Sehr schönes, sauberes und gut positioniertes Hotel. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück hatten wir inklusive und war sehr gut.Das Zimmer gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Falls wir nochmal nach Lissabon kommen sollten, dann werden wir ganz sicher dieses Hotel wieder buchen.

Terrible! I didn’t stay! I paid in good faith for a room at this hotel via a booking agent they use, in January, for a June stay, and after travelling for 24 hours tired and needing a room they told me I didn’t have a one! Apparently due to some miscommunication with their agent, they cancelled my booking due to no fault of mine. Consumers beware!!!

The door lock broke and got locked out. And they would not call a locksmith. They could not reach their maintenance staff. Finally got in at 8AM the following morning. The staff was unprofessional and should not be in a hospitality business. The manager wasn’t available for 2 days. Then he replied with same attitude as the staff. Horrible place to stay. And really awful service. Never experienced this kind of bad service from a hotel. This was more like a no name motel in middle of nowhere. No accountability. No service.

Klimaanlage hat nicht recht funktioniert. Trotz Bemühungen des Personals nicht besser geworden. In der dritten Nacht hat das WC ebenfalls plötzlich einen Aussetzer gehabt...Ansonsten tolles Hotel mit gutem Frühstück, super Lage!

Die Mitarbeiter des Hotels sind ausgesprochen freundlich. Zimmer zur Straße sind nur etwas für Gäste mit Geräuschtoleranz :-) leider wird gerade dazu noch in der Nachbarschaft gebaut. Dennoch war es ein schöner Aufenthalt und das zentral gelegene Hotel (unmittelbare Nähe auch zur Metro) ein guter Ausgangspunkt für diverse Exkursionen

Das Hotel hat eine perfekte Lage aus Touristensicht. Das Personal ist äußert freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Zimmer und das interne Restaurant haben eine hohe Qualität. Ich kann dieses Hotel nur jedem weiterempfehlen!

Room are the size of a closet.i have never seen such small rooms in my life after traveling all over world. Staff was not so cooperative.restaurant have very limited food options..only good part about this hotel is location..

Bettwäsche war verfleckt. Wurde dann nach Reklamation ausgewechselt. Personal im Frühstücksraum unfreundlich,kein Guten morgen. Buffet wurde schlecht aufgefüllt.

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.Das Personalnist extrem Freundlich und Hilfsbereit.Wir hatten extra ein superior Zimmer nach vorne gebucht. Das war sehr schön und gross.Mann bekommt halt was man bucht. Das sich andere über die Zimmergrösse und die Lautstärke beschweren kann ich nicht verstehen. Natürlich ist es so zentral Laut wenn das Fenster offen ist. Dafür ist die Lage aber genial. Das weis mann aber wenn man bucht und dafür kann man keine Sterne abzuziehen.Verstehe ich nicht wir kommen wieder!

Congratulations on the service! Every staff member was amazingly helpful and friendly. The breakfast and the restaurant were five stars. Everything was delicious. The downsides were the lack of a gym, and my room was a bit too noisy.

Die Lage vom Hotel ist sehr zentral. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer sehr ruhig. Bequeme Betten. Nespresso Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer. Das Hotel ist sehr orginell...Ein hervorragendes Frühstücksbuffet. Kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

Eu me hospedei neste hotel , no caso eu e mais dois amigos, o que aconteceu foi o seguinte, quando eu fiz a reserva o valor dos dois quartos me foi cobrado, no dia que cheguei ao hotel dia 17-02-2019, me foi pedido o valor da taxa de turismo, até aí eu sei e tenho conhecimento, no dia 19-02-2019, no dia da saída do hotel , ao fazer o check out me queriam cobrar mas as taxas de turismo, e um valor de 56,50€, porquê vieram dizer que a gente consumiu vários artigos do mini bar, antão eu pedi que o funcionário me acompanhasse até ao quarto para verificar, onde depois foi tudo verificado , mesmo assim um foncionario na recepção disse que tinha que pagar 2 águas, 2, colas, 1 chocolate, eu para não continuar mais com esse tipo situação eu paguei as 4 bebidas, eu na primeira vez pedi a factura era 56,50€, e quando paguei as quatro bebidas o valor foi 46,50€, e na factura me aparece o mesmo valor da primeira factura, eu achei o atendimento muito péssimo, por não falar enquanto eu estava no quarto a foncionaria não bate a porta do meu quarto e entra no meu quarto, eu acho isso uma falta de respeito, como limpeza e péssima, vidros da janela estão um nojo, a roupa da minha cama estava com algo , tinha manxas , tinha até um lencol queimado, e no final de tudo eu estava com outra pessoa , me colocaram no quarto mais pequeno e ao meu amigo no quarto maior que devia ser o meu quarto, mas que falta de competência, da minha parte em avaliação neste hotel e 1 em tudo, qualidade, atendimento, e enfim.
P.s. fiquei mais atentos , para não acontecer o mesmo como acontece comigo.

Superbe car original : un bâtiment ancien très bien rénové et réellement design. Des étages personnalisés, belles chambres très bien équipée . Un accueil très convivial et très pro. Et un excellent et aussi original restaurant Bastardo.

