This hotel is so clean and has an army of staff who are all very friendly and say hello . Nothing was too much trouble and I would definitely stay again and recommend to friends

From the start to finish we found the hotel marvelous. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The hotel was so clean the were staff cleaning constantly.
As one of my sister is very nervous in a car we found the taxi driver we got from the hotel to be very careful driver and friendly.

Had a great stay at the Crowne Plaza. Was close to the beach and marina, lots of beach bars close by. Pool was great and staff couldn’t help more. Beautiful hotel will be returning.

The Crowne Plaza Vilamoura continues to be an excellent hotel for all ages. They were celebrating their 9th birthday during our recent stay with free drinks and tapas. They have a lot to celebrate-the calm cool interiors are beautifully maintained and the staff are friendly and professional. The breakfasts were amazing.

Fantastic... just fantastic... only had 5 nights bed and breakfast but wish we had stayed longer .. breakfast was unbelievable, the choice seemed endless.. staff so friendly and helpful .. we will be back next year (or sooner if we can)

building work outside hotel means currently noisy 7 decision to not yet switch air conditioning on means you have to sleep with windows / doors open meaning you are woken early to the sound of building work

Really nice hotel.
Breakfast excellent, also hotel grounds re swimming pool sun beds etc.
I booked a junior suite which I don’t think is value for money, the cost just doesn’t justify what you get.

Great mini break, stayed in room 1102 which had views of beach and marina and a 2 floor appointment which was lovely.
Stayed half board and food, facilities and service where all really good.
Would recommend and would stay again!

Was a short stay for a birthday treat had the most relaxing time the staff where very pleasant and friendly, we used the spa for a massage and used the spa area all very clean and professional like the rest of the hotel.

This was our first time at the Crowne Plaza, Vilamoura and we had a really lovely stay. The weather was a little changeable but the hotel and its staff did not disappoint. Some of the procedures are a little quirky-requesting and returning pool towels to the receptionist for example. I also found it odd that there was only one chair on the balcony in a double room. The bath towels should be bigger. Apart from these few minor things, it was a lovely hotel. The breakfast was of good quality and plentiful with a selection to keep everyone happy. All in all, we would recommend this hotel to others and will no doubt return ourselves.

Overall this is a fantastic place to stay made better by the fact that the staff throughout the hotel were first class! Could not do enough for you. Friendly faces at every turn. Choice of food for breakfast was outstanding. The accommodation was superb throughout!! Only problem - if this is the standard, everywhere else is going to fall well short in comparison!!!

We have stayed at this hotel , twice a year, over the passed 6 years and have always enjoyed the welcoming form excellent staff and facilities, but sadly on this occasion , changes in some management seem to have changed the overall atmosphere of the hotel. The staff in the dining room, bar and reception go out of their way to make guests welcome, but it's a pity the management are seem Noticeable by their absence or interest in their guests.
During our visit, building work was being undertaken adjoining the bar and sitting areas, it would have been appropriate if some form of apology could have been made to guests on arrival or even during booking to adviise guests of the building work..
We had reason to complain about sewage odour in our room and the attitude of the under manager was very disappointing, eventually, an alternative room was arranged.
Fortunately, the hotel staff made up for these management shortcomings.

Nice hotel that would be so much better if the dining experience was better. nowhere to eat nicely poolside. pool bar poor. had to take bags and get dressed to go to rear of hotel for lunch, with no views. Perimeter fence to beach needs to be move out 10 metres and dropped to sea level. If sunbathing on grass it feels like you are in prison.

The dividing door in our bedroom did not provide insulation from sound and we were woken twice by the people in the adjoining room
The first time this happened the neighbours were fighting at around 2 in the morning . We reported this to reception the following morning . They apologised but said they couldn’t
5 do anything about it . They asked us to ring reception if it happened again
The following night we were woken up again at around 2am
By the same neighbours being loud although not fighting , so we felt we couldn’t ring reception .
So two of our four nights are disturbed by noise

Annual trip with the lads, ideal for a 4-5 day trip. Lots to do entertainment good, good choice of restaurants and reasonably priced.Keep away from the casino the bouncers are out and out bullys and thugs. Only bad experience

Lovely hotel, stayed in room 229 (suite) great views and stunning room. Well worth upgrading. Breakfast was lovely. About 5-8 minute walk to the marina on one side and 5 minute walk the other way to some family old style run seafood restaurants, friendly and helpful staff. Only one regret we only booked for two nights sadly going home tomorrow, would definitely come back.

Rudolph made our morning so special such a happy friendly Guy who always took an interest in talking to us and making sure we had everything we needed. Some people may say he gets paid for this but when we were out walking one day he was and spending time with his partner but he still came over and spoke to us in the same friendly manner. Guided us to see the fish market and what and where to eat such a smashing chap. He really stood out for us on this holiday.

While the hotel rooms are stunning. The grounds outside the hotel are not great. Caution at the kiddies pool as often the covers are left off the drains for the pool and kids get their feet trapped.

