In dem Hotel haben wir uns wie Koenige von Portugal gefuehlt. Eingerichtet wie einer der Koenigspalaeste, mit sehr schoener Gartenanlage, eine sehr ruhige Oase in der belebten Stadt. Dazu noch eine 1a Kueche -- rundum empfehlenswert, und jeden cent Wert.

Excellent service, excellent Food, breakfast is outstanding as well as their dinner restaurant. Spa is extremely nice and the staff simply outstanding. I noticed that The hotel has a funny smell of humidity, I think their air condition needs an upgrade of some improvement with the smell. The room also has that smell.

Gorgeous hotel in a quieter section. Nearby a trolley route if you dont want to walk. Wonderful breakfast. Attentive staff. It is the finest hotel I ever stayed at. We loved the room. Incredible view. Perfect.

I am completing my stay here currently. The staff are wonderful and friendly. They answered all of our questions and provided insider tips for places to go and see on day trips. Parking is free and the bell device staff happily happily parked our car for us. The hotel is luxurious and clean. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. If you are able to splurge to stay here would highly recommend. If I were to come back to Lisbon I would not stay anywhere else.

This hotel is in a quiet part of Lisbon but still close to all the sights via a short taxi or uber ride. Why the three stars? It just felt impersonal. The swimming pool was great; however the rest of the staff could really care less to make you feel special. The hotel is also dated. Very old bedding and feels a little tired.

We had a fantastic stay in the Olissippo Lapa Hotel. Breakfast was perfect, even tasty gluten-free bread and Muffins readyly available, alongside great fruit of all sorts. The garden and pool area is wonderful. For dinner, I can recommend the Michelin grade restaurant - a must go. Service was impeccable and everybody extremely forthcoming and charming. We are looking forward to coming back to spend another holidays, here!

Excellent séjour au sein de ce magnifique palace et de son jardin reposant. Situation géographique idéale pour visiter Lisbonne. Personnel attentif et disponible... les conseils sont souvent judicieux. Un peu décevants les équipements de salle de bains et notamment la douche qui « date » un peu. Enfin une réserve quant à la sonorité des chambres surtout si vos voisins sont bruyants ! Mais globalement tout était réuni pour un séjour agréable.

Nice place although on the outskirts of Lisbon itself. Staff were quite friendly and were able to communicate in English. The rooms are affordable if you are travelling on a low budget and considering that it came with breakfast (very basic though).

The Valentine's meal and gift spa massage for two were glorious. The front desk and door/taxi service was excellent. The piano bar served food and beverage as needed. I sang two songs with the piano man to pleasant applause. Thank you. Room and water temperature controls as needed. Nothing not to like. The wives loved the gift massages. Thanks.

The hotel is in an excellent location and all the staff were extremely pleasant. The food at breakfast and the range and choice is superb but one does find one's self constantly interrupted by staff who are cleaning plates as you are taking your last mouthful. The indoor pool area is small but adequate. The steam bath and sauna are small but fit for purpose. The gymnasium is reasonably well kitted out. The shiatsu massage in the Wellness Centre is one of the best that I have had. The rooms are fine and the bathroom is of a good size. The views from the hotel to the Tagus are beautiful. The gardens are well-tended. I would return against if on business in Lisbon.
Because the property is 5* graded and listed in "The Leading Hotels of the World" one is obliged to pick out the smallest items for consideration. As follows:
1. Ashtrays in the Smoking Room are not regularly attended to
2. Ashtray on the room balcony is not emptied on a daily basis
3. The room safe is too small for a 5* property
4. The complimentary water bottles should be placed in the fridge and not in full sunlight on the room desk
5. The in-room fruit basket contained spoiled fruit on consecutive days and was not removed until it was pointed out
6. The bar service ceases at 1730 on certain days with no alternatives
7. The reception area is freezing cold and if one is working during early morning or late evening the open doors adversely affect the temperature no matter where one sits in
8. Soundproofing in rooms needs significant improvement, standard chat and noise from the neighbouring room was clearly and annoyingly audible at all times
9. The noise from the piano bar is clearly audible in the room even some distance from the piano bar and late into the night
10. There is a consistent noise of rave music on the docks clearly audible in the room
11. There is congestion at the entrance to the property for both cars and arrival in taxis
12. The flagstone steps around the pool area are very poorly designed and dangerous
13. The room service menu is somewhat limited
Room tip: Choose a room that is far away from the piano bar and reception as noise travels at this property

This hotel is gorgeous!!!! My only complaint is that the staff was not very personable. Every time I walked by the front desk, I unwelcome and uncomfortable. I travel all over the world and stay mostly in five star hotels. This was very surprising and disappointing to be made to feel inferior by a hotel front desk for no apparent reason. On the third day of our stay, my husband asked me out of nowhere if I felt they were judging us every time we walked by. I agreed and was sad he felt the same way.

