My husband and I had the best night wine tasting in Francisco’s intimate restaurant where he cooked us amazing traditional Portuguese food to match the wines. We learn’t a lot about Portuguese wines as he is very knowledgeable but the best part, we met a great guy that made our trip to Portugal very memorable. Natural is the adjective I would use, nothing is forced, from the wine to the conversation, it all flows easily. My girlfriend and I went for a dinner and wine pairing session at Venha Vinho last night and had a fantastic time. We would thoroughly recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon. Francisco made us feel so welcome in a homely setting. He is a very generous and personable host - really knowledgeable about wine and a great conversationist. We learned a lot about wine, how to match with food and a great deal about Portuguese history and culture. The food was delicious and the pairings were spot on. An amazing evening!

I took a 1 day tour with Francisco on June 3rd and it was an amazing experience. Francisco is very kind hearted and he really knows his stuff. He made for great company over the course of the day as we toured 3 vineyards across Setubal and Alentejo. I called up 2 nights before after learning that I would have a free day after my business was concluded in Lisbon, and Francisco noted that Friday he could indeed accommodate me and even pick me up at the hotel. It was a great day all around and I think that the value for money was right on target. I would definitely recommend the tour and if I end up back in Lisbon I would love to be a part of another wine tour with Venha Vinho!
