I was so surprised to come across an Indian restaurant in the small town of Alvor. This is such a friendly, cosy place and the service is so warm. The food we ordered was well made and delicious. To top it off, they served masala chai which is always the perfect way to end a filling meal; now not many Indian restaurants in the UK offer that! Go ahead and pay a visit, you won't be disappointed!

I don't usually like going for an Indian meal whilst abroad but the meal I had here was one of the best Currys I'd ever had. I ordered a lamb Bhuna and my Husband had his usual chicken ticka masala and we both were very impressed with the food. I couldn't give this restaurant anything less than 5 stars.

The staff were a delight and any issues with some bland and a not very hot Madras Chicken curry were offset by their spice.

Mastery of guest satisfaction only will be achieved through taking feedback after every course of dining offered to our patrons. In other words feedback is the back bone of the service industry. So make sure every time at every meal of our patrons should be complimented with a “Mehman Nawazi” experiences offered by our service team and the same is ensured by supervisors and managers which is lacking behind. By asking one sentence “How is your food” during the meal of a guest two times actually get an opportunity to solve all kind service/food complaint. Finally when a group of people work to achieve a common goal, as a manager you have to visualize that victory will be only attained through proper coordination and team work. Remember always that we are in the business of “putting smiles on people’s face”. So it doesn’t matter whether it is for our internal or external guest. “Whom ever you serve, Serve with care. Great service, excellent food. We had chicken tandori and lamb korma, rice and naan bread with papadams with sauces for starters.

Best chicken shashlik I've ever had, and I've had quite a few! Been back four times whilst on holiday here in Alvor. Delicious!

Very well presented meal. The carrot garnish is a work of art. A good value lunch time special. Remember that it's a Portuguese curry and can't be compared to a BIR curry.

Fantastic experience overall. I had a side dish forgotten on a party of 12 people, but the food I did get was so good I decided not to complain, and pay for the dish I never had, as the quality and value was so brilliant. Aside from this one oversight, the service was also exemplary. Going again soon.

Yesterday evening I was very happy to eat at Indian garden for 3rd time and introduce it to a good friend of mine . As usual ,the food is worth the best restaurants in Alvor and it's it's is lovely

The blandest King Prawn curry I've ever had, period. I couldn't taste anything remotely sea based which, in a fishing village, is rubbish. The poppadoms were pre-cooked and re-heated in the microwave! 1 chicken Nepalese dish was nice, hence the 2 stars, but if you can't cook fresh poppadoms there's no hope for this place.

Fabulous Nepalese/Indian restaurant. Food is great, friendly staff. Food and drink very reasonably priced. Small place that can seat around 22 patrons. Highly recommended.