Great location on beach. description of room on hotel website is deceptive. We booked delux with sea view but in reality it is partial sea view as the room is located at side of hotel. This same room on the exact same weekend last year (3 nights) was €150 cheaper !! Nice bathroom, but no conditioner provided and quality of towels could be a bit better given its a 5 star hotel.Staff are nice especially the restaurant staff. Breakfast fab. Lots of choice hot and cold. Room adequate.. Tea and coffee making facilities. Nespresso machine with only 4 pods extra pods are availabile but at a charge of €2 each.
Would love to stay again if price does not go up again

My stay at the crown plaza was a wonderful experience from the day we arrived until the day we left all sfaff so friendly and helpful the location of the hotel is excellent beside the sea and 5 min walk to the lovely marina in vilamoura. The breakfast each morning was amazing with such a choice.I hope to go back to it in the future.

Some of it was under reconstruction, was very disappointed by the heating in the swimming pools not working.
The food, especially the buffets were pretty good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially accommodating for our young child.

I loved every bit of my stay in Crowne Plaza and Vilamoura.
Will certainly come back with family. Excellent location, walking distance from marina, shops, restaurants, casino with beach just next door! What more can one ask for! Also great ambience, clean rooms and elegant bathrooms with scenic view of the sea. Easy access to all other parts of other sight seeing places. Nice buffet, very friendly and helpful staff. They sorted my sightseeing too. Timely shuttle service. Quick room service.Would highly recommend and certainly come back again!

We’ve stayed at this hotel on a few occasions. Loved it. We phoned to book our reservation. Nothing was said about renovations. When we arrived the big lounge was full of dust. One thing we loved about the hotel was the beautiful veranda where you could eat, read and generally relax. They were working on it so the only place you could sit out side was by the pool but because of strong winds this was not possible. If we had known of the work going on at the hotel we wouldn’t have booked. I think the hotel should have told us what was happening

The building work did hinder our holiday. We were aware that it was going on and were told by Jet2 one week before we arrived. It was noisy and dusty around the pool area. Sun beds were uncomfortable with no padded cushions. Pool was very cold. We were told that we could use the indoor pool but were expected to pay €11 each per day. We thought this charge was a little too much to ask, especially with the building work in place. No outdoor seats to capture the nice weather to sit and read and have a drink. The only option was in the indoor areas which wasn’t always appealing, especially when we like sitting outside. We found ourselves wanting to walk out of the hotel to try and find outdoor seating for coffees and general drinks. Evening meal was good quality but very predictable. No provision for us to pay a little extra for the a la carte. It was either buffet meal or pay full price for the a la carte. Most hotels we’ve stayed in allow a supplementary payment for a la carte but this request was rejected.

We stayed 6 nights in de-luxe room, lovely hotel, very clean, good size bedrooms and pool area, staff very friendly but on going building work made one afternoon very noisy with constant drilling.
I can't understand this modern thinking of glass walls to the bathroom area, it may look good but it is not practical, although you can drop the blinds for privacy. Breakfast was good but dinner a bit disappointing, only one type of meat available in the evening and that was generally only just warm and over cooked. deserts were good. Evening entertainment if any wasn't very good, we were embarrassed by the positioning of the entertainment area, it is at one end of the reception area and not in a separate room; singers had compete with two very noisy poole tables a few feet away on one side and a large screen TV showing football on the other side, please show some consideration to the performers and move the piano and entertainment area the other end of the reception area. although there was free water in the rooms it would be nice to have access to drinking water in the reception
area.

We really enjoyed a wonderful relaxing holiday at Crown Plaza Vilamoura. All services and staff are excellent. We particularly enjoyed a glass of port on our balcony every evening while we watched the setting sun. Magical.

A lovely hotel with first class service.I was recognised by the young man who took my case in and given help with taking it out on my departure.Breakfast was all you could wish for- a super selection..

Experiência desagradável. Para festejar o meu aniversário os meus filhos reservaram este hotel escolhendo quarto com vista lateral mar . Em vez disso o que tivemos foi a da cupula do SPA, que tapa quaisquer vista.
Quisemos prolongar a estadia e queixamo- nos do fato de nos terem atribuido um quarto inferior ao da tarifa contratada.
Confirmaram que efetivamente aquele quarto não tinha vista e para prolongarmos a estadia tambem não podiam manter o preço contratado de 90 euros. A tarifa do dia seguinte era de 100euros. Aleguei que visto termos sido prejudicados nos deveriam manter a tarifa de 90 euros até porque c tinhamos uma pré reserva. Nem assim. Fizemos mesmo o check out.
Para terminar só dizer que o pequeno-almoço é variado mas não justifica o valor de 50 euros que me cobraram por dois pequenos almoços extra de familiares que nos visitaram.
De realçar que se passou em epoca baixa , fevereiro, com o hotel com pouca ocupação.
Não voltarei, nem recomendo.

Bon rapport qualité prix pour la demi pension , on aimerait un plus d’attention de la part du personnel pour un établissement 5 étoiles.
Un petit effort du côté du restaurant avec des plats plus travaillés, plus en phase avec un 5 étoiles serait agréable.
Petit déjeuner globalement très satisfaisant.

