember to be respectful and do not use your phone or talk during the performance!

Make sure you visit this place while staying in Lisbon. This was an amazing experience that I'm glad we didn't miss. Generally bookings are required but if you show up 15 minutes after opening there is a chance that you will be lucky, as we were, and find that a table has freed up. This was my first Fado experience and it delivered beyond expectations.

I don’t write reviews normally, but in this case that’s the least I can do! The Fado show at Perreirinha de Alfama will touch your heart. People, food, music, ambience, service everything is brilliant. The minimum charge for the entire event - 40 p.p may seem high to many people but the fado shows makes it worth every penny! I would come here again!

Вы приходите на представление, блюда идут в нагрузку. И хорошее представление в 3-х частях! З разных исполнителя. Ничего не понятно на португальском, но всё совершенно ясно. Полное вовлечение- зал мал, потолок низкий, вентиляция так себе, исполнители почти сидят на ваших коленях. Всё строго. Снимать нельзя, говорить запрещено. 3 раза начинали всё заново потому что кто-то говорил в зале! Но это прекрасно и стоит того, чтобы посетить хотя бы раз в жизни. Кстати, блюда тоже неплохие, но это не главное. И да - это не дёшево.

Parreirinha de Alfama is the oldest Fado restaurant in Alfama, dating back to 1939. Minimum charge for its very decent dinners is € 40,- p.p. and one is expected to be there around 20.00. It is not a tourist trap. Many locals go there as well as those tourists who know how to respect local custom to be silent when the singers are performing.

I really enjoyed the meal and the show! It was totally worth it and still managed to preserve an authentic feeling. At first I was worried since they have a minimum spend at the restaurant that the quality would suffer, but it wasn’t the case! The food was delicious and the fado singing was great!

Horrible. The manager made me cry. We got there 10 minutes past our reservation time (because it isn’t easy to find) and they said no problem! We sat down and ordered immediately - we got our starters within minutes and then it was a blank silent void from the servers. We were packed like Portuguese sardines in this restaurant. Every person around us got their starters and mains before the “show” started (aka the spinewy manager plucking at his playskool guitar) - obviously they forgot about our mains. An hour and 40 mins after we ordered, we politely told jack skeleton that we didn’t want our food and we just wanted to pay for our starters and leave. He berated my boyfriend and made me cry and then made us pay for the entire meal, even though the meal had yet to appear. He also said it was our fault we didn’t get our mains before he pretended to be Keith Richards because we arrived 10 minutes past our reservation time. He arrogantly and aggressively brought a time stamp out to show when we ordered and shoved it in my boyfriends nose like he was a dog that went through the trash. Utterly disgusting customer service and appalling human behavior. FADO? Moe then GADO f out of there.

The staff is tremendous and the show was enjoyable (note: they are very strict about being quiet during the show - it’s cultural!). The food was generally pretty good (enjoyed the mixed rice and the bacalhau as mains), but the dining room was extremely small and very poorly ventilated. They turn off the AC during performances too which makes the room very hot and sort of ruined our experience.

Lots to love here, but...
My wife and I had dinner here during a recent visit to Lisbon. We wanted to experience some authentic fado. The good: the food was excellent, surpassed only by the quality of the service from the waitresses, who were professional, charming and efficient. Same goes for the fado. Excellent! The owner and his son play Portuguese guitar, while a male and female vocalist sing. We absolutely enjoyed the performances.
The problem lies in the format. The performances begin as the guests are still having supper, yet the lights are dimmed to such a degree that you can't realistically keep eating, as you're no longer able to see anything on your plate. The performance goes on for about 20 minutes, then they stop, the lights come back on and the waitresses spring into action. By then our food was cold, and it was returned unfinished. 20ish minutes later, the fado began anew. This was presumably repeated several more times, but we left at the 2nd intermission.
The equally annoying issue was the requirement for TOTAL silence during performances, and as others have noted, that extends to the sound of your cutlery touching your plate. "Noises" that my wife and I hadn't even noticed were continually being shussed by the owner as he played. I wish he would realized that his constant shushing was way more distracting than the sound of cutlery or whispers. I can understand and respect the need and requirement for silence during a "concert", but this is a restaurant. Dinner and a show, as it were.
2 groups arrived and were seated just before the first performance. They were "shushed" several times as they tried to see the menu and discuss it with their group. They left... In my opinion, it would make more sense to wait until everyone has finished eating before beginning the performances.
Also please be aware, there is a minimum 40€ charge for dinner here. And it was significantly more including a bottle of wine.

