Clients français et autres touristes, FUYEZ. C'est une franchise qui ne tient pas compte des prix d'Internet. On ma annoncé 11€ sur internet et j'ai dû payer 30€ sur place à la journée. Il y a bien meilleur chez la concurrence et moins cher. J'ai voulu me faire rembourser ils nont rien voulu savoir ! Des escrocs.

Despite the reviews I booked with Enterprise as the location was good for me. I was very happy with the car and service. There was a little wait on pick up but that's probably to be expected at the weekend. The staff were friendly and helpful. If it's like this again I would be happy to use them more often.

Lächerlich. Die schlimmste Erfahrung in 40 Jahren Autovermietung. Mehr als 3 Stunden Wartezeit trotz Reservierung. Zustand des Mietwagens katastrophal. Vielen Dank für nichts. Hab ich weder bei Avis, Sixt oder Hertz erlebt. Nie wieder Alamo / Enterprise in Portugal.

Me forneceram uma viatura 2018 com o paralama amassado. Os valores do contrato de locação fornecido por eles estavam maiores do que os valores pagos e apesar de eu questionar o fato, no mínimo, irregular, disseram ser assim mesmo. Como advogado eu fico muito desconfortável com isso. O atendimento na recepção do posto de recolha das viaturas deixa a desejar.

I was hesitant to book here due to the horrible reviews, but my experience was smooth as could be. There was no wait when I arrived, so I'm not sure how it would go during high season, but the process took an average length of time, the car was great and the service was excellent.

Telefono per chiedere la disponibilità: subito rispondono e con grande cortesia mi propongono auto e prezzi. Prenoto. Dopo 1 ora vado a ritirare l'auto. Servizio rapido e estrema gentilezza da parte della signora al desk. In 5 minuti esco con l'auto, una Fiat Punto in ottime condizioni. Richiamo il giorno successivo per prolungare il noleggio, risposta e conferma immediata al telefono. Restituzione auto in pochi minuti. Prezzi ottimi. Una delle mie migliori esperienze con un autonoleggio.

That is the worst experience I've had so far in renting a car !!! I waited 2 hours (even tho I had a reservation) before getting my car. Customer service is really bad. I am globally happy with Entreprise Car - but NOT IN PORTUGAL. I advise people not to use the service in Portugal.

The worst car rental experience you can have. I am a regular long term enterprise client and pretty much the only reason I never check reviews and bluntly book with them globally. In Portugal however, you are not dealing with enterprise but with a horrible third party called Guerlin who are nothing short of robbers. I had an online booking already and the staff there talked me into cancelling suggesting she can book me with small surcharge for an upgrade. I naively accepted only to realize upon return of the car that not only she has booked me one day short for, but also has forced me into full insurance (which I don’t need because my credit card covers it), so I paid double the amount of my own booking for even a shorter period. When talked to the guy upon returning the car in Faro they were the most unhelpful ever! Not taking responsibility at all! Just avoid enterprise in Portugal AT ALL COSTS!!!

I booked my rental car 2 months ago but found myself awake late at night the night before we picked up our car gripped with fear of potentially long lines, unhelpful staff and a 2.5 + hour wait after reading this locations reviews (see below) So we were pleasantly surprised to find a short line, very helpful and friendly staff and were in and out of the rental center within 20 minutes. I can see how this place could become a bit more nightmarish during peak season, but our experience was nothing but pleasant. I’m just glad we didn’t bail over the bad reviews and subject ourselves to a taxi out to the airport. Recommend!

10 agosto 2018: Siamo in coda da più di un'ora e chissà quando riusciremo a metterci in viaggio. E SE riusciremo. Mattinata (con noleggio pagato) persa. Ci ho messo meno a comprarla, una macchina. Chissà come andrà il noleggio, vista l organizzazione.... Rettifico la mia recensione (inizialmente ad 1 stella) in quanto si trattava di una giornata anomala e lo staff si è giustificato. Di fatto il noleggio non ha presentato problemi e la riconsegna in sede diversa è stata molto veloce.