Boutique hotel with great interiors.
Good excellent location situated right smack in the middle of central. Easy to maneuvere around town area and places of interest. Excellent service given by the counter staffs (ie. Joana, Ricardo..) .
And not forgetting the view is good from the balcony in the rooms.
One plus point is also Restaurant Bastardo located in the hotel itself. They served awesome food which is a must try in my opinion.

Estuve hace 4 años y me encantó, mi habitación era pequeñita pero tenía cafetera y televisión, las vistas daban a una callecita, nada impresionante, pero tenían bañera y ducha con hidromasaje. La limpieza y la atención correcta y la cama muy comoda. Está muy bien situado en la calle principal de las tiendas y hay sitios bonitos para visitar por la zona. El desayuno buffet era escaso pero correcto, todo estaba rico y tenían pasteles de Belém. El restaurante Bastardo de arriba muy bueno, todo lo que comimos me encantó y la presentación súper original.

Hotel is located in the City Center of Lisbon. The most (nearly all) points of interest can be reached on foot. The Staff is always very attentive, polite and helpful! Absolutely great!! Hotel is very modern, clean and well maintained. Great Selection at breakfast like Salmon, fresh fruits, scrambled eggs. Tipp:“Taste the Pastèis de Nata!“ I highly recommend this Hotel and would book it again anytime.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Super Lage!! Ich habe viel mehr erwartet von ein viereinhalb Stern Hotel. Entspricht gar nicht, bin sehr enttäuscht. Die Zimmer sind sehr , sehr klein. Kaum Platz zum sich bewegen. Das Badzimmer auch sehr klein. Das Lavabo ist auf ein Gestell , dass man kein Platz hat weder rechts noch links zum ein Kosmetiknecessaire abzustellen und alt ist es auch. Das Zimmer ist sehr laut, konnte drei Nächte praktisch nicht schlafen. Man hört alles was in den Gassen (Restaurants, Bar usw.) passiert. Ich verstehe, dass es zentral gelegen ist usw. Aber dann sollte es man nicht für ein viereinhalb Stern Hotel verkaufen. Dieses Hotel ist höchstens ein drei Stern! Schade, wir haben für unser 25. Hochzeitstag nicht so was gedacht und werden keine gute Erinnerung haben.

Amazing hotel right in the center of Lisbon! Got upgraded via Expedia to the breakfast and it was the best hotel breakfast spread I’ve ever seen. Fresh eggs ( not runny),plus a wide assortment of fresh fruits and veggies, and patries. Plus free mimosas with freshly squeezed orange juice! The room was clean and the staff checked on us several times during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Ideal gelegenes Boutique Hotel ca. 100 Meter von der grünen Metrolinie, direkt an der Einkaufsstrasse, die zum großen Platz am Meer führt. Sehr freundliches Personal, mit Tipps gut ausgesattet, sehr gutes Frühstück!Würde dort wieder buchen! Jedoch mit einem Zimmer, das auf den Platz gerichtet sind.Manche schauen in den schmalen Innenhof auf gefühlte und gehörte 20 Kühlaggregate, daher laut, Fenster sind aber relativ gut abgedichtet, trotdem sind Ohrstöpsel zu empfehlen.

International tourist trap. Overpriced tiny room, bathroom was so small that somebody bigger would not be able to sit on the toilet and not touch the sink with the legs. Design-wise, nothing really special at all. Also the bar is super overpriced, run away from it! If this location is important for you, go rather for Hotel Santa Justa or Figueira, just around the corner.

Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen. Das Zimmer bot den nötigen Komfort (inkl. Nespresso-Kaffeemaschine), gut schallisoliert und hatte eine gut funktionierende Klimaanlage. Das Badezimmer hatte einige schimmlige Stellen bei den Kacheln bei der Badewanne. Das Frühstück war ausserordentlich gut, d.h. hochwertige Lebensmittel und eine grosse Auswahl. Der Frühstücksraum ist sehr hell und originell eingerichtet. Das ganze Hotel hat einen schönen, durch designten Stil. Ein Abendessen haben wir im Hotel eingenommen, auch das war sehr gut. Tolle Drinks stehen zur Auswahl und die Mitarbeitenden sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

でも、清潔感があり朝食も美味しかったです。
ポルトガルの文化なのか、アメニティに歯ブラシがないので、行く時は注意。シャンプー、コンディショナー、ボディージェルがロクシタンなのがまた良かったです。

This hotel is in a perfect position to visit Lisbon, it is clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the architecture and the design is well-thought through. I really enjoyed my stay in the International Design Hotel and if you want, check out also the restaurant - it is totally worth it!

