Pros: Beautiful location which overlooks part of the marina, which has wonderful sunsets. Extensive food and drink menu which can offer a selection of tastes for you. Local musicians play, which create a wonderful atmosphere and add the relaxing feeling. Great seating for indoor or outdoor placements.
Cons: Overpriced for what you get. The service for us was lackluster: slow, abrupt, and completely uninvolved. The food was average despite its high cost. Additionally they do not take credit cards, which was no mentioned anywhere, at least from what I saw.

I asked for a pizza without onion and sweet corn and they brought me one full of onions and sweet corns. However, that was not the worse thing about it. Unfortunately, the pizza was not baked properly, it was raw and without taste. Disappointing service. No no no, avoid it. It is a pity as the location is really nice.

This is a geat location, it's right on the water and is truly amazing! There is inside and outside seating which is nice! Such a friendly and welcoming staff! And the food is just soooo yummy. I would definitely come here if you can!

Gute Aussicht auf den Hafen und viele Sitzplätze im Freien. Unsere Bedienung wirkte leider eher genervt von uns, obwohl gleich in der Früh eigentlich noch keine Gäste da waren. Mussten dann auch noch lange warten, um bezahlen zu können. Preislich im Mittelfeld.

Unfortunately, the waiter was very unfriendly, he basically smashed the dishes and the drinks on our table, and apparently was not able to smile. Parts of the order were forgotten, coffee was cold (but replaced by a hot one for free). Overall, not an enjoyable experience.

Relativ gutes Essen direkt am Hafen mit einem schönen Blick. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Restaurants in Portugal, sprach hier die Bedienung relativ gut englisch und auch die Wartezeiten bei der Bestellung und Bezahlung waren nicht so lang. Es gibt ausreichend Sitzmöglichkeiten, so dass man auch spontan einen Platz findet.

Food was ok and service as well. Ordered Sangria and as there was no drink menu available, the cost of it came as an unpleasant surprise at the end. I guess it’s true that drinks are overpriced.

Selten so eine gute Pizza gegessen. Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Pizza wird frisch zubereitet und benötigt dementsprechend auch seine Zeit. Zur Pizza wird auch die leckere Piri Piri Soße gereicht. Wer es scharf mag, sollte diese unbedingt nehmen. Rundum ein tolles Restaurant am Hafen mit einer super Aussicht.

Sehr unfreundliche und mürrische Bedienung, so was habe ich zum Glück nicht so oft erlebt. Der vegetarischer Toast war trocken und geschmacklos. Die Aussicht auf den Hafen war ok, aber das wars auch schon. Wir kommen bestimmt nicht wieder!!

The staff been more than polite to assist you at any time,accomodating you as best as they can and serving you impecabilly,the best of all been Denis,who will answer you at his best about any food menu,drinks,amenities and places to visit;

Lovely view over the marina. It a great place to have a drink, if you can't be bother to walk elsewhere in the marina.
The service in this place is appalling.
They don't accept card.
The food is almost edible.
And they actually tell you the food won't look like the one in the menu
It's overpriced and not very authentic, and of you are lucky they will lose 2 out of the 4 items in your order.

This cafe is located right on the marina. The cafe tasted great and arrived hot. We attempted to order at the bar, but they asked us to seat ourselves anywhere at an open table. We were pleasantly surprised that the coffee price was the same even with the table service, 1 euro. The service was fast and friendly. We enjoyed a quick coffee before enjoying the area's attractions.

Very expensive for what you get. Supplements are almost more expensive than the meal itself. Paid a lot of money for a simple toast with bad quality chicken and had to pay an additional €4 for a couple of fries.

Cerveza estándar nacional, Sagres en concreto, por si alguien se imagina que se trata de una cerveza artesanal... Después de una estupenda semana en el algarve, este tipo de sitios engañan al turista y se cargan la imagen de la estupenda gastronomía portuguesa. Nunca volveré a este lugar

Really poor quality food. For this high of a price there should at least be better quality food. A frozen pizza would be better than that and you can buy pre-made pasta sauce better than you get served here... too overpriced. Only the staff is friendly.

Lovely food, friendly staff and great views of the marina! Wide selection of pizzas, pasta, salads, sandwiches, toasties etc at reasonable prices. Our food was ready very quickly and staff were really helpful. Plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors looking out over the marina. Will likely return and would definitely recommend!

