Très cher pour la qualité des repas. C'est le seul restaurant de l'île il faut prévoir un repas sinon le restaurant as un snack bar a l'arrière avec des options moins dispendieuses et des bières de plusieurs formats qui vous satisfera après une longue marche sur cette île déserte

Posto incantevole...anche se abbiamo avuto difficoltà a trovare il posto d'imbarco...ma per la tranquillità della spiaggia ne vale la pena.
Continuando a camminare la spiaggia è quasi veramente deserta.
➡Unica cosa importante da ricordare: portarsi un ombrellone e crema solare perché non esiste un briciolo d'ombra ❗

Carísimo. Nos cobraron 10 € por dos copas de vino blanco (el mismo vino que en otros establecimientos de otras islas cuesta 4 € una jarrita de medio litro. Las ostras muy buenas, pero también algo caras respecto de otras islas (Ilha da Culatra, la de mejor relación calidad-precio).

Pas mal. C'est bon et tout est frais. Le service est bien mais en anglais. Il y a tout ce que vous offrir la region. Avec l'île déserte et le cadre en plus. Cela se paye bien sûr.

Das Estaminé ist das einzige Haus auf der Ilha Deserta und liegt wunderschön in den Dünen. Durch die große Glasfassade hat einen tollen Blick aufs Meer und auf das Dörfchen Farol gegenüber. Auch die Architektur ist ansprechend und man legt wert auf nachhaltige Energie- und Trinkwassergewinnung (Solarzellen und Osmoseanlage). Ich selbst bin zum zweiten Mal zum Austernessen da gewesen. Die Austern sind super lecker und wachsen vor Ort in den Lagunen, dazu ein guter Weißwein - top. Zum restlichen Essen kann ich nur sagen, dass meine Frau beide Male sehr zufrieden war (sie hasst Austern). Danach scheint die Küche gut zu sein, das Angebot ist gehoben. So leider auch die Preise, was die Freude ein wenig dämpft. 2,00 € für die Auster ist aber wiederum fair. Nach dem Essen (oder davor) sollte man unbedingt einen Spaziergang am Strand und die Dünen machen.

Reserved for 3 but didn't eat until around 4.30. Poor folks were rushed off their feet. But it was delicious and a nice fun treat. Wouldn't go again but happy we went.

Brilliant food and lovely views. Highly recommend getting the fish of the day grilled it is lovely and served to you at the table. The calamari was perfectly cooked and the desserts were brilliant. Time it better than we did though as we had to rush for our boat but managed to fit in dessert as we told them and they accommodated us by bringing desert very fast.

tl;dr - food ok, service bad
We went there for a dinner, that was ok.. higher prices for ordinary food, it is sort of a tourist attraction.. so be it. We went for a walk and wanted to return for a desert. We've been told, they are open until 7pm. When we returned just after 6pm, the kitchen was closed, no service on the tables.. screw dessert, we ordered drinks only. We were arrogantly asked to leave more than 10 minutes before 7pm.. I wouldn't recommend this place, unfortunately it is the only restaurant in this area.

endroit superbe, infrastructure en très bon état. l'accueil n'est pas très friendly...il faut un peu pleurer pour avoir une table sans réservation...
par contre, la cuisine est sérieuse, les pates aux champignon étaient fameuses et copieuse, les autres plats des convives étaient tout aussi réussis.
la sangria est incontournable !
à refaire et à conseiller à tout le monde.

Ottimo ristorante su di un isola poco distante da fare.
Intendiamoci , è tutto estremamente turistico... l'arrivo in barca , le persone che frequentano questo ristorante e la spiaggia con ombrelloni, direttamente collegata al ristorante con una passerella di legno.
Tutto bella mq.come dicevo poco fa , turistico!
Al ristorante si pranza splendidamente , sapori ricercati e apprezzabili in quanto fanno parte di una cucina molto ben organizzata.
Servizio buono, nonostante i molti turisti. Quindi fondamentale prenotare ... abbiamo visto delle persone non riuscire a pranzare perché non avevano prenotato e il ristorante era pieno.
Il conto 60 euro per 1 taglierino di 1 formaggio.
1 insalata e 1 piatto di linguine ai funghi (ottimo) e 4 birre piccole....caro ma comprensibile per il livello del posto.

Set in stunning surroundings. If you love seafood then this is the place to go! Great selection of food. The fish is cut and served to you at the table.
Only downside was, all sat like you were at school dinners and if it's busy, you'll be waiting a fair while for your food.

