Die 5 Sterne des Hotels, die Bilder der Hotelanlage und nicht zuletzt die verlangten Preise lassen den Gast etwas erwarten, was - meine subjektive Meinung - nie und nimmer erfüllt wird. Das Personal ist bestenfalls "bemüht", die gesamte Einrichtung ist in die Jahre gekommen und zudem billig und geschmacklos, das Essen entspricht dem einer Kantine - nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Sehr unangenehm sind auch die verschiedenen Gerüche im Hotel (beginnt gleich in der Lobby). Schön ist der Ausblick von den Zimmern aufs Meer.
Wir hatten trotzdem einen netten Aufenthalt und ich bin in keiner Weise verärgert aber ich möchte die Möglichkeit nutzen, zukünftige Interessenten darauf hinzuweisen, dass dieses Hotel in keiner Weise den (wohl meisten) Erwartungen entsprechen wird.

Sehr viel Luft nach oben. Die 5 Sterne sind wirklich nicht gegeben. Das Management versagt hier total (Service, Freundlichkeit, Aufmerksamkeit fehlen komplett). Maximal 4 Sterne! Aber wegen Täuschung und Abzocke von mir nur 2 Sterne.

This hotel is the perfect place for s sum holiday. 4 restaurants, great food, 4 swimming pools and just a couple of hundred metres from the wonderful Salgados beach. This is a nicely sophisticated resort.

We spent a lovely few days resting and enjoying the wall to wall sunshine. The hotel was everything we would expect, very clean, bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. Our only small comment would be the food which we felt was not up to 5* compared with other 5* hotels we have stayed in. There was always plenty of choice and fresh fruit.

It was an amazing holiday! We enjoyed very much in VidaMar Resort. Room was clean, good enough for 4 people. Nice View and wonderful for relaxation. 3 outdoors pools catered for grow up, kids and babies. A nice beach was just within a few minutes walk. Foods were delicious. Should return.

Very satisfying stay (end of May). Rooms are modern and clean. Restaurants are particularly good for an hotel on the beach (including the buffet). Very good with kids.

Excellent resort in Algarve. Great breakfast- and dinner - buffets. Enough friendly & helpful staff. Great service. Several outdoor pools, not heated. Small indoor pool, heated, but on -1. Very clean. Kids club with fun activities. Beautiful and clean beach very nearby. Visited last week of May with family with 2 seven year - old girls. Perfect weather. Mind that early check-in is not possible.

Really enjoyed our stay here, the staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very clean and spacious, the balcony was a good size and the view was nice. The two restaurants are great, we had two 6 olds and visited both. Although the fusion place isn't recommended for kids they allowed us to split a single 3 course menu between the two which was more than sufficient for both. The restaurants are not included as part of the half board option but you do get 15 off per adult and 7.50 per child. The buffet is good too but I prefer table service over the buffet madness with kids. The pools are plenty spacious and not overcrowded at all. The staff let us hold into towel cards and gave us access cards to all general areas upon checkout which allowed us to fully enjoy the last day there before the flight home. The beach is also a very short walk down from the pools iand is well worth the walk. We all really enjoyed our stay at Vidamar and would definitely recommend it l.

L'hôtel est PLUS que magnifique, le Buffet du petit déjeuner est plus que EXTRAS, la villa est MAGNIFIQUE.
La literie est SUPERBE, la piscine de la villa était un peu froide.
Juste un petit bémol, le personnel n'est pas trop accueillant et ne parle pas Français.
Sinon à refaire Milles fois.

Una ottima struttura ad un passo dal mare e ad un passo dal campo da golf ... Poi se ti annoi c'è una piscina gigante ed una piccola con bar incorporato. Cibo curato e vario ! Superconsigliato

This hotel is not near nightlife - so look elsewhere if that’s what you’re after.
As a spa resort I can recommend the hotel and in particular the spa.
Guests are not allocated sea view rooms - you have to pay for an upgrade and although I did this I was not allocated the building most exposed to the sea.
The beach is 10 minutes walk so the claims of listening to the waves when you sleep are inaccurate.
Reception staff can be very slow.
The breakfast here is truly superior and should be applauded. I’m particularly grateful for the basket of gluten free products.
The Asian restaurant is outstanding quality and highly recommended.
The rooms are clean and well equipped - even having an English plug.
Despite not having had a response from the hotel to an email sent since I left, overall - highly recommended.

It was great located, close to the beach and quiet location. We got upgraded to a sea view room. Rooms are massive and very comfy. The service was professional and friendly.

Très bel hôtel, suite magnifique, l'accueil et la disponibilité des gens est incroyable. Les gens du service de nettoyage sont adorables et très efficaces. Le petit déjeuné est complet, il y en a pour tous les gouts, pour toutes les envies, nous n'avions jamais vu un choix aussi large et de qualité. Aux alentours de l’hôtel il y a des plages de rêves, des petits restos extras. Une semaine parfaite, nous reviendrons!!

Stayed here 4 times now.
Service standards seem to have dropped since we first started going.
The staff, although friendly don't seem as competent and attentive as before.
Some areas have had a refurbishment since our last visit, which is an improvement.
The crescent moon swimming pool used to be heated which was one of the main draws for us as a family in the sometimes chilly Easter holidays. However this seems to have now gone, so is as cold as the other pools and the Atlantic ocean! Brrr!
Seems to be a lot of ongoing building work and refurbishment of the external areas as well as the Italian restaurant which was closed during our visit which is a shame as it's a nice restaurant to eat in.
There was quite often left over food/rubbish/glasses laying around the outside seating areas in the mornings, left out and not cleared away from the night before. Rather unsightly for a 5 star hotel.
Annoying queue for evening meals in the main restaurant, just to be shown to a table. Never had this in previous visits. The standard of food was good but not as good as previous visits. The selection and variety is a lot less than before.
You can eat from the pool bar but is expensive. We ordered one serving of chicken goujons and fries for our 2 kids to share, 2 soft drinks, 1 beer and a pina colada came to just over €40!
We didn't use it again. There is a good supermarket just a 5 minute walk away for snacks and water etc which we made full use of on a near daily basis.
Summary, used to be 5 star excellence now mediocre, I'd only rate a maximum of 4 stars now.

El hotel está espectácular. Habitaciones super grandes y de muy bien gusto. El área de la piscina inmejorable, Moderno, limpio, nuevo, acogedor.

Les chambres sont spacieuses, le buffet est bon sans plus, piscine très agréable surtout hors vacances scolaires si vous voulez être tranquille, la plage est à 200m, vous pouvez faire de grandes balades ce qui est le point fort de l’hotel, la flore est protégée avec de nombreuses espèces d’oiseaux

Bodde i leilighet med 2 soverom, kjøkken, basseng på terrassen. Stor og fin, litt steril, så mer stilfull enn hjemmekoselig. Garasje under leiligheten med enkel adgang for deg med bil, lettvint. Hotellfrokosten er helt ypperlig. Hotellområdet er luksuriøst både utvendig og innvendig, stort, så litt avstander når man skal gå hit og dit. Fin strand nedenfor hotellet.

