Não tive problemas no arrendamento da viatura. Foi tudo sem burocracia. Só que me entregaram um veículo 2018 já com o para lama amassado, mas tudo bem, isso não foi problema. Verifiquem o nível do ponteiro de combustível quando recolher o veículo pois eu achei que o reservatório não estava totalmente cheio e me disseram que estava, e que o ponteiro era assim mesmo. Quando enchi o reservatório para devolver o veículo, percebi que eu estava certo e que o veículo me foi entregue com o reservatório não completo.

Had a very good experience with guerin. Nowhere near as long of a wait as other people have experienced (truth be told, there were only 3 other customers). Obtaining the car took 5-10 minutes including wait and the paperwork, and the return of the car also took about 5 minutes. We got the car we paid for, which was nice and clean and helped us see some of Portugal's most beautiful sights.

Okt/Nov 2018: We bestelden/huurden via de Nederlandse firma "SUNNYCARS" een auto OP DE LUCHTHAVEN VAN LISSABON. We haalden deze af bij aankomst hier bij het bureel van "GUERIN" op de luchthaven van Lissabon zelf. Heel goed bereikbaar. De registratie verliep vlotjes en bij gebrek aan de bestelde VW Golf, kregen we een Renault ESPACE (een 7-zitter) met heel wat meer comfort. Ook bij het inleveren (terug op de luchthaven - Eurocars) werd alles heel vriendelijk en vlot terug in ontvangst genomen. EEN POSITIEVE ERVARING. (Wel via Sunnycars NL die je goed op de hoogte houden op voorhand om niet in te gaan op extra verzekeringen en kosten - maar dit werd bij ons zeker NIET opgedrongen.)

Arnaque...! Vous force à prendre l'assurance sous prétexte que votre carte bancaire n'est soit disant pas une carte de crédit et qu'ils ne peuvent donc pas prendre de caution... (il arrive à la prendre pour l'essence 150€, et les péages 60€ !). Pas même une tentative pour prendre la caution alors que dans le monde entier j'ai loué des voitures avec cette même carte (gold mastercard). 1h d'attente au guichet alors que chez les autres loueurs juste à côté ce n'était visiblement pas le cas.

Pas de souci avec ce loueur Réservation passée directement sur le site de Guérin avec km illimité et carburant plein à rendre plein. Restitution prévue dans une autre agence (aéroport de Faro). le service en ligne répond rapidement aux questions posées par mail. La prise en main de la voiture s'est passée convenablement à l'agence de Lisbonne. Un peu d'attente. Employé parlant anglais mais pas français. Difficile de savoir si la caution (carte visa française) était bloquée ou prise sur mon compte. Difficulté à comprendre le dispositif de location supplémentaire pour certaines autoroutes automatiques spéciales. Nous ne l'avons pas pris et ne sommes pas passés par ces autoroutes. Réservoir rempli à 5/8 et non plein. État des lieux de la voiture faisant apparaitre plein de microrayures et tous notés sur le papier. Restitution à l'aéroport de Faro rapide. Aucune inspection de la voiture. Km relevés et essence rendue à 5/8. Aucun problème lors de la restitution. Aucun frais supplémentaire. Après vérification la caution était bloquée et non prélevée. L'employé à rendu le papier de caution bloquée. Globalement c'est une location qui s'est très bien passée.

Worst experience car rental ever... Over 3 hours waiting!!! in the line, and then when we should pick up the car they try to fool us to pick up a smaller car that we have booked and pay for... After about 20 minutes discussion they finally give us a car in the same group. Still don't know what all the huzzle was about. I usually use a "noname" car rental company, not allways perfect, but this one i will not recommend to my worst enemy...or...ehhh... mayby i will :)

We reserved a car more than one month in advanced, a Sear Ibiza or similar. We went there 10 minutes before our scheduled time and the line was not that big but we waited for one hour and 10 minutes. Each couple had problems and they bounced from a person and problem to another. We got a Fiat Panda, not in the same class as a Seat, only one luggage could fit in the trunk, we barely put the second one and imagine driving it on the highway... not fun. But, it was the last available... even if people without reservation got way better cars. We bought our insurance from a third party when we booked, even if we had one, because we read they don’t accept this kind of insurances and they don’t - a couple in front of us had to buy the standard insurance nonetheless. Is best to have insurance, driving in Portugal is not fun. Worst experience ever...

2 hours wait to drop off a car, which took 3 mins. This has got to be the most inefficient car rental place in the world. When picking up the car, they wanted to give us an Hyundai i20, which was according to them "even a class higher than the VW Golf" that we had reserved. Needless to say that we disagreed and we eventually drove off in a better car but still... Would not recommend.

