Best curry...in the world! Been a few times but only just discovered a black pepper based special...amazeballs

Lovely restaurant, amazing food and plenty of it! The staff are welcoming and friendly, we will definitely be eating there again.

Inaceitável o que se passou neste estabelecimento. Fui com a minha família jantar e reservamos através de uma app que nos daria um desconto. Quando chegamos ao local o emprego/ patrão demonstrou logo o seu desagrado, dizendo que teríamos de esperar. Depois de nos atribuir mesa atirou literalmente para cima da mesma as ementas. Passado algum tempo de estarmos à espera que acabassem de colocar os talheres e pratos, coisa que nunca aconteceu e de o empregado passar por nós e virar a cara perguntamos se iriam continuar a proceder dessa forma ou se queria que fôssemos embora. Qual o nosso espanto quando nos disseram que sim, que gostariam que nos fôssemos embora. Não sabia que o desconto da app, desconto esse que é o restaurante que aplica, tinha uma cláusula em que permita que os clientes fossem maltratados. Uma vergonha, quanto à comida não sei pois saímos antes de sermos servidos. Não aconselho a ninguém!!!

Net vanavond hier gegeten. Echt heel erg lekker, en zeer goed advies gekregen.komen elk jaar in Albufeira, en gaan hier zeer zeker vaker eten. Ook fijn dat je kan parkeren voor de deur.

Great food. We chose take away dinner twice in 10 days. Basic decor and doesn't seem as busy, but had better flavours than the neighbouring flashy Tandoori restaurant.

Really nice food but needs an upgrade! We were coming here two days ago but were lured away by the classy look of Clay Oven. Their food was nice. The food here was really nice but the looks let it down. Dirty menus! Good customer service as well. Lovely. Almost perfect!

Some of the best food I've had and the staff were kinder than in any other restaurant I've been in. The food was just incredible, what more can i say? It could be exactly as spicy or mild as you wanted, it was served quickly and the staff were some of the most polite human beings I have ever met so I can't fathom how anyone is saying they were rude. This is a message to the liar who said he found fungus in his rice: Was it because you ordered the rice and mushrooms?

After carefully considering reviews from both Mother India and Clay Oven (which has far more reviews), we decided to go for the more basic venue. The place looked clean, the toilets were in order. The host was friendly and children were accommodated well. Poppadoms were served with the usual condiments, but the onions were mixed with too much chilli powder. As I don't believe that chilli powder is necessary to make things spicy as it overpowers the taste of the food, I was worried that chilli powder would be used in our mains as well, but that was luckily not the case. We ordered Goa Fish Curry and Manchurian Chicken with Pilao rice. Both dishes were very nice and quite spicy (no chilli powder used). The taste was good, but had better elsewhere to be honest. The bill was reasonable and the children got a balloon and candy.

Lovely meal here with a friend had the chicken tikka massala with paneer and a side of mushroom rice with the cheese garlic bread and my friend had the madras all great meals. Great staff was a great india for our holiday away and we picked it due to the reviews already on trip advisor and weren't disappointed.

Just eaten at this restaurant and it was lovely. We have been going past it for a while in favour of the Clay oven, but now the queues are long there,we decided to finally try Mother India, and we were glad we did.! Welcoming staff, tasty authentic Indian menu, best peshwari naan that I've had in a long while. Would recommend you try this place

Visited twice now I cannot believe people cram into the clay oven next door.this is so friendly and roomy great food and terrific friendly service all what's left to say is thank you for a terrific eating experience.

Just ate at this so called mother India restaurant, we're Asian, so know what indian food should taste like. Where do I start? Ordered 2 popadoms, they were stale, no sooner we started to eat, chicken tikka arrived which we requested we wanted as a main with the saag paneer, tikka was cold and disgusting, saag paneer was ok, naan was thick and tasted uncooked. Nearly all the food was left uneaten. When I explained to the waiter that the food was unsatisfactory, he wasn't interested and blamed it on the air conditioning. WHAT A JOKE!!! Customer service very poor, waiters not once asked if food was ok, or if we needed anything else, no customer service skills at all, actually explains why the place was practically empty!! Nothing good about our experience in this so called restaurant, don't rate it at all, had no choice but to give it one star as I couldn't get on the page otherwise.

Excellent Indian restaurant. Family of four really enjoyed the choice on the menu and the service. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastisk matupplevelse. Först när vi gick förbi Clay Oven trodde vi att det möjligtvis skulle vara godare mat där, då vi utgick från utseende på restaurangerna. Men vi valde att äta på Mother India. Allting var perfekt!

Comida boa e simpatia no atendimento. Gosto mais de comida indiana do sul (Goa etc.) mais picante. Aqui a maior parte dos pratos têm uma preponderância adocicada, mas são bons.

Food is good and staff friendly and attentive. Rice was poor but lamb madras was excellent. Would go back again.

Freundliche Bedienung, extrem leckere Gerichte. Der Nachbartisch mit Engländern flippt regerecht aus, weil es so lecker ist. Verständlich. Meine Empfehlung!
