Apenas entré el dueño intentó evitar que pasara, luego me indicó de mal modo el lugar donde debía sentarme, después me pregunto que quería, a lo cual le pedí el menú, de muy mal modo, haciendo gestos y enojado, me lo tiró encima de la mesa. Viendo la cantidad de reseñas que indican lo amables que son al atender me pregunto ¿serán racistas?

Llegamos y nos dijeron en un MUY mal inglés que nos adentramos en unos asientos cerca de la puerta pues al parecer estaban limpiando. Nos preguntaron qué queríamos y no nos quisieron dar la carta. Me pregunto si serán racistas pues a los demás comensales creo que filandeses o alemanes que estaban afuera parecían estar cómodos.

Ich gebe einen Stern für die Einrichtung, die aus einer Straßenbahn zu stammen scheint. Ich wollte hier einen Kaffee trinken, aber der Wirt gab mir zu verstehen daß ich nur hinein darf, wenn ich ein Mitagessen bestelle. Obwohl das Lokal nur halb voll war.

Decent food and good service. My son ordered the waffles and ice cream which he really enjoyed. My tram driver burger was good, not great. Inside seating is limited but the kitschy tram theme has appeal. Cool little place.

Se come maravilloso, los chicos son muy amables y el local en forma de tranvia por dentro es muy chulo. La francesinha está de muerte y la hamburguesa vegana también, muy bien de precio a pesar de encontrarse al lado del castillo de San Jorge. La única pega es que tardaron un poco en traer los platos por lo demás todo genial.

Great atmosphere in the old street car. Cod salad was quite satisfying. Toasties hit the spot for this huge hike to castle, and they have a generous scoop with the gelado. Very accomodating staff. Foodies, this is basic diner food, but very good at that.

Very good value staff happy to help ,nice theme we have been here every time we visit would reccomend for a snack or drink ,the toasted sandwiches are huge and the ice cream is good too .

The interior is fitted out as a tram car, which was quite cute, and the name comes from Lisbon's most famous tram route. It's obviously aimed at tourists, but I think it was actually quite nicely done. The toasted sandwiches we had were simple but quite substantial and tasty, and I think it mentioned in the menu they were made with a local style of bread.

The restaurant is located in the center of the Lisbon right beside the castle.

Le cadre est le principal atout de ce café aussi bien à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. La cuisine elle n'est pas dingue surtout au niveau des salades. C'est sympa de proposer des burger dans du pain baguette mais ça ne change pas le manque de saveur. Déçus donc de ce café même si vous pouvez vous y installer pour un moment de détente prêt du fort.

A good place to have a drink outside after visiting st George castle. Only a few minutes from the castle. Orange juice was very fresh and the gin and tonic were spot on. Cool and in the shade.

Habia escuchado del lugar por twitter pero cuando llegue me di cuenta que no es mas solo el lugar no hay mucha variedad en el menu y aparte sacaron a todos los clientes de la sala porque tenian que limpiar lo cual me parecio un poco fuera de lugar porque ya estabamos comiendo

The place it's quite unique but not much impressive.
The cafe is built in a train car doesn't have many options at the Menu and what you paying can be more than what you are getting, even though it's great to be visited if you passing by or even stop over for a ☕ or a .
Watering services has to be improved.

Wow, shady. The VISA machine was suddenly 'broken', wouldn't accept a 50 euro note (which is extremely uncommon in Europe) and just a tourist trap. We left feeling like we were shaken down. The food was ok but certainly not good enough to seek out the place. If you enjoyed this place, you certainly never travel.
It was close to home and listed on Trip Advisor and Google. I think that is because it is a safe bet for timid tourists. Big, big mistake.

The food was good; the staff was really lackluster-to-snakey. They declined to take a credit card, despite displaying the VISA logo and then insisted on smaller bills instead of making change. It felt like a tourist shakedown and dishonest. Who needs that?

Such a lovely and fun cafe. With an interior fitted out like a famous Lisbon tram, the affordable food was delicious - I had an XXL toastie.
I appreciate it’s aimed at tourists but I loved the historical elements throughout, from old ID to information on the trams. Quick. Pleasant. Busy.

The food is made over complicated. For a simple prawn cocktail, there were too many ingredients. Too much from a can and the prawns were not fresh. My wife had a chicken salad, more or less the same quality. It's a shame for such a nice venue. Portions were (too) big though. The fries of the children's chicken burger were good. Waiter was nice enough, playful with the children.

It's an uphill walk over cobbles in narrow streets but worth it. The inside is a replica of the old trams that still run in Lisbon. The custard flan was fab and the prices were modest.

Ubicacion genial, comida deliciosa, precios de turista pero desde luego vale la pena, no solo por el sitio sino por la calidad y el ambiente.
Aconsejo la Francesinha.
Aunque los camareros son muy serios, si pides que te añadan o mejoren cualquier plato lo hacen sin coste adicional y la verdad VALIO LA PENA :)

When we asked about the flavours of the milkshakes his only answer "we have many" and never even offer to bring a menu until asked to do so.
Another customer wanted to sit inside and it was everything but friendly the way he asked her to sit outside. Obviously she left the place without even ordering.
Worst service experience in Lisbon, so shocking too as people are super nice in this city.