Rented twice at this location while in Lisbon to drive to Setubal and Cascais - they are Enterprise affiliate. Both times we were there before they opened at 8am,so first in line, and Paulo Silva was very efficient and thorough in pulling up our reservation and explaining the insurance offered. We had travel insurance so declined and the policy is they will place a deposit hold on your credit card if €1330 if you don’t buy insurance with them. We wanted the Toll Transponder so they place another deposit hold of US$122 and the rental fee for the transponder is €1.85 which saves a lot of time as we can zap through the V toll lane ( Express Lane). Both times was less then 15 minutes processing and we were out the door. Both deposit was credited backon return of the car with no issue. Had to wait 7-10 days for the toll charges. Paulo spoke good English and was very courteous. I had read reviews their poor service and the long wait and was a bit worried but we were very pleased with their service. The cars were in good conditions (we rented the cheapest manual drive mini as it was only for a day trip). Thought it was only fair I share my experience.

Wir waren wegen der teils sehr schlechten Bewertungen hier etwas skeptisch. In unserem Fall ging es aber sehr schnell (ca. 10 min Wartezeit) und die Mitarbeiter waren extrem freundlich! Es war aber auch Nebensaison, wir konnten uns daher gut vorstellen, dass es zu Ferienzeiten deutlich schlechter ist...

Hier sind echte Betrüger am Werk. Wir buchten von Deutschland aus und wurden bei der Fahrzeugübergabe aufgefordert die Kaution bar zu bezahlen was wir auch machten. Aber leider nie mehr zurück bekommen haben. Aufgrund von mangelnden Sprachkenntnissen hat man uns hier Eiskalt betrogen. Also lasst die Finger von dieser Firma.

Guerin as a rental company- i had really nice experience with no problems at all: Nice new cars, good prices, clear rules. This place as a Guerin rental company is a fault... i was waiting 2hrs(even i came 1hr before the time), there was a big mess, the people working there are not professionals at all, don't really care about whats happening there with no rush and no explenation about rental. When i rented in Porto also in Guerin- the workers there explain me everything and i was amazed. Summary Next time i will choose Guerin for sure, but neither other office than this one!

Não recomendo. Devolvi a viatura/veículo no dia 06/07/2019 e conforme comprovante, foi solicitado o estorno de 300,00 euros cobrado em cartão quando retirei a viatura. No entanto, até hoje dia 23/07/2019, o valor não foi cancelado em meu cartão de crédito. Entrei em contato com o atendimento e me informaram que o valor foi cancelado da parte deles (Enterprise / Guerin) e o problema está com a RedUnicre que é a entidade que administra os pagamentos. Eu não reservei o veículo com a RedUnicre, a viatura foi reservada com a Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Isso é um grande desrespeito aos clientes. Já tive esse mesmo problema na loja Enterprise de Los Angeles / USA. Deviam valorizar mais os clientes. Não recomendo essa loja.

Da dimenticare, con avendo prenotato con un mese di anticipo ina macchina con navigatore ne erano sprovvisti e neppure avevano un navigatore mobile in sostituzione dicendomi che potevo utilizzare il mio smartphone, la macchina aveva le spie dei pneumatici accesi alla mio osservazione del fatto mi hanno detto che non c'era da preoccuparsi perché era un falso contatto, che stranamente è scomparso dopo la messa in pressione fatta da me in un'area di servizio.

Provavelmente a Rent-A-Car com mais anos de tradição em Portugal. A minha mulher foi buscar um carro de substituição indicado pela seguradora há dois dias. Hoje perdeu a manhã toda (das 10h às 12h30) para o conseguir, sujeita a correntes de ar constantes no local de espera. Péssima experiência até agora... Vamos ver na devolução da viatura.

Agence qui rajoute des prix malgré une réservation ferme auprès d’un organisme mettant en concurrence les agences de location de voitures. Service long. La caution demandée est importante (env. 1300 euros). Attention les prix affichés et indiqués sont HT. Il faut compter 23% de TVA à rajouter. Si vous rendez la voiture dans une autre agence que celle où vous prenez la voiture il faut compter 80€ de plus. GPS: 11€/jour. Prévoir également une caution de 150€ au cas où vous rendez la voiture sans le plein d’essence. Aucun état des lieux de réalisé si l’on ne le demande pas. Attention cependant il se fait systématiquement au retour de la voiture. Aucune facture donnée lors de la prise du véhicule.... En résumé: évitez vraiment cette agence.

A bit hard to be understood in English. The concept of the assurance in addition is a bit hard to understand but you feel really secure with that. I'm not sure the cars are really well taken care of but they are easily drivable so go on! Don't hesitate to repeat and ask questions so they make sure you understand.

