Mycket mysigt ställe med väldigt god mat och vänlig personal. Vi hade tur som fick bord direkt kl 19 en lördag. Man bör nog boka för att vara säker på att få plats. Lång kö för att komma in. Hade gärna gått hit igen.

Der "Garden" ist ein super gemütliches Restaurant mit einem atmosphärischen Biergarten. Ich hatte dort Cod-Nuggets mit Knoblauchdip und Lachs-Mousse als Vorspeise (beides klasse!) sowie den Grillteller als Hauptgericht und kann nur sagen, dass ich hellauf begeistert war. Das Fleisch war durchgehend auf den Punkt und die Rippchen perfekt. Allerdings hatte jemand aus unserer Truppe die vegetarische Lasagne und war davon überhaupt nicht angetan.
Es ist definitiv zu empfehlen einen Tag vorher zu reservieren. Außerdem wird es abends aufgrund des Windes sehr kalt, weshalb man sich gut einpacken sollte. Es werden zwar Decken von den Bedienungen gereicht, aber diese helfen nur bedingt.
Trotzdem ist der Garden definitiv einen Besuch wert.

Worst Burger I have ever had and worst food I have had in my two weeks in Pprtugal. Frozen chips. Pina Colada is a premix and overly sweet.
We didn't have fish as we were going that evening to a top fish resturant, therefore cannot comment on the sea food.
Good luck if you eat here, hoping it goes better for you.

Very nice atmosphere, the restaurant is a large open space, it's a big garden, with cats resting and a BBQ smoking. The food was as good as expected, fresh and tasty, but not extraordinary. The service was ok, waiters help each other, there was one waiter in particular with a missing smile and with a grumpy-ish attitude, the others were kind. They have some blankets in case it's cold and windy, but they don't have one for everyone and there is no seats inside. Good point, it's cheap, it cost us 27€ for two main dishes, a starter, a coke and 2 small beers.

Unser Besuch im The Garden war ein wenig durchwachsen. Der Burger (Bens Burger) war sehr gut. Die Sparerips waren leider nicht wirklich kross gebraten, wenn auch sehr zart. Der Coleslaw hat leider ein wenig nach Fisch geschmeckt, den konnte ich nicht essen. Die Atmosphäre war sehr schön, auch wenn es abends wenn es dort schattig wird ziemlich kalt wird. Der Service war gut, wir bekamen auch Decken gegen die Kälte.
Alles in allem muss man nicht unbedingt dort hin gehen um zu essen, um etwas zu trinken ist die location jedoch cool. Und: unbedingt reservieren, am ersten Tag wurden wir abgewiesen, da alle Tische belegt waren. Am nächsten Tag mit Reservierung gab es keine Probleme.

Went there with our 1 year old, amazing. We had BBQ fish, honestly the best fish we had on our hols. Got cod cakes for little one, she loved them. Real friendly staff, awesome setting, fantastic food.

예약을 하지 않고 가면 오래 기다려야할 수 있습니다. 또한 예약을 하지 않으면 테이블 좌석이 아닌 벤치석에 자리를 받을 가능성이 높습니다. 주문한 음식은 BBQ platter 와 rib 이었는데 기본은 합니다. 제가 방문했을 때는 계산이 잘못되었는데, 주의해서 확인하세요. 음식은 무난하고 분위기는 아주 좋습니다. 또한 직원분은 모두 열정적이며 친절했습니다.

Very nice place with great food and good vibe. Girls had the fish of the day and salmon and I had the burger. Everything was great. It just gets a little cold when it's windy. Was still so worth it.

Comida boa e staff simpáticos. Lugar ótimo para turistas que falam em inglês, porém parte dos funcionários apenas falavam em inglês, ou seja, se você fala português e vai neste restaurante que é em Portugal, muito provavelmente será atendido em inglês. Outro ponto negativo é que o lugar têm quase todo espaço em área aberta, isso é muito legal, porém, se faz frio ou se chove complica bastante a permanência no local.