Aunque pequeño está muy bien ubicado. De ahí puedes tomar los turibus, taxis, motonetas, etc. Y caminando puedes ir a sitios emblemáticos de Lisboa. Su restaurant tiene una vista preciosa. Los alimentos deliciosos. Todos son amables y el hotel es original, piso a piso :)

Em um momento difícil, da minha Vida, o Internacional Design Hotel, foi Maravilhoso. Um hotel, Tranquilo, Alegre e Divertido, com uma Excelente Decoração, que alegra, qualquer um, desde o tapete de entrada: "Quero-te te conhecer" . Os profissionais, são Maravilhosos. Logo que entreia no segundo dia da minha estadia, de imediato um profissional muito atento, comentou o que eu tinha escolhido, no dia antes, para me preparar o " Expresso". Os quartos são intimistas, e bem decorados. Na porta, quando não queremos que nos incomodem, colocá-lo se: " Get lost " Maravilhoso. Bem-vindo disposto. Limpeza impecável. Vou voltar,e aconselho vivamente,que passem por este Simpático Hotel . Muito Obrigada a TODOS.

Nettes und bemühtes Personal. Die Lage ist perfekt, könnte nicht besser für ein Städtetrip sein: tief-zentral, zahlreiche Restaurants und Bars in der Nähe, meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten mit kurzem Spaziergang erreichbar, öffentliche Verkehrsmittel wie Metro und Straßenbahnen ebenfalls in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Frühstück ist ein Erlebnis, die Croissants sind so frisch und weich wie in Paris. Zimmer sind eher klein, aber trotzdem passend. Hotel-eigenes Restaurant (Bastardo) zwar nicht billig, aber die Qualität und das Service ist Spitze. Kann das Hotel absolut empfehlen.

Enjoyed everything about this hotel -- its location, its facilities, and its staff. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was amazing (best we had during our 2 week stay in Europe). And the staff were incredibly accommodating. Would absolutely stay here again!

Top Lage und schönes Haus – von aussen! Der Service im Hotel ist sehr bemüht aber könnte insgesamt besser geschult sein. Beim Auto anmieten konnte man mir leider nicht behilflich sein. Im Zimmer gibt es keine Steckdosen neben dem Bett, um zB das Handy aufzuladen. Man muss sein Handy bei den Staubsaugerdosen oder im Bad anschließen. Bei einem Hotel dieser Preisklasse, nicht so toll. Insgesamt wirkt das Hotel mit seinen abgenutzten Teppichen ein bisschen schmuddelig von innen (möchte-gerne Design Hotel). So richtig wohl habe ich mich nicht gefühlt.
Das WLAN Passwort konnte ich nur per Telefon bei der Rezeption anfragen (da ich bei Ankunft keinen entsprechenden Zettel bekommen habe).
Das Frühstücksbuffet wird um 11:00 abgebaut (ist ja ok), aber um 11:10 fangen sie an neben ihrem Tisch zu staubsaugen – auch nicht so gemütlich.
Die Sightseeing-Empfehlungen der Rezeption total mainstream – also fad.
Alles in allem würde ich hier nicht mehr übernachten bzw. beim nächsten Mal ein anderes Hotel mit ähnlicher Lage ausprobieren.

Great / fantastic location. Friendly and efficient staff training hard. The "design" concept is over-done. The attempt to make this place unique creates unnecessary visual noise that takes away from the experience. Each floor has its own theme that comes with distinct smell...can be a bit annoying when you are coming back after a day outside. This is a solid 3 star option. I would still consider the place if I came back as the location cannot be any better.

I am living in Switzerland but my family is from Lisbon: This is my statement for you if you are looking for a great hotel in the city best area central... and the people who work here know their job... you will feel in good hands. The restaurant is also great. You do not have to be a hotel guest to book a table in the Restaurant (excellent view, great dishes).

Ideal location for exploring Lisbon, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, lovely touches like little treats at turn down service. The design aspect of the hotel is really nice, it’s modern, tasteful and there’s some humour which is always memorable. The breakfast buffet had great variety and all very fresh, plus beautiful views over Rossio Square. Would highly recommend staying here.

Very convenient situation in old Lisbon. Near to lots of eating places, expect to be pestered in their restaurants! We had a really nice room facing the Square. Traffic not really a problem unless you are a really light sleeper. Thank you for the Portuguese custard tarts and the chocolates!

The staff is impeccable, the location is fabulous and the breakfast with excite and delight!! We were lucky to get a balcony overlooking the square which was absolutely breathtaking at night! We loved every moment, the only things to note are the size of the rooms are quite small and the beds are comfortable but not luxurious.

The hotel is within walking distance to many major attractions & only a few minutes to the metro, trams & buses. The hotel room is small but bigger than typical boutique hotels in Europe & has all the essential & clean. We like the different little sweet treats that were placed on the desks everyday. Breakfast was excellent, it’s full breakfast not continental. All the staff are pleasant & very professional. I will definitely come back to this hotel if I returned to Lisbon & will recommend it to my friends.

The Internacional Design Hotel is a very good hotel. My favorite attributes were: location, daily complimentary afternoon treats, friendly staff, and bar/restaurant on site. The biggest selling point of this hotel is the location. You're a 15 min walk to beautiful cathedrals and the Time Out Market, a 3 minute walk to a grocery store, and lots of restaurants (albeit touristy). In addition, the airport bus drops you off a block away from the hotel, and in the adjacent square you can catch the bus to the tower of Belem, or take the metro to Sintra.

Absolutely perfect location, super friendly and helpful staff, great size rooms, everything you need in rooms. Excellent breakfast. Highly recommend. All transport links are available on the doorstep (the aerobus drops off and picks up from the square outside the hotel).

