Esqueci uma peça de roupa no quarto do hotel. Essa peça eu havia comprado no primeiro dia meu em Lisboa, estava ainda com etiqueta do preço. Assim que cheguei em Tomar e percebi que havia deixado no armário, liguei para recepção, que ficou de perguntar para a arrumadeira, que disse que não havia nada no quarto.
Muito perigoso, pois se não podemos confiar nos funcionários que entram em nosso quarto, como fazemos?
Portanto pensem bem antes de escolher esse hotel.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. They noticed it was my husbands 40th birthday and sent up a bottle of wine to the room as a surprise. We also loved that we could open the doors to the outside and sit at the little table and chairs provided. Would love to return to this hotel in the future.

Situation geo excellente qui fait en sorte qu on peut tout visiter a pied. Le dejeuner est tres diversifie et excellent. Chambre tres propre et tres moderne. Je recommande sans hesiter.

This is our second time staying there. A great location. Great service and great people. The included morning buffet is also excellent. Extra mile help and a very personable staff. The rooms have always been comfortable and clean. Highly recommended.

We were very delighted by the cosy and welcoming atmosphere we felt as soon as we entered the door.
Ricardo, the receptionist, was really professional and took care of us very well and we had a really great and relaxed time.
The staff is really well organized and the tables were constantly cleaned and made ready for the next customers.
Great music choice which was kept low enough to let the guests enjoying the time without being too intrusive.
We loved it. Strongly recommended.

Hôtel plein de charme. Nous avions la chambre avec la plus jolie vue selon le propriétaire!! A quelques minutes à pied seulement du centre ville, et très calme malgré tout.
Chambre très spacieuse et bien équipée.
Nous étions en lune de miel, et avons beaucoup apprécié les gentilles attentions à notre égard dans la chambre!!
Le petit déjeuner était vraiment bon, avec un "daily special" différents tous les jours... et toujours excellent!
Merci pour ce bon moment passé dans votre hôtel!

Had a great stay here. Lovely comfortable retro rooms. Beds amazingly comfy. Staff helpful and friendly. Let us leave our cases on last day so we had few last hours in Lisbon. Perfect location for centre. Restaurant food ok not my type but good breakfast choice.

Super Hotel mitten in der Altstadt. Dafür relativ ruhig. Gekonnte Innenarchitektur. Gute Betten freundliches Personal. Allerdings sind die Zimmer kein und es gibt kaum Schrankraum für die Bekleidung.

Muito bom hotel situado no centro histórico de Lisboa. É dispensável o uso de carro para quem se hospeda nessa região, o carro será um desserviço caro, pois não há vagas e os estacionamentos são muito caros. O hotel é aconchegante na parte social, um bistrô que funciona melhor no inverno. Os quartos são diferentes, com boas camas. Para quem quer visitar o centro histórico é uma opção muito boa.

I loved my stay at Browns! The owners were so friendly and made sure I felt at home during my entire stay. The rooms were clean, spacious and the balconies were quite lovely with views of Queenstown and the nearby mountains. The food was also amazing! When I come back to Queenstown, I am definitely staying at Browns again.

Nice hotel. Great location. Room clean and well presented. Staff helpful. Room advertised as having iPad and iMac but didn't. Overall experience was good. Hotel just needs to make sure the rooms are as advertised.

Was offered three different rooms in both Brown's Downtown and Brown's Boutique hotels. All with moldy wood in the bathrooms. A really strong moldy smell. Generally dirty and poorly maintained. Most of the room interior is old and not working.
In-room Ipad is disabled and the keyboard for the imac is not working. Hairdryer and coffee machines are moldy. TV has poor reception. Hot water takes minimum 5 minutes to arrive to the shower. So the general impression is really really bad.

Adorei o hotel, é muito aconchegante e com o melhor cardápio de café da manhã entre todos os hotéis que fiquei. Só achei um pouco exagerado de itens de decoração no quarto, ficou um pouco pesado. Mas só isso, o resto foi perfeito!

Неплохой отель в Старом городе. Рецепшен находится в помещении ресторана на первом этаже. Стильные номера, в номере есть мини кухня, кофемашина и т.д., хороший завтрак. В номере есть IPad, MacBook, не понял зачем. Из минусов - слабый сигнал Wi-Fi, двуспальная кровать состоит из двух матрасов, которые разъезжаются и получается неудобная щель. Но в общем нам понравилось в отеле.