Hotel was exceptional, modern, clean and great staff and massive rooms, showers also were fantastic. 2 negatives, they give you 1 free bottle of water on the first night but there after is €3.5 for 75cl, surely they could give 1 bottle per day? Other negative is that it is not really walking distance to anywhere but saying that taxis are plenty and you never wait long so overall had a great stay and would go back.

Instalaciones bien en general, habitación muy bien, grande, con buena terraza cama cómoda y buen wifi. Lo peor es que habia muchos niños y según la web hay un espacio solo para adultos q no existía realmente, lo estaban costruyendo. Entonces nos tocó estar en la piscina común aguantando los gritos y carreras de los críos.
Deberían avisar en la web de que no está disponible la zona para adultos q anuncian, igual no hubieramos escogido este hotel, q veniamos a descansar.

Was over for a conference so I didn't get to enjoy the hotel as much as I could. Ordered room service which was pricey for a local but probably quite acceptable to tourists and the food was well made and the portions were generous. Most of the staff was quite friendly. Breakfast was amazing, varied, fresh ingredients, loads of choices and local as well as international dishes. The spa was well worth it. Enjoy!

El hotel es precioso y el buffet está a otro nivel, pro veo un problema que el spa haya que pagarlo a parte, sobre todo porque no te dejan entrar al hotel hasta las cuatro de la tarde, cuesta un ojo de la cara el circuito de spa y cierra a las seis y media, por lo cual a menos que vaya a echar todo el día dentro mejor no te lo pienses...
Por otro lado si es invierno tienes la piscina interior a veintiocho grados, que aún así da fresquete, no es que haya muchas actividades que hacer dentro del hotel, aunque la localización es preciosa.
Han puesto gran atención al detalle, tienes juego de zapatillas, muchas toallas y albornoces, juego de té en la habitación y una cama enorme que es súper cómoda.
Quizás un poco caro para no tener ni un jacuzzy incluido en el precio.

This is our third time in Vidamar and we absolutely love it. It has lots of activities for children. And the outdoor pool is just fantastic. The views are awesome and the golden sand beach with crystal clear water is stunning. Staff is so friendly n helpful. Vidamar in Algarve is our favourite destination.

Un hôtel de rêve près des falaises incroyables de l'Algarve.
Tout y est top : la chambre avec vue sur la piscine, la palmeraie et la mer. Le buffet du petit déjeuner et du dîner est à volonté et nous offre une richesse de saveurs.
La piscine extérieure est exceptionnelle.
Le seul bémol est le spa qui pourrait être rénové et les deux piscines intérieures plus chaudes.

Lovely hotel, staff were excellent and the room was delightful. The facilities were great and the food was nice with lots of variety. The only thing I would have liked would be if an all inclusive option could have been booked. Everything else was great, would definitely recommend and would go back!

Fantastic long weekend spent celebrating with family. A good hotel right on the beautiful beach perfect for a stroll. Would highly recommend the Asian restaurant,the food was excellent everyone was impressed, staff were also happy to adapt menu for a vegetarian alternative. Staff all very friendly, great service on the whole.

Excellent hotel. Went in March 2019 for a week, was probably half full with some variance for a couple of weddings. Excellent service, friendly helpful staff, large comfortable rooms with excellent showers. Breakfast excellent and evening buffet very good too. Lovely main pool, two pools for kids if that matters to you, and moments from a beautiful beach via the private walkway. Highly recommended.

The hotel is absolutely stunning. All well maintained. The staff are lovely and friendly. The rooms are large and spacious. Definitely worth getting a room with a view. The cocktails are delicious. The breakfast buffet caters for all tastes. Leisure facilities are fabulous. The beach is right beside the resort. If you follow the boardwalk you will come to a beach cafe. Beautiful to sit in and have a smoothie or in the evening sit in and watch the sun set.
Just as a side note we got ripped off by the taxi from the airport to the Hotel. Recommend arranging transfers in advance or get an Uber.

Nice hotel, check in is at 3pm not 24 hour as stated. Overall pretty good. Service isnt the best on the reception desk but everywhere else is ok. The food is decent but not much choice for younger children.

Ok experience, not great. The family room was smaller. The food was just ok. There was no ironing board in the room. The spa came with additional charges. Kids were not allowed to the spa even with charges. On the contrary the hotel resort is a family resort.

Worst check-in experience ever. While booking we requested early check-in at around 1:00 PM, but they made us wait (that too with a 1 year old kid) till 3:00 saying that it is our hard check-in policy. And person at the customer service, was extremely rude. He was not even sorry for not e-mailing us that your request cannot be met and kept arguing with me. I can't understand what hospitality means to them. Also, the baby area is very pathetic. No toys at all.

This is a five star hotel with two star service and a three restaurant, which is in fact abLas Vegas style buffet. The redeeming features are the location next to a fabulous wetland nature reserve, and the rooms, especially the wonderful showers!

Wow! Just enjoyed my stay here. I think everyone has their own experience but I've to say that the staff at this hotel treated me very well during my entire stay. They made sure everything was alright by checking in at regular intervals.
As a kind gesture they arranged a three course meal at one of their top restaurant to make my birthday extra special.
I wish I knew the names of those who made this stay extra special.
Thank you again for everything you surely have a guest for lifetime. Keep up the great job!

Good value for money. Very nice location and good ambiance.
The compulsory hf board is below par for a 5 star establishment. If you are a vegetarian def dont opt for a half board as there is not much option.

Very beautiful and comfortable hotel. Really enjoyed our stay. Room, facilities, staff were all excellent. A little far from bars, nightlife and things to do. Having said that, we visited in February, low season. Would definitely stay again though. Car hire recommended.

Hôtel 5*. Hall de réception majestueux. Chambres climatisées avec balcon donnant sur la palmeraie les piscines et l'océan. Literie extrêmement confortable. Les buffets sont très qualitatifs variés et recherchés. On y passe de très bons moments.

Tout est au niveau de sa classification : La taille et le confort de la chambre, les petits déjeuners et les diners fabuleux (présentation, fraîcheur, qualité, diversité). La belle piscine couverte, très appréciable hors saison. Les bars, l'ambiance feutrée, l'attention, la gentillesse des équipes et l'ensemble des services ont rendu notre séjour parfait et inoubliable !

Nous sommes allez en famille pour profiter d’un week-end en famille et nous détendre dans le centre de santé, en arrivant à l’hôtel nous ne sommes aperçus que le kids club était fermé et comme l’accès au spa est interdit aux moins de 16 nous n’avons pas pu profiter. Ensuite nous avons décider de manger au restaurant de l’hôtel un resto italien qui lui aussi était fermé et donc un à manger à l’autre restaurant avec dinner buffet, la plupart de la nourriture était immangeable de l’industriel à 95% de basse qualité. Bref une expérience qui au lieu d’être un week-end en famille de détente à tourner au cauchemar.