Hotel was very modern and in a great location in the city. The rooms are very clean and well appointed. Comfy beds and a nice big bathroom! They brought pastry to our room while we were out touring! The breakfast at hotel was terrific - good variety of fresh food at the buffet and plenty of coffee. Most important of all, every staff person we encountered was super nice. Our flight got in early and they were able to give us an early check-in and a late check-out! I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Excellent.

I liked the location since it was so close to everything touristic. I loved the employees, they were so helpful and wonderful.I didn’t like the room size. It was too small for two people. Even when I upgraded although I got a better view the size didn’t get bigger. Quite cramped for two.

I greatly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, the hotel was well run with very helpful staff, and the breakfast was truly stellar! I only missed having a larger lobby or other public area to hang out in. The windowless loft area upstairs wasn’t terribly appealing and the interior “Eden” space could hold only one group at a time. Without a doubt the best hotel in all of Lisbon. The hotel is located right off Rossio Square, the main square in downtown Lisbon ( Baixa ) at the junction with Rua Augusta and within walking distance to all the main attractions including Praca Do Comercio and Elevador Santa Justa. The hotel is also within walking distance to the important neighbouthoods of Alfama and Bairro Alto , the nightlife area of Lisbon.
The hotel itself is an architectural jewel with an Art Nouveau exterior and decorated balconies overlooking the main Rossio Square. The interior of the hotel is even more intriguing as it conjures eccentric and alternative art decor with an original evocative decorative design blended with modern architecture .The hotel itself feels like a mysterious labyrinth that you would enjoy exploring as you wander through its corridors. Each floor has its own theme such as Zen on the second floor with statues of buddha and flavours of the far east.
There is an urban garden on the second floor where guests can unwind with a drink and a book and a loft on the top floor.
There is a restaurant on the first floor with sweeping views of the Rossio Square where guests can order an authentic meal or enjoy a delicious cocktail while the sun sets on the exciting city of Lisbon.
My room and bathroom were spacious and the shower was fitted with a rainfall shower head. There was also a huge TV screen and there was complimentary coffee and tea with a minibar and room service.
What made my stay the most enjoyable and memorable were the reception staff of the hotel which made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived, They were more my friends than just hotel staff and made it feel like Lisbon was my home town. They were excellent in recommending day tours and activities to do in Lisbon and helped me in every other aspect possible in getting around the city or recommending places and restaurants to go to. They felt more like my own friends in Lisbon.
I would highly recommend staying here and would most certainly be returning as this truly was my home away from home.

Very okayish hotel for the price.Most dissatisfying was the interior view room which was basically no view and the room doesn’t look at all like the pictures. Garden view is literally a joke and this room shouldn’t be booked at all. Service, breakfast are ok. Toiletries are replenished only once if you book multiple nights.Best part was Location though.

First time visit to Lisbon for a couples 2 day getaway and what a great hotel to base ourselves from. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly, in a genuinely nice way.The hotel is in a great place and easy walking distance to plenty of bars and restaurants.The castle is about a 10 minute walk, as is the waterfront area.The hotel itself is compact when you check-in at reception and you tend to think its going to be the same for all the rooms, however the room was surprising spacious and ours had a great view of Rossio square.Like any city centre hotel, space is a premium but for what we paid (around 95 euros a night), it was great value and would happily base ourselves here again.A lot of the the bigger chain hotels lack personality and customer service, and yes they may be newer and offer an array of services, but for what we wanted (a quick city break to recharge the batteries) this was perfect.They emailed us a week beforehand to say they could organize a car to pick us up from the airport for 25 euros which I though was a great service - however, as we only had hand luggage we decided to get on the metro as it stops in Rossio square and gave us a chance to explore as soon as we got there.If you like nice, unpretentious, boutique style hotels with great staff, then youll love this place, ticks all the boxes and doesnt break the bank.Will happily rebook this hotel if available on our next visit.

TRAVELER BEWARE!!!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!
We checked into the internacional Design Hotel only to be disappointed after spending a lot of extra money requesting a Rossio Square view. We were directed to a fourth floor attic like room with window facing another building. See my photos for their supposed square view. No solution other than another room with a similar view of a nearby store was proposed. The manager on staff was unwilling to do anything else so we have to turn on our international roaming so the general manager can call us at 11am at their convenience.
We waited for the call all day and never got one. When we returned to the hotel to speak with the general manager, we got an arrogant, unapologetic, interrupting individual who showed us his one attempt to call us when we were waiting in the lobby for him. Probably just put it in his phone to make it seem like he was trying. So from 11am to 5:30pm, manager had not acknowledged our situation. He was quick to say we were constantly mistaken, that he has years and years of hospitality experience (irrelevant in this situation especially considering how rude he was) and how we were aggressive to his staff (whom we apologized to but never had him apologize to us genuinely). He did not offer anything and was extremely hostile. As a local guide and traveller, I have never come across such terrible behavior before. The attitude was very much that they did "not care about bad reviews". Use that as a caution not to stay here because if you are that one person having an issue, tough luck because they won't mind your one poor review.
I cannot recommend this hotel at all. In fact, bathrooms are old, hotel has zero amenities or nearby reasonably priced parking, restaurant is mediocre at best and the breakfast buffet was regularly running out of items. For the hefty price tag per night, I'd say look elsewhere and don't waste your money here especially considering the staff will do nothing to help you out. Read some other reviews as well, you will find similar themes of the hostile and terrible general management of this hotel.