Os quartos são muito bonitos mas pouco práticos . A cama dupla junta não faz sentido para duas pessoas no mesmo quarto . Os candeeiros enormes sobre as camas são a causa de alguns "ouch" . Bom serviço e bastante fácil de acesso a transportes .

Hotel in posizione centralissima, pulito con margine di miglioramento, molto cortesi e parlano abbastanza bene l'italiano. Ovviamente non c'é il bidet, la camera non è molto grande ma pare che a Lisbona lo standard sia questo. Ci sono 2 grandi sportelli in cui in uno c'é la doccia ed è molto agevole e nell'altro il wc, questo è molto piccolo e con la porta chiusa di rischia di battere le ginocchia sulla porta stessa. Alla fine dei conti poco pratico. Bella, e di effetto la consolle con il lavandino. Ti offrono un cocktail di benvenuto ed uno sconto del 10% per un pasto nel loro bistrot.

Good location, and although I wasn't there for very long the staff were efficient, the room was clean with some nice design touches (including a Marshall speaker) and reasonably priced. The restaurant was good but quite expensive (- although in keeping with the Baixa generally).

The staff are very friendly and helpful and put themselves out to assist in every possible way. The food and drink was extremely good and there was plenty of it. Our room was spacious with all the comforts you could want. A lovely bottle of Portuguese wine was there on our arrival and a computer for internet access.

We stayed four days at the hotel. Great location, small hotel with friendly stuff BUT we had the shower in the room! And the shower stood only 1 meter from the bed.
No wordrobe, just a hanger in the room where the lavatory was located (not a bathroom since this room dosent have a prober/normal bathroom).

Great location within easy walking distance of restaurants, the waterfront and Bob’s peak. Spacious quiet rooms with eveything you need and very friendly owners who were happy to accommodate an early breakfast for us and who had great recommendations on where to go. Lovely garden and really good breakfast.

We stayed 3 nights. Peter-Ray & son couldn't have been nicer. The room was clean and amenities adequate for our needs. GREAT location, on a bit of a hill that affords nice views.
I would definitely recommend.

Je mets 2 étoiles pour l' emplacement idéal, la gentillesse de l' équipe, l' ambiance du restaurant.Par contre, je ne pensais pas qu' il existe encore des chambres avec juste un lavabo dans un encadrement de fenêtre direct dans la chambre, rien pour suspendre gants et serviettes, heureusement douche et wc séparés. Une fenêtre plus ou moins condamnée ouvre sur une arrière cour, juste au dessus des évacuations d' air et autres ....Pour finir, inondation dans la chambre, due paraît il aux pluies de la journée....Ne pas hésiter si vous devez aller dans cet hotel à réserver une chambre supérieure, mais ça, il fallait le savoir !

Excelente service, the cutest bar/restaurant, really good hamburgers. Great great beds, good wifi and good use of space. Beyond great location, worth every penny. Only thing, showers, first of all, really small but more important, at least mine was near to impossible to regulate, I burned myself trying, so, maybe thats something you could take care of, otherwise, excellent experience. Big thumbs up.

Peu de choix pour manger au restaurant mais très bon plats ( surtout les hamburgers portugais!!)

Vue sur une "coure intérieur" et sur des tuyaux d'aération.. Dommage...
Dommage également que ça deux lits simples coller..
Mais sinon très bon séjour !! Je recommande!!

Very good location, we had a castle view suite .The room was spacious, bed and bedding good.Restaurant, very simple menu but good quality and value. Only criticism,no laundry service, no toilet paper holder, and some maintenance issues.

After arriving at the hotel and being ushered to the front desk inside their street level dining/bar, we never ceased receiving the most courteous, friendly, detailed and spot-on service we’ve ever received in a hotel. The staff go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need to make your stay the best - from directions to attractions to cab arrangements to power converter loaners, nothing was left to chance. The location could not have been more central to everything we wanted to do. We would certainly stay at Brown’s Boutique Hotel again and hope to do so again soon.

Great central location for a sight-seeing tour within reasonable walking of a lot of restaurants. There is also a metro station nearby for those further afield attractions. Our hotel room was spacious, there staff are friendly and efficient and the breakfast is good. There is a restaurant with tables both inside and outside and a reasonable menu.

Excellent breakfast, check, central location, check, friendly caring staff, check. Our first trip to Lisboa was truly enhanced by staying at this boutique hotel. The central location allowed for an adventurous walk to all known locations and to all the neighborhoods we had the pleasure of experiencing on our walk to and from all that Lisbon has to offer. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely hotel to others along with staying again for our next visit to such a beautiful vibrant city!