Pick up wasn't quick even if the office was mostly empty. They need a credit card pre-authorisation for the full excess, which is not often as high. Car return was quick and easy, with a brief inspection of the vehicle.

Après une heure d’attente (dûe aux gens qui rendent leurs voitures trop tard, aux gens qui s’étonnent de frais supplémentaires et qui essaient de négocier pendant 20 min), le service rapide pour prendre la voiture comme pour la rendre. Certains employés parlent aussi français. Aucun problème concernant les rayures qui avaient été constatées au départ lors de la prise du véhicule. Résumé de la location: -Voiture propre avec plein d’essence. -350€ de location pour 9 jours avec assurance complète en cas de dégât d’une valeur inférieure à 960€. - 80€ de taxe pour la location One way ( départ Lisbonne + arrivée Faro) - caution de 1200€. Je n’ai pas pris le boîtier électronique pour les péages puisque je n’ai pris que des nationales pour admirer le pays. Aucun frais n’a été caché. Bref je recommande cette entreprise pour louer une voiture au Portugal.

Nous avions rdv à 9h pour la voiture, en arrivant 15min en avance nous n'avons même pas eu d'attente et à 9h15 nous roulions avec la voiture ! Par contre nous avons réservé sur internet mais avons eu des frais supplémentaires de 50€ pour les conducteurs de moins de 21 ans ! Sinon je recommande !

I rented a car via mietwagen-check.de - the process on the homepage itself was very easy. I had had good experiences with car rental companies, especially Enterprise and have always received great customer service. But, this one shocked me quite a bit. There were a couple of issues: 1. The deposit was €1330,- or you could pay €35.90,- to get the insurance (which isn’t needed since the car was already insured due to the rate/conditions that I had booked. It is quite ridiculous to charge that much of a deposit (usually it’s around €200-300,-) just to get people to pay for the insurance. 2. Not just was the woman on the counter (who said she was the manager) very rude to me in several instances, any question I asked she countered with a tone of voice which indicated that she was wondering why I would ask such a question and that she was annoyed by it. Besides, she didn’t even bother to give me a proper introduction to the car and didn’t even let me see the car before signing all the papers. Upon wanting to use the bathroom, and going there, I noticed that there was not toilet paper and went to the car to get one - since when I asked the woman if she had toilet paper, her only response was that the cleaning lady was there in the morning and had already left. When I was about to go to the to the car to get tissues, she said that they are on break now and that she’s closing and that I can’t use the bathroom anymore. I just responded that it would take me a minute and went ahead. Why can’t they just wait for a minute and treat a customer like that? No human being deserves such a treatment.

Leider mussten wir fast 2 Stunden warten bis wie dran gekommen sind. Diese Station ist einfach zu überlaufen. Das eigentliche anmieten und aushändigen ist dafür dann ein sehr kurzer Ablauf. Man wartet einfach nur sehr lange.

Whatever you do, DO NOT use this location. Waited 2.5 hours to be given a car with a longer list of damages than I’ve ever seen on a rental. It wasn’t even clean on the inside. Go to the airport location or use another agency... nothing could be worse than this place.

It is impossible to rent a car here in the high season. We arrived at 11.30 to get a car reserved for 12 noon, and after 1 hour wait we left, as there were still more than 20 parties ahead of us. The queue did not move at all despite 3 people assisting customers. There is something fundamentally wrong with how this is managed. And what is really disturbing is that this location seeks to attract people with low rental prices, although they have no means to process the demand. I would give a zero star, if possible.

I wish I had read the reviews on Entreprise before booking a car last June 18. So as 98 % of the fellows who wrote a comment, I am here to share my frustration regarding Entreprise Lisbon. We booked a car online, and we could not get it because apparently the office was closed as it was a bank holiday, and we did not receive any notice. We had only few days in Portugal, it destroyed our trip. We were in contact with the customer service based in USA for these two last months, and, what can I say, it was a total waste of time. Entreprise Lisbon and their customer service are lamentable, worse experience ever.