Lugar más bien para tomar algo y acompañar con comida. No exactamente para comer “bien”. Es un local al aire libre con un ambiente informal y decorado con mucha vegetación y algunos detalles vintage. La comida es “normalita” pero me gustó mucho para ir a tomar algo y hacer “postureo” XD

Cooles Ambiente im Innenhof. Bedienung ist nett. Würde allerdings eine Reservierung ein Tag vorher oder so empfehlen. Das Essen ist sehr lecker allerdings wurde ich von einem normalen Gericht nicht satt. Beilage ist nicht viel siehe Bilder.

If I was a Lagos local, I'd come here pretty often, especially on a good weather day. Kind of a bummer that it was super windy the day we went, because I can imagine spending hours there eating small plates and drinking some of the many local bottled beers they have on hand. I had the veggie burger for dinner, which was good, but didn't knock my socks off. I'd for sure have it again, all the same.

Very nice atmosphere here and buzzing. We needed to book a table but told we could only have it until 9pm but no problems and not rushed out. Food was very good and some craft beers available. It was very windy when we went so wrap up warm but they do provide blankets.

Ok, ich lebe hier und kenne The Garden seit seinen Anfängen. Gestern nach längerer Pause mal wieder dort gewesen, sehr enttäuscht! Ambiente immer noch schön, Musik immer noch angenehm, Essen wohl sogar noch besser als in meiner Erinnerung ABER: wenn man behandelt wird, wie der letzte...... , dann ist das alles nichts wert! Schon beim reinkommen: stay right here! Hello? Dann später wurden wir abgeholt: Do you want to eat? Essen war lecker, aber Bedienung endlos langsam. Mehrmals wurde versucht, uns die beiden noch halbvollen Vorspeisenteller zu entreißen. Und zwar von verschiedenen Personen. Wer sagt denn, dass wir nicht die restlichen Vorspeisen als Nachtisch essen dürfen? Schließlich wurden uns die immer noch vorhandenen Vorspeisen entrissen und die Rechnung präsentiert. Nicht etwa, dass alle Tische voll gewesen wären, und am Eingang wartete auch niemand. Das brauche ich nicht mehr, und meine Gäste auch nicht.

With its dense Fauna of exotic plants and fruit trees, colourfully cushioned furniture and lovely décor, The Garden looks like a mix of jungle and hipster-café (in the most positive sense). The English speaking staff as well as the food & drink prices are welcoming and attract mostly young travelers. Don't underestimate this place though: The food, the drinks and the friendly staff are among the best you can find in Lagos. 5/5 hearts for this place!

The food here is amazing and so is the vibe. I had the grilled fish of the day and it was perfection. Exactly how I want my fish to be cooked. Salad had good dressing. It came with small potato ... I prefer the fries .
I also got the spring rolls... it not the style I like. I love the small ones with thin shell. This had thick shell and the sauce was more spicy then sweet.
Came back here and tried the salmon and it was truly heavenly. For dessert I had the apple crumble. This place has such good vibes and food quality at affordable prices.

You walk in to an incredible outdoor restaurant surrounded by beautiful plants and (hopefully) glorious weather. The food is fresh and superbly prepared all priced incredibly well and the service is excellent provided by energetic and attentive staff. The value is superb too with two of us eating for 23 euros, superb.

After entering my parents firstly where shocked because of the Location. But me, an intellegent ni ️ ️a instantly got the ,,Hippie"-vibe. We sat down and ordered our drinks n food (Big up to the nearly blonde waitress). And right after, the ,,Garden" filled UP with some ,,Hippies" that seemed to now the Resturant and a lot of tourists. After waiting for like 20mins we got our food and yeah it tasted great. Especially CHIEFS SPECIAL SAUCE ️ was nice xD.

Cheap and cheerful with good service. The menu is not very extensive or fanciful but the plates are generous and of a good quality. I had a grilled fish with salad and a glass of wine for 12 euros at lunch, and the setting is worthy of hanging out for half a day in the sun. For the atmosphere alone this would be a 5 star rating.