Die Lage des Hotels ist Super und auch die Busanbindungen sind gut. Das Frühstück sowie das Abendessen hat uns nicht überzeugt. Wir waren in der Pizzeria an mehreren Abenden essen, diese war deutlich besser. Das Personal kam oft gestresst und überfordert rüber sodass sie sich nur auf das abräumen von Tischen konzentriert haben und nicht auf die Gäste. Ein Supermarkt ist etwa 10-15 Gehminuten entfernt. Den Strand erreicht man über einen Holzsteg und die Liegen sind öffentlich - entweder für einen Tag mietbar oder gleich für mehrere

Hôtel situé dans un endroit calme et accessible en voiture, vous pouvez vous garer en face de l'hôtel.
Hall de l'hôtel magnifiquement décoré, avec pleins de sapins de noël. Endroit très propre, bonne odeur. Personnel très accueillant, souriant, font l'effort de parler notre langue. A notre écoute.
La chambre est spacieuse, propre. Le lit est confortable. Le coin salle de bain est très bien. Peignoir et chausson pour spa fournie.
Accès piscine et spa magnifique, propre, reposant. Accès spa à 10€ la journée. Bonnet de bain obligatoire 5€.
Le buffet restaurant est très bien, varié. Il est vrai que le restaurant peut vite faire cantine si il y a du monde. La consommation de boisson au dîner est payante même l'eau.
Accès à la plage privatisé et direct depuis l'hôtel. Espace extérieur très propre. Vraiment je recommande cet hôtel !

Tanto el lugar como las instalaciones son geniales, es todo muy bonito y dispone de acceso a la playa a un paso desde el mismo hotel. En general mi experiencia ha sido muy buena, pero lo dejo en tres estrellas por un par de motivos.
En primer lugar se cobran 20€ adicionales por entrar al spa, que a demás de ser muy pequeño solo dispone de una piscina de agua fría, un jacuzzi en el que caben dos personas y una sauna y baño turco también a una temperatura baja.
Y por otra parte el buffet es bastante reducido si eres vegetariano/vegano o no te gusta comer a base de carne o pescado todos los días.
No obstante hago inciso en que las instalaciones y el servicio son excelentes y recomiendo el lugar para pasar unos días.

Empfehlung des Restaurants Mama Mia, welches aber geschlossen ist. Erst später wird uns erklärt, dass das Restaurant umgezogen ist.
Kein Schirm verfügbar. Wir müssen im Regen zum geschlossenen Restaurant Mama Mia laufen.
Keine Handtuchkarten erhalten. Erst am Pool erfahren wir von der Notwendigkeit. Wir müssen also nochmal zur Rezeption laufen.
Wir bekommen einen Spa-Flyer in portugiesischer Sprache, obwohl wir aus Deutschland anreisen.
Von 6 Restaurants und Bars sind nur 3 geöffnet.
Lobby/ Lobby Bar:
Im Barback stehen Gin Sorten, die man nicht bestellen kann. Der Barman antwortet, diese Gin Sorten sind nur Dekoration.
Getränkeservice ohne Servietten, Stirrer und Nüssen oder Chips. Aber 1 Gin Tonic kostet 16€.
Kamin wird am Abend nicht angemacht, obwohl es kühl ist. Keine Atmosphäre.

Recommendation of the restaurant Mama Mia, which is closed. Only later we are told that the restaurant has moved.
No screen available. We have to walk in the rain to the closed restaurant Mama Mia.
No towel cards received. Only at the pool we learn of the need. So we have to walk to the reception again.
We get a fun-flyer in portuguese, although we are from germany.
Out of 6 restaurants and bars, only 3 are open.
Lobby / Lobby Bar:
In the Barback are gin varieties that we can not order. The barman replies that these gin varieties are just decoration.
Beverage service without napkins, stirrers and nuts or chips. But 1 gin tonic costs 16 €.
Fireplace is not turned on in the evening, although it is cool. No atmosphere.
No lobby staff greet guests on arrival or when leaving. Nobody ask if there could assist or help.

Nice hotel with good facilities swimming pool ,gym and spar. Good size rooms that are clean . The breakfast buffet is brilliant but the evening meal not quite so good. This hotel is close to Salgardos golf course. The hotel offers a free bus into albufeira.

A week ago we returned from Vidamar and Iand we enjoyed our stay yet we did not receive the room we had booked here with our travel age t...we had paid for resort view not parking lot view....i was surprised there was no iron in the room
.yet laundry service only was available at$12 -$22 cdnas each piece..
All the tours we took we had to walk two roundabouts away
We found this unusual we weren't picked up at the hotel.also upon leaving to go to the Airport the busdri er parked at the road or the
entrance and told us to bring g our luggage to the bus...no assistance offered
.Staff was very friendly but in no way cared to rectify the room we had paid for.
Lovely country...and our vacation would have been excellent had we received the room we paid for

Este Resort é um dos melhores no Algarve, Fica localizado na primeira linha da praia dos Salgados. São apenas 5min a pé, através de um passadiço de madeira. As piscinas são fabulosas, três ao ar livre, com fundo azul e duas interiores, todas elas de água salgada. O SPA está muito bem concebido, sendo que os tratamentos são de elevada qualidade. Tem também uma piscina de jactos, hidromassagem, sauna e banho turco. Dois ginásios, sendo um deles um pouco mais completo com custo adicional que está localizado no SPA. A nível de alimentação existe o Buffet, com muita variedade e com alternativas para vegetarianos. O restaurante OLIVO MEAT & Wine é simplesmente divinal. O staff do hotel é muito prestável, rápido e eficiente. Para quem tem bébés, também é óptimo, pois têm chaleira no quarto para aquecer água e mini frigorífico. O pequeno almoço também é bastante completo. Existe também, um parque gratuito para viaturas junto ao hotel exterior e o interior com custo adicional. O serviço de Meia Pensão é uma mais valia. Adorei a experiência!! Vou Regressar!

Extraordinarias instalaciones, modernas, limpias, cómodas y unas habitaciones acorde con la categoría. Los servicios de hostelería, Restaurantes, cafetería, Bar, etc., de muy buena calidad. Piscinas, Resort, Gimnasio y jardines, no defraudan. Pero no entiendo como un hotel de esta categoría te obliga a ponerte una pulsera de tela al hacer la entrada en recepción, además por parte de la Srta. Que me atendió, de muy malas maneras “es la norma y punto” ese es el motivo por el que no le doy las 5 estrellas. No veo lógico que en un Hotel de esta categoría, del que entras y sales con mucha frecuencia, restaurantes, visitas, etc., te intente marcar como si fueras ganado.

A great hotel with fantastic facilities... visiting of season was an excellent idea. Beaches almost empty, granted water in the Atlantic was not the warmest but worth every second you spend in it even if it is only your toe... but after that you can enjoy a heated indoor pool or outdoor one whatever your preference. Spa was great too with an offer "moments for two " you can have a relaxing time with your loved one and if you have kids you can use child care at the hotel. They have activities every day. At low season it might be a bit empty but the minders will keep your children occupied. We have stayed 6 nights in the hotel with half-board option, buffet during breakfast and dinner was really good it had everything to suit all people's needs, food quality was excellent. Staff was very friendly and attentive they were helping every time we needed help. I highly recommend VidaMar hotel.

