Had a fantastic week at Cerro Mar Garden hotel. Room was good with a brilliant view, staff were fantastic with our two young boys and they loved the pool.
We would certainly be interested in returning to same hotel, and albufeira is brilliant too!

Surly poorly trained staff create an unpleasant experience in a lousy location. The only thing in walking distance is the parking lot. The restaurant is abysmal. A lukewarm buffet and inattentive drink service are complemented by a tone deaf harelip singing karoake.
Someone should tell these people that two-bedroom does not mean one bedroom with a mattress on the floor of the living room. 77 Euros a night seems a little steep for a mattress on the floor.
Albufeira is a lovely little place, but avoid Cerro Mar Garden. Pretentious dumps are a dime a dozen.

Absolutely fantastic stay, from start to finish. Clean room well equipped with a kitchenette. Staff are friendly and easy to talk to. Swimming pool area kept clean at all times.

If your into mountain climbing this is the place for you, not good for the infirm or people with buggies. You could be staying in a separate apartment block. Crazy design.

Excellent apartment cleaned daily in a beautiful location, short walk to the beach and the apartment block has fantastic pools, friendly and helpful staff. There is also an Aldi and Lidls nearby for food shopping.

My stay at the cerro Mar Garden was amazing. They are very welcoming start to finish. They are always happy and up for a laugh and chat. They are reasonably priced and their food is delicious. The best part about my stay was the very caring staff. One of which is names Tania and if you ever get to meet her you will agree with me. She always has a smile on her face even when shes tired or in a bad mood. She also knows how to put a smile on your face when you are sad. The view from the rooms is incredible its right across the sea. I visited at the end of May and the weather was incredible. Started at around 28 degrees and by the end of the week it got to 35 degrees.

My family and I stayed here for our family vacation. There were some initial hiccups but the staff turned it around a full 360 and I would highly recommend. The trek down the steps to the town was welcomed as it was good after the great buffet. Well done especially to the dining room staff !!

2nd day into our 7 night stay, its amazing!super friendly staff. Fantastic holiday atmosphere, so relaxing. Swimming pool clean, with a well stocked bar near to poolside. Breakfast is fantastic with a range of traditional English and continental, but very good quality. Have not yet eaten in the on site restraunte so can not comment. Rooms are well equipped and spacious with a kitchenette. So far so good!!!!!!!

Only criticism off this place is location on top of hill and the steep steps to get to and from town/beach. The apartment themselves are large and spacious with great large balconys. Best self catering apartment we've been in.

The buffet was OK :/
Note the following: You need a swimming cap for the indoor pool people or you are asked to get out. Why? Don’t know (no explanation given) and neither does my daughter who works in a 4 star spa in the UK without such a rule.
The WiFi set up is absolute pants...seriously. We paid €25 for a week of WiFi and the login is antiquated. You have to re-login after 5mins...and I mean from scratch with a 8 digit pin! Frustration or what! Then it might not accept you because you might have used too much data...how much data is allowed I asked? Answer: we don’t know it depends how much you use. That’s the same as saying “how long is a piece of string?”. My experience was simply hit and miss ...worked or didn’t if it felt like it.
Apart from that it’s a great location and the apartments are good. If you make sure you have data on your phone you’ll have no worries because 4G does work.

Excellent sea views, superb food, the only disappointment was the prices of the drinks. Coke zero €3.20? When everywhere else is €1.50. No tap water, had to buy a bottle for €1.80. Other than that, if you want fantastic seafood, had the swordfish, you could get worse.

Excellent apartment everything you need for cooking. Washing machine dish washer oven and hob toaster kettle coffee maker hairdryer etc. No microwave but didnt need it. Aldi only 10 mims walk. Only fault we had was there is nothing around the area but old town only a few mins walk down 107 steps. Get a taxi back if you are unfit. I will give 4 star for apartment but 2 star for location.

We stayed in a self catering block located just above the main hotel and were totally surprised by it's size. You can use the hotel facilities and housekeeping visit each day
The hotel is only 5 mins walk from the centre of the old town but it is reached via a steep hill & set of steps. That said the hotel operates a bus service through the day. Highly recommended, we'll be back!

