Uma Rota óptima. Repeti 3 vezes

Very nice restaurant, food is good, when we went they were operating the Rota system and a lot of people were just coming in for this, because of this we had to wait at least one hour for our order.

Portugese restaurant in the middle of Alvor. Get there on foot as it’s in the “mostly” pedestrian zone. All the classic Portuguese fare at reasonable prices. Piri-piri chicken was very good and the house red was good value. I would agree with previous reviews that you shouldn’t be in a hurry to eat as the food did take some time to arrive, but was cooked fresh...you can see the chef working in the kitchen.

Der Kellner war freundlich. Wir hatten u.a Stockfisch der gut gemacht war. Preislich ist es sehr günstig.

Good food, but terribly slow. The staff were OK but not overly friendly- the one person serving seemed to go out of his way not to take notice that we wanted to order after waiting for 20 mins. Overall the good food made up for the poor service - otherwise it would have been one star.

Très bon restaurant qui garde un charme portuguais traditionnel ! Un petit restaurant d’une décoration traditionnelle avec les azulejos et une cuisine ouverte sur la salle. Pas une décoration en mettre pleins les yeux juste pour attirer les touristes mais ce lieu mérite de s’arreter prendre un repas. Un accueil chaleureux et des bons plats juste ce qu’il faut pour un bon repas et le tout a des prix raisonnables. Je recommande les plats a la « cataplana » qui sont délicieux.

Los camareros muy atentos, hablan bien el castellano y la comida bastante buena los filetes ricos de un dedo de grosor mas o menos y con interesantes salsas, las patatas recien fritas. Calidad precio para la zona esta bien.

Some people have left enticing reviews intended for the D. Pipas near Sintra. Careful not to confuse the two as we did! The place in Alvor was next to empty and the atmosphere wasn’t jovial. Commercial American music videos playing above on the TV. Definitely for tourists as in the heart of tourist-central. The sardines were tasty. The service was slow (two servers working).

Petit restaurant Portugais qui ne paie pas de mine mais qui est très bon. L'accueil est très agréable et le service assez rapide. Nous avons même eu droit à une petite attention comme la sangria blanche qui n'était pas à la carte, qui nous a été confectionné sur demande.

Restaurant dans une rue piétonne agréable qui propose des tables extérieures et intérieures. L accueil est sympathique en anglais si vous le souhaitez. Plat de palourdes à 15e ce qui est correct car extra avec des frites en plus pour 2e. Le café est à 0.80e Cuisine portugaise traditionnelle de qualité

Wir waren heute dort zum Abendessen. Es war sehr enttäuschend. Die Vorspeise ein simples Knoblauchbrot hat an Steinzeitbrot erinnert oder man nennt es sehr knusprig. Als Hauptspeise habe ich gegrilltes Rinderfilet gewählt, was ich bekam war alte Schuhsohle. Selbst mit kleinsten Gabelbissen war das Fleisch nicht kaubar. Von Filet war da keine Spur. Also für mich steht fest, dort nie wieder. Schade um das Geld.

Love this family run restaurant. The staff, Sandra and Sophia are very friendly and the food excellent. Maria, the chef, has been cooking for years and certainly knows how to cook! The house wine is excellent too! We have been eating in this restaurant for years.

As senhoras foram super simpáticas e a comida era agradável. O preço um pouco alto mas é normal para tal localização.

This restaurant was absolutely incredible! It was recommended to us by our air bnb host when we arrived in Sintra. The first night we went, it was packed. We had a short 10 mins wait and we were seated. Let me tell you, it would've been worth an hours wait. The wait staff are so friendly- they adopt you as family. The food was flavourful and delicious. They don't rush you. They make eating at D. pipas a wonderful experience. It was so superb, that we went back 3 nights in a row! Would highly recommend.

A melhor feijoada de barriga de atum do universo

Quick to be seated as there were only 2 tables occupied at the time. Ordered grilled steak and fries while the wife ordered spaghetti with shrimp. Drinks were quick to arrive but the food took an hour and thats with a near empty restaurant when we took our seats. The food itself was quite salty and felt like more of a chore to eat than a pleasurable dining experience. To cap it off, the wife pulled a hair from her mouth that was in the pasta. We sent it back and declined the replacement as the restaurant had filled up by this time so likely would have taken 2 hours to arrive.