Customers are treated like a bit of an annoyance. Takes a long time, budget at least 1-1.5hrs total. Most car rental places use high insurance excesses to force you to buy their super cover - this one the excess is so high it leaves you with a bitter taste whatever option you choose. Enterprise should maybe reconsider letting this place use their branding or get them to be a bit more reasonable on service.

Schnelle und reibungslose Abfertigung, sehr freundliches Personal. Mietwagen Zustand top. Navi inklusive. Einzig bei der Übergabe des Wagens könnte zusätzliches Personal gebraucht werden, so dass die Administration nicht jedes Mal den Arbeitsplatz verlassen muss.

This place is truly ridiculous. We have been waiting in line for 3h+ before we even got a glimpse at one of the rental cars. However, this didn’t seem to bother the staff at all who have been going about their business without a care in the world. Do yourself a favor and take a cab to the airport in order to rent your car there. Or get a flight. Or a horse chariot. Or walk. Anything would be more reasonable than renting a car from this place. Edit: also - due to the aforementioned circumstances - I missed the GODDAMN World Cup final!!!

BEWARE... If their office closes for lunch when you want to return your car at the correct time, they will charge you an extra day. The tyre warning light flashed for 3 days so never used motorways. My first time using Enterprise, but never again if this is how they treat customers. I recommend using Avis (Preferred) out of Lisbon. No waiting in queues.

I had booked with Enterprise as it is a trust/love brand worldwide. I decided to check Google Reviews before getting to this rental place. Besides the awful repeated reviews, I did notice that Enterprise Lisbon didn’t even bother answering the complaints. I cancelled my reservation and booked with EuropCar Lisbon airport. Don’t want no headaches on my vacation.

Obligada Senhora Ana Maria I had a great experience with the staff at the Lisboa Enterprise car rental. All of them were kind and trying their best to meet the need of customers. at the Lisbon enterprise, I was supported with Ms.Ana Maria. when I was there, I was tired with a crying heart from previous fatigue and hectic schedule :) I didn't ask any special bits of help from them, she just helped me out of the good deed. Her kindness and sincere concern warmed me off. The car was calm, well-functioning, clean, GPS set accurate ... it was a great car. i was very satisfied :) so Guerin Enterprise will be my next choice when i come back to the Lisbon. After all, I have received and seen many blessings on this trip and very thankful to all people who are really doing their daily best to serve others and complete themselves. Careful when renting (and possibly returning) a car on a Sunday. The Enterprise website told us this rental location was open on Sundays but as I believe others have pointed out, it's not. We were stranded when we turned up and it was closed but Avis/Budget saved the day!

Terrible terrible service, a deposit was taken of €300 after a week my deposit was not returned even though the card was approved for return. On returning the shop they provided me with an order code to prove that they had issued the hold on my deposit to be released. I was then told to call the International banking to ask why it had not been returned for them to tell me you need to speak with the Merchant and back and forth. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT RENT WITH THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY GEURIN. They offered no help whatsoever!

Make sure you double-check car for even smallest scratches, otherwise they will overcharge you. Car had tone of small. scratches when we picked it up, girl told us nothing that is superficial counts, so we didn't check that close and didn't take pictures.. That small scratch on a plastic cost us $150... ridicilous.

The car that was all set up in German and we had to go back to have them set it up in English, second, the wifi modem we paid extra for did not work, third, the cars heater fan sounded broken and there was a distinct hum even heard over the radio that what sounded like front wheel bearings. The car was very tired. Had to wait over 30 min to get service. This company (Guerin runs Enterprise in Portugal) has not embraced technology to the degree Enterprise in Canada has. To top it off I left my hat and when I returned a few minutes later, it had disappeared.

I picked up a car on Saturday. I arrived 10 minutes before they opened as suggested in other reviews and was the first to drive away shortly after. I dropped the car back last night without any issues. Staff were very friendly so will be using them again!