Our experience in the this hotel was superb location wise close to all amenities restaurants bars & beach.. the hotel was beautiful clean & the staff were so lovely from the lady cleaning our room to from desk & all in between, the pool area was lovely clean & had apple space the views of the sea were breathtaking, we will definitely be back❤️

Sehr schönes, nicht ganz neues Hotel, mit dem Vorteil,ganz nah an den Algarven zu liegen und einen eigenen Zugang zum Strand zu haben.
Der Strand ist phantastisch, mit all seinen Felsformationen und dem märchenhaft sauberen Sandstrand mit Möglichkeit zum Segeln, Surfen und vielem mehr

We hebben een heerlijke Moment for Two relax massage ondergaan. Fantastisch.
Yesterday we went tot the Sunshine Spa again for a whole body massage. Again we had a wondefull experience. We want to take the lovely Sunshine girls with us.

Some of the staff were friendly, others thought they were doing us a favor by speaking with us. Rooms were clean but doors didn't lock.

We stayed two and a half weeks self catering. The apartment was quite spacious and cleaned daily. The kitchen area was quite well equipped, with the only important omission being the lack of a microwave oven.
The other little niggle was the old 4:3 TV, which had no HDMI, so we had to watch Netflix stuff on our laptop.
The indoor pool, spa and gym area were very welcome. Along with the good, reasonably priced restaurant and very friendly staff, this made for a great holiday.
We will come back next January for four weeks.

WiFi here in the lobby sucks.....big time. You could probably get better, but you have to pay for it. Rooms are clean and some staff are friendly.

Great place. Visited off-peak season. Not too crowded. Walk to beach is via a hundred step stair case. After a few visits to the beach you get used to it.

Used indoor pool. Perfect for me and my toddler. Not the newest place but was clean enough. You need to bring swimming caps or you will be charged for there's. But in January the pool was heated to 29/30 degrees and is 1.3 metres deep all around

Appartement très bien équipé, très propre et spacieux. Très bon accueil à la réception. Piscine intérieure chauffée et salle de musculation en accès libre. Piscines extérieures superbes mais l'eau est trop froide début janvier.

Appartement très agréable de par sa superbe vue sur la mer dans le CERRO GARDEN avec une grande terrasse meublée d'une petite table et de 2 chaises (nous étions 3 avec notre petite-fille de 6 ans, il y en avait au sous-sol puisque nous pouvions les voir car nous avions loué un emplacement au garage mais elle n'est jamais arrivée...) - belle surface pour un T2 - manque petite casserole pour chauffer un peu de liquide (ils n'ont pas...) lave-vaisselle, lave-linge, plaque à induction mais pas de micro-ondes ! ménage fait tous les jours, très propre - restaurant plutôt réservé aux britanniques mais copieux et très bon - excellent accueil à la réception du restaurant par un jeune homme
les - : insonorisation inexistante aussi bien avec les appartements de chaque côté que celui juste au-dessus (on nous a proposé de changé d'appartement ??? quand ce sont les autres qui font tant de bruit !!!)
piscine intérieure presque irrespirable tant l'odeur de chlore est désagréable et la masseuse, bien que n'exerçant pas de surveillance de la baignade, vient rappeler à l'ordre les enfants qui sautent dans la piscine pour y entrer (sinon 2 petites échelles) et le port OBLIGATOIRE du bonnet de bain ; par contre les bermudas sont autorisés pour les hommes ainsi que le burkini qui fait même pantalon !
Pratiquement aucun français, nous avons séjourné pour les vacances de la Toussaint du 23 au 31 Octobre 2018
Les fameuses 104 marches, ma petite-fille les comptait à chaque fois, ce qui l'amusait beaucoup et les lui faisait oublier :-) nous amène en plein centre ville et elles sont entrecoupées de courtes plate-formes, donc pas de souci pour les utiliser.
Centre ville animé, très agréable et joyeux avec beaucoup de musiciens
J'allais oublier l'épicerie : rien ! presque vide! nous sommes arrivés à 15 h donc petit déjeuner obligatoire au restaurant de l'hôtel pour profiter de la piscine extérieure (temps superbe !)
Autre dernier "détail", quoique très important, nous étions appartement 315 et le couloir y menant était "réfrigérant" quand nous rentrions le soir après dîner au centre ville en tenue estivale puisque la température extérieure s'y prêtait (22/25°)

Zeer goed hotel. Appartementen ook fijn en ruim. Grote trap naar het centrum. Je moet goed ter been zijn. Geen last van geluidsoverlast.
Erg harde bedden!
Super zwembad. In oktober wel te koud om te zwemmen. Maar heerijk om te zonnen op het dakterras. Elke dag schone handdoeken en schoonmaak. Vriendeijk personeel
Dit hotel is zeker een aanrader.

