This is a full 5 star comment. Hotel is located in a very quite area and easy to find. It looks recently renovated and material are of good standard. Bed is comfortable and room specious. Housekeeping is top notch and cleanliness is very detailed. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Hotel restaurant has also some very good dishes and breakfast is totally recommended.

The staff were incredibly helpful, very kind, and spoke English very well. The hotel was modern and clean, and the WiFi great. Breakfast buffet was wonderful, and their dinner menu great too. The area was very quiet, as were the rooms.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and interesting in design with plenty of character.Thermostat in the room made an quiet but annoying high pitch tone. Shower facilities were a bit dated but functioned ok, although the valve to switch between shower and bath tap was defective.Breakfast area was set nicely at the tables and tried to put on a variety of different things.. good if you like continental breakfast but not much substantial food for those that like something cooked.Unfortunately I had to book an earlier flight and lost the last night none refundable. But advertised as such. I had very little time to enjoy the hotel and would have liked to try the pool.Seems nice for the area though.

É na verdade um óptimo Hotel. Comodidade acima da média, quartos impecavelmente limpos, e, com extraordinário Pequeno-almoço. PARABÉNS!!!!!!

Atendimento e serviço excelente.
Atenção aos detalhes e pormenores no quarto e o Recepcionista era uma simpatia já para não falar de todos os serviços do hotel serem gratuitos, como bicicletas, netflix e PlayStation no quarto, aluguer de filmes, piscina etc.
Certamente voltaremos!

Depois de ter marcado uma reserva a 1 deste mês e para os dias 5 e 6, em que tudo foi tratado por email, assinado pela D. Dora Ferreira, a menos de 24 horas cancelaram a reserva alegando a falta dos dados do cartão de crédito, coisa que na troca de mensagens nunca foi pedida a ninguém. No dia 3 fui contactado por uma funcionária do hotel. Esta queria falar com a minha esposa para saber de uma transferência que nunca foi falada aquando da reserva e garantiu que esta se mantinha. Resumindo: quem não tiver cartão de crédito, não tem categoria para se hospedar no hotel dom Vasco, em Sines. Como se pode confiar em quem não confia nos clientes? Quem é desconfiado, não pode ser honesto.

Very accommodating hotel property. Staff are warm, welcoming, and striving to provide excellent service. Hotel is very clean and thoughtful amenities are throughout. Breakfast provided many options for various tastes and desires. Restaurant meal was quite average. But no other food options appeared nearby. Hotel is a goodvye for level of service, cleanliness, and thoughtful amenities.

Excelente escolha de hotel para estadia em Sines. O melhor pequeno almoço que já comi tanto em termos de qualidade como de quantidade. O resto das refeições também deixam ótimas indicações. Limpeza impecável e muita simpatia por parte de todos os funcionários. Localizado perto do centro da vila.

Tolles Hotel, das man dort so nicht erwarten würde. Sehr freundlicher Empfang, schöne Zimmer und ein fantastisches Frühstücksbüffet das fast keine Wünsche offen lässt. Lediglich das Restaurant fällt etwas ab. Alles in allem eine Top Empfehlung!

Fantastisch hotel met GEWELDIGE SERVICE! Heerlijk eten in het restaurant, heb werkelijk nog niets hier gegeten dat ik dacht dat hoef ik niet meer, nee alles en echt alles is overheerlijk. Zelfs vandaag toen we laat van de raffinaderij af kwamen nog in half 11 en volledige maaltijd met glimlach kunnen bestellen. Met deze service gerichte aandacht voor hun klanten kan voor mij het alweer duurste hotel ter wereld nog een puntje aanzuigen. Echt TOP, echt GEWELDIG hotel!

Good hotel with very courteous staff and good meals.
There are 27 rooms in total, all of which have small balconies. 4 rooms on the ground level have large balconies/sun decks with provision for pool side loungers.
The rooms had PS3 installed and remotes and games could be collected from reception.
The hotel has a bar, restaurant, gym and two swimming pools (for kids and adults)

Very beautifully maintained, quiet and chic hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. It has everything that it says and more. Well maintained garden, swimming pool, children park, lounge, bar , library, gym you name it!!! Its an experience.

First of all lets note that he surroundings are a little sketchy as it is mostly an industrial and fishing town. But the hotel itself is splendid. Very comfortable. The staff is very nice and helpful. The room are very clean. There is an outdoor pool and a jacuzzi, as well as a fitness room. Breakfast was amazing - with cheese, meat, eggs, pastries, cakes, orange juice, etc etc.