Não recomendo. Devolvi a viatura/veículo no dia 06/07/2019 e conforme comprovante, foi solicitado o estorno de 300,00 euros cobrado em cartão quando retirei a viatura. No entanto, até hoje dia 23/07/2019, o valor não foi cancelado em meu cartão de crédito. Entrei em contato com o atendimento e me informaram que o valor foi cancelado da parte deles (Enterprise / Guerin) e o problema está com a RedUnicre que é a entidade que administra os pagamentos. Eu não reservei o veículo com a RedUnicre, a viatura foi reservada com a Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Isso é um grande desrespeito aos clientes. Já tive esse mesmo problema na loja Enterprise de Los Angeles / USA. Deviam valorizar mais os clientes. Não recomendo essa loja.

I've read many horror reviews here but because I get my company contract discount plus location was close by, I took a chance. I got up early and made sure I get there 15 minutes before the door opens on Sunday (7/21). There was no one in line. Couple of rental agents showed up 10 minutes before and promptly opened the shutter at 9am opening time and welcomed me in. By 9:10am, I was already in the car and agent showed me few features on the car. It was a basic car class (Ford Fiest or similar) and I've got a new Toyota Yaris with just 2000 km. My company contract already included CDW and agent offered additional insurance and I declined but there was no push up-sells. Agent was professional and reasonably friendly for a guy. By the way, two more customers showed up while I was getting helped but I can see another agent was already helping the other customers by the time I left the place at 9:10am. The return process was equally fast. I returned at 6pm close time and there was no line. I was out of there in 5 minutes. I think as long as you get there early enough, you will be fine. may be ownership changed or they re-trained the staff recently.

Non hanno una macchina con il navigatore, nemmeno separato ti dicono di usare il tuo smartphone e ti offrono una wf a pagamento per non consumare i tuoi giga per tutto il percorso, in più la macchina con delle spie accese ma ti dicono che è un difetto del sensore delle ruote , ma chissà perché dopo che si sono gonfiate è scomparso

0 star! Don´t rent car here. My friends and I have booked a car on car rentals and have to pick up the car here. The people here tell me i have to guarantee with 2 credit cards or add an other driver. I even write a e-mail before booking this car and ask if there are any problems to rent this car. They say nothing. But when i get there , they tell me 2 credit cards or add driver. The reason why 2 credit cards needed is i haven´t bought their insurance , but i have got other one.

On aurait aimé que le personnel nous explique le fonctionnement des péages automatiques au Portugal... Finalement en rendant la voiture nous avons demandé si nous devions payer les frais d'autoroute. Et là on nous dit qu'en fait faut aller les payer dans un post office mais que on ne peut payer que les 4 derniers jours puis que tout ce qui est dans les dernières 48h n'appaissent pas. Bref tout cela pour vous refourguer une option de paiement au départ mais on aurait aimé être prévenu... En plus je l'ai gentiment expliqué à la personne à l'accueil qui été de mauvaise foi en me disant que tout le monde été au courant... Nous voyageons beaucoup et non nous n'étions pas au courant...

The staff here was actually much better than I expected. I’ve definitely had horrible experiences renting at foreign affiliates of U.S. car rental agencies. Once the paper work was taken care of we had our car and were gone in 15 min. I had a pre-booked online reservation, and once I got to the counter the whole process took about 15-20 min. The staff was actually helpful, answered all my questions, and didn’t try to up-sell me on a bunch of garbage I didn’t want. All that being said, you are going to wait. Period. How long will depend on a number of factors. Our whole experience was about an hour from the time we got there to when we left. Keep in mind, we were there at 10am, on a Tuesday, in the off season. I’m sure in peak season near the end of the week this place is absolutely packed. They had all three attendants working. Averaging about 15-20 min a customer they could process about nine people an hour. This should give you some idea of how long you’re going to wait when you get in line. Of course if people show up without a reservation that throws the whole thing off because those rentals take much longer to process. Honestly, I’ve been at airport rental counters in the U.S. that were way worse than this. All-in-all, nice people but plan on waiting. If you’re trying to be in and out quickly be the first person in line when they open at 8:00am. Couple of additional tid bits that might be helpful. First, if you decline their supplemental insurance, they are going to put about a $2000 hold on your credit card. Second, we opted for the toll easy pass, which I think was four or five euro per day. You pay the totals when you return the car, which from what I saw could be hefty - up to 20 euro. We drove to Faro from Lisbon and passed through two or three toll booths. Since it was off-season there wasn’t much traffic so I’m not sure that the easy pass was necessary from a time saving perspective. Third, cars rented from this agency can be returned to the Lisbon airport.