tres cher. repas moyen. ne vaut pas le prix. Attention 60 euros vous sont facturés pour la prestation des chanteurs. Ce n est ecrit nul part. cela s ajoute a votre repas d environ 40 euros par personne pour entree plat auquel il faudra rajouté environ 8 euros pour le dessert. Sinon le Fado bien. on nous a plus que forcé à prendre un dessert.

Non si può passare da Lisbona senza aver assistito a uno spettacolo di fado. E così frugando fra articoli e recensioni ho trovato questo posto davvero magico. Abbiamo prenotato via mail dall'Italia e già in partenza é stato un dialogo fatto di cortesia e disponibilità. Una volta arrivati abbiamo trovato un posto davvero suggestivo e il tavolo accanto allo spettacolo (il posto migliore perché avevamo prenotato per primi!). Da lì in avanti è stato un susseguirsi di ottimo cibo, gentilezza ed emozioni! Il fado è struggente ed entusiasmante come si dice e assolutamente imperdibile! Un grazie davvero speciale a Bruno per la sua gentilezza e disponibilità ed andate a scoprire questo meraviglioso posto.

Zdecydowaliśmy się na tę restaurację z uwagi na muzykę fado. Zespół składał się z dwóch gitarzystów oraz trzech śpiewających solistów. Koncert podzielony był na cztery sesje: śpiewała pierwsza solistka, później solista, następnie kolejna solistka o niezwykłej ekspresji, a na końcu cała trójka artystów śpiewała razem. Soliści śpiewali po 3 lub 4 utwory, a w przerwach kelnerzy podawali dania. Koncert rozpoczął się o godzinie 21:00 i zakończył się około 23:00. Koncert fado oceniamy na 5 gwiazdek - było super!!!!!!!! Serwowane dania były przeciętne (np. bacalhau był mocno słony i utopiony w oliwie) co obniża ogólną ocenę. Przykładowe ceny: zupa 8€, danie główne od 25€, wino od 25€ za butelkę, piwo 4,5€. Uważajcie na brak możliwości płacenia kartą, wymaganą wcześniejszą rezerwację oraz limit zamówienia nie mniej niż 40€ od osoby. Wyszliśmy z restauracji bardzo zadowoleni.

Nous avons été charmé par le spectacle : 3 représentations de 15 mn avec 6 artistes différents, tous très bons, et une mise en scène
ça ressemble à une cave, Repas à la bougie, déco et ambiance très sympa.
Le point noir c'est la nourriture, pas mauvaise mais très moyenne... 40 eu par personne obligatoire et en espèces, ils vous préviennent à l'entrée... On est arrivés à 20h20 et on a eu une des dernières tables, il y a possibilité de réserver apparement..
Pour conclure, pour les non initiés au fado, l'alfama regorge de lieus plus accessibles en prix, avec du fado live, mais ici c'est un cran au dessus...

I don’t know much about Fado, but the show seemed very good! The problem was, the food was incredibly salty! I think this was the saltiest meal I have ever had, and it wasn’t necessary. Of course I ate it because I was so hungry by the time I got there. I couldn’t complain because the show was going on. Also it was hard to breathe in that tiny, packed space. Open a window! I would expect more for 40 euros per person.

An excellent environment, wonderful and personable service, good food and wine. Not cheap, but totally worth it given the outstanding quality of the fado. Was our first fado experience and to be honest my wife came along reluctantly. However we both were knocked out by the moving qualities and technical skills of all 5 singers and the two guitarists. The place is run by the two guitarists and their passion for the music and desire to make this a great experience infuses everything here. Our last night in Portugal and a most memorable one. Do it - but book in advance or you won't get in.