Hotel was above expectation....photos do it no justice.
Went as a family for short break . We were on 9th floor and the views from the balcony were great . Kids are fussy with food but breakfast catered for all tastes and plenty of it and fresh and high quality.Even have some take out food if in rush or fancy taking coffee back to room.
The rooms are superb ...unlike other holiday hotels where bedrooms can be basic. Loved the fact that the screen between shower room and bedroom can be lifted ....gave the room a really airy feeling. Would definatly go again and have recommended to others .

The Crowne Plaza is an excellent hotel and cannot be recommended enough. It is in a great location close to the beach and town. The rooms are excellent and the bathroom has to be experienced. Breakfast is highly recommended and should accommodate all tastes. Treat yourselves and try this hotel out.

Nous supposons qu’à la belle saison, ça doit être différent par l’importance e du complexe...
Pour nous, qui avons des problèmes de dos, matelas trop ferme.
La cuvette des toilettes de notre chambre était décelée à revoir !

I have had many short stays at this Hotel over the years. It is my preferred destination in the Algarve. Overall the Hotel offers very good facilities and service. The front desk staff in particular are always very friendly, the breakfast choice is superb, the rooms are modern and comfy. There is an ample bar and lounge area which is also very pleasant.

Excellent service I must say....once back in Gib I noticed that I had left two of my shirts behind so I immediately called the hotel and was put with Alexandra who informed me that they had the shirts and that they would send them to Gibraltar...a really first class service, and again thank you very much Alexandra.

Mosquitoes were a problem although we found out after we’d been bitten that there were proper mosquito nets on the windows. They weren’t obvious. The decor was a little plain but altogether it was a very good stay. Staff very friendly. Lovely position on the beach and lots of places to take good walks to.

We spent two weeks here during Jan 2019. We were comfortable and relaxed, and all the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, often going out of their way. The hotel is super, very spacious with several lounges and a big bar area, free wi-fi, plus outside patio, gardens and pool. It was too cold to try the fab outdoor pool, but to use the indoor one we would have had to pay to join the spa for the day. We weren't interested in any of the other aspects of the spa, sauna, or gym, and felt a quick indoor swim should have been freely available. The only other downside was that the evening meals were of an inconsistent quality, and we thought the evening buffet was overpriced at 30 euros a head. The breakfast buffet was superb and couldn't be faulted.

Loved our stay at the crown plaza. The location was ideal for a golfing holiday and walking distance to beach and marina.
Hotel staff were polite and efficient. The hotel had an I intimate feel with its stylish decor and vaulted ceilings.
Room was spacious and comfortable.. evening and breakfast buffet were exceptional.

Yet another excellent stay here, the only thing I dont understand is the glass bathroom, am I too old to understand why you require a view into the bathroom ? and whats with having the toilet in a glass room?Apart from that this has to be one of the best hotels for breakfast, they seem to have everything.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were very helpful, kind and professionals.
If you stay you will have to pay separately for the SPA and can get a discount if you wish to use the SPA for 3 or 4 days we paid 53.00 for 2 of us to use the part for 4 day's.
This hotel is the best 5 star hotel we have ever stayed at, it was lovely, I would highly recommend this hotel. We hope to return back to the hotel in the future.

We had a wonderful 1 week stay in early March, from arrival to departure the staff couldn’t have been more helpful, our request of a high floor and cot in the room were sorted before our arrival and our room was ready for early check in as our flight was early in the morning. The food for breakfast and dinner in Catalonia was wonderful and room service was fast and great quality food too the drinks and food prices are fair and the bar staff and waiters are very friendly and welcoming, cocktails at the bar were outstanding as always!
We love staying at this hotel and wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting Vilamoura. Thank you Crowne Plaza for another amazing stay!

From the moment we stepped inside the hotel door the staff couldn't do enough for us. They were all so helpful especially Mario in ensuring our stay went well. The hotel itself is perfect for a relaxing break. It's, bright and cool and a place to totally relax. It's situated in an ideal location with all amenities close by, sea, marina, restaurants and Quarteria, lovely walks and yet there is no noise. Our room was fabulous, clean and beds so comfortable. Great showers and bathroom. Breakfast is amazing with all kind
of fruit, cheese, hams, breads, homemade jams, variety of cakes and cooked breakfast. There was very good live music so we could dance. The bar staff are lovely but It's a pity about the price of drink. It's way too expensive, that was the only thing that bothered us. Overall its a hotel that I would definitely go back to.

Unfortunately we had to make several complaints. Firstly no hot water for two days. Then couldn't have a bath because the stopper didn't work. Several people spoke to us about the terrible music which was being played everywhere, I spoke to reception, nothing done about it, so had to put earplugs in. There was virtually nobody sitting round pool because of this. Also there was someone in the room above us who walked about the room continually, very heavy footed and spat plegmn over the balcony. The couple next door to them complained about the noise and where moved. We did not want to be moved, it should not be us to be inconvenienced.

Would score 4.5 out of 5 if posdible. Stayed at the hotel 4 years running on golf holidays and can't fault the standard of room, reception and dining areas and especially the staff.
Well located within walking distance of the centre and marina.