Muito má chegamos tínhamos marcado quarto não existia tivemos que esperar para marcarem novamente depois já estava pago e com fatura feita queriam que pagasse mais é não era pouco depois disseram que estavam enganados no quarto não havia água quente fomos á recessão estava mais clientes a reclamar da água e marcações mal feitas dos hotéis que já fui mesmo de 4 estrelas eram superiores em termos de orientação mas pronto este hotel é para esquecer o que é pena porque tem boas instalações Boa comida mas foi uma má experiência.

This was our fourth visit in October half-term holiday. It has nice rooms and generally good facilities, breakfast is great. We kept coming back as the kids loved the heated outdoor pool and the atmosphere it created with families playing together. Unfortunately this year the heating was switched off so it was a bit desolate. Kids were disappointed. The hotel had clearly switched into winter mode and was focussed on the conferences that were taking place rather than holidaymakers. No outdoor heated pool, no ice cream for the kids at dinnertime, less choice in the restaurant, areas reserved for conference delegates etc. Also some of the smaller details that made a difference before have either disappeared or now incurr a charge. So Im afraid we will be looking elsewhere this year.

Estrutura ótima, serviço precário, quartos barulhentos. Ainda mesmo antes da última noite estamos com vontade de ir embora. Equipe desatenta, esqueceram de colocar sabonetes nas casas de banho além das chávenas para a cafeteira; por duas vezes reclamamos do barulho extremo dos hóspedes ao lado e nada foi feito; o serviço é reduzido ao máximo na baixa temporada e não condiz com um cinco estrelas: pagamos por um ginásio que fecha as 18h30, e em um hotel onde a meia pensão é obrigatória o serviço de jantar, ainda que centralizado em apenas um restaurante, deveria ter opções decentes, para além de seis panelas de legumes variados e dois grelhados.

ES UN 3 ESTRELLAS DISFRAZADO DE 5.Nada más llegar tuvimos un disgusto en recepción porque se negaban a darnos la Cena de Gala que teníamos contratada. La directora muy amable y lo solucionó.No tiene salones donde sentarte después de cenar y tomarte algo y charlar. Es la propia recepción donde hay algunos sillones, muy pocos. Estábamos casi siempre de pie.Hacía mucho frío en esta salón-recepción. No ponían la calefacción.La animación casi inexistente. Un músico con muy poca duración.La cena horrible. Muy repetitiva y a las 9 ya no reponían las bandejas.

No es admisible en un hotel de esta categoría tener por ejemplo un buen gimnasio cerrado de pago y vacío y al lado uno muy cutre de libre acceso.El precio de las bebidas es exagerado, es la primera vez que me encuentro con esos precios en un hotel.En el restaurante muchas de las comidas se acaban muy pronto y ya no las reponen.Y la cena fin de año, la peor de todas, se formaron una colas enormes en varios de los puestos de comida que duraron prácticamente toda la cena.Por el contrario el hotel tiene unas instalaciones impresionantes, La atención del personal es estupendaY la limpieza del mismo es inmejorable.

Hôtel calme, chambre spacieuse, petit-déjeuner sous forme de buffet excellent mais quant au confort de la literie, notre avis est beaucoup moins positif : les sommiers sont en bois recouvert de tissus (nous avons frappé sur le dessus pour nous en assurer) et les matelas ne sont pas épais. Nous avons quitté l'hôtel avec un fort mal de dos (3 nuits). Notre chambre se trouvait au rez-de-chaussée.

We stayed over Christmas week. Its pretty much boring for our kids as all the fun parks are closed during winter.We had half-board so our review...Dining: breakfast buffet = 4, dinner buffet = 3, atmosphere = 3, cleanliness = 5. Well-run buffet, clean but we felt like we were eating in a school canteen.Rooms: space = 5, bed = 4, daily room service = 4, cleanliness = 3. Good big comfortable room albeit slightly old, bed was softer than our preference, good daily room service where we had new towels (and looks like sheets too) everyday. Nice but unnecessary. Shower was not clean and had mould around the tiles.Over all facilities and location is good. Good supermarket down the road.But I felt we got lost as a number. The hotel can hold 1200 guests!Special thanks to Neuza and Richardo for making our stay more comfortable! If it werent for them, I would have lowered my rating for this hotel.

The hotel is clean, modern and perfectly located near the beach and close to a golf course. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. We were here for Christmas 2019 and had excellent weather (high 60’s). Not all the facilities in the hotel were available as it was out of season. The indoor pool was very popular with families. The outdoor pools looked great but, unless you are an experienced open water swimmer, I would not recommend jumping in at that time of year. The staff were friendly and the food options were restricted to a large buffet for both breakfast and dinner. The quality of the food was great excellent and they provided a Christmas themed buffet on the 24th for no extra charge. There was plenty of parking and I’d recommend hiring a car as the hotel is a little isolated. Our extended family want to join us for Christmas there next year!

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The hotel on its own is a very good hotel to stay. Personnel is also good. We had a spacious room. It was a good surorise that the shower was separate from the toilet. Taking a shower was a joy as it was spacious and the water pressure was excellent.
I haven't had a better breakfast buffet in any single hotel I have been to, in my life. There is a great variety of choice and the quality of the food is fantastic. Even items you don't expect, are there to choose from.
But the dinner buffet didn't have the same variety. Lucky for us we stayed there during the Christmas days and for two nights we had an amazing dinner buffet. Drinks are not included, which is not odd for half board. But the prices could be more reasonable.
A turn off is that you have to pay a lot for things that are free in other similar hotels. So don't be too excited with the pictures, because a lot of things and activities cost extra money.
The second night we finished our dinner fast since my wife was sick and had to take her medicine. But our room's door wouldn't open. I had to go up and down three times, to the reception, to report the problem and got a new key each time. Without any luck. Eventually they found out that the door lock was broken. Hotel staff called the maintenance staff to come to the hotel, as no one was present. But we weren't provided any information on how long it would take them to get there. Eventually after one hour we were told that we have to change rooms. These kind of stuff might happen, but a management who charge you for every little thing should offer something to the client to make it up. But that didn't happen at all.
There was also no amusement program for adults in the evening.
To conclude: a great hotel with nice staff, but an amateur management.

Must say this hotel has gone down hill fast !!!! I emailed hotel to explain I was only staying 5 nights instead of 6 and also to supply Flowers for my wife who was celebrating her birthday and our wedding anniversary...But alas hotel said that Expedia was to refund extra day and Expedia said Hotel was to refund??????? Also on arrival when I asked Bell boy on reception about flowers that I ordered to the value of 50Euros which I was paying for as in previous visits !!! But bell boy said there are no flowers and if was not happy to fill in questionair !!!! I was furious as this has now ruined my surprise for my wife and then to find that the meal arrangements had changed drasticly and was told of alternative which we were then told was fully booked and we were on half board … We then got into a restauraunt which I wish we had not gone into as this was dreadful like all food during our stay. What ever happened to ROMANTIC HOTEL WITH SUPER FOOD ??????Gone forever. STAY AWAY IS MY ADVICE !!!!!!