Lugar al aire libre para comer o cenar. La especialidad son las costillas, aunque para nuestro gusto llevaban demasiada salsa barbacoa. La ensalada que pedimos era la de atún con mayonesa. Comida decente, aunque no especialmente sobresaliente. Junto con un humus de entrante y dos cervezas nos salió la cena por 32€, por lo que de precio es asequible. ¡Muy buena atención y amabilidad por parte de los camareros!

We didn't eat food so I can't comment on this but it's a great spot to just chill and have a beer. This place is all about the setting and it's pretty much the only bar that is outside and full of tree's.
It really just feels like you are in your friends back garden. The service was friendly and were good and looking after everyone.

A very nice place just outside the busy center where you can relax and have a drink, as well as a decent meal. They have a large selection of starters and dishes, but also serve several types of Portuguese craft beers and cocktails. Not a place to visit in bad weather, because it is quite literally a garden, but if the sun is out, this is where you want to be!

Bellissimo spazio verde nel cuore del Centro storico. Abbiamo preso un antipasto ed un dolce per fare uno spuntino, ed era tutto ottimo. Il posto, per quanto sia grande, crea comunque un'ottima sensazione di 'intimità' data dal gran numero di piante che c'è. Molto consigliato soprattutto per fare una pausa sotto il caldo di agosto!

Un bien bel endroit avec une décoration agréable et relaxante l'après midi, une cusine très correcte pour un prix très sympa. Un bbq mix grill ou un poisson grillé, plus une boisson à moin de 10euros pour les formules les plus populaires, d'autres plats intéressant à la carte. On a testé un dessert une crème de citron qui était fait maison et très bon. Le service est un peu plus aléatoire mais volontaire. On y passe un bon moment, j'aimerai retester le soir cela doit être très sympa aussi et une autre ambiance.

Bra utbud av lokal finöl. Trevlig personal och inredning. Hade tänkt gå tillbaka en annan gång och äta, men tyvärr skulle de stänga för säsongen. Får bli ett annat år.

I came his with my girlfriend. We had strawberry daiquiris and the BBQ special. The BBQ special is great value for money, 3 choices of meat and a drink for €9.50 (beer or wine). I'm giving this 4 stars as I really like new potatoes, and I mean I REALLY like new potatoes, but felt they skimped on the new pots. From memory the dish came with 3 potatoes, if they had put 2-3 more on my plate this would be a solid 5 star review. Anyhow, the BBQ special was awesome, so much so we came back a few days later and had it again. I would go back for a third time, but I'd be anxious over the new potato count.

Super! Ich würde sagen mit die gemütlichste Bar bzw. Restaurant in Lagos. Essen sehr lecker und sogar Cocktails können sie. Das ganze noch zu super fairen Preisen. Und das Personal ist mega zuvorkommend.

Bardzo klimatyczne miejsce zarówno w ciągu dnia gdzie mozna znaleźć trochę cienie czując się jak w dzikim ogrodzie. Wieczorem światło lampek i świeczek sprawia że jest jeszcze bardziej magiczne. Obsługa świetnie mówi po angielsku. Możliwa jest płatność kartą. Jeżeli chodzi o menu to jest w czym wybierać:pyszne burgery-zarowno mięsny jak i wegetariański, wegetariańska lasagne itp.

Die tollen Bewertungen verstehe ich nicht wirklich. Essen für mich 3,5 *, solide aber kein Highlight.
Das Ambiente ist wirklich klasse. Die jungen Bedienungen passen zum vermutlich abends eher jungen Publikum und waren freundlich. Nichts zu meckern aber auch keine 5 Sterne.