Front desk: receptionists treated us with hospitality.
Room: very comfortable beds; everything was spotless. Attentive offer of water, coffee and tea.
Breakfast: lots of variety and very well organized by the staff.

O serviço de recepção, quartos, pequeno almoço, room service, é excelente, a limpeza da infra-estrutura, manutenção de jardins, parque das crianças e mesmo piscinas e muito bom, parque de estacionamento impecável, serviço de bagagens ótimo, o único apontamento que pela primeira vez registamos após várias estadias no hotel foi no bar pela manhã falta de noção de um funcionário quando questionado se podia servir um café respondeu não vê que estou a preparar as coisas ainda, não fica bem uma resposta destas a um hóspede, muito menos a um Cliente habitual como nós somos. No geral gostamos imenso e vamos repetir e o espaço que mais gostamos no Algarve.

Would stay here again. Was out of season so was quiet but I would say it's the best time to go. Fantastic hotel, pool area is great and leads out onto the beach.

A lovely 5 star hotel at a reasonable price. The reception area was amazing with gorgeous arches. We loved the various lamps in reception and in our rooms, very unusual. The breakfasts were excellent with every sort of food imaginable (no orange juice, though). The only downside for us was that we couldn't use the inside pool, jacuzzi area for a quick swim unless we paid for a €11 day pass. We only had 4 nights there so we didn't want a whole day pass. It would just have been lovely to relax in the pool area after a busy day sightseeing. A great hotel.

My wie and I have stayed here before and what a contrast this time was.
Our suite room1028 was a nest bed for mosquitos Between us we were bitten over 20 times
MY wife was so badly bitten around the eye that I asked reception to call a doctor and he felt it incumbent upon himself to give her a cortisone injection.
Theroom was sprayed-to no effect -we still were bitten at night in bed
Idecided to bring our problem to the attention of the manager but he did not make himself available(in a meeting) and instead ayoung lady appeared.
A more disinterested person would be hard to find She was not at all sympathetic gave a lot of nonsense about the swamp and flatly deniedthat the mosquitos were already in occupation
Someone should tell her mere cleaning does not kill mosquitos

Crown Plaza in the Algarve is such a great location and wonderful relaxing atmosphere. Great service and wonderful food.
The food manager Andre is really friendly and accommodating and Chef Alan makes really wonderful vegetarian dishes for us.

Foi cobrado o valor de 22€ por 2possoas ate ai ok mas o serviço estava em manutenção e a pescina interior com agua a 19graus ninguem utilizou enquanto nos edtivemos la dentro .
O banho turco estava fichado em obras mas magamos o valor de 11€ por pessoa para utilizar 2 espaços acho que podia ter havido outra atitude da vossa parte.
Quanto ao bufe fomos obrigados a ir jantar fora do hotel na 2 noite quando nao era essa a nossa intenção.
No dia da chegada fomos jantar ao hotel e com bufe de entradas e sobremesas bastante pobre para um hotel de 5estrelas .
Os pratos bacalhau à braz com bastante cebola e crua muita gente reclamou por isso nem vou comentar esse tipo de prato em um hotel como o vosso

First impression was hotel was clean spacious easy to find ample parking and staff were friendly. The room was good lunch was excellent. My son went for a swim indoor pool spa late afternoon we were charged 11 Euro for this which you would of thought it would of been included in nightly price but any way it is what it is. Upon checking out I noticed I was charged another 11 Euro for spa use again when I questioned this I was told it was correct because my son went for another swim on check out day. I said we stayed one night but was charged 2 days use of spa? It then got rather messy and reception manager insisted in getting into an argument about hotel policies? I phoned IHG who agreed with me that to be charged twice in a 24 hour period was unfair but then they called me back to apologise and said it was hotel policy it’s not the money but the principle? One night stay no matter how many times you say it , it’s still one night stay not 2!

The pool area is very nice. The lobby and restaurants are clinical without any ambience or warmth . Not a place I would want to relax . Closeness to the beach is excellent and overall good location. The break fast was good . Cleanliness was good

Fantastic hotel nearly scored a 10 But two minor things it didn’t The bacon was like it was in the 70s It was out of season and I just wanted to use the indoor pool but you had to pay for the spa to use it and at 11 euros a day when you are a guest I thought was too expensive and why is the microwave near the pool tables and not in the restaurant I wish someone from the hotel could tell me but these where small things the hotel is brilliant.

É um hotel "normal" de 5* onde dificilmente se fica mal instalado. Uma opção sólida mas sem atingir o superluxo que já começa a ser frequente encontrar nem o ultramoderno (a arquitetura e a decoração da entrada são sóbrias e a fazer lembrar tema árabe simples). A localização não tem igual para quem gosta de praia com acesso praticamente direto. Os quartos mais caros tem vista direta e total para o mar, os superiores ou os deluxe tem vista lateral (para Quarteira ou para Vilamoura) que não deixa de ser muito agradável do 6 andar para cima. O pequeno almoço é agradável com variedade mas não excelente merecendo uma crítica para o barulho da arrumação de pratos e talheres que é feita no local pelos empregados nas horas de maior afluência.

