Ein Restaurant mit ausgezeichneter Portugiesischer Küche.. Frischer Fisch ist selbstverständlich ein traumhafter Blick auf den Atlantik mit schöner Terrasse. Ob Portugiesisch, Englisch Französisch oder Deutsch der Inhaber ist in der Lage alles zu verstehen. War im letzten Jahr mehrmals im Jahr und fühlte mich herzlich willkommen.
Abseits der Touristen Restaurants finden man hier seinen Rückzugspunkt mit leckeren Speisen und Getränke.

The food is very very good . Great choices and the way its prepared with the spices and wine, just melts in your mouth. There was five of us and each one of or dishes were supreme.
The deserts were out of this world.
And the atmosphere and view of the ocean are excellent.
Great service and very friendly owners.
One of th best restaurants in Albufeira.

Meilleur restaurant testé pendant notre séjour, le poulpe est incroyable, le saumon fond dans la bouche, les crevettes a l'ail sont délicieusement assaisonnées. Sans conteste le Meilleur restaurant testé a Albufeira, le personnel parle le français et est tres convivial, a tester sans attendre !

Intieme plek op korte afstand van de drukte van het oude centrum. Goed eten, vriendelijk personeel. De kaart bevat meer visgerechten, maar ook voor de vleesliefhebber is er genoeg keuze. Wij komen hier graag.

Got a tip from my travel agency to eat here. It was good. Had the cataplan seadevil (included mixed sea food) which was really tasteful. My friend had the salmon which tasted also good but had some fish bones in it. The soup of the day was tasteless but it was not expensive. Prices were okay (not cheap and not expensive).

Heerlijk gegeten in de restaurant. We hebben de vis cataplana voor 2 personen genomen. Tip: het is niet zo vullend. Het is aan te raden om of een voorgerecht of een dessert te nemen.

Excellent food and very friendly and helpful staff. They were great when I visited with my 18 month old son and family. There is a lovely view down to the sea too.

Lieu charmant avec une vue remarquable ! Ombragé par des arbres divers : un olivier, un figuier... fleuri et d un calme incomparable surtout par rapport aux restaurants près de la plage.
Cuisine de grande qualité, préparée sur le moment, avec des produits frais.
Je recommande chaudement ce restaurant. La petite montée depuis la plage en vaut largement le coup !

Ich liebe dieses Restaurant. Wir waren vor 20 Jahren schon dort und die Qualität und das Ambiente ist nach wie vor herrlich. Die cataplana ist sehr zu empfehlen ein landestypisches essen in einem genau so genannten zinntopf mit reis serviert. Ein Eintopf aus Muscheln schwein Tomaten und herrlichen Gewürzen. Man kann den wundervollen Blick über das Meer beim Essen genießen und trotz dem dass das Restaurant auch in den Reiseführern mittlerweile vermerkt ist und wirklich viel los ist fühlt man sich nicht wie bei der Massenabfertigung. Auch für Kinder wird tolles Essen angeboten und auch eine große Vielfalt an Desserts gibt es.

Das Hühnchen Piri Piri kann ich nicht empfehlen. War sehr trocken. Der Mojito war gut und auch der Seebarsch war gut. Bier haben sie leider nur Spanisches, was im Gegensatz zu Super Bock doch eher wässrig schmeckt. Die Kellnerin wirkte auch nicht gerade freudig erregt über ihre Aufgabe.

Sehr nette Bedienung, sehr gute Speisen, frischer Fisch vom Grill. Von der schattigen Terrasse ein herrlicher Blick auf das Meer. Etwas abgelegen vom touristischen Overkill, preislich moderat. Sehr empfehlenswert!

vanavond op advies van hostess tui Irma hier gegeten. we kregen daarom een witte Port van de zaak, was erg lekker van smaak. Wij hadden het gerecht cataplan vis voor 2 personen genomen. we hadden dit gerecht nog nooit gegeten. wat een super heerlijk gerecht en volgens Portugese traditie bereid in een koperenpan.

