Un lieu reposant et agréable. Les serveurs sont souriants et attentionnés, les plats sont bons et généreux. Nous avons pris 2 menus et avons même eu du mal à finir tellement les portions sont généreuses...
Une demi bouteille de vin du domaine, le serveur arrive avec une grande bouteille et me dit que si on en boit un peu plus c est pas grave, c est pour la maison!!! Bref, un lieu a ne pas manquer si vous êtes du côté de silves ou de lagoa!!!

Das Essen war gut. Leider endete der Abend sehr unschön. Der Besitzer war nicht bereit, die Rechnung aufzuteilen, obwohl wir bei der Bestellung darum gebeten hatten. Er wurde dann sehr ausfallend und beleidigend und verwies uns des Restaurants. Wir kommen bestimmt nicht wieder.

Gostei do restaurante. Poderia estar um pouquinho mais quente pois a noite estava muito fria. Comida é boa mas os preços são um exagero. Já comi melhor e por menos isto falando de restaurantes semelhantes. O stuff é atencioso.

Just had a dinner at this place. For the past 15 days in Portugal we ate at many different restaurants and most of them were good to very good. But without hesitation I have to give the first spot to Barradas. Most delicious authentic Portuguese food, first class service and beautiful garden to eat outside. Pure GEM.

Such great food, service! There were 6 of us, everyone's food was amazing, everything from sea bass to lamb stew was great. However the John Dory stole the show! It lightly breaded and super crisp and flaky. Perfect! Great local wine that they make in their vineyards!

My fiancee and I are staying nearby and were recommended to visit here and boy oh boy were we glad!
The service was amazing, the food was out of this world.
Lovely outside setting with live guitar and fabulous wine make for a romantic dining experience!
You have to try the fish as it is as fresh as it comes!
We are on a short break so unfortunately only had the opportunity to dine twice.
I had a veal cutlet on our second visit. This was incredible too :-)
The owner even gave us a lift home!
Now that is service..
If you are staying nearby don't entertain anywhere else for food.

Wij hadden vooraf gereserveerd voor ons feestje met 10 man, waarvan 4 kleine kinderen. Fantastische locatie, bediening, selectie wijnen en gerechten. Heerlijke verse vis, met zorg en veel smaak bereid, het eten begeleidt met gitaar en zang. En het lactose en gluten probleem bleek totaal géén probleem, er waren doorldeenvoudig alternatieven voorbereid. Kortom....een plek om in je boekje op te schrijven en naar terug te keren...gewéldig en zeer tevreden

I'll be short on this. Its one of my 10 best restaurants I ever visited and I go around the world quite a bit and being cautious where I eat. Food amazing and service is out of this world. New glass of wine doesn't take more then 60sec to arrive and you don't even feel the waitress is around you. They even called a taxi of their own standard who met us in the restaurant and showed a way to his taxi. I mean come on, not even limo driver will do this for you.

Das Essen und der selbstproduzierte Wein waren fantastisch. Das Personal zuvorkommen und sehr nett. Der Aussenbereich unter den Bäumen schon beinahe kitschig romantisch und die Preise dem gebotenen durchaus angemessen. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen.

I travel a lot and eat in many really good restaurants around the world. I can assure you that the service from this restaurant is second to none. I was treated with complete respect and attentiveness. All the waiters and waitresses are very well trained and very professional and kind. The food is simply out of this world fresh and well prepared. The atmosphere, oh the atmosphere is so unique. The yard leading to the front entrance is absolutely charming. I met really nice people from Northern Europe here and we chatted while dining. Come here if you want something really special.

Mention spéciale à Luis, le propriétaire, pour son service impeccable et sa passion qui se ressent à des miles à la ronde et à toute l’équipe qui a rendu cette soirée mémorable.
Le lieu est magnifique, situé sur le vignoble, le service est irréprochable et la présentation des plats très satisfaisante. Un amalgame fort appréciable pour les épicuriens que nous sommes!
Le vin de la maison est sublime (nous avons bu le Reserva) et que dire des plats qui nous ont été servis. Autant viande que fruits de mer étaient à la perfection.
Rendez-vous à cette adresse les yeux fermés, vous serez charmés. C’est la passion de la bonne bouffe qui définie le mieux cet endroit!