Très bel hôtel . Bien situé sur une belle et immense plage et à quelques minutes à pieds du joli poet de Vilamoura et de la ville animée de Quarteira . Belles chambres spacieuses et confortables . Grandes piscines extérieures , beau spa mais accès payant . Excellent petit déjeuner de dîner raffiné . Grande propreté . Dommage que chaque prestation soit payante (Ping Ping, tennis , accès au spa ...)

All the staff were courteous and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was excellent - a wide selection in buffet style breakfast and dinner with lunch in the seafront restaurant which was enjoyable. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy. The view from the balcony was pleasant and the bed was comfortable. When I arrived there were twin beds in the room and I rang down to reception who arranged for the beds to be joined together into one large double bed.

Seul petite déception : la boutique souvenir fermé le jour de mon départ (19 décembre à 10h) j'avais un coup de cœur pour une crèche aimantée vraiment jolie mais je n'ai pas pu l'acheter. Cependant la boutique est indépendante de l'hôtel il me semble.

Stayed here three nights, absolutely no negativity towards my time here. Our bath plug was a bit faulty but the technician arrived very promptly and resolved the issue in no time. Had a pool and a spa, 11€ entry fee per person per day.

Hemos viajado desde España a Portugal para tener unos días de escapada. Nos ha gustado mucho, tanto el hotel como el personal del mismo, un trato exquisito. Buena ubicación y accesos fácil para llegar si no conoces la zona. Por otro lado Villamoura y su entorno es un sitio al que gusta ir.

Bon rapport qualité prix pour cet hôte proche de la marina villamoura. Le petit déjeuner est de qualité et très bien fourni.
Néanmoins le spa pourrait être libre d accès pour les clients de l’hôtel. Dans tous les HOTEL avec piscine celle ci est gratuite. Ici c est 11€ si vous êtes 2 ça double et si vous êtes là 6 jours je vous laisse faire le calcul ,,,

Many complaints, this is not a 5 star property:
. Very very old towes, robes, etc
. Bed linen was small for the bed size!!! Had a terrible night sleep
. Spa area is outsourced, you have to pay to enter, and is working only between 10h and 18h, kids allowed only between 11 and 15h. As this is the only heated pool, if you don't go there there is nothing else to do in december at this hotel.
. Kids room also closed at 18h as it is outsourced! What a cheap and not 5 star business model!
. Breakfast area was like a cafeteria, most itens were of low quality, obviously not 5 star material.
. Service at front desk not very helpful, otherwise ok.
Overall I recomend you spend some extra bucks and go to a better property, like Conrad, Epic Sana, Pine Cliffs, Vila Vita and so on.

We had a great stay at the Crowne Plaza; it was in a good location near the Marina but also near some local restaurants and just a short walk to Quarteira. The rooms were lovely, although we could have done with another chair on the balcony, larger bath towels and a mirror in the bedroom. The breakfast buffet was fantastic! Well stocked constantly by the busy staff, loads of space to sit both inside and out, cava served everyday and freshly cooked hot food, including omelettes, crispy bacon, poached and fried eggs, hash browns, tomatoes, mushrooms, beans, sausages and pancakes. The selection of breads and sweet things was also very varied with croissants, several types of bread and rolls including gluten free, pastries, cakes, brioche, jams, syrups, spreads and fruit and yoghurt. Cereals, nuts, seeds, granola, muesli, teas, coffees and juices completed the offerings.The pool was chilly, it was November, but we braved it on the warm days of which we had 7 out of 9. Plenty of comfortable sun beds and towels provided at reception. The beach was just through a gate from the hotel although we didn’t venture into the sea! There was some development taking place on the promenade but his did not spoil our holiday.

El trato del personal a la llegada fue agradable, recepcionistas simpáticos y siempre que contacté con ellos, estaban de buen humor y sonriendo. El ambiente en general era agradable, animaba a estar siempre en el hotel. En la Ena, los empleados nos ayudaron a elegir, con gran profesionalidad, entre el Buffet o carta. Los desayunos completos, no faltaba nada y todo de calidad. No puedo olvidarme del detalle que tuvo el hotel conmigo ya fue mi cumpleaños y me sorprendieron con una tarta y botella de champán para celebrarlo. Gracias por todo . My wife and I enjoyed our 6 night stay in this hotel although we did have some issues with noise above our room. My preferences were not entirely met as the room assigned was on the the 8th Floor of an 11 Floor Hotel. Also I was allocated a room close to the lifts. I was informed that I had an upgraded room but on looking at my booking on the IHG website I booked a deluxe room with a sea view and I did get a deluxe room with a side sea view.
Also the only one chair with a small table on a large balcony which I was told was standard to all rooms with exception of south facing rooms.
The chair in the room was very low and most uncomfortable. But the beds were large and comfortable with a well appointed bathroom.
The staff fronting (Reception,Concierge and at Breakfast) this hotel were very efficient, pleasant and friendly with lots of smiles and good eye contact.
I feel that this hotel is somewhat dated in relation to the rooms but the reception areas on the ground floor being tastefully decorated, open and spacious.
Disappointed that the hotel manager did not contact me during my stay to discuss the issues I brought to the attention of IHG guest relations.

