Lovely hotel very comfortable and has the added bonus of a complimentary shuttle service from the nearby Hilton. The area is residential with lovely houses but if your looking for nearby restaurants/bars it’s a 20 mins walk to the Old Village where you’ll find Le Rendezvous that do the best Goats Cheese you’ll ever taste :) or 30 mins walk down to the Marina.

Average. Would not return. Felt like there were people who returned here with no thought like lemmings. Hardly no parking. No ice machine. Noisy pool.

Amazing hotel, the service, the accommodation, very large bed which was very comfortable, everything could not be faulted. The little extras such as mens and womens dressing gowns, perfect for my small partner, nothing was too much trouble for the staff, I could go on but you get the idea. Will definitely be returning and would recommend it. No child facilities but you have free of charge access to the big hotel next door which has a large play area, children’s pool and baby minding facilities. We spotted a cot being installed which was top of the range.All the reviews are excellent or very good and they are correct.

We have just returned from a 7 day holiday in this hotel. We cannot fault it in any way. The room was spacious , clean and quiet. We had booked half board and would have happily eaten out on occasion - however the high standard of the food in this hotel meant that we were not dining anywhere else, the standard and variety of the dinners was fantastic. Every member of staff was a positive ambassador for this hotel which was actually getting ready to close down for the winter the day after we left but you would not have known this. You did not see any drop in standards or in staff willingness to engage and help you. Top marks to you all and we will be back.

Immaculately clean and a well designed hotel with friendly, accomodating staff and not too far from commercial centre. Not a huge complex. Beds were very comfortable. I would definitely use again if returning to area

Long way from facilities. Transport sporadic. Food repetitive but well presented and cooked. Pool and bar very small. Staff well trained and friendly. Rooms spacious and clean. Bathroom needed attention- cracked, leaking sink and cold shower! Old village nearby but a steep cobbled walk. Plenty of golf courses. Nearby Hilton has a spa and indoor pool at additional cost.

4* is not a good or acurate score for this hotel!!! Its at least a 5* in my opinion!!! By far the best hotel experience I have ever had. The staff cannot do enough for you. The rooms are lovely and spacious and the beds are huge!!! Even for me and I am 6ft 4 and 21 stone. The pool area is clean and well maintained just a little bit chilly when entering the pool but your body soon adapts. And here is the best bit........ The food is absolutely stunning. The chef must have been trained by Gordon Ramsay. A fantastic selection of local and international wines and again the staff are aware of everyone's needs without a prompt from customers. I have had the best experience here and would recommend to any couple who appreciate attention to detail. Can't wait to come again!

This is a small hotel so it was a pleasant change for us. The food is excellent and the service extremely efficient. I would definitely stay here again.

Muy buen trato en todo momento, instalaciones muy limpias y cuidadas. Las habitaciones muy espaciosas ( sobra espacio, la verdad ) y con mucha variedad de instalaciones tanto de piscinas actividades, ... el acceso a la playa perfecto y limpio , muy tranquilo y poco ruidoso, aconsejable si se encuentra un precio razonable

Really nice hotel, great people providing a great service. Had a room upgrade which was very spacious and comfortable. Pleasant walk into Vilamoura to a good range of restaurants. Hotel food was great - had lunch and dinner there. My wife is celiac and the hotel worked well to ensure she avoided gluten.

Lovely, clean, peaceful, hotel in Villamoura. Food excellent quality, breakfast could be better! Pool very small, but not overcrowded, always a sunbed available. Rooms very clean & comfortable. Staff very welcoming & ready to please & friendly. Shame it is not positioned closer to the beach or local amenities ie bars/restaurants, but a free shuttle bus leaves regularly from The Hilton a two minute walk across the road to The Marina. Would definately recommend if you like peace & quiet, no children here during our stay & probably not somewhere to stay for younger people looking for entertsinment!

Lovely alternative for a break especially if wanting to play golf or visit other parts of the Algarve and its traditional restaurants such as in Quarteira.The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. A broad range of options for breakfast and friendly staff. Small downside was the pool area. Small pool and with a maximum depth of 1.1 meters it cant be described as a pool which was a shame.

