Schöner Abend, wie erwartet. Sehr schön eingerichtet, toller Blick über den Strand auf das Meer. Sehr guter Setvice, Vorspeise - Garnelen in Knoblauch und Öl, sehr gutes PreisLeistungsverhältnis. Die gegrillte Dorade war leider etwas totgegrillt, aber etwas Öl half hier ganz gut. Ich hätte much beim Salat sehr über Tomaten und Paprika aus dem Umland gefreut. Diese schmecken wesentlich besser, als unser EU Gemüse.... Wieder mehr " back to the roots" täte der regionalen Gastronomie eh ganz gut. Das kommt vielleicht mal wieder. Aber dennoch eine tolle Location. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sand banks has one of the best locations right on the beautiful Vale do Lobo beach, the staff are always friendly, they have the best Full English breakfast always perfect and great value, lunch and dinner is just as good. Decor coastal with big windows to enjoy that special view.

Sandbanks is an amazing experience. Restaurant to go to if you are a fish lover. The staff cannot do enough for you, they are friendly and attentive. If you are in ValeDo Lobo this place is a must

We came for a quick drink @ 15h20, lunch almost done, wanting to sit by the window and see the view and were made to sit on a table by the door. There would have been no other clients coming in at this time, it was quiet! The waiter who served us was friendly, but we still will not be back.

Íamos dar um waffel a nossa filha e na eventualidade comiamos também nós. Disseram que não tinham mesa. E nos a vermos 10 mesas vazias.

A lovely location and breakfast promises a lot but unfortunately there is no excuse for cold bacon and luke warm food. Been twice this week and both times food only just warm. Disappointed. Could be fantastic.

Probably the worst place to eat in Portugal. I would be arrested for animal abuse if I took my dog to eat there. It’s very sad.

This place is a great setting, right on the sea front with full glass walls to soak up the view. Breakfast are superb and fair price. Great fresh fish dishes for dinner and lovely place to watch the sun go down while you eat

Friendly welcome, great food, good service, fabulous view, fairly well priced for the location, would recommend. Sadly they close from 16 November. Open again on Boxing Day.

Absolutely terrible place. The food is a no no, especially the kids’ menu. Unfortunately it was the only place that was open at the time we needed. The table was all sticky, and it never got cleaned up. We also had to physically go and get the waiting staff to come to our table a few times, and the prices... well, definitely not recommended. If I could give no stars I would. The only good thing about it is the view.

Well it won't be the cheapest place you will ever go to but when you see it and experience it you realise why. The location on the beach is totally stunning and the surrounding areas to the restaurant are literally a millionaires paradise hence you would not expect this place to be cheap and cheerful but you do get what you pay for in every sense. Having been previously we knew what to expect and again took advantage of the fact that you can choose your own lobster from the tank so you can't get any fresher than that. The staff are excellent and the food superb and you dont get rushed through your courses or rushed to leave your table just nice relaxed easy going enjoyable place to visit

Lovely location by the sea, good food, helpful staff. Live music just outside in the Praca (every evening from 7.30pm) can be a bit loud and overbearing later on, depending on who is performing.

Endroit sympathique même si visite en très basse saison

After playing a round of crazy golf we decided to check out the Praca to get a bite to eat. After looking at all the menus we choose this one and were not disappointed. The service was good, the menu selection was varied and the food was very tasty. I loved my chicken curry. The kids loved the extra touch of the sail on their plate. The views of the beach ⛱ and sea from the restaurant are mesmerising. Definitely request a table by the window.

Direkt am Meer! Edles Ambiente und gutes Essen! Freundliches Personal! Alles in allem ganz O.K.! Leider aber nur mäßiges Preis -Leistungsverhältnis. Recht teuer!

The team went out of their way to make our family feel welcome and even to entertain the children. The seafood was incredible. Children’s food was good. Views of the beach and sea, beautiful. 2nd Visit, better than the last as it was faultless.

Over the beach, great food, live music, cocktails. Good for family lunch, friendly bites or romantic time :) great spot!

Fairly standard menu, expensive and food adequate. Great views along beach for sunset. Check the bill as Fish per kilo seems to work out very pricey.