Schönes gepflegtes sauberes Hotel, wunderbares Frühstück mit furchtbaren Kaffee (hätten mich die Kinder nicht jeden morgen zu dieser frühen Uhrzeit geweckt, würde ich am liebsten erst Mittag zur Gin Tonic Zeit aufstehen, denn mit diesen Kaffee konnte MEIN Tag definitiv nicht gut starten). Was, natürlich, ausschließlich Geschmacksache ist.
Ansonsten genoß ich den Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen!

Spotlessly clean, quiet (end of October) hotel. Excellent staff and room service- very efficient. Toiletries topped up every day(love the orange scent) and 2 small bottles water each day. Excellent choices at breakfast. Good spacious superior double room. Small let downs........one chair on balcony, no mirror in room(only in bathroom, as was hairdryer). Nespresso machine in room but only capsules on first day - €2 per capsule thereafter(I buy them for 35p each from Nespresso!!) Tea/coffee not topped up either so had to buy from shops. Full glass bathroom which initially seems quite cool........until.......! with option to close electronically, if you could work out which switch actually operated the blind lol! All in all though great hotel, great location would probably stay again if in Vilamoura

Le seul point à améliorer serait le tarif des boissons vendues au restaurant. 3,50 € une bouteille de 75 cL d'eau me semble excessif (même constations pour les vins). Les clients consommeraient davantage si les prix étaient revus à la baisse.

Livro de Reclamações ! Complaint Book !
Reserva efetuada via Booking para 2 adultos + 2 crianças, chegada ao hotel e dizem que quarto não acomoda 4 pessoas, tentando EXTORQUIR o dobro do preço por uma suíte. VERGONHOSO tratamento no check-in, sem qualquer atenção pelo cliente, que ainda por cima é Rewards Club IHG. Nunca mais !

Just spent a week with my wife at this hotel.
Staff all very helpful and friendly,nothing to much trouble for them.
Good location close to beach and short stroll to villamoura marina.
Wonderfull pool with sun beds provided all around,would highly recommend this hotel and we will return to it soon

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and much the same as last time i stayed. Nice and very pleasant staff throughout the hotel.
The hotel itself is a little dated and could do with a bit of a refurb. I used the gym each morning but found several of the treadmills not working.
All in all though, a good hotel and I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to stay here.

Delighted to be able to spend another holiday at the crowns plaza, the location of hotel is fabulous walking distance from marina and Quarteira surrounding areas very pleasant to stroll around, the hotel
In itself is spectacular from the minute you enter the cool lobby the ambiance is beautiful the staff are ever so helpful and happy and very well presented, the pool
Is amazing great area to just chill and unwind, the bedroom standards are great and are kept very clean by the housekeeping staff, the bedrooms are so comfortable with a lovely big balcony offering gorgeous views, I used the spa facility for the first time and was impressed by the clam relaxing atmosphere in it and enjoyed the use of the jacuzzi, I was impressed by my birthday gesture from hotel also nice cake and bubbly very much appreciated, breakfast lunch and room service again never disappointed.......cocktails were delicious also I would highly recommend and did so to family who visited for the first time this year and loved it

A lovely hotel that we frequently visit .
The staff are always helpful .
Breakfast and dinner is buffet style and of good quality.
The room and bathroom was fine and cleaned daily ,we also had a side sea view .
Internet service was ok .
Swimming outside in October was a little cold but we enjoyed the sunshine by the pool and the pool bar .
The beach and sea in front of the hotel is always clean (blue flag beach ) and there are a couple of beach restaurants to visit .
We had a pleasant stay and we can recommend the hotel .

Positives - Very friendly and efficient staff, rooms are clean and very comfortable, Breakfast is excellent.
Not so positive - It is very dark leading up to the hotel at night. A broken lamp on arrival was not fixed for two days after reporting twice, stated preferences (e.g. extra pillows) were not acted upon.
But overall the Positives far outweigh the less than positives.
Would definitely recommend.

The beds were comfortable, the food good, the staff very efficient. With the exception of the manager, who could have been a bit more understanding about the television experience! Having to pay for old films, and have no warning on the screen that you have to pay.we found unfair !

We have just returned from a lovely week spent at the Crown Plaza Vilamoura. This is a superb hotel with very friendly, professional and attentive staff who are a credit to the hotel. High standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout, the food both at breakfast and dinner is excellent with plenty of choice and variety. We upgraded to a Junior Suite which was beautiful with a stunning full sea view and large balcony, however, standard rooms are also very good. The beachfront location is very convenient for a stroll into the Marina or to Quarteira both only a ten minute walk. The pool area is excellent with plenty of sun beds, umbrellas and lovely pools. We would have enjoyed some entertainment in the evening but all in all a great holiday in a hotel we would recommend.