The best location in the center of lisbon and the staff Was amazing! They have been so helpful for us and made our visit a very pleasant one :) there is a metro station right next to the hotel. The entrance to the hotel is inside the bistro bar. We enjoyed the visit!

5 star experience, and not at a 5 star price!! Amazing value!!! The staff was WONDERFUL, patient and helpful, especially in giving suggestions for our activities. The location is central and close to public transport. The rooms are clean, and very cute!!! There is even a speaker to play music via Bluetooth. Highly highly recommend ! My only negative comment is that there is a very small sign for the hotel. Entrance is through Browns Bistro restaurant and reception desk is tiny. Happy travels! #TravelWithShi

This place is magical. The food, the ambiance, the rooms. They are all top notch! The central location is outstanding as you can reach anywhere in the city. The breakfast was delightful and tasty, and their burgers are better then anything in North America. They are also close to very affordable parking lots. I will be coming back to stay!

The property has its own unique style, not just a cookie cutter hotel. I was there for my birthday and the staff was very gracious. I was greeted with a bottle of champagne in my room. Central location, close to restaurants, shopping and historic sites! Loved it! ❤️❤️

The staff here were one of the warmest welcomes I have had. The location is great for a short stay in Lisbon. Close to tourist facilities, and staff were great in helping to answer all queries I had.

Just a lovely couple of days in Lisbon. The hotel was fine except for part of the bathroom sink mixer was broken. It really was no big deal for us. Breakfast was lovely, the concierge was so helpful and the walking tour arranged by the hotel was first class

Well located hotel,rooms smallish but ok, a lot of clutter in the rooms (books,radios and what have you). Dark corridors, but that seems to be the standard for most hotels.Helpful staff, good breakfast selection. No evening meals, but there is a Browns restaurant a few minutes away that is open all day, we were given a 10% discount card for all drinks/unincluded meals on check-in.

Un hotel bastante céntrico con un gastrobar en la recepción. La atención es excelente y las habitaciones están completamente equipadas, con camas cómodas y baños bastante cómodos. Huele a humedad en las habitaciones, parece un problema de mantenimiento de tuberías. Además el servicio de desayuno buffet es bastante completo y variado, todo muy rico.

Les chambres ne sont pas grandes mais bien agencées. Attention par contre aux dégâts causés par l'humidité des douches visiblement plus jolies que pratiques. Superbe localisation et un excellent service de la part de toute l'équipe. Que ce soit pour des conseils aux touristes (aussi en français) que pour le service au restaurant.

Spent 4 comfortable nights at Browns Boutique Hotel. Excellent location, helpful staff, good breakfast, clean and spacious room. Bistro serves good food. Only negative was it took awhile to find when we arrived at 1:30 in morning. Signage not very clear as the hotel sits above the bistro.

Nebst der Lage des Hotels war auch das Personal 1A! Wir kamen morgens um 10 Uhr im Hotel an. Klar, das Zimmer war noch nicht bezugsbereit. Aber er hat angeboten, dass er uns anruft sobald es bereit wäre. Er hat uns auch gleich empfohlen, was er so für den heutigen Tag machen würde. Fanden wir super!Am Abend vor der Abreise haben sie uns sogar noch eine Frühstücksbox zusammengestellt, da wir morgens keine Zeit hatten zum frühstücken. Auch bei Reservationen in Restaurants waren sie sehr behilflich. Alles in Allem total zufrieden!!!

Cet hôtel est idéalement situé tout proche du métro Baixo Chiado et de la place du commerce. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et les produits de bonne qualité. Les chambres sont propres avec une bonne literie. C'est un vieux bâtiment avec un joli décor, juste mal insonorisé. Nous le recommandons vivement.

Staff helpful and always with a smile on their face. Themed 40/50s decoration makes it an interesting place. Leakage from the shower and sink in my small room led to puddles .......... both shower and sink were in the same room as the bed. The somewhat cramped conditions were not a problem for me; single visitor, spending most of my time out and about, I just needed a comfortable bed. I would go back but be more choosey about the room.