A great hotel in a prime location. Well designed hotel with cool artistic posters. Their restaurant design and space us epic. Rooms are clean yet not too big. Our room was facing the square and the touristic area. It’s a walking distance to everything. 1 min away from the train. Their breakfast buffet is great too.

Hotel with good ideas in terms of space design but unfortunately a few negativ points regarding appearance.
The rooms are clean but the bathroom had black stains in the shower (mold stains?) and the rod for hanging the towels would have been better off outside the shower cabin.
The room makes a good impression, only the view could have been better.
The employees are competent and friendly.
The hotel is very centrally located and is perfect to reach by aerobus.
Good for a city trip.

This was our 2nd stay at this hotel in 4 years. The staff are attentive, cheerful and helpful--mostly. Some need better training.
The room we had was small. The bathroom was small too. There was only one hook to hang anything in the bathroom. There is a derelict building right in front of the hotel. This has been tarted up since our 2015 visit, so it doesn't look so off-putting anymore. The mattress was not that great. There was a good-sized TV with many channels, and the aircon, showers etc worked ok. There was a safe and a Nespresso machine in the room.There is free WiFi--although free WiFi is now standard in most hotels around the world.
The shampoo, shower gel, conditioner and soap had a hint of lovely herbal smells. The soap appeared to contain crushed lemon grass. The entire hotel had a gentle soothing herbal scent hanging in the air all the time. But don't get too excited; all that was in 2015. None of those delights anymore. We noticed that the balcony has deteriorated quite a bit. The putty has partially fallen off some of the glazings and the metal window frames were rusty enough to be ugly.
The hotel is in a good location, but there are many other hotels around here to pick and choose from.
It's about 150 metres from the Rossio Metro Station on the Green Line (Verde). Consequently, you could reach it in about 35 minutes from the airport for just 1.50 euros. Take the Red Line (Vermelha) from the airport and change to the Green Line at Alameda. Going back to the airport is just as quick and easy.
There is a railway station, also called Rossio, which is about 250 metres away. You can take trains from here to Sintra and Queluz. These are much-visited sites.
The Santa Justa Elevator is 150 metres away, and a nice slow 550-metre walk down Rua Augusta will take you to the beautiful Praca do Comercio through the Rua Augusta Arch.
Walk 100 metres from hotel to Praca da Figueira and catch the 15E Tram to the Jeronimos Monastery, Belem Tower, Discoveries Monument etc etc. You can also take the 759 bus from here to the Tile Museum.
The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, but the hotel itself has a restaurant called Bastardo. In my opinion it has gone downhill compared to 2015. The furniture is a mish mash of plastic and old wooden tables and chairs, which I found unappealing.
Overall, it's a hotel with small rooms, is in a good location, needs investment (e.g. the coffee machines in the restaurant keep breaking down every few minutes) and requires some improved operating procedures. I always emphasise the emphasis of this maxim: Caveat Emptor.

O Hotel é bem localizado. A Parte externa do hotel é linda, mas o quarto é bem pequeno, a recepção é simples, mas é funcional. Ficamos apenas uma noite e infelizmente e o ar condicionado do quarto não funcionou, e o dia fez muito calor em Lisboa. Ligamos para recepção, pedimos um solução, que enviou alguem para confirmar que o Ar condicionado não estava funcionando. Depois de 10 minutos ligaram novamente, e falaram que "não teria como resolver". Ficou claro a falta de manutenção e o Ar Condicionado, e já estava funcionando sem gelar o quarto a alguns dias. Tivemos um noite terrével. Não recomendo.
The Hotel is well located. The outside of the hotel is beautiful, but the room is very small, the reception is simple but functional. We only stayed one night and unfortunately the room air conditioner did not work and the day was very hot in Lisbon. We called reception, asked for a solution, which sent someone to confirm that the air conditioning was not working. After 10 minutes they called again and said "there was no way to solve it". It was clear the lack of maintenance , and was already working without freezing the room a few days. We had a terrible night. I do not recommend.

Situation excellente au cœur de ville. Chambres très confortables. Petit déjeuner de qualité dans un cadre très agréable. Personnel très professionnel et plutôt serviable. Critiques : aspect de lhôtel surprenant avec tous le bas en boutiques fermées qui donne un air dabandon (rien à voir avec la photo promotionnelle !) ; entrée peu visible, car peu indiquée ; pas de parking et surtout pas daccord de tarifs préférentiel avec le parking voisin extrêmement cher ; impossibilité de s’arrêter devant lentrée pour déposer et reprendre ses bagages.