Lo puntuamos con un dos y porque el café que nos tomamos estuvo rico. Pero no nos pudieron atender peor. En primer lugar, no nos dejaron sentarnos dentro. Luego, casi sin decirnos hola, nos preguntó lo que íbamos a tomar. Y por último, al darle las gracias no nos contestó. 3€ por un café con leche.

Depois de uma visita demorada ao Castelo de São Jorge saímos para almoçar. Bem perto da entrada encontramos o 28 Café e resolvemos experimentar. É um café/restaurante muito pequeno, ideal para uma refeição rápida e simples. O seu interior é uma cópia muito interessante de um carro elétrico de Lisboa. Pedimos um Bitoque e um Peito de frango. O acompanhamento foi igual para os dois pratos: batatas fritas e salada. Atendimento rápido.

Un ami nous avait fortement recommandé ce restaurant et ses fameux burgers.
Rien à dire sur le cadre, les serveurs font leur travail et sont plutôt agréables ..mais bémol sur le Burger.
Nous n'avons pas l'habitude de manger autre que du local quand nous voyageons mais les Burger nous ayant été recommandés ... mon copain et moi avons commandé le méditerranéen Burger et le 28 Burger. ..et quels regrets de ne pas avoir commandé autre chose.
Le pain manquait de fraîcheur, et pour le 28 Burger impossible de reconnaître le goût des aliments tellement on sentait la moutarde vinaigrée... et je me pose des questions quant à la viande... pas sûr que ce soit du boeuf (tres sec et sans gout)
Attention, mon jugement ne se porte que sur ce plat...

Slow waiters, hardly notice any newcomers until you start waiving heavily at them. Food is at the lower end of being okay, most of it seems to come straight out of cans or plastic wraps, no way this is hand made. Coffee is small, as in most cafés, and not so tasty. Best of this place is the nicely decorated interior in the style of a tram car.
Can't really recommend it.

The interior is nice but is more a gimmick than a concept. You do not get an authentic feel as the concept should indicate. Food is of poor quality and boring. You will easily find the same food at better prices, at other places. The coffee is ok. Staff is indifferent.

Nice interior but THINK TWICE before you order any food here. I wasn't very hungry so I ordered a mussel with pickle sauce for appetizer - that was terrible, basically fresh from the can! Seriously a shame that a cafe serves canned food to customer! Very disappointed!

Het café ziet er ansich leuk uit, maar helaas houdt het hier wel bij op. Aangezien, ze hier geen goed eten serveren. Hamburgers zijn matig tot slecht, en ze serveren gewoon blikvoedsel!
Eigenlijk is dit dus gewoon een toeristenval, en het enige voordeel is dat je hier met een kredietkaart kunt betalen. Dus dit café kun je het beste gewoon vermijden, en ergens anders gaan eten.

Nice place to have a quick bite at reasonable price near the Castelo de San Jorge. The staff is nice and the small terrace is a good place to rest if it's not raining. Inside they have a kind of Team interior re-created, which is nice, although the ambient is quite "closed" (low ventilation for my taste). The hamburgers are ok, but I'd recommend the toasts, which are tasty and big.

Tenen una carta de plats de ràpida elaboració: tapes, hamburgueses, amanides, entrepans calents,....El preu està molt bé, ja que és una zona molt turística i hi ha restaurants cars. Aquest restaurant està fora i molt a prop del castell de Sant George, per la part elevada del barri. El toc original del lloc és que imita ser un tramvia, amb els seients i les barres per agafar-se. Les parets tenen fotos de diferents models de tramvies. Vaig provar uns entrepants calents de tonyina i de salmó que estaven molt bons i portaven, a part de formatge, trossos de pinya, i ho vaig trobar bo i original.

Das eis war gut, die Waffel aber aus dem Supermarkt , der Kaffee war sehr klein. Milchshake war gut. Bedienung unflexibel. Man kann schön sitzen.

Après un très bon moment passé à la visite du château, le hasard nous a conduit vers ce café. Une bière 0,5l à 3,90€ et une glace 3 boule à 4,50€ et nous pouvons poursuivre nôtre découverte de Lisbonne. La déco du tram 28 sans les secousses

È stata veramente una bella scoperta, il locale è arredato come un tram, ma come stile, non è buttato lì.
Ci sono anche i tavoli fuori sotto agli ombrelloni davanti a una bella piazzetta.
Il servizio è buono e sono molto gentilI

Rien que pour le décor et la terrasse qui donne sur une charmante place.

Decoração original realizada com o apoio do Museu da Carris. Espaço pequeno mas acolhedor apesar do número elevado de turistas que o frequentam. Um dos espaços mais originais da zona.
É ideal para refeições leves e os preços não são caros demais para a área.