Hôtel extraordinaire! Un 5* largement mérité. Accueil agréable avec bagagiste à votre service. The hotel staff is on another level, they communicate so well. We arrived at the hotel and checked into our room, which was nice but it had like a mouldy smell. Called reception and Anna in guest relation was so good, came and showed us other rooms with a very good sense of humour. It was unfortunate that rooms we saw had the smell but she explained that the carpets had been shampooed and it could be they had not dried fully. We settled well. The food was not a buffet like other half board apart from breakfast. Their ala carte was good even though it would benefit with more choices as people thought it was buffet but because it’s not pick time they were not doing that. The spa the spa OMG it’s the best so far compared to all my travels. Madelina and Adrianna, were brilliant. I enjoyed that experience and will come for more. Overall this hotel is good, like everywhere else not all will be perfect

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis: Super Pool und sehr guter Zugang zu einem mehrere km langem Strand. Die Hotelanlage um den Pool ist schön, geschmacklich lässt sich über z.B. den Kunstrasen streiten.
Einen Stern Abzug aufgrund des Baustils: hier wurde mit der Prämisse möglichst viele Zimmer gebaut. Dadurch kommt kein Charme auf: Lange dunkle Gänge, großer steriler Essensraum.
Das Gym hat eine gute Ausstattung, nur leider entstehen hier 10 € Kosten pro Tag. Für 5 Sterne eine Farce! Dennoch hatten wir eine gute Zeit hier.

Tolles Hotel, meine Frau und ich waren schon 4x hier und haben uns immer wohlgefühlt. Restaurant sind toll und die Zinmer super modern und sauber. Einziger negativpunkt: der Fitnessraum kostet extra und hat nur bis 1830h geöffnet. schade!

Me alojé en noviembre 2 noches. Muy buena ubicación, tiene acceso directo a la playa. El personal muy amable y servicial. Muy limpio, poca gente, muy tranquilo, evidentemente por la temporada. Tiene SPA, el circuito cuesta 20 € por persona y día. Tiene baño turco, sauna, fuentes de hielo, jacuzzi y en la piscina varios puntos de burbujas, chorros de cuello de cisne y camas balinesas. Tratamientos Wellness. Piscinas exterior e interior climatizada. Tres restaurantes a la carta, otro en la piscina y el buffet. La comida del buffet buena, pero sin destacar. Tiene gimnasio con múltiples aparatos con horario de apertura y cierre y otro pequeñito 24 horas abierto. El parking subterráneo cuesta 8 € al día. La habitación es amplia y la cama muy cómoda. Tiene clasificación de 5 estrellas, pero creo que está más acordé con uno de 4 estrellas.

Its a average hotel. Not a 5 star at all. Reception staff not everyone is helpful, Cleaning staff you have to ask everyday to get fresh towels and clean the room. Putting sign out doesnt mean anything. Staff in restaurant are helpful. Breakfast is repetitive. Dinner, hot counter for meat eaters but not for veg. Do not take HOP ON HOP OFF Tour bus its complete waste of money.

We had the best stay at Vida Mar. The best thing was the staff and their attentive and friendly manner. Specially, I have to mention, Ana the front office manager, Ana at customer service, Beatrize at the buffet restaurent and Vandersen at the Sunset Bar. You made our stay extremely enjoyable one. The beach was beautiful and the hotel was spotless clean. Everything was perfect. Just the pool was a little too cold. Thanks Vida Mar for a wonderful experience.

Poor service, Most of the staff don’t understand service. Waiters in restaurant stair at you and make it difficult to order drinks. A great example of how they value customers this evening they closed all bars and lobby area without any warning to film something. Customers have nowhere to go and this ruined the last night of many people’s holiday. It’s a shame because if they had management who understood service it could be great.

Het is een mooi hotel met uitzonderlijke locatie bij natuurgebied, golf en de zee natuurlijk. Ideaal voor wandelingen. Auto nodig voor omgeving te verkennen. Eten was de eerste avond een grote ontgoocheling. De andere dagen waren merkelijk beter. Er is tamelijk variatie, maar de warme gerechten zijn eigenlijk niet echt warm. Warme borden kan ook al deel van probleem oplossen. Voor deze categorie van hotels zou dat echt niet mogen zijn. Dit kan stukken beter. Kamers groot en in orde. Aan zwembad is er voldoende plaats. Ondanks dat men zei dat hotel volzet was is er geen drukte aan het zwembad. Rush voor zetels is hier ver te zoeken. Er is ook een afgescheiden gedeelte met zwembad en hemelbedden en er zijn 2 jacussis. Voor 40 euro per bed, kan men er de ganse dag van genieten. Je kan eten en drinken voor dit bedrag. Alles meer is dus ook extra.

Great spa offers, nice pools, perfect location for beach holidays. What I didn’t like that there is no flexibility in late checkout at all. It’s my fifth stay in these resorts and it was never available no matter how busy or empty hotel is. This so called “VIP” status at the hotel means nothing. Also given cheapest room available facing car park. Not sure why it is sold as VIP hotel.

Mir hat nicht gefallen wie das Frühstück und das Abendessen eingenommen wird. Buffet und man fühlt sich sehr wie ein Pauschaltourist. Alles kostet extra. Sauna, Erwachsenenbereich, Fitnessstudio...Der Pool für alle ist riesig. Das ist toll.

Good large clean rooms with safe, kettle and good wifi available. Nice big bed (2 large singles pushed together made up to double) with good quality sheets. Large walk in shower and open plan bathroom backing onto the room with wall to divide. A bit corporate looking and a lot of brown, decor looks a bit dated, not to my personal taste but perfectly spacious, clean and adequate with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Balcony large and a great asset. Fabulous huge outdoor pool with ample sunbeds and other (additional charge) private pool lounging areas. Nice location close to the beach. Indoor pool spa and gym. Good choice of restaurants and friendly staff especially in Aji. Reception staff helpful, not quite so friendly but very busy. Negatives: The area immediately outside the property is quite dirty full of debris and rubbish it gives a wrong first impression as inside is spotless. If you dont like very large busy complex type hotels this may not be for you. Have previously stayed in their private villas which are not as well maintained as the hotel so overall would definitely return to the hotel again (not the villa).

4 star hotel for me. The greatest thing is the Food! I stayed 1 week. The price was acceptable. The room was ok. But the walls not very noise isolated..
The big pool is too cold. They are saying it's at 25°C but I think it's more like 19°C. Some of the infrastructures seem a little bit old. Some employees are ok, some not. I think this hotel has some bad management. Or somebody has a lack of motivation or needs to change the job. They have a big fitness indoor hall that you have to pay to enter. If not, there's another one but it's much more smaller. They have a spa with different pools where you have to pay again...

Schöne große Zimmer mit tollen Blick auf das Naturreservat. Ruhiger Poolbereich und ein kurzer Weg zum Strand.
Das Essen ist Geschmacksache. Teilweise kalt und nicht schmackhaft. 5 Sterne sind das auf keinen Fall.
Als Alternative kann man seinen Essensgutschein bei der Pizzaria nebenan einlösen.