Cerca del centro pero quitado de todo bullicio. Eso sí, hay que tener en cuenta la subida de escalones a la vuelta. Aunque a mí me vino muy bien para quemar todo lo comido en las visitas al centro.

Wifi slecht. Jammer dat er groepen Engelsen , het type zuipschuit
hier toegelaten worden. Daar zijn er al genoeg van op het uitgaans plein beneden . Zeer ergerlijk
De trappen richting strand is een dingetje. Voor slechte benen niet te doen. Taxi. Maar gezellig zwembad met terras aanwezig.
Personeel zeer vriendelijk. Spreken Engels en proberen beetje Nederlands

Apartments were spacious but for a family of three someone has to sleep in a sofa bed and the sofa was quite dirty and worn out. A bit old fashioned and you have to pay for wifi. Hardly any staff on site.

Fuimos a hacer una despedida de soltera y acabamos altamente emocionadas con la habitación que nos dieron, el balcón rodeaba casi todas las habitaciones y pudimos estar en la terraza tomando el sol en las tumbonas.
Las vistas desde la última planta del hotel es impresionante.

It's ok, pool and room are nice. However if you want to use the iron, you are able to lend it for 2 hours at a time. You are able to use facilities in the sister hotels.
Unfortunately this hotel is not good for people who have physical health issues, as the hotel is on 'cardiac hill' the hotel is 92 steps down to the old town. Lidl and aldi are not too far niether. Staff are nice and rooms were cleaned every day.
Also shower temperature likes to fluctuate between temperature.
Worth giving it a try :)

Been here twice on my way back for third time top class hotel every visit hope it will be same in August will let ye know after next visit, ok so here goes guys my August visit to Cerro mar goes like this,do not I repeat not fall for paying €25 for the WIFI per phone I pad ect it Does not work,!!!!a few cranky staff working at pool bar, quiet rude sometimes,the restaurant a la cart menu has good choice but food is basic, again some staff here are also rude bar the manager who I asked to take my so called chilli con carne away with zero chillis my 2 daughter's had to wait 20 mins for chips while their main course was on the table lots of confusion in the restaurant so not a pleasant experience, very disappointed,now on the other hand the hotel itself and reception staff,and spa staff and lady working bar upstairs at night,are 5 star quality, the cleanliness was fantastic, our apt was cleaned every day and clean towels also,I would recommend here for a relaxing holiday, it's a beautiful hotel,just maybe hold a staff meeting on how to greet and smile at customer,(in hotel areas I mentioned above,.very comfortable beds ,very specious 2 bed apartment we had,2 balcony,1 huge looking over pool and hotel,it's without a doubt 5 star accommodation, you have everything you need in kitchen except a microwave,I do love this place,even with some cranky staff around,and I would say turn blind eye to the crank,s and deffinatley visit here guys ,

Esta dividido en varios edificios. Esta cerca del centro pero tienes que ir por una cuesta con escalones muy inclinada. Es limpio y acogedor. Tiene una piscina interior y dos exteriores.

O lugar é bonito, amplo e organizado, no entanto fica no alto de uma ladeira e é um pouquinho afastado do centrinho. Para portadores de necessidades especiais e idosos é um pouco complicado para se locomover até o centrinho.

We stayed here as a family of 4 in a one bed apartment for 10nights in July and have stayed about 5 years ago also. Location is second to none despite the steps. Very clean and comfortable beds with air con. It is very quite for families. Facilities were good with a bar/restaurant in each building. Pool and pool area were clean but people do get up early to reserve the loungers! Breakfast was only OK and gets very busy after 9am. There is little help from staff if you need something that is not in buffet. Overall staff friendless could be hugely improved apart from the lovely man who drives the complementary bus into town centre daily. The other staff could learn a lot from him. We attended the roof top BBQ on one night and is was a massive disappointment very expensive for food on offer and any drink at bar is an extra! There is no free guest Wi-Fi outside of main reception and this is not acceptable in this day and age. There is no kids entertainment or interaction here and kids pools are very small. There is a small shop for all general needs but hugely overpriced and there is a lidi only 10min walk away which is a huge positive. Would recommend a day at Slide and Splash get there early (before 10am) and go straight for the big rides as the Q gets very long. I would recommend a good swimming Tshirst as standing in Q can get very hot (they don't allow normal t-shirts or jewellery on slides for H&S reasons).