Absolutely fabulous hotel, with extremely helpful, friendly staff.
The buffet breakfast and evening meal exceeded my expectations. The choice was vast, and on 2 occasions during my stay the evening buffet was held outside. The dining room staff work so hard to ensure these events are a huge success.
The air conditioning worked very well, and the cool air could also be circulated by using the ceiling fan.
We had a couple of bathroom issues, -(the shower tray wasn’t emptying fully and there was a small leak in the shower ceiling), which we reported to the front desk. In a matter of a couple of minutes someone from maintenance arrived at our door and resolved the problem.
The location is perfect, in such close proximity to the beach and the marina is just a short stroll away.
I have stayed in other hotels in Vilamoura, however the Crowne Plaza is my absolute favourite!

We stayed at Crowne Plaza Vilamoura for a week. Location is perfect and was very relaxing. Always plenty of sunbeds. Room was spacious and had ample drawers and hanging space. Only thing that would make this hotel perfect would be to have a mirror outside of the bathroom as there is none in the bedroom. Otherwise could not fault.

Enjoyed our time in vilamoura. Hotel was very nice, sleep quality was excellent and internet speed in the room was excellent. Nice large pool area and location was great, a short walk from the marina.. only negatives were food. Cooked items for breakfast were pretty poor, sausages were inedible and prices for certain things by the pool a little crazy. €6 for a small portion of french fries is a little excessive. This put us off eating at the hotel. Drink prices were reasonable.

The staff are friendly and welcoming throughout the hotel. Great rooms and really spacious, we booked a duplex suite which has en-suite on both floors with lovely balcony area looking over the town and really comfy bed. Breakfast has lots of variety both inside and out on the terrace and the pool area is nice and spacious with lots of sun beds which was a real positive. Would certainly recommend a visit.

All staff were very helpful and friendly. A special thank you and mention to Mario on reception and Ruben at the kids club who were both extremely helpful, friendly and attentative. The room we stayed in was very spacious, very clean and the bed and pillows very comfortable. The breakfast is amazing the choice of food available is very wide. The new restaurant which offers fresh fish and fresh cut meats is out of this world. The main pool is big enough and there are plenty of sun lounges so you do not feel on top of each other in the peak season. In a great location to walk to the marina and the beach is just a stone throw away from the hotel.

Great rooms, pool and overall site. Service is mediocre, considering its 5-star rating. I have IHG top-tier status and after the 3rd day, I actually had to inquire about the normal welcome amenity. Offering no apology, the woman reluctantly handed me a free drink voucher, reminding me it was only for one person. Also, I had read that the breakfast buffet was only (!) 18€ pp for IHG members, but when asked about the price, I was told it was still the regular 25€. I've had considerably better service at HI Expresses.

Beau séjour ! Chambre très jolie, spacieuse et confortable (douche à l’italienne, joli petit balcon, lit confortable, jolie déco). Le personnel est très gentil et accueillant. La plage est à 2min et accessible depuis l’hôtel. La piscine est grande et accompagnée d’un petit bar. En revanche, machine à café dans la chambre : 4 capsules sont offertes à notre arrivée, mais si nous en voulons d’autres, il faut payer 2.- la capsule (trop cher!!!). L’hotel manque un peu, à mon goût, d’ambiance le soir (seul le buffet est parfois accompagné d’une animation, mais pas tout le temps). Cela arrive que les femmes de ménages entrent dans la chambre au risque de ne pas respecter l’intimité des clients. Pour terminer, les restaurants et buffets de l’hôtel ne payent pas de mine (la nourriture n’est pas mauvaise mais parfois fade, cela est un peu dommage pour un hôtel 5 étoiles).
Mais cela reste un très bon hôtel dans l’ensemble ! Très adapté aux familles et aussi aux enfants !
Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances !!!

The worst hotel I've ever been.
The Staff was horrible. They only wanted to earn lots of money. When I asked them for something they ignored me or answered unkindly. They didn't care about guests.
Food in this hotel was untasty and very expensive. They didn't apoligise for their mistakes. The room (which should have an Ocean view) was tiny and haven't got an Ocean view. I have to lean out the window to see the Ocean. I also have to pay extra money to use spa. The only ona advantage od this hotel were swimming pools with unheated cold water.
I though that this hotel is better. I will never come back to that hotel.

I used the Crowne Plaza Vilamoura with my family using the IHG Rewards points. We were upgraded to a deluxe room which was a very pleasant surprise. The room was amazing and had a bathroom with a glass partition from the room which overlooked the sea. The outdoor areas are really clean and set up well for children with an activity program, two pools and a large pirate climbing frame/jungle jim. The breakfast wasn't included and whilst I hear good things this would've cost approx £60 per day for three. A beer and Bacardi and Coke cost €15 euros which isn't unusual for this area given the amount of money there is around the marina. Overall a very nice hotel located very close to the marina where there's an abundance of dining options.

I recently stayed at Crowne Plaza Vilamoura, and it was excellent to the day the least. I stayed for 9 nights, and every single one of them was a delight. The kids were always entertained no matter what! Whether it was the Pool, the Beach access, Peter Pan Kids Club, Ping Pong at the spa, and the live football matches in the lounge. I was also entertained, and happy with adult facilities such as the Spa and Gym. The Breakfast was very delicious, but the options I were limited for the kids. Overall, this is a phenomenal hotel for a family vacation.