This hotel is located 25 min walk from Vilamoura marina. It’s immediately beside the Hilton. There’s a shared bus to the town center but we walked most of the time. Very pleasant walk. The hotel is smallish - guests are generally couples of all ages. Hotel is very clean with a very good breakfast. Staff are excellent and very friendly. Facilities are very good but families might want a larger pool and outdoor area. I would recommend this hotel without any hesitation.

We have just returned from spending 4 days in this hotel. After an early morning flight we arrived at 11.45 to be advised that our room would not be ready until 2pm. When we made enquiries about excursions to markets etc the frontline staff at reception were not very helpful and were not able to offer a lot of advice. When we asked about the kids club, we were advised that the club was held in different hotel for which there may have been a cost. There are no shopping facilities at the hotel and we had to walk 10minutes to reach the nearest shop. The pool area is very small and does not represent what is featured in the brochures. There was no pool side/hotel entertainment apart from a barbecue on Saturday nite for which there was a charge of 25euro! The cleaning of the rooms did not take place until late pm(5pm) which was most inconvenient as we had returned to the room after a day at the beach and wanted to relax. We felt most intimated by one of the waiter’s in the restaurant,his name is Paulo I believe. We were made feel we had to rush breakfast as the breakfast bar/coffee machines were closing and he constantly checked our table making us feel uncomfortable. He was most unpleasant and abrupt in manner and displayed no customer care skills whatsoever. We concluded that he should not be. In the hospitality industry and will damage the reputation of the Garden hotel. Rui, another waiter on the other hand was most pleasant and accommodating and had a welcome for guests coming into the restaurant. On the whole, we felt that the hotel is lacking in well trained and knowledgeable staff ,a lack of good customer service as customers pay a lot of money to be treated well whilst on holiday and who want to be made feel special. We will not be returning and wouldn’t recommend this hotel

Wonderful location to enjoy a drink at the bar. Very nice staff fulfilling all your needs. A little bit pricey, but you pay for a good service. The place looks fantastic and has a nice ambiente. All in all I can recommend it.

The location of the hotel is ideal, just sufficiently away from the town centre. It is in a semi-residential area but within walking distance of the marina. The hotel is excellent. Could not fault any of the services, cleanliness or the meals.

Location was good as out of the town but with free shuttle service to beach and marina. Rooms lovely and clean. Chairs in lounge area though were slightly stained - probably after long summer season. Pool not as large as looked in photos and was not warm.

We arrived to be told that we have been upgraded to a poolside superior room, which was just lovely. All the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much to ask.We will definitely be visiting this hotel again.

Very clean. Friendly staff. Beautiful buffet breakfast. Room was ready on arrival even though it was before 12. Staff were very helpful and courteous. Would stay here again. Its a bit of a walk in to Vilamoura but they provide use of a free shuttle service. Very happy with our stay!

An excellent property, staff very attentive and courteous. Food was very good. Very quiet area, ideal if you wanted a relaxing holiday. Only negative it would have been no evening entertainment.

Average hotel. Lacks atmosphere. Staff ok, rooms clean. In a dull location surrounded by villas away from the real Portugal. No good local bars or restaurants within walking distance. Pool will turn everything green (including daughters hair)

Very simple hotel. Rooms are nice and large but not exceptional. Breakfast is very good. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Bar is very basic but garden is quiet and very good for resting and/or sunbathing. Regular shuttle bus to beach and marina makes it easy to get to the heart ov Vilamoura. Overall a nice if basic hotel

Excellent stay, great hotel for a quiet break. No problem getting sun beds around the pool. We opted to eat in the restaurant 3 times during our 5 night stay, great menu and delicious food. Service throughout was great, particular thanks to Rui and Magda who both did a great job in the restaurant at breakfast and in the evening. Room was spacious and extremely clean, we had a pine view on level 1 looking across to the Hilton Hotel and Golf Course. Great shuttle service provided by the Hilton for guests of the Garden Hotel to the Marina and Beach. Overall a fantastic hotel and very relaxing stay, we will be back!