I had booked a small room at Brown's Boutique Hotel via booking for me, my wife and our daughter who is three years old and can sleep in our bed. When we arrived, we found out that the room was too small for us. There was no space for unpacking the baggage and the bathroom was in the room. We slept there the first night, but then decided that we could not stay there longer
As we has paid in advance for 4 days, I told the guy at the reception that we had booked by mistake a room that was too small for us and asked if he had a larger room free we could move to by paying the extra. He told me that I had what I had paid (??), checked and there were no other rooms. Than I asked if we could get some money back if we moved out (so they could sell our room again), but he said no. As we had friends staying in an apartment, I told him that we were then moving with them, keeping the room only to store our baggage and he was ok with it (!!).
We moved out, but when I passed by again to pick up something Manuel, the manager, came to me and offered us a suite in the nearby Brown's Downtown for no extra charge. The room was very nice and far larger. So, although the first guy was annoying, they treated us very well, doing much more than what they were supposed or asked to do (the booking was our mistake in the first place). Both hotels are nice and the staff is very helpful, although not all of them

Un hôtel accueillant et un personnel très serviable, qui sur notre demande nous a réservé tous les restaurants durant notée séjour.Une déco style Vintage, soignée.Une situation parfaite au centre ville, et pratique car proche d'une station de métro, même si le plaisir sera de parourir Lisbonne à pied.Petit déjeuner correct et équilibré.Un petit bémol quant au service en chambre : 1er jour, oubli des amenities, 3ème jour, oubli des serviettes de bain, et 4ème jour, oubli des capsules de café. Nous ne nous sommes pas pour autant fâchés mais il a chaque fois fallu appeler la réception, qui nous a fait monté le nécessaire rapidement.Nous recommandons volontiers cet hôtel.

The room and the hotel look nice but. You get a 10% discount on their restaurant and have a fast wi-fi connection.
The room had no shelf, drawer or something I could put my clothes. No table in the room. The pillows were too thick to get a straight position. I also believe this is the cheapest room they had. It wasn't me who made the booking.

Met some friends at the Baixa-Caido stop and we only had a brief moment to socialize. We picked this place because it was close. Service was fine, at first but the lemonade we ordered was so sour that even after we put six packets of sugar apiece into our drinks, it was still undrinkable. We complained and that's where things went south. When it came time for the check, they ignored us. I went up to ask for it and was told it would come. It didn't. As I mentioned, we only had a brief time and the staff spitefully wasted it because we didn't expect to be given straight lemon juice and had the gall to say something about it. Stay away from this tourist trap.

Nunca me senti tão mal recebida num espaço tão distinto quanto este, tal como a minha amiga. O espaço apesar de bem decorado e ser acolhedor, empobrece com a falta de qualidade do staff e até mesmo a sua própria antipatia. Vimos na carta um chocolate quente em chávena, com um determinado preço, e tempos depois de termos feito o pedido, perguntam-nos pelo tamanho em copo. Ficamos um pouco confusas, mas à mesma pedimos o mais pequeno. Estávamos sentadas relativamente perto do bar, e consebguíamos ouvir a manager a gritar e a fazer o seu staff se sentir desconfortável, juntamente com os consumidores. Ao pedirmos a conta, veio-nos um preço diferente do que tínhamos visto na carta, e perguntamos o porquê, e disseram-nos que era por ter sido o copo em tamanho pequeno. Não tínhamos sido informada dos preços, visto na carta só constar de um único valor de chocolate quente. Ao sair, deixamos o dinheiro em cima da mesa por estar a demorar algum tempo em nos finalizarem a conta, e após termos saído da porta, vem a mesma manager atrás de nós a dizer que não tínhamos pago pelo nosso consumo. Segundos depois, vem a mesma rapariga que nos tinha servido a dizer que afinal o dinheiro se encontrava em cima da mesma. Uma experiência desagradável, no seu geral.

The room was disgusting. No glassesl, no bar fridge, shower that leaked all through room and a screaming baby that just didnt give up from the apartment block next door. The entire experience was extremely disappointing. I would never stay there again let alone recommend it to some poor unexpected victim

Super Lage. Herziges, ausergewöhnliches Hotel, wirklich wie in einer Boutique mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Nur das kleine Zimmer war wirklich sehr klein: Nur gerade das Bett mit einem knappen halben Meter rundum. Das Fenster zum Lichtschacht musste man direkt suchen. Eines war hinter einer Tür, wenn die geöffnet wäre hätte man ein Platzproblem und das andere Fenster würde allen den Blick aufs Klo verschaffen... Alles war sehr ringhörig. Aber das Ambiente machte das alles halb so schlimm. Trotzdem würden wir wieder dahib gehen.

Dieses Hotel war für uns ein Volltreffer! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Frühstück lecker, vielseitig und abwechslungsreich. Die Zimmer waren klein, gemütlich und stilvoll eingerichtet, das Bad modern und schick, alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Lage könnte nicht besser sein, zentral, mitten in der Altstadt, Metro um die Ecke. Nachts gab es moderate Geräuschkulisse von den Menschen in den Gassen, bei geschlossenen Fenstern war davon nichts mehr zu hören. Das Hotel ist klein und sehr gemütlich, wer eine Alternative zu einer großen Hotelkette sucht ist hier genau richtig.