Ein wirklicher "Geheimtipp". Wobei geheim bei der Anzahl der vielen Gäste sicher nicht mehr ganz zutrifft. In einem wunderschön angelegten Garten kann man bei reelen Preisen hervorragende Gerichte (Achtung - grosse Portionen) geniessen. Der Geschmack ist fein, die Kombinationen der Zutaten manchmal ungewöhnlich und dennoch gut aufeinander abgestimmt. Hilfsbereites Personal (gutes Englisch und auch Deutsch) und stimmungsvolle Live-Musik. Sehr zu empfehlen - ein rundum gelungener und harmonischer Abend.
Wie zuvorkommend das Personal ist, konnte, ich an einer kleinen Szene sehen: Eine gepflegte Katze, die offensichtlich zum Restaurant gehört, ging an einem Tisch vorbei an, dem ein 3-jähriges Kind sass. Als das Mädchen die Katze vom Tisch aus streicheln wollte, hob ein Kellner nach Zustimmung der Mutter das Tier hoch, so dass das Kind seine Freude hatte. Das hat nicht nur dem kleinen Mädchen ein Lächeln aufs Gesicht gezaubert.

Nog steeds 1 van de toprestaurants in de Algarve. A la carte geweldig, vlees, vis of vega, en ruim keus voor mensen die glutenvrij of lactose vrij in hun dieet hebben.
Op dit moment heeft het restaurant een aardig menu met 3 gangen onder 25 (per persoon) op de kaart heeft staan. (Excl.drankjes)

Gisterenavond hier op advies van een kennis gegeten. Voor touristen; je moet hiervan weten anders kom je hier niet op uit. Wat een ongelofelijke sfeer! De obers zijn onwijs vriendelijk en maken graag een lolletje met je. Bediening erg snel en geven goed advies. En dan het eten.. Wij hebben onze hele vakantie in Albufeira niet zo lekker gegeten als bij dit restaurant. Vis is die dag vers gevangen en ongelofelijk lekker bereid. Vanaf Albufeira hebben wij er ongeveer 20 minuten over gereden en dit was het ook zeker waard! Als wij ooit nog naar Portugal Algarve gaan, zullen we dit restaurant 100% weer bezoeken. Wij hebben hier een geweldige avond gehad met heerlijk eten als top afsluiter van onze vakantie!

If you visit the Algarve region in Portugal, you must visit this restaurant. Book in advance and enjoy a lovely evening in the garden. Food is excellent, specially the fish. Always fresh simply cooked to keep all the natural flavours. And keep some space cor the desserts, a mix between traditional portuguese with a touch of european approach. The price is fair - even low - if you consider that Algarve in summer is no longer a cheap place to be on holidays.

This place is expensive but the courtyard dining is romantic and cosy, the service is excellent, and the food is fresh and delicious. If you're looking for a special place and a memorable meal while you're in the Algarve, this could be it. Be prepared to pay 30 euros each for their fresh fish options.

Afgelopen week hier 3 maal wezen eten. Erg vriendelijke bediening. Goed advies over eten, heerlijke wijnen en andere dranken. Dagelijks keuze uit diverse verse vissoorten. Een sfeervol restaurant op een mooie locatie. Vinho Verde van het eigen huismerk is een aanrader.

What a fantastic place to dine out. Out of many restaurants that we have been to on holiday in Portugal this is the only place that had some kind of music + it was live. The atmosphere is awesome and service is at the best. I have enjoyed everything there. The food was delicious and tasty. The bill was a bit higher than usual but everything worth it.

Ein wirklich gutes Lokal etwas abseits von Silves. Der Service war sehr freundlich und sprachgewandt, hat aber stellenweise Fehler gemacht bei der Bestellung und Abrechnung. Das Essen (viele Fischgerichte und den Lammeintopf probiert) von recht guter Qualität. Allerdings probiert man hier - auch preislich - in einer Kategorie mitzuspielen, für die es meines Erachtens noch nicht ganz reicht. Vier Sterne - gut und gerne. Für fünf müsste es - gemessen am für lokale Verhältnisse etwas höherem Preisniveau - noch ein wenig besser (mutiger, unikater) sein.

Niet mijn beste eetervaring ooit. Wel een groep enthousiaste, vriendelijke obers die goede service verleenden. Over het eten: Het voorgerecht garnalen was compleet bedolven onder cocktail saus waardoor het graven was naar de ananas en garnalen - niet erg lekker dus. Het hoofdgerecht smaakte prima (lamsvlees). Het dessert was beneden (mijn) verwachting. Chocolade mousse met in port gedrenkte vijgen. In de praktijk was dit 1 vijf terwijl ik er wel graag meer had gehad. Kortom, mooie plek, vriendelijke bediening, eten had wat mij betreft beter gekund.

