Great location, in the middle of everything. The metro station is around the corner and a lot of nice restaurants, bars and touristic highlights are within walking distance. We decided to arrive a day earlier than expected/booked and the staff was super helpful to get our luggage in the right room, even when we were away for the day. Besides that the rooms were nice and very clean. I would definitely recommend!

These guest rooms have a great location and are very clean. The street is very noisy, even late at night. This of course is beyond the control of the staff, but is indeed a variable in the location. Be prepared for many obnoxious fees. Their website Online Booking fee — €1.50 “Late” checkin fee (is 5:30pm late for a check-in) — €10 Towel fee — €1 per towel (I’m glad I didn’t have to pay for the sheets) Credit card payment fee —€2 Many other fees if you eat or drink in room, etc. Actually room payment was €55 for a shared shower that was usually occupied. In that case, there are many better options in town for that price and would encourage one to look for a more relaxed environment.

Great place, super friendly and helpful staff, best location you could possibly think of in Lisbon, beautiful room, great prices, wish the shower in the bathroom was a bit stronger but that's the only complaint I can possibly think of. Five stars for sure :)

Solid place for a few nights in Lisbon on a budget. Room/bathroom very clean! Staff friendly and helpful. This is VERY central, all the key areas of Lisbon are easily accessed from here. Only docked one star as there's essentially no noise insulation so you hear everything (inside and out). However not a deal breaker as it isn't a large enough place to have people milling about the halls day and night, and the commotion in the square below typically dies off around 11-12. Plus, Lisbon has so much to see and so many hills to walk, you'll be exhausted anyway!

Excellent value for that price. Placed right in the center. Friendly stuff, clean rooms. The rest of the house (entrance, lift) is very old and smelly. The design is interesting and all rooms have a different but nice style - the furniture has seen better times, though. Would recommend if you travel on a small budget and like to stay in the center.

I had 3 nights here in late September and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for comfortable, simple accommodation in the centre of Lisbon. The central location is excellent, room was clean and comfortable, shared bathrooms were clean and modern and the room had great sir conditioning. Staff were friendly and welcoming. There was a little bit of noise from the squares near by but nothing too intrusive and not after midnight, which is pretty good given the location .

En plein centre de Lisbonne, l'hôtel dispose de jolies chambres décorées avec soin avec salle de bain privative. L'accueil est charmant en tout point. Pour les familles avec bébé, possibilité d'avoir un lit parapluie d'appoint. Proche de toutes commodités (transports en commun, restaurants ...). Nous recommandons (séjour en février 2018).

It is a very nice place to stay at. Very clean and cosy, high-quality employees included and the location couldn't be more convenient. A perfect match for a calmer holiday :)

Stayed here for 2 nights in February. The location of the hostel is amazing, right in the heart of town centre, metro station and everything else. Check in was easy and reception staff was friendly. We walked everywhere. We stayed in the room with its own bathroom, the facilities are adequate and everything was clean. The only down side was the humming noise constantly in the background either from the ventilation in the bathroom or outside, I wasn't sure. There is a lift to take you to their 4th floor, albeit it's a bit dated, like the building itself. It's definitely good value for a weekend break in a city centre location.

Muy buena ubicación, en el centro de la ciudad. Se puede ir andando a todos los sitios más turísticos. Habitación amplia y limpia. Personal muy agradable. Buena calidad/precio. Lo recomiendo totalmente!

Poets Privates was very accommodating and allowed us to store one big piece of luggage when we stayed a night in Sintra. Place is clean and convenient, although a tad difficult to find - you’ll just look for the sign “Poets” at the buzzer.

Cannot complain with its cheap price. Some headsup: Checkin time slot is short: 3-5pm, I apologize for not telling the hotel of my arrival time, but I arrived at 4:55pm, the staff was leaving and told me that he was supposed to be off shift already and already marked me as no show. So he charged me 10 euro for late checkin, I rejected because my arrival was just in time. Facility: over all clean, no hair dryer, no towel. Location: great, at Chiado.

Perfekte Lage (vieles ist fußläufig zu erreichen und die Metro ist quasi vor der Tür). Unser Zimmer (Margerite) war sauber, angenehm und komfortabel. Die Gemeinschaftsbäder waren auch vollkommen okay und sauber.

I had a 16 hour layover in Lisbon and wanted something close to the airport and public transportation, clean, comfortable, and was close to the water - Lisbon Poets Privates was exactly that! Check-in was a breeze, the room was amazing, and the person that checked me was was extremely helpful!

The location of Lisbon Poets is really great. It is right next to metro station Baixa-Chiado and it's right between Bairro Alto (which is great for restaurants and bars), Chiado and Baixa (shopping and restaurants). The rooms are nice and tidy, there are plenty (4) bathrooms which are cleaned daily and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Above all, the price was very good for everything you get.

Very nice, clean, central, private rooms with free on street parking. Wonderful helpful and friendly staff, highly recommended.