Nous sommes assez surpris par les avis négatifs, car passés par hasard ( il faut dire que l'emplacement est top) nous avons mangé des pizzas certes pas topissimes, mais bonnes et les serveurs étaient très agréables.
Nous comprenons par la suite que Le propriétaire a changé et le personnel aussi.
Donc repas classique et service au top.

Dont go there.. we sat down the waiter saw as and came after 10 minutes of staring at each other. We ordered 2 burgers plus chips and 2 coke, none of the burgers were what we ordered, they meant to be 6€ and the bill came to 23€ so we asked how is that possible, he replied that the cokes were 2.50€ the chips 3€ with vrry bad manners. How they think they can charge 2.50€ for a can of coke when they charge 5€ for a simple burger is beyind me. Ricidulous. To conclude, we ordered 2 drinks, 2 burgers and everything that arrived at the table was not what we had ordered. Please consider training your staff, looking at your prices!

Gorgeous view of the marina. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Mayan Barman, who recommended a local seafood specially dish - seafood cataplana. It was excellent. Highly recommended.

Pizza was magnificent. One of the best pizzas that I ever tasted. The staff was awesome, the young guy who served us was brilliant! He should get a raise!

Went to this cafe after just arriving in Faro. Staff were very pleasant, cafe was clean and we sat outside to admire the view of the marina, such lovely weather. We ordered a steak sandwich each and fries to share. The bread was lovely and fresh. Unfortunately the steak was tough, I only managed to eat half as I didn't have the time, or the strength to eat the rest. I would go back again and maybe give their evening menu a try?

Terrible experience. Not a cheap place, fair enough on location, but service was non-existent. Barely 1/4 full and difficult to even get menu's on arrival (plenty of staff walking around doing nothing). Food was average at best, rubber/chewy fish - in a town known for seafood! Only had 2 meals and they came out 15 mins apart - first meal was basically finished upon arrival of the second. Had to ask for the bill on 3 separate occasions over 15 minutes. Finally, refuse to accept card and direct you to an ATM attached to the restaurant, only to pay 2 x the regular ATM withdrawal fee. Would love to give this 0 stars if if I could.

We sat on a quiet Sunday and asked for 4 coffees we waited for half an hr and nothing, plenty of staff but still no coffee so we reminded them and they brought one coffee then the other three when they where told a third time. We had a great time at Cafe Do Coreto for our first night in Portugal and Faro. The atmosphere is key as the music along the boardwalk was great with the food. The Faro specialty Cataplana with seafood is a generous amount for 2 people and tasted really good. It is more expensive than other restaurants nearby, but I think the location makes up for it. Our server Ruben was very polite and friendly.

We are currently in Faro for a very short time as we work our way through Portugal. As it was such a lovely fine Sunday, we decided to stop here for a couple of cocktails and a pizza to share as a late lunch snack. Nayan Barman was the waiter who served us. Paramos por dos veces. Una para tomar "imperiais", cañas, y otra para café y comer, no sabíamos dónde y teníamos prisa.. El servicio es algo lento pero todo llega.
Comimos una pizza vegetal excelente. No era congelada.
La comida que había no era la elaborada y casera. Sino más para turistas sin exigencias. En nuestro caso se nos hizo la boca agua con la pizza del británico de la mesa de al lado...y acertamos.
De precio como España.
La ubicación muy buena al estar en el mismo puerto deportivo de Faro, junto al casco antiguo de la ciudad y de la zona de dónde salen las embarcaciones a las islas Desierta, Do Farol y Culatra.

Very bad and slow
We arrived at 9.30pm, we got a table very quickly but we had to wait 40mins until ordering. First drinks after 1hr. Slow and wrong service. One dish was absolutely forgotten and sardines were tasting very bad.
One plus, waiter was very kind but the guy was complaining that he had been working for 14hrs. Staff was obviously exhausted.
Would not recommend.

We got our drinks after one hour.
The worst food we ever had. I had the sardines. they were too big, and not clean (so the taste was really bad). They forgot one dish after an hour and a half waiting.

First night in faro. Live music was fabulous. Stopped here for food, was delicious. however, only had main course would have been interested in a desert if the waiter came near. After 3hours I took myself to the bar/kitchen to ask to pay. Good job I had cash. Prices I thought were good till I went elsewhere, it's very overpriced in compared to the other places.

Tres bien ce café sur le petit port de plaisance pour boire un verre.
J'y suis allé 2 fois - une fois pour manger en mode snack biere et une fois pour l'apero.
Bon le coté snack c est pour se nourrir quoi, rien d'exceptionnel, on trouve le même type de nourriture partout.
En revanche pour boire un verre, une biere en fin de journée c est agreable. Le soir il y avait de petits concerts donc pas mal.