Ich hatte die "BBQ grilled plate" beschrieben als "grilled pork, sausage and ribs" - und war überrascht von einer einsamen Scheibe Bauchfleisch vom Grill als grilled pork. Sicher korrekt, aber irgendwie hatte ich das nicht erwartet.
Dachte eher an ein Stück Fleisch...
Die Rippchen waren dafür umso besser, das zarte Fleisch löste sich perfekt. Die BBQ sauce auf den Rippchen war lecker, sehr süß und rauchig. Über das Würstchen gibt es nichts zu sagen. Gegrilltes Würstchen halt.
Als Nachtisch lemon mousse - das brachte den vierten Stern.
Man kann gut her kommen, aber ich würde nicht ausschließen, dass es in Lagos heißere tips gibt... Aber für die solide Leistung auf jeden Fall Obrigado!

My wife and I came here for drinks before dinner and loved the atmosphere! We had the barmen’s cocktail of the week and it was he best drink we had on our 3 week honeymoon in Europe (gin, basil, lemon, soda). Staff was very friendly and accommodating, one of our favorite bars in Lagos (and we visited a lot!)

Have been here 8 or 9 times over 4 years. Food is always great. Staff always friendly BUT as they have got too busy they are trying to turn tables over so fast. We had great starters today and waited 35 mins for mains to arrive. Were not offered desert and asked to pay at bar as they were running behind. Will we come probably not

You have to pre-book. We booked from 7 and we had to leave at 9 because of another booking. If you can live with this time schedule you would have a very positive experience. A bbq fish to remember.

Location ist sehr schön und gemütlich. Das Personal ist durchweg freundlich und aufmerksam.
Hatten einen Abend vorher reserviert und haben keine 10 Minuten auf unseren Tisch gewartet, was völlig okay ist.
Wir waren zu viert, hatten von Wein bis Cocktails und Fisch bis Fleisch alles auf dem Tisch stehen. Die Cocktails waren gut, wir mussten nicht zu lange warten und das Preis-Leistungsverhätnis ist unschlagbar. Der Fisch war super lecker, die Rippchen auch top!
Ich würde the Garden auf jeden Fall vor jedem der Lokale in der Fußgängerzone in der Innenstadt empfehlen.

We feel in love with this place. It is nestled in this charming little garden full of couches and tables. The food was amazing. Not authentic Portuguese but still yummy. Some vegetarian options for lasagne and burger. Lots of cocktails available.

Gut, der Laden sieht ein wenig aus, wie aus der Hippiezeit übrig geblieben und Sauberkeitsfanatiker sollten auch nicht hohe Erwartungen stellen. Aber der Garten (Name ist Programm, es gibt ausschließlich Sitzplätze draußen im Grünen) hat einfach Athmosphäre. Das Essen ist gut, Anders in positivem Sinn (Beispiel südafrikanischen Curry-Huhn-Eintopfgericht nach Rezept aus Durban), man ist/isst urlaubsmäßig relaxt. Schön dort, ich war schon mehrfach dort und gehe auch wieder hin. P.S. der Laden ist so beliebt, spätestens ab 18Uhr empfiehlt es sich, vorzubestellen!!!

La experiencia fatal, vamos para no repetir. Eramos 7 y nos sentaron en una mesa de salon(pequeña) y en sofás donde no entraban los platos ni las copas. Nos ubicaron debajo de un árbol sin apenas luz, y una vela en medio que se apagaba constantemente. Con respecto a la comida me pareció muy escasa y nada de otro mundo, los platos de los niños eran pechuga de pollo(1/2 filete cortado en 2 y 3 patatas) esa es la presentación y falto de sal. Las costillas de cordero no saben a nada, las costillas están buenas por la salsa que traen. El local está bien decorado pero si sopla el viento te mueres de frío y te prestan mantas pero no hay las suficientes. Cuidado a la hora de pagar porque te vuelven a cobrar rondas que ya habías pagado.
Vamos para no volver.

Una decepción, nos pusieron en una mesa con sofás a 7 personas en la que como mucho comían 4, y eso que era una reserva. Estábamos a oscuras, no se veia nada de nada. La comida normalita, y muy muy muy escasa. La sangría don Simón tal cual, ni se molestan en esconderse para que no veas que no la hacen ellos....vamos, un despropósito...
El sitio si es muy bonito, y tiene su encanto, pero yo desde luego no lo recomiendo para nada .