Heerlijke vakantie. Mooie accommodatie. 3 star rating, to many noisey stag parties. Stags taking over the pool area during the day. A lot of bad language been used in front of children. Very good staff at reception, bar and house cleaning. Very mannerly people indeed. Yer star player is the lady that runs the up stairs bar by night. Very bubbly and a great personality. Over all we enjoyed our stay.

Good points. Clean, close to the old town via steep steps.Bad points..No free WIFI in the rooms, €6 a day not worth it.. Furnishings need updating. Sofa very uncomfortable, cushions tatty and warn I was pleased I didn’t have to sleep on it. No microwave, however kitchen well stocked. Cutlery really cheap with a lot of the forks bent. Tv is the size of a postage stamp, not great if you want children distracted. Reception staff pleasant, there to do a job.

Nous avions un appartement su 4 ieme ėtage avdc vue sur mer. Tres agrėable, éclairé et tres propre. Pres de tout pour visiter a pied. Cuisine bien équipée. Plus désagréable était le port obligatoire du casque de bain à la piscine. On a du l'acheter å 5 euros chaque. Pas de wifi gratuit dans la chambre ... seulement au lobby. Sinon tout était parfait.

We loved our stay at Cerro Mar and the staff were lovely. Very close to the old town, not even 10min walk and very close to Aldi. But will definitely need a car if u want to see more around Albufeira. The minus is there is no free Wifi.

Great location , clean and so much to do within walking distance . Staff friendly and very helpful . The only negative would be the many stairs and uneven surfaces which might be a challenge for some . However there are shuttle options available .We just saw it as exercise in a picturesque scenery.Will be back .

Passei 5 noites do fim.do ano de 2019 para 2020.
Fiquei no aparthotel muito bom e espaçoso.
Tinha também um bom equipamento na cozinha , mas faltava o essencial : um micro ondas.
Outra falha que considero inadmissível é não fornecerem ao cliente wifi...
De resto nada a dizer.

Stopped in Albufeira for 3 nights over New Year. The Cerro is in a great location up some steps from the Old Town square. There is a transfer service available for those less able but we were happy to walk up / down for a bit of exercise.First impression was that the aparment was huge, two big bedroom, two bathrooms, separate kitchen and living room. Plenty of pools in the various buildings and a very reasonably priced bar and restaurant.The showers could have done with a better clean but the biggest issue over the stay was the firmness of the beds and shortage of pillows (3 for double bed). Apart from that brilliant, close enough for all that Albufeira has to offer in the much nicer Old Town, but far enough away not to be bothered by any noise.

Buen hotel, solo desear alguna conexión techada entre el hotel principal y el resto de los apartamentos anexos al mismo, ya que si llueve, no puedes acceder al mismo y a sus servicios.

Great location very close to old town by going down 98 steps, or get taxi if have mobility problems. Very family hotel wuth lovely staff n our appartment was big with big balcony. This is our second stay here and will return next year.

Be prepared for some steps. For me, however, I didnt mind at all, in fact due to this it made the hotel an ideal location. First is the lovely view from the balcony overlooking the Old Town and Atlantic, secondly its only a short 5-10 minute walk into the Old Town and third because its located at the top of the hill the noise from the bars doesnt effect you. Less than 10 minutes walk away are Lidl and Aldi.The Apartment itself was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Kitchen was well equipped with oven, hob and plenty of utensils. Our balcony (room 503) was more like a huge terrace, at least 40ft (twice the size of the actual apartment), but this depends on which floor. Other balconies looked a very decent size too. Overall great value for money in an excellent location.

Everything. The rooms were big and spacious with everything you might need for self-catering eg dishwasher, fridge-freezer, washing machine etc. etc...The maid and reception services were very good and efficicient. There was a very good restaurant and bar at the hotel should you feel like not having to cook meals but otherwise close by were Aldi and Lidl supermarkets where supplies could be sourced cheaply. It was arguably the best hotel we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in a lot over the years.