This place can only be described as an experience. The food is great. You have to remeber that every person must order minimum of 30 euro. The real treat is when the musicians enter the stage. The lights dim, smell of the overpriced porto You ordered hits You, the room goes quiet and the sounds of guitar and vocals take You to a journey through old Lisbon. Words cannot describe this place. Un local pequeño a rebosar de mesas, sin exagerar. Para sentarte tienes que estrujarte entre ellas, las cuales son pequeñas y no resultan cómodas. No está preparado para meter tantos clientes, tiene el techo muy bajo y es angosto, por lo que el ruido es ensorfecedor. Tardaron tanto en traer la comida que empezó el espectáculo y se nos enfrió. Tiene consumo mínimo de 30€/persona, lo cual se entiende porque se paga no sólo la cena, sino también el espectáculo, pero igualmente esperábamos una mayor calidad de cocina y unos precios menos desorbitados (27€ una cazuelita pequeña de bacalao asado que les quedó seco). No lo recomiendo.

Came here for Fado night! You need a reservation as the place only hold 52 people. We made them on Friday morning for a Sunday show.
Absolutely the best part of this place is the Fado music!! Two guitarists & three singers. The come and "battle" one set at a time and at the end, all are together (for a total of 4 sets).
Food was ok. I had the seafood salad and my husband had the veal. He said his was super tender. Mine was a bit greasy :( Waitress was very nice and at the end, they offered us a complimentary orange liquer.
All and all, it was an awesome experience. Our trip wouldn't have been complete without attending a Fado dinner :) Must do while in Portugal!!

The owner of our apartment recommended this place to us, and we were not disappointed. Have been there twice so far and really enjoyed ourselves both times. The food was excellent, and the music was exceptional. Three singers each evening accompanied by two fine guitarists. The staff are very friendly, service was good. We'll probably go back once more before we leave Lisbon.

Awesome Experience. Food was delicius but the magic happen when the light goes down and the guitarrist and singers starts to play and sing Fado. There was 3 rounds of music making the break within apetizer, first plate and desser having the best interval. Minimum money you have to spend is 30€ p.p. we spent in four 173€. Worth experience and money well spent.

Nice Fado place. Small, not to say claustrophobic (you get to know the people in the table next to you very well) . Definitely not geared for tourist (most people in there that night were portugués speaking) but they still treat tourists nicely. People here complained the food was overpriced - as I see it you don’t pay for the food which is mediocre at best , you pay for the Fado which is well worth it.

The fado was beautiful, and the setting felt like you were in someone's wine cave. The ceilings are low, which just added to the harmonics for the fado. The food was also quite delicious. The chairs were very uncomfortable. That is my only real qualm with the place. My butt hurt after the end of the night because I was packed in so tightly that I couldn't find a position to be comfortable in my hard chair.

Great fado but food was poor and well overpriced. I ordered the monkfish and got this watery rice with a little bits of fish and a couple of prawns; worst still it had no taste. My partner's dish of cod was mearly a cod with mostly cabbage leaves. There is so much good food in Lisbon and Portugal so this was a real expensive disappointment.

Certes un cadre correct, des serveuses plutot aimable mais 1h pour avoir une bouteille de vin et avoir un plat nul en comparaison des petits restau ou tous les plats sont a moins de 10e. Les aliments, rien de particulier.
Le gerant fait de la guitare pendant le fado, comme quoi on peut pas etre au boulot et la guitare.

Nice location to listen fado, prices very very high, but keep in mind that on the menu you pay the fado singers also. Food was good, but small portions. Very high prices on beverages.

Turist trap, over over priced. Wanted to ask if my main dish was interpreted as a starter,very small portion fullfilled by salad around..other dishes looked much more reasonable though...so avoid octopus, which is pity as it is supposed to be traditional dish..and 25eur for it,frankly too much. Fado has been very nice, I guess we pay for it in the menu.

Ambiente cuidado y buenos fados. Lugar íntimo, acogedor y entrañable. La experiencia ha sido muy buena. La comida normal y cara, se cobran la música. Los 2 músicos y los 2 cantantes jóvenes, muy talentosos. Muy recomendable. Imprescindible reservar.