Está situado num Palácio do século xIx com excelentes vistas para o Tejo, perto da cidade de Lisboa. É frequentado por boa clientela, tem boas condições de acesso. Considera-se com boa ventilação e espaço, bom ambiente musical e os preços são altos. A cozinha é muito criativa.

Perfect place to stay in lisbon. Beautifully maintained all over with fabulous gardens and pool area. Service was superb from front desk, door staff and bar staff and the food/breakfast was excellent. A little way out from the main centre but easy 5 min taxi drive away. Only one issue is poor soundproofing between rooms in the garden wing and if you have early risers or a screaming baby in the room above, it is intrusive. Suprised also that in a hotel of this calibre there is no suggestion made to parents to not bring their screaming babies into the bar at night and treat it like a creche... but ultimately the hotel cant be responsible for ignorant parents i guess.

Stunning refined hotel on a hill top in Lisbon. Artful foyer with liveried staff who cannot do enough for you. The breakfast terrace is beautiful but the interiors are even more opulent redolent of a more refined era.

The hotel was situated outside the main commercial area of Lisbon which was a plus and a minus. The plus was it tranquility, the minus although minute was the distance to get into the centre. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel rooms were amazing particularly in the palace section and were spotlessly clean.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. It is beautiful, the staff was attentive, friendly and super helpful. Anyone we spoke to was pleasant and knowledgeable and did not hesitate to assist when asked. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to be pampered.

The hotel is an interesting old building. However, it isn't close to anything that tourists would be interested in. We had a room on the first floor. The shower wouldn't drain and flooded the bathroom floor. The breakfast was mediocre - some warm things were warm.

We had five nights at this marvellous hotel, on arrival we were greeted by the reception staff who were very friendly and made us feel welcome.
Our room was spacious, clean and had a great river view, the bathroom was also extremely tidy and had plenty room with ‘his&hers’ wash basins.
The concierge staff were extremely helpful offering advice on tours, restaurants and places to visit.
We did not eat in the main restaurant but it looked very nice as did the menu.
Instead we chose to eat in the bar area which was well laid out with a nice terrace outside complete with statue and fountains (and pigeons :)
The food was outstanding! At no time did either of us have a meal we didn’t enjoy. The bar staff were also extremely helpful, friendly and efficient.
Paulo and his colleague (sorry, didn’t catch his name) were particularly helpful even going as far as reserving our usual table on our last evening. Paulo recommended both food and wine and we were never disappointed.
I would ask the management to recognise these guys, particularly Paulo, who went above and beyond.
This is a fabulous hotel away from the city centre and is quiet, peaceful and a place to relax.
I absolutely recommend this hotel and will definitely be back in the future. 10/10 and worth each of its 5 stars.

We enjoyed our 3 days here in connecting rooms with our kids. The location is in a very quite neighborhood. Hotel has a lot of charm and the outdoor pool is very serene. Good gym and wonderful spa from the looks of it.

Globalement très bonne expérience, personnel aux petits soins, petits déjeuners de bonne qualité (si vous souhaitez du thé vert insistez sur le vert sinon vous aurez un thé anglais basique), piscine chauffée dans un bel espace vert, chambre et salle de bains spacieuses.Deux petits hics: une literie un peu molle et une insonorisation qui pourrait être améliorée (nous entendions la voisine tousser pendant la nuit).

Très bel hôtel, confortable, personnel aux petits soins sans être envahissant, ici on fait tout pour que vous vous y sentiez bien. Bien que proche du centre un beau jardin permet de se reposer au vert ,de piquer une tête dans la piscine ou encore d apprécier un soin ou un bain au spa.Certains pourront regretter l éloignement du centre ville et des sites à visiter, mais il y a les taxis.. d un autre côté il est bien agréable de se retrouver au calme en fin de journée.

The staff make this hotel shine. If something was wrong they made it right.
I enjoyed and had a wonderful stay here! It is not so close to the city center so it is very relaxing. A short taxi ride anywhere in Lisbon and also close to some very fine restaurants.

Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb des Geschehens. Das ist sehr angenehm. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Das Hotel und die Ausstattung sind in die Jahre gekommen. Aber es ist ein Platz zum Wohlfühlen. Das Personal könnte auf jeden Fall etwas engagierter sein.

Nous avons été accueillis dans cet hôtel calme de style classique mais tres beau situé dans le beau quartier des ambassades par un personnel souriant tres poli avec un anglais parfait.Nous avons dîner au piano bar le soir avec un verre de vin blanc portugais délicieux .Le petit déjeuner est copieux avec des fruits frais délicieux.J'ai été agréablement surprise de la disponibilité et discrétion du personnel.J'ai pu avoir du pain sans gluten et mes œufs coque tous les matins.Les jardins sont splendides et paisibles.On entend chanter Les oiseaux!Les deux piscines extérieure et intérieure superbes et chauffées à 29 °cLe hamman est commun mais le sauna est dissocie homme/femme.Exactement le séjour de rêve que Nous voulions pour notre anniversaire de mariage!

From start to finish our stay was absolutely amazing, The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, we stayed in the tower room which was amazing and offered spectacular views from its two balconies across the river and of the suspended bridge. Extremely reasonable price for drinks and food from a five star hotel. The outside pool area offers a lovely pool bar offering food and drinks with waiter service to your sunbed, very calm and relaxing. Would definitely come again.

Es hat alles wundervoll funktioniert , sehr gut geschultes Personal , super Küche , Preise in Mini Bar und an der Bar überhöht ( eine 0,2 ltr, Cola muss keine 6 €uro kosten )Bei einem Hotel in der 300 €uro pro Nacht Kategorie , erwarte ich ein Willkommensgruß auf dem Zimmer , Obst - Schokolade etc .Es gab leider nichts !!

This was our fourth trip to the Lapa Palace and it was just as fabulous as it has always been. Probably the best hotel We have ever stayed at in Europe. Staff are fantastic and it has a really traditional and elegant feel, but is not stuffy. We particularly like the fact that there are no tray charges or supplements for room service and we use it quite a bit so we can have a causal meal on our balcony, whether breakfast, lunch or dinner. Fantastic breakfast buffet too, with sparkling wine. We have a standard room on level three and it is excellent- in our opinion, if you can get this level, no need to pay extra for a higher category room.

Der Aufenthalt war mit Abstrichen bei der Servicequalität unvergesslich und sehr erholsam. So buchten wir sogar einen Verlängerungsnacht. Ein tolles Hotel, mit toller Pool-Anlage, in einer ruhigen Gegend (keine Restaurants/Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Umgebung), und trotzdem nahe der Innenstand.

Das Hotel ist mit der Pool-Anlage und den grossen Zimmer eine Wucht! Wir haben hier extra noch eine Nacht verlängert, weil wir uns so wohl fühlten und am Pool entspannen konnten. Leichte Abstriche gibt es wegen dem Service: beim Frühstück ging die Kaffeebestellung zweimal vergessen, die Bedienung am Pool ist eher mittelmässig (wenn man nichts will, dann ist es allerdings perfekt), das Nichtraucher-Zimmer roch stark nach Rauch und wurde erst nach Reklamation gewechselt. Diese Punkte trübten den ansonsten tollen Aufenthalt etwas. Nichtsdestotrotz würden wir wieder kommen, den der Erholungseffekt kommt nicht zu kurz: in der Nacht ist es ruhig, der Poolbereich (und die Liegestühle) war nie überfüllt, immer fand sich ein Platz (Badetücher liegen bereit), das Frühstücksbuffet ist ordentlich. Dazu kommt die Nähe zur Innenstadt: mit dem Taxi ist es eine kurze Fahrt für rund 5-6 Euro, und auch das Tram liegt in Gehdistanz (ca. 10 Min.).

An adorable outdoor swimming pool, a quiet location but lacking any real atmosphere. Staff very helpful without being over-attentive, very comfortable beds and generally a pleasant weekend stay. However, this hotel feels a bit dated (as opposed to vintage) and is not quite up to a flawless 5 star standard.

Of all the hotels we stayed at in Spain and Portugal this was by far the best. Outstanding staff, beautiful accommodations, and fantastic food. This is a must stay for anyone traveling to Lisbon.

séjour agréable ,toutefois la réservation faîte sur internet précisait vue sur la piscine ,notre chambre avait une vue sur un jardinet ...Le deuxième jour ,la femme de ménage a pris par inadvertance mon pyjama qui fût envoyé avec les draps de la chambre au service de nettoyage .Je nai pas pu le récupérer car cétait le week-end !Le buffet du petit déjeuner est copieux mais la qualité des produits est très moyenne .