We booked two rooms. One was great but still not like the Picture we had seen on line. There is several buildings here and if you are lucky you stay in the main building with beautiful facilities if your not you stay in a far off building with a crappy no view -noisy near the main door so hear all exits and entrances of people Staff are less then friendly Albufeira itself is fantastic!

la informacion sobre el wifi es engañosa. Indica que existe en cada apartamento, pero no indica que es de pago.No hacen respectar la norma de que no se pueden reservar las hamacas en la piscina. Durante un día estuvieron colocadas las toallas durante toda la noche, y lo normal es que las colocan a las 7,30 sin que aparezca hasta al menos 9,30. El personal no toma ninguna medida.Esta prohibida la entrada de perros en la piscina, pero por la misma purula a sus anchas un gato

Stayed from 25th August - Lovely apartments, ideal for families. Apartments were fully equipped with crockery ,cutlery , toaster, coffee machine , washing machine and dishwasher , ( no microwave) Room was cleaned everyday and towels changed. Toaster stopped working, a replacement was sent to our room within 10min . Reception staff were alwayd helpful answered any questions. Very near to the old town (80-100steps) We didnt stuggle finding a sunbeds on pool days .We would definitely return

Our trip was great, it was close enough to the Fisherr beach whe we could just walk there. Water at he beach was cold so having a pool was a plus. The only issue was no WiFi in the room so we had to walk to the lobby to use it, other than that we enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back again!

This should be a full five stars but I had to take a star off for the following reasons ;
Not enough sun beds,
On site pool bar wasn’t value for money,
Too much unused space.
There are a lot of spaces for activities that are not used, no music or entertainment anytime.
Other than this, the rooms were well equipped and clean. The staff were very friendly.

Nice location, away from the noise. The climb is worth it. Rooms are nice and clean. Staff is nice. Lunch food is ok-ish. Breakfast is nice, not exceptional. Pool beds are always occupied although its not allowed. Rooms are noisy, ear buds are recommended.

Love it here. Had a really good time but someone should tell stag groups to calm down a bit around the pool. Thankfully they were only there for 2 days during our stay. Had a lovely view towards the ocean from our room which was a lovely size and very clean. Staff friendly and helpful.

Good facilities, 5 pool areas with plenty of space. The pools are a bit chilly though. The hotel bar prices are reasonable and staff are really friendly. Clientele is a mix of nationalities, families and also groups such as stags/hens/golfing groups but everyone was decent.....no trouble causers. Town centre is close (5 mins) down a hill and stairs, no problem if you're average fitness but some older clients found it difficult. Taxis no problem, lots of free street parking everywhere as well. Decent rooms with daily maid service and aircon, no pool towels provided. Small shop opposite hotel selling essentials.

Just stayed there for 7 days. Lovely place. Nice rooms we were on the 5th floor with full sea views and overlooking the pool. All rooms face the pool and half have full sea view and the other half have sea views to the right. Well sound proofed we never heard anything the pool closes at 7pm and so does the pool bar. The apartment has zanussi washing machine dishwasher and a fridge freezer. Plus a big balcony and a clothes line table and chairs. Take washing capsules as only dishwashing tablets were left for us and a tea towel. The satalite TV was rubbish only a small TV about 16 inch and the only programme we could get was movies4men CNN news and Euros port. The staff were so very polite and spoke English with the maid coming in every day to tidy up your apartment. The place was kept so clean with house keeping working all the time keeping the communial areas clean and tidy. There is a Tui rep based at this hotel most of the day and into the evening and free wifi is available in the lobby it is chargeable in your room. The breakfast was amazing with a full English cereal and continental plus fruit yoghurt pan au chocolate and other yummie pastries all buffet style tea coffee chocolate juice ice water but no decaff . Dinner was also buffet style with a selection of canopies and salad bar plus hot meals like chicken, lasagna, fish, pasta and a vegetarian option plus every night and a section of desserts plus cheese dates fresh fruit. Chef was there every night with his theme for the night. One night it was Portuguese then Mexican and one night English. Chief was such a good cook and a fun guy. Every night we sat in the cocktail bar and has a few drinks. These drinks were about the same price as in town. I have to say that this accommodation is at the top of a hill and there are 97 steps to get down to the old town not so bad going down but a killer In the heat coming back not ideal for anyone who has mobility issues yet there is a free shuttle bus that goes to the old town at 10 am 12, 14 16 and finally 1730 and back 5 minutes after this time.. Aldi and Lidl are up the road about 10 mins walk where we went to get water and snacks. The beach and the lively town square were a nice place to sit in the shade and watch the world go buy and have a geletto they have the most amazing icecream and usually live music or entertainment going on.