No se puede pagar con tarjeta pero ofrece un "estupendo" cajero ATM en su propio establecimiento para que saques dinero y se lleve su correspondiente comisión... Menudo geta!!!

I was here 2 times with my friends during my short stay in Faro. We were both times served by the same waiter. He was very friendly and receptive to all questions we had. Our favorite dish and my recommendation to anyone who comes to this restaurant is to try the 'pastéis de bacalhau'. It's simply delicious and comes on a good portion.

Ewige Wartezeit. Sehr dreckige Toiletten und überfüllt. Nachdem wir die Küche gesehen haben, haben wir uns gegen ein Essen entschieden. Wirklich nicht zu empfehlen. Einfach nur ein Touri-Massenabfertigungsloch ohne flaire. Schade.

Came as family with children, waiters did not pay attention to our presence at all for 20 minutes. Looking at menu, simple pizza is way overpriced - 12 Euro for margarita you must be kidding me... we left the place without ordering though it was midday and place wasn’t overcrowded.

Ayer dia 31 de julio de 2019, fuimos a cenar. Cual fue nuestra sorpresa,
que a la hora de pagar no se podia con tarjeta. Nos dijeron que teniamos un cajero en el restsurante. Comentaron que asi funcionaba Portugal. Les dijimos que esta forma de pago no era de Portugal sino que estaban obsoletos ( no nos hemos encontrado otro caso como este en Portugal). No vayâis IMPRESENTABLES!!

All'esterno, all'ora dall'aperitivo serale, si può godere della musica dal vivo (di solito si tratta di bravissimi duetti locali). Il pesce cucinato è ottimo (consigliate le sardine alla griglia).

We went for a sangria, ended up with a pizza and... another jug of sangria! Great place on the water to chill and our waiter, Nayan Barman (seriously, on his nametag!) was wonderful! He gave us space but somehow was there as soon as we felt like ordering something else. Everything we ordered was great!

The worst and the most expensive restaurant in Algarve we visited. The seafood Salat consists here from pawns and surimi sticks, one peace of green tomato and onions... This great combination cost 15 Euro. Shame on you!

I was very disappointed, the food was of very poor quality, and my boys were not keen on the hot dog , ( see picture ) the price was also high, even for the prime location.
The only upside is that service was quick and the staff were helpful.

Die Aussicht ist besser als der Service (älterer Herr hat seinen Job verfehlt, wenn es ihm zu viel ist die Bestellungen der Gäste aufzunehmen). Der Schinken-Käse-Toast ist in Ordnung, der Hauswein jedoch ungenießbar. Ich habe mich leider von der schönen Lage blenden lassen und erst im Nachhinein diese Rezensionen gelesen.

Caipirinha de maracujá demasiado doce 6€; pizza de salmão não é feita na hora (congelada) muito salgada e com a base queimada e salmão só sabia a sal 14€. Defenitivamente um local para turista ver a vista da marina mas para evitar para refeições. Não tem multibanco.

Ein Stern ist da noch zu viel! Älterer Mann im Service der total unfreundlich ist. Sauteuer 13Eur eine Pizza Magherita. Deswegen haben wir nur ein Toast bestellt. Der wurde mit Dosengemüse serviert, hat auch 7eur gekostet. Die Einrichtung ist auch nix.

The waiter (a man on his late 40's) was extremely unpleasant, behaving like taking our order was almost doing us a favor. The cakes were tasteless and obviously not fresh. Terrible experience, won't comeback.

Went here for breakfast and ordered the shrimp omelet. It came with fries and salad. The omelet was good and the sides worked good. There were 2 or 3 shrimp in every bite. The down size was the omelet was cooked on to high a temperature and was brown. The shrimp were not deveined or washed. Had a fishy taste. But would eat again.

The coffee is ok and the view is also good. But the service was very unfriendly. We ate a toast with cheese and it really wasn't worth the price. You can get better and cheaper toasts on many other places in Faro which are everywhere in this central place.
I wouldn't go there again.

Had a few hours in Faro and was looking for somewhere for lunch near the bus station. We came here because we were inspired by David Kay's review and agree with his recommendation of sardines and salad. The grilled sardines (which my partner had) are also very good.

A lovely place right on the waterfront with seating outside too. Serves lovely pizza but also lots of traditional food too. I can recommend the sardines and a green salad.