Lovely stay mid September. Staff are more than helpful to accommodate for needs and love children. However there is a secluded adults area which is peaceful. Main restaurant is a buffet style place food is good and fresh and plenty of choice. Sunset bar was my favourite place order a lovely chicken sandwich which comes with a large amount of chips. I would suggest trying the sparking sangria

3 superbes séjour !!!
C'est notre petit coup de cœur, les chambres sont vraiment très très spacieuses, le buffet en demi pension est excellent.
La pataugeoire pour les tout petits est parfaite
L'accès a la plage par le ponton en bois est magnifique.
les petits espace "repos" sont juste parfait
Une adresse vraiment à recommander, que du bonheur !!!
Le vidamar, c'est juste un diamant dans son petit écrin.

Localização é fantástica. Gosto muito do hotel e certamente voltarei. Contudo pela primeira vez este ano notei em determinados.momentos o staff um.pouco cansado e a pecar pela falta de simpatia. Para um hotel de 5 * nao é aceitavel
Por outro lado a hora das refeições tonha muita gente dificultando o acesso a comida. Talvez por ser Agosto quando as restantes estadias foram sempre noutros meses.
P.S.: Têm de ampliar o ginásio que o atual é manifestamente insuficiente para a qualidade do hotel.

Veuillez lire ma critique si vous hésiter à aller là bas.
Tout d'abord, je parle 3 langues de base : le français, l'anglais et l'allemand. Il faut savoir que l'ensemble du personnel surtout à la réception de l'hôtel, ils ne maîtrisent même pas ces trois langues ou même pas l'anglais... Ensuite, une fois qu'ils comprennent quelque chose, ils le font mal. J'ai attendu 6h avant d'avoir ma chambre pour finalement avoir une mauvaise chambre (même si j'y ai passé que 2nuits sur 5 c'est inadmissible). Là bas, tout est très cher, le soir c'est un buffet mais il faut payer les boissons, la moindre consommation.. De l'eau ou du soda rien est offert. C'est un hôtel 5 étoiles avec des toiles d'araignées dans la chambre, une bouteille d'eau payante pour la chambre et extrêmement familiale c a d avec beaucoup d'enfants et beaucoup de bruits et AUCUNE organisation. Mais, si vous voulez vous baigner dans une piscine calme sans enfants vous pouvez.. Mais il faut consommer un minimum de 40€ pas jour sur place. Cependant, les seuls qui étaient extrêmement gentil c'était les bagagiste, les serveurs, les femmes de ménage et les chauffeurs de taxi.

Um dos melhores do Algarve!!! Na praia dos Salgados, não precisa pegar mais no carro, tem um passadiço até à praia, o hotel tem uma das maiores piscinas da Europa! Piscinas exteriores de agua quente! E 4 restaurantes onde pode comer bom peixe, a melhor carne, piza ou lasanha, mariscos e muito mais!!! É a segunda vez no hotel e vamos voltar com toda a certeza!!!

Je suis mitigé sur mon séjour...l’hôtel est magnifique rien à dire...mais je trouve que le personnel de l’établissement et les services ne sont pas à la hauteur du lieu...boisson payante au repas du soir...eau, sodas etc INADMISSIBLE...alors qu’il pourrait l’inclure dans le prix...par contre au petit déjeuner vous avez droit au vin blanc et champagne à volonté sans supplément...cherchez l’erreur !!!
Les informations sur le fonctionnement de l’hôtel ne sont pas clair à l’arrivée...comme les prix des suppléments à l’une des piscines, le prix des boissons au repas du soir...je trouve également que pour un hôtel aussi joli, le personnel n’est pas très poli...pas toutes les personnes mais une grande partie...pas 1 regard, pas 1 sourire...c’est dommage parce que c’est gratuit ça !!! Après il y’a des endroits où je n’ai jamais vu de personnel de nettoyage...comme à la grande piscine ou sous les palmiers où il y a la pelouse synthétique...Les chaises renversées ...des verres d’alcool qui traînent...j’ai jamais vu personne durant les 7 jours passés quelqu’un venir balayer nettoyer aspirer les saletés où nettoyer autour de la piscine au jet d’eau...RIEN !!! C’est indigne d’un établissement pareil...
Personne qui parle français...infos seulement en Anglais ou en Portugais...comme si il y avait qu’eux qui voyageaient...surtout quand on voit la population portugaise en France...eh beh rien en français dans cette hôtel...après la chambre était magnifique et propre...sauf qu’ils oubliaient de mettre gel douche et shampoing de temps en temps...Les repas du buffet du soir Trop répétitif...au bout de 3 jours on en a marre...Des petites choses à améliorer pour rendre l’expérience Unique...mais sinon l’hôtel est très jolie !!

Das Hotel ist ideal für alle die grosse Partys und Lärm meiden möchten.
Nachts ist es im und um das Hotel absolut ruhig.
Am Tag kann man sich neben dem großen Meerwasserpool herrlich entspannen.
Das Essen im Hotel ist sehr vielseitig.
Vom Hotel bis zum herrlichen Strand führt ein Steg aus Holz über den man in 3 Minuten den Strand erreicht.
Das Vidamar Resort ist ein idealer Ort für entspannte Ferien.

Przebywalismy w hotelu z biurem podróży Itaka. Od samego poczatku obsluga starala sie aby nasz pobyt byl udany. Musielismy poczekac ponieważ doba hotelowa zaczynała sie o 15, a w hotelu byliśmy po 11. Na ten czas bagaże zostaly przechowane, a jak tylko pokój byl gotowy bagaże zostaly tam przeniesione. Na powitanie, jako nowożeńcy dostalismy szampana i truskawki w czekoladzie. Obsługa byla bardzo miła i pomocna. Nie wszyscy mówili w języku angielskim, jednak to nie stanowiło problemu, ponieważ za chwilę podchodził ktoś inny. Pokój z wielkim łóżkiem otwarta przestrzeń z łazienka. Gdy ktoś zalatwial potrzebę wszystko było słychać przez szklane drzwi. Nie wszystkim może to przypaść do gustu. Jedzenie przepyszne. Śniadania od 7.30 były codziennie takie same, ale wybór był tak ogromny że każdego dnia można było jeść coś innego. Obiadokolacje serwowano od 18.30. Do wyboru wiele dan. Codziennie coś innego. Na bieżąco były grillowane mięsa i ryby. Bylo dużo ludzi, ale jedzenia nigdy nie zabrakło. Jednego dnia były dania kuchni portugalskiej, innego włoskiej itd. Do niczego nie można bylo się przyczepić. Jedzenie było wyśmienite. Na kolację można się było sie jeszcze wybrać do innych restauracji na terenie hotelu. Przy basenie funkcjonowal bar w którym można bylo zjeść lekki lunch. Dostępny jest również wetbar. Siedząc w basenie można skosztować drinki. Baseny ze słona i zimna woda, jeden wielki i dwa mniejsze obok. Dodatkowo jeszcze jeden w strefie płatnej, jaccuzi i łóżka. Jeśli komuś mało to jest jeszcze jeden kryty w sekcji spa. Do tego siłownia, sklepik, fryzjer i pewnie wiele więcej atrakcji. We wtorki koncert po kolacji w ogrodzie, w tygodniu koncerty przy recepcji. W recepcji można wynająć samochód. Nam się trafił nowy Peugeot 306 z tego roku. Można również zarezerwować wycieczki jeppami po okolicy jak i rejs do grot. Jesteśmy w pełni usatysfakcjonowani w pobytu w tym hotelu i polecamy to innym. Pozdrawiamy

