Absolute gem of a find in amongst, let's face it, some poor tourist trap restaurants. Incredible food, cocktails and service all round from the staff who even had a bit of banter about them!

Really good food here on the beach. The meat kebab was delicious and large. Would suit two if have a small appetite
Fish here is also amazing.

Dined here with another couple Feb. 2019. Service was attentive, helpful and professional. Menu offered wide selection of dishes at moderate prices and good wine list. All four mains (salmon, spare ribs, steak, grilled octopus) were very well prepared and tasty. Caesar salad very large, easily shared. No room for desserts. With two bottles of wine came to 100 Euros. We plan to return. JB Ottawa

Tydligen helt nya ägare. Har inte varit här förut men kommer definitivt tillbaka. Jättegullig personal som gav en familjär och välkomnande känsla. Mycket god mat!

Not very nice food .waiters rude not help full.dont get a glass of house white wine tasted like it could have been leftovers slops, very sweet and corked.would I recommend the place no stay away . After dinner port, was it ?

In einer Seitengasse, also nicht direkt im Trubel, haben wir dieses sehr schön eingerichtete Restaurant gefunden. Die Bedienung war super nett und aufmerksam. Wir hatten eine Pizza und eine Fischsuppe bestellt. Beides war top und das bei einem wirklich guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

We ate here last night. Shared the Algarve Cataplana with a friend. The dish was amazing. The servers were wonderful, i think we met everyone who works here. Very friendly once we initiated conversation. This a local family run place that offers great food at good value.

Really liked this restaurant, it had lots of tasty options. My friend had the ribs and thought they were gorgeous. I had the burger and thought it amazing with the best wedges I’ve tried. Waiters very friendly and talkative. Not a great deal of vegetarian options. Just pizza and a pasta. My friend had the pizza and didn’t thought it lacked sauce. Sangria was really tasty too. Probably too tasty.

No está mal, pero se espera más por precio ya que es algo más caro. Pedí un plato de atún que vino muy bien decorado con sus mejillones por encima y una cama de sofrito. El atún bastante seco, era filetón en bloque, la guarnición bastante rica.

W restauracji zajęte było 5 stolików. Ok. 30 minut Po złożeniu zamówienia, podano zupę z ryb - pozytywne zaskoczenie - dobra. Niestety to był koniec dobrych informacji. Po kolejnej godzinie i zwróceniu uwagi kelnerowi na czas oczekiwania, podano makaron, który był nie słony!!!! Okoń morski najwyżej poprawny. Za taką cenę jedzenia nie można wybaczyć 1,5 godziny czekania na słabe potrawy.

Amazing place in the old town of Albufeira. A break away from standard tourist death trap restaurants that plague much of Albufeira. Casanova’s offers a mix between Western, Mediterranean and Portuguese classics.
The food was so good I went 3 times within an 8 day period. From steaks to octopus, they have a great selection of food for a family meal or a date night with your partner.
The staff are great, very attentive and are always ensuring you have everything you need.
Would 100% recommend to anyone in Albufeira. It’s worth the drive if outside the area also for sure.

Cenamos muy bien, todo buenísimo y de precio aceptable, la atención de los camareros muy atentos pero lo que no me parece correcto es lo que tardan para todo especialmente en la comida y no lo digo por mi mesa , también por las próximas a mi que me di cuenta que también tenía que esperar demasiado. Conclusión , si no tienes prisa y tienes buena compañía para que la espera os sea leve , pues merece la pena.

I've been there with my girlfriend for her birthday and we tryed the tomahawk steak, and that was amazing... we also get an cocktail with Corona and an strawberry daiquiri which was lovely also!! Great service!
If you looking for a good restaurant to be well served and with a friend staff here you are!

J'ai rarement mangé dans un resto aussi top : le personnel est sympa, les plats faits maison super bons, le vin blanc excellent, nous avons pris des desserts alors qu'on en pouvait déjà plus et là encore super bon et fait maison. L'endroit est sympa,au frais avec un peu de vent. Adresse à aller absolument. Pour moi, 6/5 !!! Merci à toute l'équipe

Firday was our last night here in albuferia went here for dinner 100% good food and had good craic with waiter and in a nice spot and a nice view of old town find this place well worth it

We arrived at 12.02 to then wait 40 minutes before we ordered food, which only happened when we asked to order. Food then took around an hour to come, with one order arriving wrong, and the other food very average. Would definitely not come here again.

Had a lovely meal here after a disgusting attitude from the waiter at O Penedos.
Forgive that they have people outside trying to call you in, saying it's the best in Portugal, it's not, but it is pretty good for old town.
Had the calamari, clams and bread for starters and it was lovely. Best calamari I've had so far.
Cataplana and mix grill followed. Cataplana was amazing, mix grill was average but cooked well.
Would recommend, very fair price

Llegamos aquí un poco por casualidad dando una vuelta por el casco antiguo. El sitio nos pareció curioso pues estaba un poco más apartado del bullicio de la plaza y en un enclave con un poco más de "encanto".
La cuestión fue que nos sentamos a cenar y cuando le dijimos al camarero que no queríamos ni las aceitunas ni el pan... no reaccionó demasiado bien, pues en seguida comenzó a murmurar algo que se entendía como <<...ah en España crisis y claro...>>.
Tema comentarios del camarero aparte tomamos un cocktail de gambas como entrante y como plato un atun "al algarve" y un frango (pollo) stroganoff con sus bebidas correspondientes más tarta de chocolate y café, por unos 40€.

Heel fijn restaurant. Gezellig ook en lief personeel. Ze hebben daar zelfs iets voor ons gemaakt wat niet op de menukaart stond. Dat was heel aardig.
