Impossible to rent a kayak during August. The tour has preference over the renting. Reason: tour price is 35€ (70€ for a two seat kayak) while kayak renting is 20€ (10€ per person). So, basically they don't have any interest in renting.

Had a great afternoon exploring the caves and hidden beaches a great experience and very friendly and helpful guys would highly recommending it

São rafael is a beautiful beach in where I grew up and having now the possibility to explore it in Kayak, sup and even clifjumping is for me the best way to get to know the area

2 hour guided kayak tour of coast and caves from sao rafael to praia do castelo, 35 euros per person, our group was approx 14 kayaks, kayaks are easy to use and very stable, there is a motorised support boat. Good fun highly recommended.

We rented SUP and kayaks with no problem at reasonable price. They gave very limited instructions if you asked. I'm sure you could hire a coach to train you if you paid for a lesson. We visited end of August 2019

Friendly, helpful staff and the most affordable SUP rentals we came across. Their full day rental price is lower than the 90 minute rates offered by vendors at Benagil. The staff cheerfully accommodated our requests and provided lots of great advice about where to go paddling on our own. We did not take a guided tour, but based on the helpfulness and knowledge of the staff, I'd bet it would have been a great experience.

Man darf ohne Guite nur zu einer Seite fahren, die ziemlich langweilig ist. Auf der anderen Seite sind einsame Strände und Höhlen. Wir wurden dann gleich wieder zurück geschickt und haben das Kajak nach 40 Minuten wieder abgegeben.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Need to have a reasonable level of fitness for the two hour tour, especially if your sitting in rear of a two man kayak and your crewmate in the front isn't good at paddling!! Going through caves is a bit hair raising and we got stuck on a rock, luckily we didn't capsize otherwise it would've been painful. Also be careful of your head if the waves are high going thru the caves. Other than that a good way to explore the coast, have a swim at an alcove, see the Sao Rafael beach and have a motorised tour of Albufeira in a beaten up, characterful Toyota minivan.