Bel hotel situé dans une très jolie palmeraie . Les chambres sont spacieuses mais auraient besoin d être rénovées ( moisissure dans la douche ).chambres très mal insonorisées . .Tres belle piscine principale ( mais trop fraîche ) . Transats en nombre ce qui est appréciable .
Restaurant sympa mais bien trop bruyant avec parfois des files d attente pour entrer qui sont inacceptables pour un hôtel qui se prétend être un 5 étoiles . Pour les couples sans enfants cet hôtel n est pas conseillé ( trop d enfants , de cris , de pleurs ) , a moins de profiter de l espace adulte mais moyennant un rajout par jour de 30 ou 40 euros . Demi pension qui n inclut pas l eau à table ( scandaleux !)
A part le poisson grillé le soir plats qui se répètent et peu raffinés .
Petit déjeuner varié et copieux .
Wifi qui ne fonctionne pas bien dans l hôtel .
Personnel au top qui se démène pour faire plaisir .
Attention surplus aussi pour location de transats à la plage .
Prévoir une voiture de location car rien autour de l hôtel .
Aucune animation dans l hôtel à part un chanteur ou chanteuse dans le lobby qui tente de se faire entendre au milieu des cris et des pleurs des enfants qui transforment le lobby en aire de jeux !
Si vous êtes sans enfant n allez pas dans cet hôtel .

Excellent location, good facilities.
Unfortunately, the staff is totally inadequate for a 3 star hotel, let alone a 5 star one, completely unprepared to serve clients.
The pool area is excellent. However, the staff there is rude, from the towels booth to the coordinator, who for several times cursed when talking to co-workers in front of young kids...
The maintenance is ok. Could be better but it’s still not an issue since the facilities are quite new.
The buffet restaurant, even though it’s variety and very efficient replenishment lacks quality and organization. The food is tasteless, the staff has absolutely no idea how to wait tables and the show cooking area is a totally mess. You hear comments between the staff saying “don’t exaggerate on the goods. This needs to last for the whole evening...”
The options to eat during the day are very limited, which is an issue accounting for the lack of offer on the surrounding area.
The activities offered are almost nonexistent, not consistent with the hotel stars, which is also applicable to the kids club, very unorganized.

Привезли инвалида под вход в отель, так швейцарец начал ругаться с водителем мол нельзя ставить машину возле входа. Не помог человеку выйти из машины , только ругаться горазд.
Швейцары помогают только если видят что получат чаевые, а на инвалида им все равно. Ну да с него ж не получишь ничего. Лицемерный отель на 1 звезду

Muy lejos de ser un hotel de cinco estrellas. El trato educado pero hay que insistir para que te hagan caso.
La comida me pareció malísima,tanto que , me hicieron daño unos huevos revueltos al desayuno que tenían un color verde, se lo dije a un empleado y la cocinera salió y simplemente los removió con la cuchara para ocultar el color.
En el baño ,la cisterna me dio las vacaciones por el escape de agua y el ruido de ocasionaba.
En definitiva,una decepción, me esperaba más puesto que el preciso lo vale.

Muy lejos de ser un hotel 5 estrellas, la estancia está bien pero la comida malisima, te venden paquete de media pensión y luego te cobran lo que bebes en la cena, nos salio un brote en todo el cuerpo y creemos por unos huevos del desayuno que nos dio vómito, pero la comida lo peor no sólo la del menú también la de pago cara y mala no es la calidad de un hotel 5 estrellas. No volvería allí

Overall very good, clean, perfect pool and excellent beach. Food is pretty good and usually something for everyone. Can get busy but better than most family buffet dining. Good WiFi. Hotel has a feeling of space and feels more remote with the beach just a stroll away. beach is excellent and again with lots of space and no other hotels nearby. There are apartments near by overall a great spot. Have visited twice now and that says it all.Reception staff generally not as friendly as others but overall an excellent clean and reliable hotel. Small gym and excellent spa and indoor pool (for adults) outside Pool has a new Adult only area with superb beds, this area is very quiet.

Excellent hotel for couples or parents with young children. The hotel rooms and hotel facilities are well maintained and the buffet restaurant food is of high quality with a good selection. Our daughter has a dairy intolerance and the hotel catered specifically to her needs making her special dinners every night. There are four pools, a small pool for small kids a pool bar a large pool and an adults only pool and bar nightlife is very tame but caters for its majority clientele. If you want lively bars then head to Albofeira Old Town which is a €15 cab ride away

Las instalaciones son muy buenas y nuevas, pero el servicio bastante regular....tienen una piscina fantástica, con una terasa que sirve la piscina, pero los camareros están todos apiñados y no se mueven nada ....no les interesa ....tienen un club para niños, pero nadie no te informa...esta apartado y nadie no sabe nada ....otra cosa rara desayuno sin cucharita, o sea te tomes el café por l mañana y si te pones azúcar mal rollo, encuentras un cucharón en la zona de cereales ...no digo nada de como podrás comerte el yogurt , pero, las habitaciones, confortable, la limpieza impecable, las placas solares me indica que utilizan energía renovable, etc ....pero un consejo, la parte de servicios hay que mejorar y mucho

¿Hotel de 5 estrellas? Vergonzoso. Casi 1.700 euros en 5 días tirados a la basura.
Lleno de gente: colas para entrar en el comedor, para coger comida, por cierto, mala, muy mala; imposible coger tumbona, aunque casi mejor, porque tienes que poner dos toallas como mínimo de lo asquerosas que están las colchonetas.
En las piscinas permiten meter todo tipo de hinchables, da igual el tamaño que tengan.
Las piscinas están hechas de una especie de loneta, y la redonda de los niños, estaba rota por el centro; la loneta se había abierto por la mitad pudiendo causar daños en los niños; ¿Hicieron algo después de decírselo? Noooo, para qué.
El sofá de la primera habitación que nos dieron, como se puede ver en las fotos, destrozado.
La limpieza general del hotel, lamentable; es para ver el suelo del comedor (la película se llama "La señora de la mopa contra the walking dead"), y para qué hablar de las entradas a la cocina, que se podían ver sin problema porque los camareros dejaban una de las puertas abierta para entrar y salir con facilidad; puertas sucias y viejas, suelo y mitad de paredes, negras (para vomitar).
En las fotos se puede apreciar la limpieza que nos hicieron de la habitación el segundo día, antes de que nos cambiaran la misma, cambio que solicité por el estado del sofá. Por cierto, quise cancelar y se lavaron las manos diciendo que yo había reservado con Expedia, aun diciendo que el problema era del mantenimiento del hotel.
Pero lo peor fue sin duda el disgusto que nos llevamos cuando nuestros hijos, de 6 años, se escaparon del club de niños: cinco monitoras (una de ellas muy desagradable), puerta de seguridad que se abría con la tarjeta del hotel, papeles firmados con clave para recogerlos,... ; pues a mis hijos los encuentran dos hombres deambulando por el hotel, y los llevan a recepción. Un chico de allí los trajo a la piscina, donde habíamos dejado por escrito que íbamos a estar nosotros, tras subir también a la habitación donde nos buscaban. No quiero pensar en lo que podía haber pasado.
A quien no le importe nada de esto, que vaya a este hotel.

