It is not the first time I am buying medicine from this farmacy, but it is the first time when the guy who was there to help was rude to me. I asked about some pills for my sore throat, which I have got a few days before, but I couldn't remember the name, so I tried to explain how they looked like. I don't think he listened to me, he came back with totally different ones. I told him they are not the ones I am looking for, then, with a superior smile he got back and started to pull out different boxes of pills and throw them on the counter, almost laughing at me, saying they have many different ones, which is true and I understand this. I saw the lady who sold my pills the other day and said maybe she knows which ones I am talking about. Then this guy just shrugged and said "Yeah, ask her", turned around and left. His English was good, however when I mentioned to him that his attitude is not a nice one he started to speak Portuguese, saying he doesn't understand me.
I felt I was treated with disrespect and laughed at instead of being helped.
I don't know if this was because I asked to speak in English rather than Portuguese, although the machine that issues the order numbers gives the option for both languages.
I don't think I will be back there.