Simply love the Cerro Mar this is our third stay here, the rooms are so well equipped, we have been lucky with the beautiful views, obviously not all rooms will have a sea view, staff are excellent, friendly and very helpful, the facilities are excellent and a very short distance to the old town square, all rooms have air con at no extra cost you can hire a safe key and an iron would 100% recommend

Amazing holiday, lovely hotel with fantastic staff. Stayed here for a fortnight with husband and 3 year old daughter. The hotel is situated on a steep hill with a 5 minute walk down about 90 steps into the old town, perfect location for us. Close enough to wander out to dinner (although we ate in the hotel 3 nights and it was great- buffet or a la carte) and far enough away from the bars so it was quiet.There's a convenience store on the opposite side of the road from the hotel.
The facilities in the hotel are great. The hotel is spotless and well maintained and the staff are brilliant. Happy, friendly and good fun. The gym is well equiped and theres a spa and a few yoga classes too. We just loved it. I'd go back and would most definitely recommend.
The old town is busy and there's lots to keep you entertained. You can chose from full on party to quiet dinner- it's all in walking distance. It's just exactly the sort of holiday that suits our family. The beach is really pretty and there is a mini train which runs on the road and takes you to other parts of Albuferia. We found Portugal to be very reasonable when it comes to eating and drinking out. It's just a really fantastic place. One thing to note. There are 3 buildings to this hotel the garden apart hotel is the main one and best. It has amenities the other two buildings share.

Bedden zijn helaas niet best, en de appartementen zijn zeer gehorig. Hotel/ appartement zit kort op het centrum, echter wel boven op n heuvel, middels een lange trap kom je beneden in het uitgaansgedeelte....

1.Zimmer mit alter Küche in viel zu kleinen Raum hat gestunken. Zweites Zimmer war besser aber Einrichtung trist und dunkel. Hallenbad macht nicht zum Verweilen an. Essaal für Frühstück glich einer Gefängniskantine. Massenabfertigung, überfordertes Personal. Raum viel zu laut, Kaffeeautomaten mit grässlichem Kaffee. Pup im Hotel einziger Lichtblick.
Personal an der Rezeption sehr hilfsbereit und haben uns aus Vertrag entlassen. Würden depressiv in diesem Laden.

Poor standard arrived with very little help from the start had a booking of 10 people.Room wasnt sweaped until our final few days very poor or rubbish taken away till 6 day.Went for breakfast on christmas day was appauling plastic glasses and raw meat served at the breakfast when we complained we were shouted at by the lady behind the bar to her defense she was doing it all herself with no help but her reaction was appauling.All in all a very poor experience alot of steps also but taxis are not expensive would not recomend maybe its better in the summer but was awful for christmas....

Heerlijk hotel lekker zwembad alleen de Wifi is dramatisch en bijkopen is gigantisch duur. Dan kun je beter zelf bij je eigen profider bijkopen.
Verder is het uitzicht fantastisch. Wat wel maakt dat naar het strand of het dorp lopen, via de trap, een aardige inspanning oplevert vooral na een avond gezellig tafelen.

Be careful with your valuable things. The cleaning personnel stoled my cellphone and sun glasses. The security box did not work. In the reception they told me they trust them because they have worked there for 15/20 years and never happened. The cleaning lady that did it was no older than 30 yo. The police (GNR) told us that it happens a lot. Look for another hotel.