Espaço muito agradável, dentro duma propriedade, onde se encontram igualmente as vinhas que dão origem ao premiado, como melhor vinho do Algarve, Quinta do Barradas. Luís, o proprietário e fantástico anfitrião, simples, conversador, antigo "hippy" dos anos 80/90 e muito simpático, é com a mulher, a alemã Andrea, o motor impulsionador deste restaurante, que se pode quase comparar com uma casa particular, com cozinha, 1 sala com lareira, um alpendre, uma sala da adega, cujo subsolo é precisamente onde se encontra a adega, vasta e rica. Esta sala está aberta para uma piscina. Andrea é a chefe da cozinha e responsável pela beleza e organização do local. Preços honestos para o espaço e qualidade dos produtos. Peixe selvagem fresquíssimo, com um preço algo elevado, mas honesto pela excelência do pescado. Sobremesas fantásticas. Vinho estupendo. Comemos cherne, entradas, vinho e café por cerca de €80. Staff todo ele, muito eficiente e simpático. Clientela maioritariamente estrangeira.

The best 'feel' about this wonderful restaurant is that you are treated like a really special guest. Attentive service without being intrusive.

Not easy to find in the dark so make a check on the location during the day.
I guarantee you will not be disappointed as their standards are set high. Brilliant value price-wise too.

The restaurant was extremely good. The staff were welcoming, friendly and provided excellent advice on both food and wine. We chose fish as recommended by our waiter, red snapper for me, turbot for the others, and were not disappointed. The whole evening was excellent.

First of all the terrace outside is awesome. Feels like a secret garden :) interior inside is also very cute . Attracts very nice crowd there. Food was also delicious . Lamb stew was my favorite (I don't eat seafood so can't judge on that side). Our table ordered all desserts and our most favorite was crembrule :))) 5/5 and the service was also fantastic!

The simplest but BEST of ingredients cooked to the highest of standards letting the flavours and textures speak for themselves. The house speciality of lamb stew is to die for!!
Regarding their wines.. again a superb selection but please, please try their house rosé, you won't get a better true rosé anywhere.

We hebben hier echt heerlijk gegeten. Zonder reserveren was het helaas niet mogelijk om in de binnentuin te zitten (we waren met 8 personen), maar ook binnen was het goed vertoeven. De bediening was uitzonderlijk goed, vriendelijk en gastvrij: service with a smile. Een aanrader is de huiswijn welke door het restaurant zelf geproduceerd wordt!

5 Sterne gibt es von uns. Perfektes Ambiente, grossartiges Essen, toller Service! Ganz besonders zu empfehlen ist der Thunfisch. Kinder sind auch willkommen. In unserem Urlaub bis jetzt sicherlich das beste Restaurant. Allerdings etwas höheres Preisniveau. Ohne Auto und Navi schwer zu finden.

Nous cherchions un restaurant typique dans un cadre agréable pour fêter les 16 ans de l'un de nos enfants et nous avons bien fait de choisir O Barradas
Le cadre est superbe, le service impeccable et les plats sont copieux et délicieux.
J'avais simplement précisé au téléphone que nous souhaitions fêter un anniversaire et ils ont tout fait pour garder la surprise jusqu'à amener un gâteau avec bougie et alors même que la serveuse nous avait fait choisir un dessert à la carte !
Ils nous proposé de repartir avec le reste du gâteau !
Bref un endroit à recommander

Amazing location !!!! Sunset under a beautiful garden and warm and friendly atmosphere. Great wine , we ordered the house wine which was very good. Fish is fresh and delicious. Also the entrees and the deserts are worth a try.

Magnifique adresse...
Le cadre est somptueux sous des oliviers et figuiers centenaires.
Les plats sont délicieux (mention pour la tarte au chèvre et figues et le poisson Pajot grillé au feu de bois).
Et le final : les vins du vignoble sans doute dans les tout meilleurs de l'Algarve à prix caviste (15€ le blanc).
Nous y sommes retournés 2 fois pendant notre séjour.
Par contre, pensez à réserver !

Sehr schönes Ambiente, phantastische Speisen und Weine. Das ist der perfekte Ort für einen schönen Abend. Besonders zu empfehlen der Thunfisch. Auf Empfehlung des Küchenchefs, war einfach nur lecker.

Ein kulinarisches Feuerwerk bei perfektem Ambiente. Tipp: St. Petersfisch oder Lammfilet mit Minze. Eine optimale Bewirtung verfeinert das unglaublich leckere Essen und rundet den Besuch zu einem perfekten Abend ab. Wer nicht mit eigenem Auto kommt, kann sich über eine tolle Weinauswahl freuen. Preis / Leistung harmonieren sehr gut. Schade, dass unser Urlaub zu Ende geht und wir nur zwei Mal dort waren. Das Restaurant ist sicher ein großes Argument für den nächsten Portugalurlaub. Reservierung ist hilfreich. Das Flair der Außenbereiche ist einfach super..

Restaurant chic. Plats internationaux et portugais. Excellents produits bio, poissons sauvages aux goûts oubliés, carte des vins portugais fabuleuse, patrons passionnés (lui est vigneron elle tient les fourneaux) et terrasse ombragée sous des arbres centenaires. A ne pas rater.