Lo único positivo valorable, es el trato del camarero español del bar en la espera. Después de esperar una hora para cenar, nos pusieron la bebida sin vasos, tras levantarnos de la mesa para pedirlos en la barra, nos lo traen con un solo hielo, por tanto la bebida quedó caliente en la siguiente hora que esperamos el plato de costillas que sirvieron sin la ensalada (porque quisimos modificarla y se les olvidó traerla). Por el error no nos descontaron la ensalada que faltaba en el plato y nos ofrecieron la ensalada después de haber terminado de cenar o bien un par de cafés (Quién va a tomar café tras la cena para acostarse??!). No aceptaron ni ofrecer un postre siquiera.
Una decepción total! Lo único que atrae es la decoración, pero el servicio fue nefasto. No lo recomiendo para nada

Hoy, después de varios días en Lagos hemos decidido comer aquí. Al entrar la única opción que nos dan es ponernos en un rincón (zona con techo), zona en la que hacía muchísimo calor. Según la camarera sólo hay esa opción, ya que las demás mesas están destinadas a mas comensales. Finalmente nos tomamos una cerveza y nos fuimos del local.

Das Personal ist freundlich und bemüht.
Die Lokation ist sehr gemütlich und vermittelt eine tolle Atmosphäre.
Aber.. Und darauf kommt es schließlich an... Die Speisen sind unterste Schublade. Wie da manche schreiben können, dass es das beste ist was die gegessen haben ist mit schleierhaft. Sind wohl ihre Werkskantinen gewohnt.
Verbrantes Fleisch, lieblos auf den Teller geklatschter Rúcula, trockenen Burger, lascher Cocktail und das schlimmste : tüttenpommes.

If you can avoid eating at this reastaurant - do it. It looks cozy and the food is OK, but the stuff is really unpleasant. Me and my family just ate dinner there this evening and had a really bad experience. It took really long time to get our food and the bread and butter (& olives) we ordered just to have something to chew on while waiting came way too late. It actually came a munite AFTER we got our main dishes, so it was really no point to have it at that point. We kindly said that we didn’t want that anymore and sent it back to the kitchen. A very angry waitress came back with the plate and started YELLING at us! She was so extremely RUDE! She told us that you always get bread&butter at the same time as the main dish. Which is totally not so. My husband is half portuguise and has visited Portugal at least once a year for the past 40 years and never experienced anything like that. Me neather actually. And it doesn’t even matter. You still just can’t YELL at a custumer and say ”You are wrong. I am portuguise so I know better than you”. She actually said that! And every other guest in the restaurant was quite and stared at us. It was so embarrasing I wanted to just disappear. Awful service!!! There are a lot of nice restaurants close to this one, go there instead!

Lockere Atmosphäre und gutes, vergleichsweise relativ günstige Speisen. Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Manchmal muss man etwas länger warten, aber das Warten wird mit einem leckeren Essen belohnt. In der Wartezeit kann man die zutraulich,sehr faule Katze streicheln die anscheinend zu dieser Location gehört. Ausflug lohnt sich dorthin.

The garden is a really cozy restaurant in the middle of the Lagos old Town. It really looks like a home garden, with grills for the cooks outside.
The food tastes really good, and there is a wide selection of barbecues both of fish and meats.
They even have a housecat to cuddle with.

Die Location ist schon was schönes. Ein Garten im Hinterhof mit verschiedenen Möbeln und einem großen Grill.
Das Essen ist günstig und wird frisch gegrillt. Allerdings bleibt der Geschmack auf der Strecke, das Essen wird lieblos angerichtet.
Es ist für mich eine Imbissbude mit besonderem Ambiente.

고기도 진짜 쫄깃하고 너무 맛있고 립도 부드럽게 발리고 존맛탱구리구여 스파게티 하 진짜 인생스파게티입니다.

This is definitely the worst place to eat in Lagos. The hostess was rude from the start and to top that off we waited 40 minutes for a few starters. We then waited 15 minutes for the bill... The only thing good about this place is their sangria and the atmosphere.