We had a really good week away at the Cerro Mar Atlanticco with Jet2 Holidays. the accomodation was clean and tidy and it is well located. We opted for the the breakfast package and that is well worth it. For our other meals we either went into the town or took a walk to Aldi or Lidl and made our own lunch both Aldi & Lidl are less than a mile away.
The hill (98 steps) is fine going down to the town and takes but a few minutes but coming back it's strain for anyone, it's not just the steps but the hill afterwards too. That said there is a complimentary shuttle bus down to the town every couple of hours throughout the day and if you time it right you can catch it back up the hill too. A taxi was 4 euro with tip.
The only down side is the often terrible (mostly young) british tourists. We only had the one Hen party a couple of rooms away from us but it had to be pointed out to them that starting loud music at 11pm was not on (there is a curfew in the rules). Then the was the general coming back from the night clubs at 5am noise.
There is very little information provided by the hotel once you arrive on the facilities available etc no welcome pack in the room so do your homework before you go or ask the other guests. Reception are not always very helpful (tend to be a bit aloof with not always great english)
If you want to swim in the indoor pool you will need your own swimming hat (men and Women) so that was out of bounds for me as I can't get a hat to fit my head!
However we would certainly go again not to the Atlanticco but to the main hotel (the gardens) as it seems to be more peaceful.

Prima hotel met vriendelijk personeel in een rustig deel van Albufeira. Heeft binnen en buiten zwembad , fitneszaal bij het hoofdgebouw. Eventueel tegen meerprijs (€7,50 pp) kan je gebruik maken van het ontbijtbuffet. 2 andere gebouwen mogen gebruik maken van deze faciliteiten. Minpuntje blijft in het weekend het gillend, schreeuwend straal bezopen Engelse volk dat een negatief stempel drukt. Komen voor een weekendje feesten en zijn 3 dagen bezopen. Wanneer ze dit volk weren absoluut 5 sterren.

Excelentes instalações, nomeadamente a piscina interior, a exterior, o apartamento, o ginásio e o restaurante. Os colaboradores são muito cordiais. A localização também é boa. Apenas como sugestão de melhoria, a cozinha deveria ter micro-ondas e o acesso ao Wi-Fi deveria ser grátis nos apartamentos.

Depois de ter lido alguns comentários desagradáveis estava um pouco receoso, mas afinal correu tudo dentro do esperado. Todo o staff foi sempre muito prestável e simpático. O apartamento tinha vista para a piscina e para o mar. Boas áreas para um T1, limpo e asseado, com 2 AC que foram necessários. Limpeza e troca de toalhas era diária, o que foi muito agradável. Toda aquela zona é bastante sossegada, o que dá para bons momentos de relaxamento, isto apesar de estarmos a poucos minutos a pé do centro de Albufeira. Várias piscinas para todos os gostos. Boas espreguiçadeiras e os locais circundantes com relvado e jardins muito bem tratados. Piscina de interior óptima e sossegada. O pequeno almoço incluído era bom e diversificado.
O que não foi mau, mas podia ser melhor: A TV era muito pequena 19"; A comida/bebida nos bares de apoio às piscinas era um pouco cara; A regra da não reserva das espreguiçadeiras com toalhas não é imposta o que leva a que nos tenhamos de levantar muito cedo para reservar lugares; Rede Wi-Fi praticamente nula.

Idéal avec des enfants: en à peine 10 minutes à pied, on se retrouve sur la place centrale dAlbufeira, sans avoir à supporter ensuite les désagréments du bruit de la vie nocturne pour dormir. Hôtel très sympa pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis. Le seul défaut: un absence totale dinformations dès notre arrivée, sur les services proposés par lhôtel.

Très décevant. 10 bonnes raisons de ne pas y aller. 1) nous avions la chance dêtre au 2 ème étage, face à un chantier avec une grue devant la petite vue sur mer. 2) ceux qui étaient en dessous ne profitaient que de la poussière et du bruit, 3) pas de sèche cheveux dans les chambres, 4) lits des enfants non préparés à notre arrivée, 5)petit déjeuner dans un autre bâtiment, avec une rue à traverser 6)ménage à fond non fait à notre arrivée, 7) impossible de se servir du four sans déclencher le détecteur de fumée, 8)pas deau froide dans la cuisine, robinet défectueux, finalement remplacé, 9)piscine fumeuse, avec des fumeurs et des mégots par terre. 10)si vous êtes au premier étage, vous êtes encore plus puni, avec un soupirail côté cuisine et chambre, donnant directement sur le local technique de la piscine, en dessous du niveau du sol : vous voila coincés entre la poussière et lobscurité.

Positiv: Gute und schöne Lage, ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß zur Altstadt, große Apartements mit EBK. Negativ: Badezimmer und Bettwäsche ziemlich speckig, extrem hellhörig. Fazit: Nicht empfehlenswert, an der Algarve gibt es besseres.
