Lovely building, great location for motorway. But breakfast doesnt start to 8, not even a cup of coffee! No vegetarian option on set dinner menu, misled/misunderstood that I could swop one in

Condexia is a nice town to stop at. The vibrant square is 5 mins walk from hotel with many amenities and a nice feel to it. The hotel is lovely and an interesting piece of history. The pool is fab and restaurant good too, especially the breakfast. Staff awesome. We had an amazing deck, see if you can get a corner room on the same floor as reception for this.

Bem localizado, fácil de encontrar estacionamento fácil e WiFi gratuito. Simpatia no atendimento.5 minutos para chegar a Coimbra bom para pernoitar longe da azáfama da grande cidade. Daqui pode sair em todas as direcções, Lousã e parque biológico, Coimbra, figueira da Foz, Fátima, Leiria sempre por vias rápidas e autoestradas. Recomendo.

É uma pousada muito interessante, pois dispõe de um edifício muito belo e acolhedor. Aqui encontra-se boa alimentação, muita tranquilidade, estacionamento, pessoas simpáticas e bons espaços para caminhar. Ora, recomenda-se para um bom fim-de-semana.

We were surprised by the fact that the Pousada wasnt actually in the city of Coimbra. I guess we didnt do our homework. As it turns out, it is close to Conimbriga (site of Roman ruins) that we wanted to visit. So it turned out just fine. Only wish the room had had a coffee and tea maker. Pousada personnel, at the front desk, were very helpful, enhancing our stay.

As part of a Jules Verne tour, we expected the restaurant to be ready for us to dine. It took 30 mins before we got a menu, another 15 before our order was taken (only after the receptionist intervened). Our food arrived after 75mins- by which time I was too tired to eat.
As a place to stay.... no water and glasses in the room, no bathrobes. Probably closer to 3*
Definately one to avoid if possible.

A comida, actualmente, é fabulosa. Parabéns à excelente equipe que comanda esta cozinha. É caro, mas vale mesmo a pena, uma delícia para o palato, frescura em tudo o que nos é apresentado. O melhor local para uma refeição que se pretende mesmo agradável.

So far we only eaten dinner here at the restaurant.. but the experience is so great I had to review it.
If you like fancy big and delicious food (sea and steaks and deserts).
everything is so unique and most of the dishes are surved with honey local and great!
the wine selection is great of course.
All of the hotel is covered with antique furniture and statues.
The staff here are so nice and polite.
Seriously a BIG miss if you miss it!

静かな田舎のホテル。
少し歩くと、スーパーもあるし、ちょっと楽しい。
庭には芝生の中に小さなプールや、バドミントンが出来るネットがあり、家族連れがバカンスを楽しんでいた。
部屋は豪華では無いけれど、普通に使いやすかった。
朝食バイキングは、野菜が殆ど無いタイプ。
夕食も、良く言えば、シンプル。
小さな小さなジムがあった。

Calmo e sossegado. Muito agradável. Bons quartos e belas áreas sociais. Espaço de bar muito amplo e confortável, como já não encontrava há muito. Piscina pequena mas muito confortável, longe da confusão. Excelente para um banho reconfortante e relaxar numa boa espreguiçadeira. Sauna e um pequeno ginásio para terminar antes de subir ao quarto. Recomenda-se.

We stopped here for lunch on our way thru the town after visiting the ruins. The food was excellent! Great service. Great portion sizes. Reasonably priced for the fabulous experience.

Hotel gute Lage, ruhig, freundlicher Empfang,10 Minuten bis Coimbra. Restaurant leicht überteuert, einfallsloses Essen, zu teuer für das was auf den Tisch kommt. Personal freundlich aber vollkommen überfordert.

Hotel muito simpático numa zona de sossego absoluto. Instalações super limpas. Staff maravilhoso, muito educado, profissional e diligente. Comida bem confeccionada e bom pequeno almoço, a única coisa que correu menos bem foi que, sendo noite de Consoada e dia de Natal,
trouxeram para a mesa uma tábua de doces pobrezinha, pobrezinha... por ser a época que era, achamos que seria mais indicado um farto buffet de doces, como aliás estamos habituados a ver noutras unidades hoteleiras.

É de lamentar que de um ano para o outro, para uma estadia no dia 10 maio 2020, peçam 110€ para um grupo de peregrinos que este ano tinha pagado 35€ e com pedido de reserva para 2020.

O hotel é muito bonito e requintado. O nosso grupo foi muito bem recebido, comemos muito bem, as sobremesas são divinais e fomos bem atendidos. Contudo, várias pessoas se queixaram do barulho dentro dos quartos causado pelo sistema de aspiração do ar, foi o ponto negativo, porque fora do hotel é muito calmo. Durante a noite, havia mais silêncio na rua do que dentro do quarto! Na zona do bar deveria ter-se o cuidado de desligar as luzes do tecto e acender os vários candeeiros espalhados pelas salas: a luz indirecta cria um ambiente muito mais acolhedor e requintado. Havendo um corredor de serviço, seria sempre de preferir para o transporte das louças e talheres de umas salas para as outras, tentando incomodar o mínimo os hospedes. Existem portas nas salas, que foram feitas para abrir e fechar: elas servem também para isolar deste tipo de barulhos. Recomendo o hotel e o grupo achou que é para continuar.