Resort fantastico, óptimo para famílias no entanto proporciona um novo espaço apenas para adultos acabando por servir com grande qualidade todo o tipo de clientes.
Piscinas soberbas, quartos enormes e modernos e a comida muito boa. Existe uma grande variedade nas opções para comida podendo vir a degustar várias ementas.
É realmente um produto muito interessante, recomendo.

Espaço exterior muito bom peca em pequenos pormenores dois dias seguidos sem champoo ou gel de banho nem sabonete no quarto, staff mal informado relativamente a horários, etc...
Pedir para o responsável do hotel entrar em contacto comigo e até agora.......
Falta de animação após jantar.
Para um 5* deixa muito a desejar, habituado a um Vila Gale de Lagos 4* este deixa este muito a desejar.

Tive o ano passado umas férias espetaculares e realmente um hotel e serviços 5 estrelas. Por isso voltei... mas uma profunda desilusão. Desde muitas pontos a precisar de manutenção, estruturas fechadas, serviços pouco eficientes nada dignos de um hotel 5 estrelas e certamente a não justificar o valor pago. Oportunamente postarei fotos demonstrativas.

Perfect location. Only issue was for a 5 star hotel during hot period, provided only one bottle of water for the room and it is not replaced the next day. One have to pay €2 for a new bottle. Also, condiments like shower gel are not replaced either when empty

Very nice hotel, room very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was really good but the evening meal was very limited on choice. Drinks were expensive. We did have an issue with being ignored at the bar and had to return to our room for a drink which we had brought from the supermarket. I did complain to the manger he said he would look into it but we never had any comeback. There was a huge amount of Portuguese families and couples there and some we found to be very rude which was surprising as we have never encountered that before.One more negative was that our room was not cleaned and tea and coffee replenished so had to go without one morning.But overall a nice hotel with just a few hiccups.

Ganz nettes Hotel. Das Buffet war leider sehr eintönig und hatte wenig lokale Spezialitäten. Dafür gab es die üblichen Dinge wie z.B. Pizza und Pommes die allen Touristen schmecken. Glücklicherweise war die Auswahl recht groß.
Es handelt sich hierbei um ein sehr kinderfreundliches Hotel.

Dem Hotel würde ich maximal 4 Sterne geben. Essen war eher wie in einer Kantine. Wir mussten 160,00€ mehr bezahlen, um ein besseres Zimmer zu bekommen.

Mainly due to friends we traveled with and The villas were amazing and private pool was 100% needed as it is very much a family resort. Not a 5 star hotel!! The cleaning staff were very friendly but cleaning standards were not what was expected of a 5 star hotel, when asked for more supplies such was a tea towel and cloth for kitchen they did not give any as we were only allowed 1 for the week. Hotel staff were very unhelpful, service at reception and restaurants was shocking and food was just ok. They were not will to help and service was extremely slow. Hotel/villa a taxi ride away from any outside bars or restursnts

Ładnie położony blisko oceanu niska zabudowa ładne pokoje dobre jedzenie.
Jednak obsługa mimo że miła i uprzejma nie panuje nad wszystkim. Sprzątanie pokoi to oddzielna bajka. Te drobne mankamenty decydują o tym że moim zdaniem piątą gwiazdkę dostali awansem

Well..... When I first arrived I was happy.... We had a lovely welcome by all staff and the taxi guy was great.... Our villa wasn't ready as our flight was very early... So my mum n I of course checked out the bar!! My dad bless him did the check in details etc! My mum n I were welcomed into a little café bar was fine... Only people in but were well looked after! We were transported to our villa a little later on first impressions was great! Large to say the least.. Lush pool... Fine great! Next day must say was another story.... Very dirty needs a good lick of paint and love and attention as obviously been very well used! We went to explore around the next day and were disappointed to find most of the places online stated were closed or empty.... Plus my mum is in a wheelchair and difficult to get around until I asked for golf buggys home each night! Shouldn't have had to as all the cobbles very difficult! We did have an amazing meal at the Japanese restaurant aji staff food everything was great! Then after that it all went down hill again really on the resort! The pool bar.... Fab setting... Staff slow and well expensive! I understand the plastic glasses but the prices!! And people playing football behind our heads was nerve racking and not app really! The lobby bar... Started off OK if you want to sit In the dark with no atmosphere until a singer sometimes comes on for an hour! The staff started off great with us.... We always had a tab and paid at end of the night! No worries! After our amazing meal at the Japanese however I went to the bar alone to enjoy the music for the last ten minutes and was asked to pay straight away! I was made to feel so uncomfortable even though I explained I have been here many times etc..... I didn't have enough on me was awful! The manger was also very rude to me on other nights... But gave plenty drink away to friends or regular people he liked! That's all there was really on the Resort not like stated! Lots of nice local places around but you need to be able to walk... Getting mum there was hard... Then it's taxis to anywhere with shopping malls or a town with bars etc! Think it's a great place for family's with kids etc and if u want pure chill,beach,fun for kids or just golf... Great! For us could do with lots of improvement sorry to say! It's not like me to rant like this but we had two very expensive food experiences, apart from the Japanese.... Fab and fab... Thank goodness! Bad staff and great staff.... Dirty tired villa..... And well disappointed and left not wanting to ever go back there! P. S: I have been lucky enough to have travelled all over the world, experiencing some of the best and worst.....the Japanese was one of the best I have or my family have ever eaten! Other than that was very disappointing.... Just lack of anything! Care.... Love.... Respect.... Attention.... Cleanliness.... Sorry but its true.... Thank goodness for the young man driving the buggy on a night and the security guards at our gate... Lovely!! Sorry vidamar I won't be back!

Die Lage und Umgebung des Hotels ist wirklich toll. Auch die Anlage sieht super aus. Die Zimmer waren bei der Ankunkft sauber. Der Zimmerservice hat jeden Tag das Zimmer wieder auf Vordermann gebracht, jedoch wurden Bettbezüge, die dreckig waren, während des gesamten Aufenthalts nicht gewechselt. Die drei Pools und die Liegestühle waren ausreichend für alle Gäste, die Wassertemperaturen war uns zum Baden leider zu kalt, da die Pools unbeheizt waren. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und vielfältig, was man über das Abendessen leider nicht sagen kann. Zwar gab es täglich ein anderes "Motto", die Auswahl hielt sich aber leider sehr in Grenzen. Geschmacklich waren die Gerichte, die fast alle kalt waren, leider auch nicht auf einem fünf Sterne Niveau. Das Personal in den Restaurants hingegen war sehr freundlich, das sonstige Personal war mäßig freundlich. Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt ok, wiederkommen würden wir allerdings nicht.

Ein toller Ort zum Erholen
Die Räumlichkeiten sind großzügig bemessen. Die Betten sind gut . Das Speisesaal ist unterteilt in ruhigere Bereiche und Bereiche an denen man schneller zum Essen gelangt . Speisen Vielfalt sagenhaft ( wir waren längere Zeit dort und konnten immer was neues ausprobieren) .
