Spent two weeks in Lisbon and luckily Simpli was just down the road. Such a vibing cafe, nice bakery options and amazing coffee made with obvious expertise. The staff are what make it so cosy and friendly. Coming from New Zealand where a flat white is Bible - this place does it right.

Surely an excellent coffee. Pastries are ok but nothing exceptional. Staff quite harsh, first thing they told us when we came in and asked for a table was that we had to pay first. Music too loud, you had to scream in order to be able to ear something, and the closely spaced tables meant we could follow the conversation of all our neighbors. Definitely not the place to be with a toddler, there was no chair for him and barely space for the stroller. Probably the perfect place if you're a coffee lover and want to drink it without saying a word.

To be sure it's specialized in coffee. it has a nice taste of style and some delicious brownie! If you love to sit down and enjoy a good coffee, you have to visit this spot! Although the prices are not the same as the normal Portuguese prices, it's still not allot.

Meu café preferido em Lisboa, tem cartão de fidelidade que dura um mês, quanto alcançar um número de carimbos ganha-se um café a escolha gratuito. Fazem a torra na loja e tem sempre muitas variedades de café 100% arábica. O ambiente é muito agradável também. Servem almoço! Imperdível :)

Simply extraordinary!
The warm atmosphere, the interior, the coffee and especially the service are just perfect. We haven't been anywhere in Lisboa that comes close to this place.
Even though we stepped in shortly before they would close, we were still welcomed and served like in no other place.
The sweet pieces were delicious as well as the Cappuccino and Espresso Macchiato. The hand made black coffee, which was prepared in front of our eyes and with passion we've never seen before, was a great expression of hospitality in our eyes. Thank you!
The service we've just experienced is a perfect example of how customers should be treated. Conversation with the staff beyond smalltalk, respectful recommendations, humor and honest personal interest.
We'll definitely stop by a second time!

Comfy chairs, good coffee and serious pastries - a proper coffee house. More expensive than your average café and my latte was a bit cooler than I would expect, otherwise I'd give 5 stars.

We ordered the misto ham and cheese croissant and received the brioche ham and cheese which then was sprinkled with powdered sugar. We questioned the ordered but was told it was what we ordered. We ordered a black tea and was given earl grey, as well as the Americano tasted like warm sugar water.... great atmosphere but the food/service was a let down.

One of few places that trully deserve a praise.
Artistically presented interior in a warm and contrast wood-metal design, shelves and decorations complementing one another. Even the music was chosen to further enhance the atmosphere. By all means, a place to relax, sip a cup or coffee and enjoy your time.
Speaking of enjoying - by far the best cup of coffee I had in Lisbon. Cold cappuccino or soft warm latte, each has a characteristic taste to it, as if (and probably is) made moments ago from coffee beans of far lands (the real bags of coffee beans from arround the world placed as decorations might serve to prove that). The taste and aroma are are expressive, delightful. I was savoring every sip.
Service was nice and kind. I only wish the entrance door was kept closed to keep the street noise out.
For a traveler, a businessman on a brake or a couple, to anyone who love coffee - I highly recommend to spend an hour or two here.

Horrible customer service, slow service. We are group of 5 people, we asked for two menus 1 and one menu 2 with extra cappuccino, it took the cashier 10 min to place the order and i was asked if I would like Colombian or brazil coffee I choose Colombian. I was charged apart of extra cappuccino 2 expressos Colombian and when i said I asked cappuccino with Colombian coffee not expresso the lady said to me they come separate, i had to ask them put the two expresos inside cup make cappuccino. The decor is stunning, but waste of money as staff ignored you when you get to the shop. They were 4 in the day and look all lost.

El local és muy bonito y acojedor. El personal és muy amable. Tienen mucha variedad de bolleria y el café está bastante bueno, peró pedí un capuccino corto de café y aun así me lo hicieron fuerte. No aceptan pagos bajos en targeta. 2,5€ por un café con leche me pareció excesivo, aunque sean coffe roasters (teniendo en cuenta que para mi gusto era muy fuerte). El sistema que tienen pra poner el azucar es muy cuqui y moderno pero muy poco práctico, el azucar al ser moreno se queda apelotonado y tienes que poner una cucharilla pra romper-lo, despues tirar-lo encima de una cuchara para poder medir bien la cantidad que desees y rezar para que no se te caiga todo de repente y la lies parda.

This is a great place to have good coffee and great pastry snack ( cake, Brownie, croissants atc). The coffee store makes it's own bread so it is also worth trying. It has a nice/chill vibe to go study, work or just chat with friends. The people working there are very nice and they speak English if needed. I will recommend any coffee they have. I tried the chocolate and even though it's very good it's not a sweet thick type of chocolate.

Passei. Adorei a decoração. Pedi um queque...O que é isso? Dei volta ao balcão e pedi um caracol.
5 minutos depois veio o queque...olhei várias vezes para quem estava na máquina e esperei...comi o queque.
10 minutos chegou a meia de leite. Nem toquei e não volto a entrar.
A formação é fundamental. E definir minimos de tempo entre pagar e receber.

It's a lovely looking place. A typical cosy and trendy coffee shop.
But, I ordered a simple breakfast off their menu and they couldn't get it right. The only thing I did that deviated slightly was ordering scrambled eggs, well done, instead of poached eggs (you are offered the option btw). How hard is it!? I first got charged for a second portion of scrambled eggs. So I went and corrected it pointing out that it is an option on their menu. Then it arrived with poached eggs. After that it arrived with jiggly scrambled eggs. Seriously. It is ridiculous!

Nice cosy place. They have a large choice of pastries. I had a brownie and ice tea when I went, both were great. They have a terrace too which is great when it’s sunny. Would recommend!

Local fantástico, atendimento espetacular. O café é simplesmente atencioso. Boa decoração, e com uns doces feitos mesmo com amor e sabedoria. Outra coisa não seria de esperar da equipa do Mestizo. Boa localização no centro da cidade, recomendo vivamente um salto a quem é apreciador de um bom espaço calmo e acolhedor

Óptimo local para apreciar um café de qualidade, tendo em conta que fazem a sua própria torra do café no local, assim como, têm todo um preceito a tirar os cafés.
Tem também alguma variedade de pastelaria e padaria que as delicias de quem lá vai.
Serve igualmente refeições, limitadas a 2 ou 3 pratos, mas confeccionadas com grande qualidade

Los chicos han sido muy atentos, hablan español y mientras estuve ahí me di cuenta de que conocen varios idiomas lo que por ser Lisboa una ciudad muy turista les da un punto a favor ya que atienden mucho mejor a sus clientes!

Great coffee and atmosphere! They have 2 different types of coffee beans every day, luckly when we went had Costa Rica and Brazilian coffee beans, but all are delicious because Simpli only sell special ones! When the coffee is served has a description about region, altitude, producer, ... you can also buy to take home.