A nice hotel that we would stay in again. Meals were good though the service was a bit haphazard but nothing to be upset about. Just overworked waiting staff. Reception staff was extremely good.

Wonderful hotel on the way to Compostela. We are an Australian couple & used to staying in 5+ Star hotels in Australia & Asia.Our meal in the restaurant was disappointing. The chef needs advice on how to prepare simple things like Minestrone that was more like a mushroom consommé. The octopus was gritty as if it hadn’t been washed properly & the lamb rack was raw & needed more cooking. The creme brûlée was not as smooth as it should be & the egg wasn’t incorporated properly.I’m a fussy foodie Apart from that, the hotel could stand comfortably on an international stage.

Smart, comfortable hotel, free parking. Marvellous outdoor, unheated swimming pool set in a large, beautifully tended lawn. Location - 2 and a half miles from the terrific Conimbriga Roman ruins. About 10 miles outside Coimbra which is worth visiting. Nothing much in local Condeixa village.Hotel has changed ownership and title in the last couple of weeks. Several new inexperienced staff.

brand new renovated 2019, in good hands of a non-profit organisation, this Pousada and staff will provide you 5* service (officially 3* hotel) even the rates are also more 5*Super good beds in spacious rooms. Pool, Sauna and Gym is big plus. Very attentive staff always commited to support and help. Condeixa is a nice village in walking distance with restaurants and cafes, Definetly recommended to visit.

easily reached, out of town but near the roman ruins whichis what we had most interest in. Wish we had been there during warmer weather so we could have used the pool. It was beautiful.

We stayed here in May and were very pleased with the room,service ,breakfast and dinner. It was a wonderful experience and well situated to go to Coimbra and Conimbriga the Roman ruins. The staff were helpful and friendly and the Pousada was in peaceful surroundings. Having stayed all over Europe in different places this was one of our favourites.

What a unique experience, staying in a castle. The hotel has all the amenities you could want, room service, restaurant, bar/cafe, garden areas, a tower to explore and more. there is plenty of free parking and Wifi worked very well from our room. Breakfast was a wonderful buffet, but an extra charge per person. The town is samll, but walking the castle walls is very interesting. Well worth the stay on the way to Segovia.

Ótimas instituições. Palácio espetacular. Visitei o Palácio integrado numa ação de formação realizada pelo Sindicato dos Professores da Região Centro - SPRC.
Fomos presenteados com uma explanação histórica do edifício apresentada pelo Dr. Miguel (do Museu Nacional de Conímbriga) percorremos os painéis com motivos mitológicos romanos (executados em cânhamo e pintados a tempera).
Seguiu-se o repasto, as entradas habituais (vários tipos de pão, manteiga, azeitonas e vinhos à escolha - o nosso colestrol agradeceu), Carne de Porco à Alentejana e sobremesas variadas, incluindo o doce regional - as escarpiadas.
Tivemos uma demonstração ao vivo da técnica de pintura em cerâmica - faiança, realizada por um professor participante da ação.
Atendimento espetacular.

Maravillosa. En todo. Ubicación ideal en el encantador pueblo de Condeixa, a 15 min de la preciosa Coimbra, a 40 de Fatima, a otros 40 de las playas de Figueira da Foz, a 1 hora de Aveiro... Un lugar precioso, habitaciones super amplias y elegantes, limpio hasta el último rincón, personal amabílisimo que se preocupa en cada momento y en cada detalle por hacer una estancia agradable, desayuno muy bueno, teníamos media pensión y la cena siempre exquisita, facilitando platos sencillos para los niños.... De lujo. Recomendadísima.

Das Pousada ist in die Jahre gekommen. Die Zimmer sind recht gross, mit Blick auf den grossen Garten. Aber die Spannteppiche sind fleckig und müssten meines Erachtens ersetzt werden. Das Badezimmer funktionell, aber auch älteren Datums.Auch dort wäre Modernisierung angebracht. Der Empfang war nett und die Empfehlungen gut. Neu gibt es dort einen kleinen Fitnessraum, das fand ich super, allerdings bräuchte es meines Erachtens noch einen Wasserbehälter. Weil Training macht Durst. Diese Empfehlung habe ich auch weiter geleitet.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay @ the Pousada Condeixa a Nova. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had a lovely balcony which overlooked the pool and the surrounding countryside. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They let us check out several hours late, which gave us time to visit the nearby ruins of Conimbriga on our last day. The pousada is also just 15 minutes from Coimbra, and the staff gave us tips on the best way to go there. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. In addition, we purchased half pension and had dinner @ the pousada. We had two fantastic dinners, one of grilled sea bass, sublime honey dew melon soup with bacon bits, and passion fruit cheesecake. We liked the restaurant and staff so much, we also had lunch there our last day. I had an amazing shrimp cocktail served in papaya, and my husband had a very tasty mushroom omelette. We had a light and excellent pineapple- strawberry Bavarian cream for dessert.

Petit déjeuner (inclus dans le prix) et restauration : variés et servis. Possibilité dun service en chambre (payant). Internet disponible : un ordinateur libre-service ou possibilité dun service payant particulier. Lecture possible : faudrait une presse et/ou des revues en dautres langues (dont le français). Que dire? : PARFAIT.