Es un lugar muy bonito, el restaurante cuenta con amplios ventanales que permiten ver el paisaje de la isla. Los precios son algo elevados y sobretodo en las bebidas. El restaurante tiene una parte que es un snack bar con bocadillos y algunas cosas para picar como opción a comer en el comedor.
Lo bueno del restaurante es que cuenta con servicios y una ducha, los únicos de toda la isla.

Ilha Deserta is magical. Therefore the food seems to taste better than it might on the mainland! No cod. Big disappointment and especially so when we were only told when placing our order. We were offered golden bream as dish of the day but at 250 thought it exorbitant. Went for sea bass, cooked in the oven, instead. It was delicious. Thanks

The food is great, the seafood tastes fresh and well done.
The view is pleasing in a sense there is not much around other then the island but its claiming.
The only negative is that it is a bit pricey due to it being the only restaurant on the island

We’d heard several comments that (due to the restaurant having to ship in all supplies and staff from the mainland) it was expensive by Algarve standards. It isn’t. There were four of us and we had couvert, 3 starters, 4 main courses, 3 desserts, 2 jugs of sangria, 4 large bottles of water and coffee, and the total bill came to €50 per person.
Compared to some of the rip-off beach restaurants in the Golden Triangle (who also can’t compete on the location front) we thought it was very good value for money. You get what you pay for.
Some of the ill-informed ‘reviews’ on TripAdvisor object to the pricing, saying the restaurant “runs a monopoly” or is “a tourist trap.” Don’t they do any research before they come here? Or look at a menu before ordering? Or have a tongue in their head to ask questions?

Non avendo alternative sull'isola il ristorante ha prezzi alle stelle, così come il bar accanto...servizi igienici molto puliti.
Abbiamo preso 2 bibite al bar per circa 10€ in totale...comodo l'accesso diretto alla spiaggia.

Great service from the waiter. Great food and nice location only complain was the receptionist who told us to come back 2 hours later but when my partner phoned two minutes later to say we just docked the boat do you have space. Miraculously a table opened.

Servicio nefasto. Después de gastar una gran suma de dinero, te dan prisa para se tarda otra familia. Y si luego quieres tomar un café te mandan al Snak Bar que no es más que la parte trasera, sucia y llena de gente joven ocupando lugares con una Coca-Cola. No vuelvo y no recomiendo a nadie

Качество блюд хорошее. Но с подачей и обслуживанием всё очень плохо. Сначала официант споткнулся и обрызгал мня пивом, после этого он даже не захотел извиниться! После чего мне принесли не то блюдо которое я заказал! Они перепутали! Убирали блюда долго! В сервировки стола между блюдами, нет никакой симметрии. Ставлю 5 звёзды за еду, но с учётом всех замечаний, то это 3 звёзды! Если вам не принципиально обслуживание, то смело туда идите! Для единственного ресторана на целом острове, это неприемлемо!
Прошу принять во внимание, я делаю вывод на основании своих впечатлений!

I go to island every year and very honestly speaking... don't see new dishes in menu. Extremely over-prices and considering real price of seafood in Portugal, it's a big margin added to price. I understand it's the only place on island but still. Went outside of rush hour and waited 20mins to get bill even was empty.

Love the location. You rarely get better. Book ahead to get a window table. Service was very good - thanks so much Kaique! - but probably because they weren't busy. Food was great but the stars are for the location, I've had better food as excellent as it is.

Only restaurant on the island, prices aren't cheap compared to Faro but not too expensive considering their excellent service and lovely staff. Could have been 5 stars with a proper vegan dish as well but menu has a few vegan side dishes (salad, french fries, boiled potatoes...).

Fantastic location and beautiful surroundings on Ilha Deserta. The black linguini was divine. Finished off a perfect meal with chocolate keké and ice cream. We will definitely return here. Such a treat!

Quite A nice place but extremely over priced as it is literally the only building on the island so obviously has a monopoly over the clients. I don't think the island is worth visiting, as there's only a standard very small beach there and no natural nice places to visit. The only good thing was the nice sea shells. The wait is Too long considering they don't have so many dishes to choose from and people/tourists who came on speed boats have to rush to get back to the shore on time. So only come here if you don't want to explore the island, since you wont have time for both.

