Non mi sono trovato male tranne per li spiacevole inconveniente dovuto al ragazzo che consegnava le auto che non ha annotato sul foglio i graffi presenti sull'auto , alla riconsegna ho dovuto discutere per spiegare che non erano stati causati da me , poi tutto si è risolto per il meglio

Evitate assolutamente questa società! Prezzo basso al momento dell prenotazione online, raddoppiato poi al momento del ritiro, senza nessuna spiegazione "sensata".

Horrible experience— very long line, doubled the estimated price without itemized explanation, unhelpful when asked for clarification. Waited extremely long for car to become ready. Will never rent again with ace or gold car/rhodium.

Scammers, GOLDCAR/ RHODIUM/ ACE Rent a Car are all the same company just scammers to take your money. They charge me twice and the costumer service don't even responded. The money that you save don't pay for all the trouble and ruined holidays. Stay away from these thieves. NEVER AGAIN.

Terrible. Do not book with them. They add on a lot of ‘mandatory fees’ and wanted to put a 1200 euro deposit on my credit card for not accepting their insurance. Their customer service was also terrible. I cancelled my reservation in Lisbon and went through Avis/budget instead for a lower cost and less hassle. I was thankful Priceline let me cancel the Reservation without a charge.

This place almost ruined our trip. We traveled all the way to Lisbon from Miami, USA and we had reserved a car from this place to pick up at the airport. We reserved a small car and they wanted to give us a VAN. One of those vans that looks like a work van and we simply could not take that because of how small the streets are in Europe. We argued and begged them for an hour and they refused to give us any other car. Then we finally gave in because we didn't want our trip to be ruined. We were already paying a one-way fee and were supposed to pay $654 dollars or 9 days. That's the amount on the reservation. Then when we finally agreed to take the van, they wanted to charge us almost $800 EUROS. We finally decided not to rent the car and tried our luck with one of the reputable rental companies where we were able to get the right sized car for a little more money. But worth every penny not to deal with this place! It's not worth it reserving with this company to save a little money and have your day and almost your trip ruined by them. The price they quote on the reservation will be increased when you show up to pick up the car anyway. It's a scam.

Evitez absolument cette compagnie! Faible prix lors de la réservation en ligne, puis doublé au moment du retrait. Nous avons été obligés de prendre une assurance de minimum 250€ car nous avions des cartes débit et non des cartes de crédit (indication notée sur votre carte). Faites attention avant De partir de vérifier vos cartes bancaires sinon mauvaises surprises à l arrivée.

In Portugal, Ace Rent a car=Rhodium=Goldcar, which is a bad joke. You arrive to pay double the price, because they won't accept the online insurance, so you have to buy another one more expensive from them. And you find out that only after they take you the money for the car rental. You have the option to leave a deposit of 1200-2000 euro for the eventual damages. They are advising you to buy the insurance, as for any scratch, you will pay minimum 300 euros. And it was a Fiat 500... When I presented them the insurance I already ought, they said it was not good, is an amount of money normaly asked for "marketing", not accepted by them. So you arrive to have bought two insurances. In conlusion, better avoid Goldcar, or Rhodium, or ACE. I thought it will cost me 120 euro, and I paid in the end almost 400.

Not Ace Rent A Car! Instead, you are sent to GoldCar Rental. They added 125€ in extra 'mandatory fees'. I needed the roadside assistance they charged me 855€ !!! Impossible to contact them on the phone. I had made the reservation using Expedia, they where also surprised by the extra fees since they explicitly state that they give all the details in their emails. Expedia is now working on my case to workout my paiement... Save yourself the trouble!!!

ACE does not exist at the airport. The name is gold star (green sign) next to the other car rental places. The price quoted online is inaccurate. Once you get there the price jumps up... 1.5 euro per day for toll tag, plus 75 euro hold for gas, plus 1,200 euro if you don't get full coverage, plus 9% airport service charge etc etc which is more like 100+ euros per day. Not very helpful and very shady. Recommend you try another company.

This company is crook. It appears to offer cheap rates for car rentals but hides insurance fees and cash traps. We booked a car for €60 and travelled 2 hours to get to the rental place only to be informed from a third party car rental that they operated through, that we had to pay over 260€ more. We tried to cancel but none of the phone lines work. They are scammers and one should avoid this company at all costs.

ACE is not the company providing the vehicle but Goldcar rental is who has a rating of 1.5. We found the staff rude, waited over 3 hours to get our vehicle. Goldcar added enough charges to our rental that were mandatory, that equated to more than the initial rental costs from Ace. They took an 80€ fuel deposit that is supposed to be refunded on my credit card however has not been refunded yet. There are plenty of car rental companies in the airport, i would recommend trying another. The car itself worked well and was fine. It was just the renting experience that was poor. I have rented from various agencies all over the world and this was my worst experience. Generally rental places are good with their service. The booking experience was good with ACE. Just the service provided through their partners was poor.