This hotel is centrally located and a really enjoyable place to base yourself when in Lisbon. The staff are excellent, very friendly and welcoming. The bus to the airport departs from Rossio Square across the road, the metro is minutes away and you can easily access all the main parts of the city from here. The hotel is located right by Rua Agusta the main pedestrian street in Lisbon and I loved being in the heart of everything. There is very little public space in the hotel so if this is something you prefer I would not stay here but for me it was not a problem Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice. I also ate in their restaurant Bastardo and it was one of the best meals I had in Lisbon. Floors have different themes and I found the rooms very well appointed overall. As someone who works in the travel industry I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel. I booked direct and got a very good price, cheaper than any third party reseller.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER - "WE DON'T CARE ABOUT BAD REVIEWS" - Hotel's General Manager
I have traveled all over the world and have never experienced such terrible service before. Booking a superior room with a supposed square view on Expedia (which cost more than the other superior room) gave us a room with a view of a wall. When I called to complain, they offered us another room with a view of a different wall. We asked to speak to the manager who was supposed to call us around 11 the next day , we never got that call.
5:30 the next day we came back to tall to the manager who came down with an attitude right away, claiming he called and refusing to accept may responsibility. No apology, no compensation (I asked at the very least to compensate for our breakfast which was less than half the cost of the difference we paid for our room) , nothing. Instead he told us we don't understand ("you think a room with a square view means seeing the square from your room" but to me it means looking out of the window.. is what he told us) , he has many years experience, and the hotel has nothing to do with it.
2 weeks in Portugal and this was beyond the worst experience we had. The price can't be justified by their rooms, and the attitude of the hotel is they are too good to care about what their customers think. No free water, no extra service, no assistance, the only thing going for this hotel is the location, and for that you can do much better.

The hotel is in a good location in Lisbon. Centre of town and easy to get a cab outside to go further. Overall our room was comfortable and clean, good AC and breakfast was good.
The main downside was the bathrooms which are a bit worn and shabby. The shower worked, but the shower head was a bit rubbish and the rainfall shower always dripped water so would wet your hair. Also the room we stayed in hardly had any free plug sockets to charge a phone etc. The coffee machine in the room was good, but there was no milk. The TV had lots of channels but no YouTube/Smart TV stuff.

Would gladly give 5 for everything if they’d worked a bit harder to accommodate us on early arrival. We came to the hotel around 10am after a sleepless night on a plane and had to wait until after 2pm to get the room.Other than that the hotel location, condition, amenities, personnel, etc. were really excellent. Great location, cool hotel with a great vibe. The only thing I didn't like was the miscommunication of being told breakfast was included in our reservation and then on our second to last day they said it was never included. It was some back and forth, but got the issue resolved.

Good modern hotel, centrally located. However, there is no hotel parking.We were told about a public lot near by that was supposed to be 35Euro per day, ended up being 48Euro per day! Other hotels help with parking arrangements but not this one. The most annoying aspect is the misinformation by the hotel. We asked twice and got the same wrong information. WiFi in the hotel also needs a major upgrade.

Haben einen Städtetrip nach Lissabon gemacht und sind für drei Nächte in dem Hotel geblieben. Die Lage ist sicherlich top, aber der Rest halt leider Durchschnitt. Personal sehr bemüht und nett, Zimmer sauber (aber sehr klein), Frühstück normaler Standard (der Orangensaft ist der Hammer) und das Essen und Trinken in der hauseigenen Bar viel zu teuer und dem Preis nicht gerecht. Da geht man lieber in der Stadt essen und bekommt deutlich mehr für sein Geld. Alles in allem würde ich dort nicht mehr übernachten.

Tolles Design Hotel für einen kurzen Trip nach Lissabon. Die Lage ist perfekt. Sehr hilfsbereites und freundliches Personal. Zimmer sind für den kurzen Aufenthalt ( bei uns 3 Nächte ) OK. Stylish eingerichtet, jedoch etwas klein. Frühstück ist zu empfehlen! Alles frisch und lecker. Ein allgemein sehr sehr sauberes Hotel mit tollen Raumdüften in jeder Etage.
Einziger Sternabzug gab es für das Restaurant El bastardo welches zum Hotel gehört. Das Essen war leider nicht sehr gut. Die Rechnung dafür aber teuer. Aber, dies ist ja bekanntlich Geschmackssache :)
Sonst gab es nichts zu meckern. Lissabon ist eine tolle Stadt

Could not recommend this hotel more. Right in the center of Lisbon. The hotel staff was friendly, helpful and professional. Decor and cleanliness are top notch. Modern bathroom with whirlpool tub. I booked a room with a view of the square. This room #306 is a corner room with 3 sets of french doors with juliette balconies that looked out over the square. Spectacular city views. Full breakfast buffet was also included. This will be my hotel in Lisbon.