Die Getränke sind sehr teuer. Ein Expresso kostet 6 Euro, in der Stadt selber höchstens 1,5 Euro! Das Morgen-.Buffet rangiert, gemessen an der Klasse dieses Hotels, eher im unteren Bereich (z.B. ausschliesslich Gummi-Brötchen).

Ein Kompliment an das Hotelmanagement und den Staff.Zuvorkommend, fremdsprachig hervorragend geschult- nur an das Englisch der Portugiesen muss man sich gewöhnen. Das portugiesische Idiom schlägt immer wieder durch. Deutsch wird ebenso verstanden und gesprochen.Die Lage des Hotels in Lapa auf einem der vielen Hügel von Lissabon-es sind nicht 7 sondern sicher sieben mal sieben- ist ausgezeichnet. Parkartige Anlage und Blick auf den Tejo. Das stilvolle Ambiente entspricht voll den im Prospekt gemachten Angaben. Ausgezeichnete KücheStecken sie genug Kleingeld für die Taxifahrten ein, da der Weg zur Straßenbahn doch ewtas längert dauert, und das aufsteigen zum Hotel bei höheren Temperaturen schon etwas mühselig ist. Taxifahren ist ist Lissabon preiswert. Ca. 7-8 Euro in die Altstadt.Ich werde wenn ich das nächste mal in Lissabon bin, das Hotel sicher wieder auswählen..

We really enjoyed our hotel, friendly staff with very helpful concierge. We liked out room and did order room service which was fast and good (a bit pricy)
Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there, when we visit Lisbon next time.

Un établissement qui a tout pour plaire à ceux qui préfèrent l’hôtellerie de luxe dans des bâtiments chaleureux à taille humaine et qui apprécient l'ambiance délicieusement surannée qui va avec. Rien à voir avec à l'approche "à l'américaine" que proposent la plupart des autres hôtels de même catégorie à Lisbonne (des grands bâtiments, certes offrant sans doute également de bonnes prestations, mais sans âme).
La piscine extérieure, dans son écrin de verdure tropicale est exceptionnelle, on peine à croire qu'on est en pleine ville !
Les services de spa que nous avons également testés sont aussi de qualité.

Een fantastische uitgangsbasis om Lissabon te leren kennen. Aan het einde van een dag in de stad heerlijk ontspannen bij het mooie zwembad met tuin. Het restaurant is van erg goede kwaliteit en de service op hoog niveau. Alles is heel mooi onderhouden.

Das Lapa Palace ist ein wunderschönes Hotel mit herrlicher Parkanlage und grossem Aussenpool. Das Hotel ist zur Fuss sowie mit dem öV sehr gut erreichbar. Das grosse Zimmer im 6. Stock mit Blick auf den Tejo und die bekannte Brücke war ein Traum. Die Servicequalität ist ganz ausgezeichnet und die Mitarbeitenden waren ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Hotel ist in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand und verfügt im weiteren über einen Innenpool, Saunalandschaft, Spa Center, Bar sowie Restaurant mit Terrasse. Das grosse u. abwechslungsreiche Frühstücksbuffet befindet sich in einem seperaten Restaurant mit einem offenen Innenhof. Wir können das Hotel zu 100% weiterempfehlen und würden bei einem nächsten Aufenthalt auf jeden Fall wieder im Lapa Palace reservieren.

Das Hotel liegt zwar etwas ausserhalb im Botschaftsviertel, aber selbst zu Fuss ist man in 30-45 Minuten in der Altstadt. Zuvorkommender Service, ein schöner Pool und Garten in überschaubarem Rahmen und sehr ruhig.Das Frühstück ist vielfältig mit vielen frischen Früchten. Vielleicht wäre etwas mehr Auswahl an Müesli zu vermerken, aber man muss ja auch nicht überall das gleiche Essen wollen.Insgesamt eine sehr gute Wahl um von diesem Hotel aus Lissabon zu erkunden.

El personal del hotel excelente, super simpático y atento, en un lugar tranquilo, rodeado de embajadas, las instalaciones maravillosas, con un precioso jardín en el cual se encuentra una piscina, la otra es cubierta, con sauna, baños turcos, gimnasio, en fin lo recomiendo y espero volver. Gracias por todo tanto a Expedia como al todo el personal del Lapa Palace.