I rarely write reviews, but I thought I'd share my experience. They are DISHONEST. When we made the online reservation no mention was made of the 1xxx€ they would need to put on hold on the card. Nor did they mention their other 'advantagous' alternatives: if you pay xxx then we only put on hold yyyy. They cheapily take advantage of tourists being stranded their with luggage etc. What are we to do? Well... safe yourself some worries. Don't reserve any car with them, go to the competition. No hidden costs their. Or better if you stay in Lisbon, just take the public transportation. It will safe you some money and worries with regards to parking etc.

Bonjour aux lecteurs. Je n ai pas l habitude de laisser de mauvais avis. Mais là, on nous a pris pour des pigeons. Et donc afin d éviter à d autres les mêmes péripéties je partage mon retour d expérience. Entreprise = Guerin lisez les commentaires sur internet vous aurez compris. (Chose que l on n a pas su.... on a volontairement éviter guerin dans lisbonne pour tomber dessus à l aéroport. ..) Bien que nous ayons réservé fait les démarches par internet on doit faire la queue comme tout le monde pas de fast pass... 45 min minimum. .. Après problème sur le nom de la réservation et la personne qui conduit. Impossible de changer. Il a fallu refaire une réservation. .. (aucune alerte) sauf que la le prix à augmenté... et oui vous n êtes plus par internet... bref aucun compromis ils s en moquent ils ont pleins de pigeons... Si vous pouvez passez votre route...

How to describe this poor quality service, doing a booking with a precise time is stupid you will arrive at the counters and face a huge queue. The desks support Guerin, Alamo, Drive4less and Enterprise. If you booked for someone else with his drivers license and your name, you won't be able to pay for your reservation. They will start a new one a charge you for a new reservation. Europcar did the job for us and for a cheaper price.

It's actually the 'Guerin' just up the road - great location for downtown & staff were friendly. Other reviews noted the queues, but it's hit & miss: 0 other people there when I picked up but about 5 in line when I dropped off. If you want to go to/from downtown it's still probably quicker than taking the metro out to the airport to get a car. Something to note: it is open at the weekends & on public holidays but the Enterprise app/website says it is closed Sat/Sun (as of August 2017). If you book online until the Monday but don't pay up front the staff can refund you the unused days if you drop off during the weekend - if you pay online though they can't refund you anything!

Waited for more than 1hour and 30min for a car booked on the internet. It is not entreprise but an affiliate... No organisation... If you need to pick a car or to drop a car, get prepared for a super long wait...

Don't come to this place. I've been in line for over one hour waiting for service. It's so stupid! They ask you the same questions you've answered on the website. Each customer takes over 20 minutes to get a car... ridiculous

Booked a car online and when I came around to pick it up, was told that they could not accept my credit card because it expired at the end of the month (for a booking from the 11th to the 12th), which was not stipulated anywhere in their terms. Front desk agent showed no sympathy.

This is NOT actually Enterprise - it's just an affiliate with horrible customer service. We arrived only to be rudely greeted by the service rep saying he had no car for us and we needed to just deal directly with Enterprise.

Arrived at 11am to pick up our car & waited 55 mins to get our car, owed to a queue of around 15 people. Enterprise and the management need to sort their crap out and ensure this place has enough staff to cope with demand. Staff were nice and friendly though.

Unacceptable waiting time. We waited for an hour and a half in line. Apparently, that's normal for a Monday morning. If it's that normal, why not have more staff for that time period?