Muitos mosquitos, e por que?
Porque o restaurante mantém estas lixeiras na foto abertas, sem cuidar do lixo. A comida é sonsa.
O preço, nos pareceu justo considerando a exclusividade.
Mas o preço foi muito injusto se considerarmos as qualidades da comida e das bebidas.
Atendimento também não foi bom. Bastou reclamarmos dos mosquitos que caíram nas bebidas (sim, mosquitoS em vários copos e na jarra) para nos tratarem mal o resto da estada...

The location of the restaurant was awesome, very near to the beach. The food and the service was excellent. The waiters were very carefull to all the requests of the customers.
The fist was very fresh and well presented.
If you go behind the restaurant, you can see your fish while is cooking.
The price was high, but I think was appropriate for what they offer.
If you go in Algarve, this is a good choice to spend a day.

We spent one week between Lisbon and Algarve and we eat in several amazing restaurant, but if we have to choose one will be this. The location is great and very particular being the only building on the island, quiet and enjoyable. The food was stunning, everything tasting as just fished, and a big variety of choices. We were four and choose a starter and a main each so we could taste almost everything and was hard to choose the best course. The service was professional and quick. Prices are high but appropriate and it worth to spend a little extra for a 5 stars restaurant. Have a try if you go in Algarve!

I can only echo the other reviews. The food was great, but the prices are high and the service is slow. The waiters were well informed and skillfully prepared the fish tableside. I would recommend trying it if the prices are within your budget, but if you have a return ferry booked plan accordingly. Although we only had a main course and the restaurant was not particularly busy we spent a little over an hour there.

Lubina a la brasa para seis personas, en su punto, realmente sobresaliente.

- Uma hora de atraso para sentar face à hora marcada;
- Serviço demorado, desorganizado e nada simpático;
- Preço exorbitante para a qualidade e quantidade dos pratos (doses muitíssimo pequenas e comida desenxabida: lulinhas com areia e linguadinhos secos).

¡¡¡EXPERIENCIA NEFASTA!!!
Una experiencia pésima en uno de los peores restaurantes que he pisado en mi vida .
Camareros incompetentes , desorganizados y sin ganas de trabajar , una jefa o encargada de sala desagradable y mal educada a la que no se podía preguntar , porque la mejor de sus respuestas era: "no puedo contestar a nada ."
Y eso no es todo , teníamos una reserva a las 15:30 y acabamos sentándonos a las 16:00 estando el salón medio vacío.
Nuestra comida se alargó hasta las 18:00 de la tarde : una cazuela de almejas frías y con sabor a acero inoxidable(19€) un plato con seis gambas excesivamente picantes(18€) y un plato de pasta (19€)que tardó una hora en salir de la cocina, que nos podríamos haber ahorrado para disfrutar un rato de la playa .
Mi recomendación si van a visitar ilha deserta: llévense la comida de casa.

Restaurant entièrement autonome sur une île déserte (c'est son nom : Ilha DESERTA) ; alimenté par des panneaux solaires et utilisant l'eau de mer après traitement pour fournir l'eau potable.
Ce restaurant gastronomique portugais vous propose du poisson frais et très bien préparé, des entrées variées et d'autres spécialités culinaires locales.
Vous pouvez ensuite faire le tour de l'île à pieds en une heure environ ...

Es un sitio fantástico para comer porque está justo enfrente de la playa en esta isla desierta, la comida estaba muy rica y el precio no siendo barato es adecuado al sitio en que se encuentra ya la calidad ofrecida. La única pega que le veo es que algunos platos tardan bastante

Restaurante de luxo, com preços pouco acessíveis. Mas com uma comida com excelente qualidade e peixe fresquinho. E um maravilhoso passeio de barco para chegar lá.

The food is great, with a lovely view towards the ocean. The restaurant is quite expensive (especially given the weak Pound at the moment) so head to the snack bar 8f you're after a quicker/cheaper snack.

Não aparenta grande organização para a marcação das mesas. Acabamos por não conseguir comer no restaurante e tivemos de ficar pelo púb. Se quiserem desfrutar de uma refeição completa convém marcar com dias de antecedência.

By far the best place in the Algarve for grilled fish. Expensive, but the location alone is worth a visit (only restaurant in a desert island). Only reachable by boat, which you can catch at the docks in nearby Faro. One of my favourite places in the world.

This restaurant has a 'captive' audience of people visiting 'Isla Deserta' by boat trip, so I was bit sceptical going in, but the staff were very friendly and the razor clam rice that I had was stunning! My wife enjoyed the Tuna carpaccio too and the prices were very reasonable. The restaurant setting is fabulous and it's all glass sides give it a brilliant view.