Sehr positiv überrascht hat uns das International Design Hotel. Wir sind um 10 Uhr dort angekommen, haben den Check-in gemacht. Eine Dame hat uns dann 10 min erklärt, wo was ist und welche Linie wir nehmen sollen. Sie ging dabei auch auf unsere Wünsche ein und gab paar Tips. War wirklich toll. Abends um 17 Uhr konnten wir dann gleich in das Zimmer, wo unser Gepäck schon stand. War super. Das Zimmer war zum Innenhof und war top. Sogar Badewanne war vorhanden. Als wir dann nach dem Abendessen wieder in das Hotel kamen, war das Bett aufgeschlagen, Schokolade lag drauf und auf dem Tisch gab es paar Pasteis de nata, war echt super...Selbst die Handtücher waren neu. Top.
Dazu gab's paar Gutscheine für die Bar.
Frühstück war super lecker, vielfältig und es gab eine tolle Aussicht dazu auf den Platz Rossio. Das Personal war super freundlich. Von 7 bis 11 Uhr,
Am Abreisetag würde das Gepäck auch aufbewahrt.
Ein Manko Gib es. Sowohl im Zimmer als auch in den Toiletten des Restaurants sind die Türen mit einem milchigem Glas ausgestattet, sodass man erahnen kann, was dahinter stattfindet. Im Zimmer war es für uns als frisches Pärchen etwas befremdlich, wenn man sehen und hören kann, was der andere auf der Toilette macht...Und in der öffentlichen Toilette kann man sehen, wenn jmd. auf der Schüssel sitzt. Ich mag das nicht.
Insgesamt ein super Hotel und mit der Lage deutlich besser gelegen als die anderen.
Gerne wieder und ein riesen Dank an das super freundliche Personal.

Good location. Too xpensive for the level of room and service. We are paying 250€ per night when nearby you can find very good hotel and saving up to 100€ per night. For 250€ they don’t even give complementary bottle of water. Bathroom is very small. Bed quality is on average, I have seen much better. No amenities at all. Normal breakfast, but plate very often almost empty, for 2 fried egged I waited 30 minutes. Honestly we should pay much less.

Centralissimo e carinissimo. La mia stanza, molto bella e curata, con balcone che si affacciava su Rue d'Augusta e di fronte i bellissimi palazzi liberty . Non male come benvenuto a Lisbona.

Lovely hotel in the center of old Lisbon. Beautiful location with shops all around. The hotel has a lovely garden seating area, cute dining, cozy rooms, and helpful staff.

위치가 매우좋고 록시땅 어메니티를 사용한다. 모든 트램을 호텔 바로 앞에서 탈수있어서 관광하는데 매우 편하고 로시오역을 도보5분이면 갈 수 있다. 호텔은 방이 좀 좁으나 깨끗하고 조식 또한 훌륭하다

Onverwachts bij terecht gekomen toen we even wilde chillen na een drukke dag side seeing. We hadden geluk dat er een resevering was uitgevallen waardoor we na een drankje zo aan konden schuiven en in het fantastische restaurant konden eten! En ook nog de beste plek in het huis kregen. Als je op zoek bent naar echt goed eten, een ontspannen sfeer en ook nog trendy en hip dan zit je hier goed! Locals only dus beter kan niet.

L'albergo si trova in una posizione ottimale, vicino alla metro, al 28 ed al 15 per andare a Belem. Le stanze non spaziosissime, ma pulite e complete di tutto. Ottima l' accoglienza da parte dello staff. Ana parla Italiano che non guasta mai.

Lovely, unique hotel. Incredibly characterful place with lots of artwork and individual style. Couldn't be more conveniently located, just off the main square and just down from the castle. The rooms had a coffee maker, mini bar, safe, hair dryer, iron etc. The buffet breakfast was superb. The staff were really polite and helpful.

Very nice hotel with a great vibe in a highly convenient location to major attractions and transportation. Breakfast buffet was high quality and offered a good assortment. The only criticism would be the same as other comments, the opaque bathroom door doesn't offer the best privacy. Would definitely visit again!

No tienen parking ni convenio con el parking público de plaza de Figueira que está a 15 metros, aunque si lo tenían antes. El parking lo publicitan dentro de sus servicios bajo disponibilidad a 15 euros al día. Al no tener convenio cuesta 35 euros al día. Grave error bajo mi punto de vista. Personal muy amable y gran ubicación, pero si vas con coche no lo recomiendo

We stayed in a fantastic corner room with balconies overlooking both Rossio Square and the hustle and bustle of Rua Augusta. Our floor had the Zen Experience theme which had the loveliest smell!
The room itself is spacious and luxurious with a separate corner fitted with a sofa, the mini bar and a Nespresso coffee machine.
The bathroom and amenities were classy and the jetted bathtub filled with bubbles was an absolute treat!

hotel in pieno centro, due passi a piedi e si è ovunque, nonostante ciò è tranquillo e non ci sono rumori fastidiosi.
l'albergo è bello ed originale, le camere accoglienti e pulite, bagno non enorme ma spazioso e funzionale.

The staff who work here go above and beyond what is required of their role in order to help out, and make your stay go smoothly. Rooms are extremely well designed, and contain very high-quality furniture. Breakfast is varied and very good. The location is in the absolute centre of the historic Lisbon city centre, meaning that all attractions are within walking distance. Highly recommended.

4 stycken medelålders som besökte Lissabon för första gången. Väl mottagna i receptionen intog vi våra rum som var små och som hade dåligt med möjligheter att hänga av sig kläder.Vi hade inte bokat frukost, men den intogs ändå i den enkla restaurangen, vilken var stor och helt tillfredställande.