20.02.16 - Sehr gute Fado Musik mit gemütlicher Atmosphäre in den Kellerräumen mit guter englischsprachiger Bedienung.
Aber das Essen und die Preise dafür gehen absolut überhaupt nicht!
Meine Freundin hatte ein Steak mit Ei drauf und ein wenig Salat.
Das sah aus wie aus einem Imbiss hingeklatscht. Total blasses Fleisch als wäre es gekocht. Und dafür ca. 30€.
Wir saßen zu viert am Tisch mit einem Pärchen das wir kennengelernt hatten. Sie bestellten sich Couvert - also Brot mit Olivendipp zum vor naschen und das kostete schon einmal Pauschal 2,50€ pro Person.
Obwohl wir dies nicht angerührt haben.
Meine Fischgericht mit "Monkfish" und allerlei Meeresgedöns war das einzige Gericht welches mit ca. 30€ in Ordnung war.
Es gab eine gute Weinkarte wobei die Preise so dermaßen überteuert waren. Haben uns für den selben "green wine" entschieden den wir auch im Supermarkt für ca. 5€ gekauft haben. Nur hier für ca. 25€.
Als Nachspeise wurde uns das typisch portugisische "sweet rice" Gericht empfohlen. Es ist unser erster Portugal Besuch gewesen und es war uns nicht klar das es einfach schlecht gemachter Milchreis ist. Wenig süß mit hartem Reis und mit zwei Teelöffeln leer gefuttert. Dafür ca. 6,50€.
Wir kamen auf über 100€ für zwei Personen mit 2xHauptgang, 2xNachspeise, 1xWeinflasche achso und die Vorspeise ^^
Die Preise haben uns den Abend verdorben und wir sind wahrhaftig nicht geizig im Urlaub.

Si vas a escuchar fado, muy buen sitio. Para FADO excelente. En cuanto a la cena, normal y los precios hinchados para para pagar el espectáculo. Sales por 40 euros por persona, si cenas normal sin postre. Si tengo que llevar a alguien a escuchar FADO iría de nuevo.

A éviter: Serveuse pas aimable du tout, rapport qualité/prix très mauvais, 110 euros pour 2 avec entrées, plats et 1/2 bouteille de vin rouge. Nourriture basique, petites sardines
Chaudes en entrée (18 euros!!!) et poissons en plat principal (28 euros) et pas vraiment génial.
Nous n'avons pas pris les desserts et les cafés et avons préféré de finir la soirée ailleurs, alors que le restaurant nous avait été recommandé par notre hôtel. Vraiment très déçu par ce restaurant.
Les musiciens et chanteurs de fado étaient bons et restaurant propre et joli.
to avoid: Waitress not friendly at all, quality/price very bad, 110 euros for 2 people: 1st course, main courses and 1/2 bottle of red wine. basic food, sardines for 1st course (18 euros !!!) and fish for main course (28 euros) and not really great.
We did not have desserts and coffee because we have preferred to finish the evening elsewhere, while the restaurant was recommended by our hotel. Very disappointed by this restaurant.
Musicians and fado singers were good and clean and pretty restaurant.

Encantador. Fomos atendidos pela Carla com uma simpatia caseira. Os donos tocam com amor para fadistas que ficam entre o triste, o alegre e o engraçado sem perder o tom. A comida é boa. Recomendo a todos.

It's difficult to find a restaurant with great food that provides fado music to tourists we were told. This place combines both as it has been recommended to us by our local hosts. The two owners played the guitar, sang fado with the fadonistas, meanwhile attending to the guests.

Le service pourrait être fait avec un poil plus d'amabilité mais sinon ils parlent anglais, français, italien... La musique et pas mal du tout, ce soir là nous avons eue, une jeune femme, un jeune homme et une femme mature mais quelle voix !!! par contre armez vous de patience, pas de service pendant les tours de chants, mais cela rempli bien les estomacs, et un conseil : en dessert évitez la mousse, ou la crème brûlée, mais prenez plutôt les glaces !

COMIDA: Entradas fracas, sopas a um preço elevadíssimo em relação a qualidade (6€), pratos principais saborosos mas com pouca quantidade (25-30€), sobremesas industriais (7€) e vinho caro (35€ media)!

Óptima noite! Desde o jantar até à música. Muita interacção. O momento da desgarrada foi magistral. O ambiente é acolhedor. O preço manteve-se dentro das expectativas e não foi exagerado dada a qualidade da refeição e dos músicos presentes! Definitivamente, um local a regressar!

Muito Bom! 3 Fadistas durante a noite a cantar no meio do público, muita interacção.
E não esquecer, a comida estava óptima, comi uma espetada de lulas que estava espectacular.