Dreadful. Because you need to book a table in advance, we had to wait two days before we were able to experience their so called delightful menu. We arrived at 1830 and sat at our shared booked table. At 1855 we still hadn't had a menu given to us let alone been asked what we would like to drink. So at 1905 we got up and left. Maybe the food is good. Maybe they were having an off day. The staff were plentiful. Who knows and who cares. I just hope you had a better experience than we did. Good luck amigos

Den Hype um dieses Lokal könnten wir nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Wir sind etwas früher hin um noch einen Platz zu bekommen (Reservierung ab 18 Uhr sinnvoll). Am Eingang steht ein Schild, dass man bitte warten soll, man wird platziert. Gesagt getan, stehen wir eine ganze Weile und kein Mitarbeiter fühlt sich genötigt uns zu empfangen. Nach einer ganzen Weile kommt dann endlich einer und begleitet uns zu einem Tisch. Wir hatten zwei Getränke, zwei Vorspeisen und Hauptgänge bestellt. Die Vorspeisen kamen schneller als die Getränke. Die Getränke (2 Flaschen Cola) kamen auch nur auf Nachfrage noch an. Das Essen war lecker aber beim Hähnchen waren die Beilagen doch sehr übersichtlich. Da hätten es ruhig noch ein paar mehr Kartoffeln sein können.
Für die Küche gibt es die Sterne, weil das Essen gut war. Der Service ist aber eine Katastrophe. Sehr flapsig, locker und unkoordiniert. Unser Nachbartisch hat erst falsches Essen bekommen, dann musste Essen zurück gegeben werden und kam auch nur auf Nachfrage wieder zurück.
Preislich aber in Ordnung.

Es un sitio que destaca por el ambiente, es distinto a todo lo demás. Recomiendo llevar chaqueta ya que es en terraza y siempre suele correr algo de aire.
En lo que se refiere a la comida, que es lo realmente importante, cenamos muy bien.
Eramos dos y pedimos unas brochetas de pollo, unas costillas, y carne bbq. Nos gustó todo mucho, aunque la carne bbq incluía una consumición y nos la trajeron justo después de haber pedido para beber, con lo cual nos juntamos con 3 cervezas. Creo que podrían haber esperado a que terminásemos una, pero no le dimos importancia.
De postre pedimos mousse de limón y estaba buena aunque no era lo más destacado.
Recomendable.

Went to The Garden after visiting 5 years before and loved the place. We were disappointed that the Bunny Chow was not as described on the menu. We were looking forward to the hollowed out bread filled with curry but it came as a couple of slices of bread with curry poured over it. The meal was still nice but when we queried with the waitress as to why it was not as described she’d said ‘it’s not restaurant style food in a bread bowl’! An odd response especially since we’d first had it on our visit to Lagos 5 years before. Having said that the restaurant is lovely with the garden setting in the evening and the staff were great with the service. Just don’t describe a meal and provide something different!

The restaurant seems to be very well visited, so make a reservation. The food was very good and the place by itself is beautyful. Unfortunately we had a bad service when we were there (30 min waiting for the bill, and we had to ask for our return money). This is the reason for just giving a 3 star rating.

Outstanding restaurant. You go down a small street and turn into a restaurant and its basically an oasis. The ribs were very tender and the garden burger had an amazing flavour. Would definitely recommend to anyone. You should definitely book though. The restaurant is always very busy. Especially during summer months.

This place is obviously designed to have a relaxed, chilled vibe ... BUT ironically the way it is run is just the opposite! It's a fast food place with shabby chic decor! All table bookings are only for 1.5 hours. We arrived at 6.30 pm and were told we had to be finished by 8 pm. There were 2 other reservation cards set out on our table for 8 to 9.30 and then 9.30 to 11 ! Not exactly welcoming but depends what you want from a dining experience. But that's not what I want when I'm on holiday. Food was average also. Nice garden though.

