Mixed opinion on food. Husbands toastie was very boring, many local cafes use large sour dough slices, these use placid square white slices. My BLT was enormous, had to eat it in sections. Other people's food looked good.

We had a fab dinner. My rib eye steak in pepper corn sauce was the best I have ever had. Hubby had Octopus which he thoroughly enjoyed. We will be back

Very friendly staff. Good food cooked to order. Ribeye steak cooked to perfection, also had wild Sea Bass which was very good.
We have eaten here a number of times while staying at a nearby hotel and have no negatives. a little difficult to find as it is just off the promenade.

I have been back and forth from Portugal 5 times this year for work and found this absolute gem first time round. Highly recommend this lovely place, I haven’t eaten anything that wasn’t delicious!

Wonderful food. Service is top class. They cannot do enough to accommodate their customers and looking forward to dining there in a couple of weeks time. Anna is a treasure. Henry is okay too!!

Thieves!!!
Waiters are polite and efficient but they cheat you on the check.
Food is eatable but portions are very small.
Charged me 4 or 5 times the price for the wine and when I told the manager he called me an idiot and turned his back to me.
Fortunately , he was a coward and it did not end on a fight.
Strongly recommend to choose other options nearby.

Food and staff are great but both times we ate there they didn't have the prawn curry as seen on the menu. Extras that are supposed to come with your dish only come if you specifically ask. Otherwise great spot!

No frills restaurant where the cooks are good - try octopus Lagareiro style (always so tender!), the staff are young and friendly, and its very reasonably priced. Open throughout the day!

Comida excelente. Atendimento extremamente simpático. Preço bom. O local é muito simples, sem requinte, mas com bom aspecto e pelo serviço e qualidade dos pratos vale bem a pena! Recomendo.

Attente un peu longue... Mais uma ça valait le coup car tout est frais et très très bon... De la crêpe salée au plat typique avec de la etc... Et en plus pas cher du tout... Les enfants jusqu'à 10 ans ne payent pas pour 1 plat adulte acheté jusqu'à 20h... Je recommande vivement !!!!

We had dinner 2 times in this restaurant 1st time was steak with pepper sauce very good! Second time octopus and fish fillets with banana never eat anything like that and is absolutely fantastic and is the cheapest restaurant I saw in quarteira.

Walked to Quateria in the daytime ,beaches are nice and quiet , sunbathed in front of Coral beach cafe (also nice) and crossed the road to find this gem of a little square , very nice chatty staff Daniel served us on both visits , lovely food on both occasions

We've been coming here for over 20 years. The owner Maria runs the place fabulously, and Henryk is always there to take your orders. The food is excellent, and the staff wonderful.
We used to attend Maria's Portuguese classes years ago.
And also the "keep fit" classes in the mornings 2x a week, on the patio in front of the restaurant.
There is also the possibility of booking one of the apartments above the restaurant in the Edifício "Atlântida II ".

Хороший сервис, очень вкусная еда, незавышенная цена. Главные блюда в районе 10-15 евро. Заказывали антрекот в перечном соусе и осьминога в чесноке, оба блюда были очень нежными и вкусными!

Sehr empfehlenswert. Super Küche mit immer wieder neuen Kreationen. Diesmal Fisch mit Banane. Mir neu aber suuper lecker! Netter Kellner, der sehr engagiert ist und gute Atmosphäre, wo nicht der Fernseher läuft. das alles direkt am Strand Nähe Dom Jose Hotel. Wir sind begeistert und ziehen dies jedem anderem Lokal vor!

Arrived at 7.30 pm and where shown to a table . The water took our order for drinks and asked for an order for starters. We didnt want starters.
So he left ,
After waiting for 32 minutes we had still not had our order taken.
We paid for our drinks and left .

Un excelente lugar para comer algo rico. La picanha estuvo en su punto y con un sabor muy rico. Personal muy atento y amables. Precio y calidad buena. Fue mi último día en Quarteira... y me voy feliz de haber estado en este sitio. Obrigada!!

Muito Bom!! O caril de camarão é delicioso e a picanha quase não fica atrás! Vale a pena experimentar como entrada um pão de alho com queijo que dá vontade de não parar de comer. O atendimento é muito bom (de gente educada e simpática) e o preço é acessível. Gostamos muito e voltaremos sempre que pudermos.

Super place to go for lunch, the food was amazing, the staff are really friendly and very helpful.
We had fish , steak and rice , black beans , cooked to perfection. Really nice location quick and easy to get to from the beach

Ótima comida a preços bastantes acessiveis, alguns pratos diferenciados e um excelente impratamento, atendimento de ótima qualidade e boas instalações, no interior do restaurante têm parteleiras cheias de livros de várias linguas que se podem ler enquanto espera pelo seu pedido apesar do tempo de espera sem bastante curto.

Sem duvida alguma o melhor restaurante da Quarteira. Comida familiar deliciosa, de qualidade e cozinhada com amor. O pessoal da equipa é 5 estrelas... ja conheço este restaurante à 3 anos e nao tenho absolutamente nada a dizer de negativo. As crianças que comem menu antes das 20h nao pagam! ACONSELHO mesmo.

Restaurante familiar com ambiente acolhedor. A esplanada é muito agradável na altura de jantar.

Been coming here for years and just popped in again today! We only came to Quateria to eat at Girassol.. Lovely to see Henry's happy friendly face again... We have never had a bad meal here and today was just as scrumptious as ever... Good portions.. Try the chicken with mushroom sauce!! Young staff serving very friendly and efficient....

5 stars; we really loved it here. The food was delicious and so reasonably priced. The young waiters were super friendly and the place was packed. We'd love to have the opportunity to come back. They also cater for vegans, I had the Morrocan salad without the yogurt dressing.

Very good variety of both main course and desserts. Delicious home made pies cakes and cheesecakes. Beautiful home made soup with crusty bread is served at lunchtime with a toasty, a sandwich or baguette and is excellent value. Staff very friendly and attentive. Well worth a visit.

Restaurante simples perto da marginal da quarteira. Tem uma esplanada com espaço para as crianças correrem depois do jantar mas pouco aprazível.
O staff é simpatico mas o serviço lento.
A sangria estava fraca mas os pratos principais estavam ok. Comi o espadarte com molho de tomate. O preço rondou os 15 euros por pessoa.
Para desenrascar serve.

This restuarant offers good local food for very good price. The food is always fresh and we have been many times. Maria and all staff are so nice and so helpful. We have gone to very expensive places near by but you know they were not up there for the price. A clean restaurant in a lovely location cant fault it at all.