The hotel had a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Rooms and balcony were fantastic and great views of Vilamoura and the sea. The pool was amazing and the gardens beautiful. Most of all it was so easy to get a sunbed - available all day which makes a very welcome change. So close to the beach also. The Crowne Plaza was excellent and well located. I have stayed in many hotels in Vilamoura and this was the best.

I have stayed in IHG hotels round the world and this one is by far my favourite so far. It has the WOW factor. Great stay again, had a few days in peak season and they still had plenty of sun lounges. Breakfast as always was excellent plenty of choice staff friendly, drinks at lobby bar always perfect. Not much entertainment but when you have so much local you don’t mind. First time ever we ate at the hotel bbq night it was great food and value can’t believe we overlooked it for so many years. Pool waiting on staff seemed always around so plenty of opportunity to order a cold drink and food. We’ve stayed both sides of the hotel over the years with the Vilamoura view being more expensive in all honesty it’s no better if anything its quieter in comparison. As always great hotel

From start to finish of our holiday the staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotless and clean and the bedrooms spacious and welcoming, with lovely sized bathrooms. The beds are so comfy and the pillows are like clouds. The pool area is beautiful with plenty of sunbeds and we had no problem getting a sunbed no matter what time of day. You can choose a sunbed next to the pool or on the grassed garden area which is well maintained and you can look out to sea from the garden area. This was our third stay at the hotel as we find it so relaxing and we will return again. I would definitely recommend this hotel without question.

The hotel rooms are modern, spacious and well equipped. The pool area is fantastic with direct access to the beach. Check in staff were great however only slight negative, I asked for a rollaway bed ahead of the stay and it never arrived. Minor point didn’t at all spoil holiday but worth noting if you 100% require one. Free car parking and only 5 min stroll to marina.

This hotel does not want you to book rooms for four with points and it’s slightly deceiving as I typically just book the beds I need not number of people. I arrived and they told me I misrepresented my party by not including my children on the reservation. The concierge forced us to pay extra on top of the points for a suite with one bed and one sofa. So I consumed all of my points for what I assumed would be a free stay and ended up with a pretty nice bill.
The beds and sofa were extremely firm. I’m American so I’m not sure if this is a European thing. It was difficult to sleep on the sofa and main mattress.
The hotel food is horrible. Restaurants in close proximity are much better and significantly cheaper.
The accommodations are still well kept. The location near Vilamoura is great. I would say this is a 5 star location but a 3 star hotel.

Best feature of this hotel is the helpful friendly staff - always keen to help and meet any needs. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Excellent range of choices in the restaurant at breakfast, slightly less so at dinner. One minor criticism would be that the food overall could have been hotter.
Overall excellent stay - wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

Have stayed at this hotel many times and so this time booked a points stay for me and the wife and an extra room for the teenagers.
This hotel occupies a great location close to the Beach and the Marina and ticks every box - great rooms, excellent pool and beds, first class service by all the staff and lovely ambiance in the bar areas.
Would not hesitate to stay here again, totally relaxing and something for all age groups.

The hotel has a lot to offer with great facilities, however we found some of the staff not customer focused and more interested in themselves rather than on the customers which spoilt our stay.

This hotel is a 5 star! Everything is so well done and the staff is the best! If you walk out of the hotel to the beach walkway and turn left there is a little town down 5 minutes with true Portuguese restaurants. You will

Wonderful location, great room (although the the glass walled toilet could be described as 'different'), nice staff and good food. A lovely pool and garden area but the sun beds are of poor quality and lots and lots are broken. The hotel believes everyone needs to be entertained ALL of the time so piped music is everywhere, all day, every day and the evening entertainment leaves a lot to,be desired. One 'singer' was so bad and SO loud (absolutely nowhere in the hotel's public areas to get away from the noise or hold a conversation) that the majority of guests left the hotel and went to local bars etc. Management really need to step up and solve the issue of where guests can relax in the evening without being bombarded by their choice of 'entertainment'. Nett result at present is that the local bars do a good trade.

Relativamente à minha experiência com o staff do Hotel , principalmente para os que estão a atender ao almoço no restaurante não têm qualquer tipo de educação nem se estão a preocupar sequer com o cliente e nem estão preocupados que o cliente fique satisfeito .

We had a fabulous stay at the Crowne Plaza Vilamoura, wish it was longer. Would definitely stay there again.

Really enjoyed our stay at Crowne Plaza. Great breakfast and very helpful and friendly staff. Would recommend this hotel for a nice quiet break. Location was great and access to beach fantastic.

3rd time at this hotel , will probably go back but not sure when . Some parts of the hotel need updated. Carpets need cleaned

Always stop here as compared to the Tivoli the atmosphere is far more relaxed and in some cases a little less daunting. Location amazing and the staff are always excellent. Facilities are good although I think the development of a beach bar/ restaurant a little more in line with the Tivoli and Purabeach would only add to the experience. So move the great vibe of the Plaza to the beach

Fantastic hotel for a group of golfers
Only issue was the lunch service, very slow and forgot my order.