We had high expectations of this place as we had to wait 2 days for an available table (in the evening) and there are a lot of positive reviews. For us, it was disappointing. I had the veggie burger which was dry and tasteless. I couldn't finish it once the aioli ran out. The chips were cold. My husband had the steak which was rarer than he ordered, but that might just be different to what we're used to at home. Our starters were also lacklustre. The bruschetta was very oniony and the patagas bravas was potato wedges with a bit of tomato sauce.
There was also no soap in the toilet which in a restaurant I found unacceptable! The waiters and waitresses had to be asked multiple times for things - more drinks and the bill.
The atmosphere and setting are nice but everything else disappointing.

Cooles junges Restaurant in hippem Ambiente. Sehr eigen gestaltet, dabei sehr verspielt und voller versteckter Details und sehr grün. Vielleicht vom Feeling ein bisschen wie eine leicht zugewucherte Surferbude mit großem Grill Eck und entspannter Atmopshäre. Essen ist gut und relativ günstig. Bedienung ist sehr freunldich und aufmerksam, wenn auch nicht immer besonders schnell. Kann man definitiv mal machen.

When we passed by this restaurant every night, it was extremely busy with people waiting at the door. We managed to get in at lunch time, and had a wonderful meal. My half Malaysian wife really enjoyed the chicken satay, noting how the quality is up to par for what you get in Malaysia. After a delicious meal, we immediately booked a reservation for our final night in Lagos.

Este sitio destaca solo por la decoración y el rollo que tiene así con los árboles. La comida, personalmente me pareció cara. Pedimos pollo marinado y la cantidad era muy muy poca. Estaba bien, pero no para tirar cohetes ya que le habían echado demasiado limón para mi gusto.
En cuánto al sitio, es bastante bonito pero al no tener sombrillas, a veces los árboles no puede cubrirte del todo, por lo que tendrás que comer con sol directo y calentándose las cosas a ritmo exponencial.

Great outdoor space and delicious food / drinks. Pitchers of sangria available. They have some blankets available but would recommend layers in case it gets cooler in the evening. They ran out of bananas the second time I was there (unable to make a few of the dessert options) but the main meal (one of the bowls) was delicious!

The garden, el peor sitio para comer y para nada recomendable de Lagos, que te atrae por su olor a barbacoa.
Destacar la falta de comida en la parrillada de carne, y su falta de higiene en las mesas, completamente te quedabas pegado a la madera, destacar como la gente pone los pies encima de las mismas.

The Garden, as its name suggests, is a restaurant set within a courtyard garden. Whilst there are a few little sun traps within the courtyard, you can escape the midday sun under the various trees and canopies. The setting is peaceful, with the din of chatter and music from the bar allowing you to escape the bustle of the old town of Lagos.
The concept is simple, much of the food is barbecue which you can watch being prepared, depending on your seating position, whilst lovely polite serving staff bring drinks and your food.
Whilst the menu and drinks list may not be comprehensive it will certainly satisfy most, the quality is good and the ingredients appeared fresh. Within our group we had, fish, burgers and salad dishes and all looked and tasted great.
The vibe matches the tranquility of the setting, certainly during the day at least as we visited for a mid afternoon lunch. The venue is easy to miss as you slip through a small gateway in to the walled garden off a residential road with little or no paving, in fact it adds to the secret garden vibe. The garden is strewn with fairy lights and I imagine looks very cozy in the evenings. The general furnishings, decorations and such give it a bohemian/ surfer vibe that is very casual and welcoming.
The venue is suitable for all groups whether looking for a family friendly bolthole or somewhere to chill with your loved one.
Well worth a visit, and if you do, keep an eye out for the most chilled cat you are ever likely to see!

The place was very nice and the food was decent at reasonable price. Having said this, we went back home full of flees bites on our legs and bums. We sat on one of the sofas which was probably full of flees and after coming back from holiday I had to run to a dermatologist and I am now taking antibiotics. Place is definitely not hygienic at all, while eating we had the cat jumping on our lap to get some food (I love animals but not while I am eating).
Stay away if you don't want your holidays to get ruined!