Bonjour , très mal passé avec le personnel de la réception surtout une certaine Nidia , hautaine. J ai payé directement sur le site de l hôtel, et quand je suis arrivé , ils m ont dit que rien était payé . Personnel stréssé et stressant surtout quand vous recherchez la tranquilité. Ils devraient aller a l école de l hôtellerie pour apprendre les manières à avoir à l ' égard d ' un client .

Very enjoyable stay at Vilamoura Garden Hotel. Staff very friendly and overall customer service very good.Our family had two rooms - a king size garden room and twin garden room. Very spacious and clean, with lovely balconies overlooking a residential area and golf course.Hotel is relatively small and because of this there was no mad rush at breakfast time. Very nice breakfasts and very pleasant to be able to enjoy them on the terrace overlooking the pool.A good walk away from the marina (pluses and minuses to this) but courtesy bus available from the nearby Hilton Hotel.

My friend and l are currently staying at this wonderful hotel . We have a suite which we didn't expect and therefore have a room each with a double or kingside bed each ...fantastic ! We can't fault this hotel the breakfasts are superb with lots of choice all foods very fresh . Reception and hotel staff have been lovely and very helpful. The pool area has a average pool however there have not been a great deal of people in it at any one time plenty of sun loungers and it's quiet. Even though this is a family hotel it is not noisy. There is a bar with a cafe service for snacks open from around 5pm til 11.30 pm with a fair selection l believe a vegatarian option also. Over the road at the Hilton hotel a bus will take you to the beach or Marina and it operates most of the day and night.

Just returned from our third visit to this hotel. The hotel is situated towards to back of the resort, so it is very quiet and peaceful. Which is exactly why we like it so much. Rooms are big, decorated in a modern style and very clean. Staff are very pleasant and polite. Breakfast is good with plenty of choice. We didn't go for full board, but did eat in the restaurant on two occasions, the food and service are excellent, the garlic prawns were probably the best prawns I have ever had. Steak is perfect. Pool area is small but due to the smaller number of guests and lack of children running round. You can always get a sunbed. I would say the hotel is not really for families, which again suits us as our kids are now grown up. Lovely holidays by ourselves again. We always hire a car which we park in the basement car park. The marina with its many excellent restaurants is about a mile away it is a nice walk, but after a large meal you don't always want to walk back, I don't really drink so the car does come in handy. We will definately be going back for a 4th time, hopefully soon.

Es war ein schöner erholsamer Urlaub. Ohne Auto ist man nur etwas eingeschränkt. Da unser Hotel in einer Golfregion lag, hatten wir übersehen. Da wir ein Auto hatten konnten wir die Algave abfahren und der Urlaub war super.

Zimmer sehen sehr schön aus und sind sauber, Frühstücksauswahl könnte umfangreicher sein

Bra hotel för priset jag betala. Rummet var stort och rent. Frukosten var god men var lite litet med variation.

Very clean, and was a very quiet hotel, the staff were very friendly throughout our stay. We used the Spa (for 15 Euros each ) to use the facilities and more if you want treatments. The Spa was a 5 minute walk from the hotel. 7Spa was brilliant and also very clean. Local restaurants and bars are at the marine which is about a half hour walk away. Overall we enjoyed our stay, I would go back for a relaxing holiday at this hotel.

Best hotel of its kind we have ever been to. Small pool and large rooms, simple and very clean. Excellent dining room with great food and even better staff. In fact all the staff are first class, professional and friendly, which shows in the atmosphere of the hotel. Special mention for Dina, Rui, Christiano and receptionist, whose name I never learned, for taking care of me when I fell on my head! And to Magda also for attentive service and caring.

Aufenthalt hat uns gut gefallen, waren mit ca. 8 Gästen im Hotel. Wenn alle Zimmer im Sommer belegt sind wird es sehr laut, da das Hotel sehr hellhörig ist.

Sehr schönes Hotel. Außerhalb gelegen, so dass man ein Auto braucht, um an den Jachthafen zu kommen. Hotelteam sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und sauber. Am Pool gibt es jede Menge Liegen mit Handtüchern. Shuttle-Service zum Strand.