Personnel extrêmement aimable, serviable et efficace tant à la réception quau petit déjeuner, parlant tous anglais et souvent même le français. Nous avons obtenu une chambre plus spacieuse avec des lits jumeaux dès le deuxième nuit ce qui était plus confortable pour deux femmes. Un tout petit bémol quant au lavabo dans la salle de bains où il y a peu despace pour étaler les affaires de toilette. Nous avons pu effectuer lenregistrement de vol à lordinateur de lhotel et la réception a imprimé notre carte dembarquement. Quel service! Hotel très bien situé.

A modern and chic hotel, with different themed floors/rooms. The rooms are clean, cosy, and well equipped with amenities (coffee machine). Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotels restaurant Bastardo served delicious buffet breakfast, great way to start your day. Hotels situated in the heart of downtown Lisboa, close to Rossio square, and Castle of St. George. Great for public transport - buses, trams and trains. We enjoyed our welcome drinks. An excellent hotel, we highly recommended and will definitely stay again.

The staff is amazing - they help you with sight seeing information and are just very friendly. They took care of my car rental arrangements - even having the car dropped off and picked up from hotel. I also spilled orange juice on my clothes and they laundered them for free. Their rooms are very unique and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely return. Location of the hotel was perfect - walking distance to everything. Thank you Diago for everything!

it was great, the hotel is located in the middle of the city, right on Rossio Placa. The hotel is moderne with beautiful but small rooms and a nice restaurant: We had their breakfast/brunch which is a bit expensive but you can get anything from eggs, yoghurt and bread to homemade cakes and fruit salad and Nespresso coffee, great selection and very helpful staff.
The receptionists were very service minded and helpful. All in all a great place.

3 jours en couple à Lisbonne dans cet hôtel en plein centre ville. emplacement central, personnel accueillant, souriant et pleins de bons conseils pour les visites et les restaurants. Chambres sympathiques et propres.Très bon petit déjeuner.Seul bémol, les travaux en face de lhotel et le marteau piqueur en guise de chant du coq... mais on va dire que cest indépendant de leur volonté. Ahh, le jour où les autres pays auront les mêmes jours fériés quen France.... :-)

I absolutely loved the design of this hotel. It has such a relaxed, trendy atmosphere and the rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious. Walls looked newly painted and I couldnt stop but admire the amazing interior decoration. I think they could have placed some semi transparent curtains in the rooms though as the windows faced opposite buildings so you didnt really have any privacy unless you closed the dark curtains which was a shame because it was so nice and sunny outside. My room was facing both squares though which was nice and it wasnt too noisy despite the busy main street. Staff were very friendly and helpful though service was slow at times. Waited a while for my suitcase to arrive even though I was happy to take it with me in the first place and room service didnt always take 10min. Room service dining was well presented and was ok but the choice is very limited unfortunately. I was also hoping to see more Portuguese options on the menu which would have been a nice touch. The salads were great though. The cocktails in the bar were very nice and served in quirky glasses. You can buy lots of food and snacks around the corner but I couldnt find a nearby supermarket. Rossio station and the ciity sightseeing tour bus are so close and there are shops for shopping too. This hotel is great and so conveniently located. It is also in a safe area which was important to me as I am a single female traveller. Good quality soap and shampoo provided, some slippers would have been nice. I would highly recommend it.

Rooms are on the smaller side by North American standards, but they're really nice. What's nicer is the staff. Incredibly helpful and always cheerful. Will definitely stay here again.

We just spent five nighta at this hotel. First of all, the location is perfect: close to restaurants, shopping, the train station...eveything!The staff is friendly, professional and paid attention at all times. The hotel has a fun, fresh and clean interior. Our cocoon room (urban style) was quite small but very nice- clean, nice bedding, a Nespresso machine (!), and nice bathrobes.We really enjoyed the breakfast, it was amazing! The dining area is in a fantastic room with big windows towards the beautiful Rossio square.We truly recommend this hotel! Worth every single euro:)

The rooms are small but the location is super if you want to be in the center of the city. Mr. Diago from the front office was very helpful and he gave us very good tips about restaurants, attractions and how to go to Sintra by the coast. I think he's a value for the hotel.

Great location - although you'll have to travel for the best restaurants and bars - this really is like staying on Leicester Square.
The hotel's small, sweet and very clean, with plenty of interesting design touches. Our room wasn't huge or massively luxurious but included a Nespresso machine, a mini-bath (I really hate it when hotel rooms don't have baths) and a balcony with a beautiful views over Rossio. Each floor has it's own design concept with zen, urban, tribe and pop - we had zen, which meant an enormous fluffy bed and a calm colour scheme.
Special points go to the breakfast - not just for the delicious, fresh food (including mini pastel de nadas, mini fruit and canapes) but for the very reasonable timings - 7-11am.

Excellent location. Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful young staff. Cute decor--maybe too cute for some. Fine shower and air conditioning. BUT: hilariously small rooms (check the website for dimensions), esp. by North American standards, and North Americans clearly are the target clientele. Terrible lighting. And tiny little toiletries. So: 'way overpriced, by a third, and especially regrettable in a city and country that badly need tourist dollars/euros/pounds.