Das Hotel befindet sich direkt an der bekannten Einkaufsstrasse und in der Nähe des Hafens sowie dem Ausgangsviertel Bairro Alto (ca. 8min. zu Fuss). Ausserdem befindet sich die U-Bahn Station nur wenige Meter entfernt. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet und das Personal war jederzeit freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat ebenfalls sehr überzeugt, es war reichhaltig und frisch zubereitet. Das Hotel ist sehr empfehlenswert!

Abstriche vom sonst guten Gesamteindruch stellte die permanente und zu laut eingestellte Dauerberieselung von Lobby und Restaurantbereich mit immer gleicher Musik dar.Badezimmer hatte nur unzureichende Möglichkeiten Handtücher aufzuhängen.Zweiter Spiegel im Wohnbereich fehlte.

I love this hotel. Clean and very well-designed. We rented the small interior room, the room was small but the spacing was efficient there was even a small sink and kitchen counter with a Nespresso machine. Feels very homey and the bistro downstairs has great burgers. Breakfast is buffet style with 3 selections of warm food, very basic but good enough for 10EUR.

My partner and I stayed here for our anniversary and had an amazing time.The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, they even had a bottle of champagne on ice for our arrival!The location is right in the city centre, we never had to walk more than 15mins to get to an attraction.We will definitely be back in the new year.

Das Hotel ist Hervorragend. Die Zimmer sind geschmakvoll eingerichtet. Lediglich, dass die Dusche und die Toilette direkt im Zimmer sind (keine abgetrenne Nasszelle), war ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig. Das Frühstück war sensationell und das Pesonal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.Die Lage ist sensationell, direkt an der Flaniermeile von Lissabon.Wir werden auch beim nächsten Aufenthalt wieder dort einchecken!

EL hotel no puede estar más bien situado. A un minuto de la estación de baixa-chiado, desde donde se puede ir andando a todo el centro histórico.A 35minutos del aeropuerto en metro.El diseño es espectacular, muy vanguardista, de tipo industrial-vintage.El único pero que le pongo es que en la habitación que me dieron la primera noche la cama era muy incómoda, pero me la cambiaron sin ningún problema cuando me quejé. El personal es muy amable. En la recepción hay una cafetería muy recomendable.Cuando vuelva a Lisboa repetiré seguro en Browns Downtown.

Gute Lage, nettes Cafe im Erdgeschoss, wo man frühstückt. Aber unser Zimmer: So eng, dass man Probleme hat, einen geeigneten Platz für die Koffer zu finden. Platz ist vorm französischen Balkonfenster, was man damit aber verbaut. Den zweiten Koffer mussten wir auf das Ceranfeld der kleinen Küche legen. Größtes Problem war das Bad. Es war ständig von Geruch aus dem Abwasserkanal erfüllt. Die Entlüftung des Bades funktionierte nicht. Sobald man die Badezimmertür öffnet, stinkt es im gesamten Hotelzimmer.
Außerdem: Zwar sind ein iMac und ein iPad (angeschraubt) vorhanden, aber beide Geräte funktionierten nicht. Brauchten wir auch nicht, da wir eigenen Laptop mithaben.

Das Hotel ist super zentral, direkt an der Haupteinkaufsmeile von Lissabon und direkt neben der Metro-Haltestelle Chiado gelegen. Die Rezeption befindet sich im Browns Coffee-Shop und ist während 24 Stunden besetzt. Das Zimmer war grosszügig und modern eingerichtet und war sauber und täglich gereinigt. Alles notwendige war vorhanden. Leider wurden während unseres Aufenthaltes Renovationen vorgenommen, weshalb wir am frühen Morgen von lauten Bohrmaschinen geweckt wurden. Zudem hat ein Arbeiter ein Kabel beschädigt, weshalb am ersten Abend unseres Aufenthaltes das Internet nicht funktionierte, wurde am nächsten Tag aber bereits repariert. Alles in allem aber ein sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft.

Es un apartamento bonito. La decoración es muy moderna y funcional. Sorprende que en la habitación haya un ordenador mac, un ipad y un plato para discos de vinilo!!!!... una pasada. Al ser un apartamento también tiene una pequeña cocina con un montón de cosas incluida plancha, termo, aspirador portátil y amplia cubertería y vajilla.