Maravilloso lugar. Comida exquisita, muy amables el servicio con el público, decoración impresionante y unas vistas espectaculares. Del 1 al 10 un 10 sin duda. No lo dejes pasar. Tomé cataplana de marisco y pescado y estaba excelente, al igual que el helado.

Lieu un peu excentré du centre qui donne un ambiance plus intime avec une belle vue sur la mer.
Les serveurs sont très agréables. De bons produits y sont servis. Je recommande fortement.

Great service and very friendly servers. Slightly tucked away from the bustling area but has a fabulous view of the ocean. Fresh seafood and heavenly homemade dessert! It took a little while for them to replace my wine when a big fell into it but I didn’t mind. Enjoy the slow pace while vacationing!

Garlic bread is nice but wouldn't recommend the tomato soup. The staff are friendly and gave my dad a free meal when he found a slug in his lettuce!

Leuk restaurant boven in het heuvelachtige oude gedeelte van Albufeira. Het eten is lekker en er is voldoende keuze echter wel aan de prijs. Wij moesten voor 4 personen (alleen hoofdgerecht en 3x dessert + één fles water en één pilsje) €65 afrekenen. Je krijgt hiervoor wel een schitterend uitzicht en erg lekkere biefstuk.

An awesome spot with the view, good service and prices. The local cocktail was loaded
- we were a group of 6 (paid 120€ total with wine / cocktails / and main dishes only, no apps) had a great time. It gets chilly though so dress warm for that cold evening breeze.
- the menu is loaded with meat / fish options but the salad selection is little.
- the fries with piri-piri honey glazed chicken were not homemade. They need to beef up their side steamed veggies to compensate. The chicken was delicious.
- the sirloin steak was good. A bit tough but it's what you expect from that cut.
- the fish was fresh and the chef cleans the bones for easy consumption.
Would come again to try more fish.

Awesome spot away from tourist crowds 5min walk from tunnel. Great view on top of the cliff overlookong the Atlantic! Sparkling Sangria Amazing! Hit it around 4-5pm HH from 3-6!!! Monkfish Cataplana for dinner OMG!!

Love this restaurant
Great food, lovely friendly staff.
Beautiful setting and views, have dined here as a couple and also for a family meal..perfect.
Just one downside...the seabass was so perfectly cooked and tasty, there's no point in trying it elsewhere, so we are going to have to go back next year, yet again fabulous place, so glad we stumbled by it a couple of years ago ❤

Un peu excentré du centre ville le restaurant offre un cadre magnifique sans pour autant être très loin.
Terrasse sublime avec vue panoramique sur la mer loin du brouhah de la vie nocturne.
Service chaleureux aux petits soins et les plats proposés sont typiques et non pas anglais ...
La cataplana et la sangria sont un délice!

Been here 3 years ago and it was just as good. A little more expensive than down town but the setting in a small court yard is lovely. Excellent well cooked food. I had the veal which was very tender.

Il ristorante è in centro, ma fuori dal caos. Ha una terrazza con vista sul mare e non è affollato, così abbiamo potuto godere in pace della vista e del buon cibo. Personale gentilissimo e simpatico. Prezzi onesti! Abbiamo preso ottimi branzino e tonno, acqua, euro 32.50. Ci hanno anche offerto un bicchierino di Porto. Consigliatissimo!

Llevamos yendo a ese restaurante 4 años seguidos. Ayer nos pareció como que habían cambiado de dueño. Al principio tardaron una barbaridad en tomarnos nota, luego las cervezas también tardaron en ponerlas. Cuando presagiabamos un adebacle total la comida salió rápido y estaba la verdad muy buena. Anécdota, había una persona qué pensábamos que era el dueño que estaba negro con el meter y con los camareros. Se les veía sin sangre. La cocina que se veía desde donde estábamos estaba como ralentizada.

Een verborgen pareltje, nét iets buiten de drukke toeristen straatjes. Prachtige tuin in het hoger gelegen terras met uitzicht over zee. Aardig, Engels sprekend personeel, lekker en betaalbaar eten, voor ieder wat wils. Wij komen hier zeker terug !!