Must visit if you want to have the taste of old Portuguese lifestyle. The staff here is good. They answer every query that you have about food or even the place itself. Pool here is not so big but good enough to have a chill. It's near to the Castle and beach, so don't miss on that.

Hotel bem localizado, com uma bela decoração, piscina exterior com ginásio, muito limpo e organizado sempre com um miminho para o hóspede. Primam pela simpatia de todos os empregados e o pequeno almoço e fenomenal com imensa escolha em inclusive produtos regionais. A primeira vez que encontro um hotel com PlayStation no quarto. A repetir seguramente. Um oásis no deserto de Sines.

Best hotel to stay if you plan to visit Altenjo region. I have stayed many times and the staff is always friendly. They always go out of way to make your stay comfortable. They even provide breakfast as early as 4 am if you are checking out. The rooms are always maintained clean with welcome drink and local pastries. Breakfast selection offers variety. Restaurant within hotel is good though choices are limited compared to other local restaurants. Would to stay there for family trip once again.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit wunderbarem, hilfsbereitem Personal. Ohne Reservierung und spät angereist, jedoch wurden wir sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend empfangen. Legendäres Frühstücksbuffet. Zimmer sehr sauber und hell. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Das Dom Vasco ist ein wunderschönes, individuelles Hotel in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Stadtzentrum. Bemerkenswert sind die Liebe zum Detail bei der Einrichtung und beim Verwöhnen der Gäste, die Freundlichkeit der Angestellten sowie das tolle Frühstücksbüffet welches keine Wünsche offen lässt.

A surprisingly nice hotel in this small industrial town. Set in the center of town in a residential area it is a slightly strange location. When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly member of staff as we parked our car. After helping us with our bags the check-in process was quick and efficient. This service level continued throughout our short stay. Free bike hire was a bonus. This looks to be one of the better hotels in town and I recommend it.

Vom äusserst freundlichen Empfang durch die Rezeptionistin bereits auf dem Autoparkplatz über das nächtliche Bad im (kleinen) Pool und den Cocktail in der Bar danach bis hin zu den liebevollen Aufmerksamkeiten im sehr gepflegten Zimmer ein durchwegs grosser Genuss. Wir hätten es gerne länger ausgehalten in diesem Hotel als nur eine Nacht. Aber auch als Durchreisender erhält man das Gefühl, ein wollkommener Feriengast zu sein. Ganz abgesehen von der Begeisterung des Teenager-Sohnes über die Playstation am TV-Gerät. Schade, ist Sines kein Ort, um lange Zeit zu bleiben.

11-Oct Hotel Dom Vasco, Sines, PortugalSarah and Maria were our friendly and accommodating hostesses at this hotel in a residential area of Sines, Portugal, a large shipping port and oil storage depot. Consequently, we were treated to occasional whiffs of the petroleum industry, but the olfactory assault was rare, but may have accounted for why we were among only a few guests when we stayed during the off-season. Despite that introduction, the room was spacious, and a small bottle of port and two custard pastries were provided as complimentary treats. Service at dinner and breakfast was attentive, and the food was hot and very good. Cost was 170 Euros with free parking, Wifi and breakfast included.

Perhaps the best hotel I have stayed in this year. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished, and the staff make them up with real care and pride. Laundry is done on the premsis quickly and to a good standard. The restaurant is excellent, the bar a large, comfortable, lounge, and the garden pleasant and peaceful. But the best feature is the dedicated and friendly staff. Worth every europ

The hotel was very charming. The staff was exceptionally helpful and wonderful. They couldnt do enough to assist us. We rented two rooms, one for our teenage kids and one for my husband and I. The hotel and rooms were very clean and well appointed. Each room is decorated beautifully with bright and cheerful colors. Our double bed room faced the pool and it had its own terrace where we could relax and have a cup of coffee outside. Our kids room was large with two flat screen TVs and a sofa where my son was able to play on the Play station console there. They had an outdoor heated swimming pool that was opened late. My kids took full advantage of the pools late hours and they had a great time. My daughter used the exercise room which was also very clean and all the equipment was up to date and functional. The restaurant was fantastic, we had dinner and breakfast there. Dinner was great with regional fresh fish cooked to your liking and breakfast was amazing. They offered everything you could imagine for breakfast. My kids loved it. Between the beautiful decor, the excellent staff, the very comfortable rooms and cleanliness of the hotel, we can guarantee that we will be back. We are so glad we picked this hotel.