Attention : ne confondez pas carte de crédit et carte de débit. Une mésaventure en mars 2016 qui me servira de leçon. J'ai réservé un véhicule, et payé avec ma CB (carte de débit) sans souscrire d'assurance. Le jour où on est allé récupérer le véhicule, ils ont imposé le paiement d'une assurance car je n'avais pas payé avec une carte de CRÉDIT et que je n'en avais pas le jour de la location. Le coût de cette assurance avoisinait les 30-40% du montant de ma location. En France, la majorité des CB sont des carte de débit, pas carte de crédit. C'était clairement du chantage. Soit je payais l'assurance, soit je ne partais sans la voiture. J'ignore si c'est maintenant une pratique courante au Portugal et en Europe, mais je ne retournerai plus chez cette agence de location.

Never ever rent a car with Guerin (Enterprise) Lisbon Airport!!! It is a complete rip-off. I reserved a car with them through Expedia. I declined their insurance/waiver because car rental insurance is covered by my credit card company. I showed them my insurance policy. I do this all the time when I rent a car in north america. The guy at the airport location said if you decline their insurance, you need to sign a paper that you will be 100% liable to the cost of the car (36000 EUROS!!!) for any damage and they need to charge your credit CARDS (yes, they needed more than one credit card) that amount as deposit. Who the hell does that?? Plus, not a lot of credit cards has that limit. 36000 EUROS!!! are they out of their mind??? I walked out. Never again with this rental company so BEWARE. If I could give zero stars, I will....

Fui muito bem atendido, carro Renault megane tour novíssimo,valor da locação diária preço bom porém 44€ de taxas vat e quase 70 por pegar em Lisboa e devolver em Porto acabaram onerando o valor final e + 18€ de portagem tol . Mas valeu.

Picking up we had to wait for 4 hours, while having reserves and paid allready and being there at agreed time (there were over 50 people before us, they were out of cars). While bringing back the car they closed the door in front of us (when arriving at agreed time), told us to wait until after lunch, made us want again for hours and were extremely rude, unfriendly and cursed at us. Most unfriendly Portugese people i have ever met, worst car rental Company i have ever dealt with. We rented via another company (sunnycars) that tried to assist, i hope they will stop dealing with guerin.

Worst car rental ever! We booked a car online and when we got at the airport to pick it up we had to wait nearly two hours. Before getting the keys we checked the car (which was not the one we ordered online) for damages with the staff. They told us that they noticed the damages. When dropping off the car after our vacation at faro airport, they tried to make us pay for that damages, which in the end weren't noticed in the papers at all. Just because we took pictures of all the damages we could proof them wrong! It was unbelievable! But it even goes further. When getting the car in Lisbon we didn't get any documents for the car. To be fair we didn't realize that at the pickup. When we returned the car in Faro they made us pay for those missing papers. We told them that we didn't get any, but they even refused to call their branch in Lisbon to see if they still have the papers. Furthermore they refused to let us call with their phone, so we had to use our own cellphones. Naturally the brach in Lisbon didn't pick up the phone even though we tried it more than 10 times.. we've been told to pay the missing papers first and talk to a customer service later, if not they wouldn't release our deposit. It took us one hour to discuss these issues with them, in the end we had to leave because of our flight. It was really frustetrating because one could see that this is not special case but rather a systematical issue. Not only did they make us pay for their own mistakes, but tried to make us pay for old damages! I wouldn't recommend this company at all! If so, be aware that you have to spend extra money but at least extra time to check everything very carefully by your own. Back in Germany we tried to contact the customer service but until now they didn't answer..

Very unsatisfied ! We booked the car on the net and it added automatically the whole garantuee package whitout warning. As a result, we paid 105€ instead of 66€ just for one day fir a Peugeot 207 ! When we went to the car rental, we had to queue for almost an hour to get served, instead of we arrived at the schedulded time to the shop. The were only five guys working for 25 people waiting (including the technicians). The service was horrible, half the staff doesn't really speak english and they are all unfriendly. My advice : never rent a car there !!!

Fui buscar um carro de substituição pois o meu avariou e a minha companhia de seguros providenciou um carro de substituição com a Guerin. Correu tudo muito bem. Franquia talvez demasiado elevada mas nada que a aquisição de um seguro não isente. Carro muito recente em optimas condições e confortável. Não havia linguem quer para levantar como para entregar a viatura por isso o processo foi todo muito rápido. Funcionários simpáticos e disponiveis para esclarecer qualquer questão.

Guerin is a company that has full of traps. 1300 euro deposit needed in the credit card, which must be the one used in online booking (for clio). They trick you with cheap looking online prices when you want to book in advance. In the renting spot company policies can easily push you into corner such that either you will cancel your online booking (you will not get reimbursed) or buy extra insurance (you will end up paying as much as trusted big companies like Europcar). My Guerin experience was full of headache. Never again... 2 stars, because some employees are not completely hearthless.

If you want to waste an hour of your day waiting, rent from this place! It's the second time we rent from here. We thought we'd give them another chance but they insist on having one employee only which means you end up waiting for ever. I really would like to understand why it takes them half an hour to process every customer. What is he doing on that computer of his? The cars are ok and they seem to offer good prices but at some point, it's not worth it anymore.
