Lovely place. The owner and staff are friendly and made us feel home. Rooms were luxurious. Home cooked dinner made the stay just perfect. We met other pilgrims and had a great time eating together making new friends.

Room was clean and bright with a view of the river and square . Breakfast was great with fresh fruit and home baked pastries and excellent coffee. Staff is friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend this hotel to you.

Excelente espaço interior e exterior. No entanto, o facto dos donos se encontrarem no local durante a estadia coloca alguma pressão nos hóspedes e desconforto. No entanto, são pessoas muitos simpáticas e acolhedoras

Buen hotel con una piscina muy agradable! Ideal para descansar. El desayuno y cena excelentes, aunque no ofrecen almuerzo. Las bebidas son caras (€ 2,5 por cada lata de gaseosa).

Zunächst sehr freundlicher Service. Am Morgen der Abreise aber dann ein Fantasiezuschlag auf den Preis des Doppelzimmers. Wir fragten bei Reservierung nach einem Doppelzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten. Das wurde mir o.k. bestätigt. Bei Ankunft zeigte die Inhaberin uns als erstes ein Familienzimmer als Option, ohne dafür einen Preisaufschlag zu nennen und überließ u s die Wahl. Bei Abreise 25,00 €mehr als vereinbart. Wir zeigten unser Unverständnis deutlich. Die Antwort war: “Warum haben sie nicht nach dem Preis für dieses Zimmer gefragt? Sehr u angenehme Erfahrung!

Die Villa D´Arcos liegt ein wenig abseits der Küste (es sind ca. 12km nach Vazim oder Vila do Conde) in einer sehr netten ländlichen Region im Raum Porto. Das luxuriöse Haus aus dem das Hotel entstanden ist wird von einer sehr freundlichen, serviceorientierten Familie geführt und bietet alle zu erwartenden Annehmlichkeiten eines Vier-Sterne-Hotels.Besonders hervorzuheben sind für mich die großen und bequemen Betten, die Vollklimatisierung (individuell einstellbar) des Raumes, der für ein so kleines Hotel große und vor allem tiefe und beheizte Pool und allem voran die Freundlichkeit und Herzlichkeit, mit der man hier begrüßt und versorgt wird.Das Frühstücksbuffet wird in einem größeren Wohnzimmer eingenommen, welches herrschaftlich eingerichtet ist. Es ist klein aber fein und bietet von allem etwas. Wer an die Buffets in großen Hotels (Steigenberger, Hilton & Co.) gewöhnt ist vermisst zwar vielleicht die Auswahl an verschiedenen Käse- und Wurstarten, doch es gibt von allem etwas und das schöne ist: vieles ist hausgemacht. Neben selbstgemachten Marmeladen und Honig war auch selbstgebackener Kuchen und - sehr empefehlenswert - Joghurt täglich vorhanden und die Angebote wechselten.Ein minimaler Wermuthstropfen könnte sein, dass die Installationen (Dusche, Waschbecken und WC) im Zimmer erkennbar nachträglich eingebaut wurden. Es sind sehr hochwertige Ammaturen, aber nur das WC ist abgetrennt.Für mich eindeutig ein super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis - 10 von 10!

Шикарный гостевой дом. Отличные номера, есть завтраки и можно заказать ужин. В саду есть хороший бассейн. В общем, все что нужно для хорошего отдыха. Могут быть мелкие организационные накладки (от нашего номера потерялся ключ), но это не портит общее впечатление.

Beautiful place to stay, beautiful room, comfortable bed and the pool was very clean and really nice to lay out beside it. Our server was very friendly and kind and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. we were offered a 4 course meal for 20 euro and drinks were extra, it was very reasonable

Ehe schönes kleines Hotel, tolles Frühstück und Abendessen Alles selbst gemacht von der Hausherrin. Super Pool. Leider war sie an einem Tag etwas genervt was auch die Gäste gespürt haben. Trotzdem würde ich wieder kommen

A lovely stop along our Portuguese Camino. Beautiful property and very friendly staff. The room was lovely but a touch on the smaller side. Otherwise it was great.

This property is fantastic! So spacious and very clean. Reception was very welcoming and casual and attention is paid to guest comfort and special requests. Bedrooms are very efficient. We ate in a gorgeous dining room, our meals were all home cooked with special home made jams and jellies for breakfast. Pool is heated. Staff are great and very client focused including laundry services. Don't pass this up its in a great setting!

My son got bit by a spider while he was sleeping. Not a normal spider but a biggest I have ever seen. Ear was swollen and had to taken him to the hospital. Total nightmare when you don't speak the language. And on top of that owner started blaming us saying it was have come in our shoes. I told her we all were Sandles. Also with two kids the toilets are outside the room. Not in the room. Putting some pics of the spider and my sons ear. Caution and check the beds and pillows by the wall. Bleeding nightmare. Our holiday ended before it started.

Une chambre confortable et un très bon petit déjeuner. Un accueil assez inexistant, un prix un peu élevé pour des pèlerins.

Sehr schönes Hotel und super Service. Leute sind ganz toll hilfsbereit, wenn ich wieder in die Nähe kommen sollte ist dies meine erste Wahl.

Trato personal y familiar. Encantados con el entorno y la tranquilidad que se puede disfrutar. A un paso de varias ciudades muy interesantes.

We had a truly wonderful time at Villa dArcos where we were welcomed in a warm and genuine fashion and then treated like valued houseguests. The room was spotless as was the rest of the hotel, the breakfast was delicious, and the home cooked evening meals were gorgeous.The rural location, in a working agricultural community might not be to everyones taste, but it suited us perfectly.This small hotel has it all - a personal touch, a friendly approach, luxury accommodation and excellent facilities including a heated swimming pool. I cant praise it or the owners and their daughter highly enough.