Echt een oase van rust in het drukke Albufeira. Sfeer volle ambiance met uitzicht op zee. Tussen de fruitboomgaard en verlichting werd ons een heerlijk diner voorgeschoteld. Vlees en vis met een ruime keus aan desserts. Prima sangria, oude wijnen en port. Perfecte service en vriendelijk personeel. Een 10 met een griffel.

Ein sehr schöner Ort. Stimmungsvolles Restaurant, auch wegen der charmanten Raumgestaltung ergibt sich eine tolle Atmosphäre. Einen "richtigen" Meerblick, der unglaublich schön ist, hat man nur direkt gegenüber des Strandes. Aber auch weiter weg kann man es erahnen.
Wir waren im Juni 2019 drei mal hier, zwei mal hat alles geklappt, einmal war das Personal überfordert, weil der entscheidende Mann offenbar frei hatte. Doch das Essen war jedes Mal hervorragend.
Leider gab es nur ein einfaches Bier. Schade, es schmeckte einfach nicht. Wegen der aufmerksamen und freundlichen Bedienung, des guten Essens und der fairen Preise vergebe ich trotz der 2 Einschränkungen aus Überzeugung 5 Sterne = sehr empfehlenswert.

Le meilleur restaurant dans lequel j'ai pu manger à Albufeira pendant mon séjour !
Serveurs très sympathiques, souriants et drôles !
Les plats étaient très bons, prix vraiment accessibles le plus cher étant à 20 euros, nous avons pris une soupe en entrée pour maximum 4 euros et c'était toujours aussi bon !
En conclusion restaurant avec un excellent rapport qualité prix, une vue parfaite sur l'océan dans son patio fleuri, avec des serveurs parfaits !

By far the best food we had in Portugal. We had the chicken Piri Piri which was great BUT the monk fish cataplana was to die for! Anthony the manager was so accommodating and so nice. All around a great dining experience !!!

We've been going to this family run restaurant for 26 years - they must be doing something right! The staff are lovely and very friendly. The terrace is gorgeous overlooking the ocean and the food is wonderful. Our favourites are the rack of lamb, beef portuguese and honey roasted chicken piri piri. A little gem tucked away in the cobbled streets of the old town. Highly recommend you find it!

Ein sehr schönes Lokal mit Meerblick und romantischer Terrasse. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Sehr zu empfehlen ist das Lammkarree. Die anderen Gerichte sind auf normalem Niveau. Wir waren in unserem Urlaub mehrfach in diesem Lokal und wurden vom Personal wiedererkannt.

Ristorante con terrazza all'aperto e vista sul mare. Non è vicino al centro di Albufeira ma non è semplice trovare parcheggio (almeno in agosto)
Offre piatti tipici della tradizione portoghese.

Well maybe we were unlucky on the night but we did not have a great experience ...The food itself wasn't bad but the service was poor forgot our drinks got some of the order wrong missing potatoes and side salad never arrived there were ants on the tables and for a traditional place all deserts were frozen nestle type wont be going back again

Surtout, OSEZ franchir les 80 mètres qui vous séparent de l'hypercentre touristique pour atteindre ce restaurant dont l'entrée, dissimulée, cache un repère de qualité tant au niveau du service que des plats.
Vu sur mer depuis la terrasse. Personnel aux petits soins et aux conseils avisés, prenant plaisir à vous orienter vers leurs spécialités. Les produits sont frais et parfaitement cuisinés.

We stumbled across this restaurant on a walk along the upper shore whilst keeping an eye out for eating, a more traditional place with a good menu choice. The food was superb, the atmosphere friendly and personal, so much better than the cattle market of eateries down in the main tourist haunt, ideal for a good peaceful relaxing dinner with a sea view from the elevated outside table area (inside dinning also). reasonably busy but never had to book, but would recommend booking to guarantee to front tables over looking the sea. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Enjoy!
