Good food and rooms. Food excellent. 500m from beach but with indoor and outdoor pools. Mainly mature couples and young family. 5 good places to eat within walking distance. Breakfast is excellent

breakfast was great, nice and well kept pool. we didnt stay at the garden hotel but they moved us to the other hotel the spa one. good place for a family trip, was a clean and easy hotel. wed stay there again.

This is a paradise on the Earth. If you consider to spend some time in the south of Portugal, book here. The hotel itself is superb and the ocean is obly 15 minutes away. Food and staff are awesome and the beach restaurants are also within 15 minute walk.

I was forced to stay at this hotel for one night, because a diverted flight. It was great the only negative was that the bath water was cold

Staff was little bit too rude. I needed to iron my shirt in the same evening when I arrived but hotel doesn't have iron, only housekeeping which wasn't available at the moment. Receptionist was rude and ignored my request. Big minus for this. Rest of the things was good.

Really great hotel for families, one thing that I did not like was the food service when we ate in their restaurant and one of the waiters needed a few tips on people skills.

Only stayed the one night following a diverted flight from Madeira to London.
Facilities are great, clean and well presented. Staff are friendly and professional.

Jet2 flight to Maderia diverted and Jet2 arranged for 300 passengers to stay here with about 4 hrs notice! They did amazingly. Everyone calm and pleasant and short stay was very good.

Здание недавней постройки, окружённое высоченными пальмами (бог знает, как им удалось их транспортировать и высадить вокруг).
Общее впечатление очень приятное. В холле - запах интерьерного английского парфюма мандарин и клэри саж.
Персонал приветливый несуетливый, но в меру расторопный.
К сведению отдыхающих.
У отеля нет своего собственного пляжа. Но этот факт не доставил никаких неудобств.
Широкая полоса общественных пляжей с лихвой покрывает отсутсвие оного.
Мелкие детали, которых не хватало:
Ложка для обуви. Chausse pieds.
Кондиционер для волос.
Нет российских тв-каналов.
Из достоинств:
Шикарная турецкая баня ( хамам)
Широкий утренний буфет. Всегда есть глазунья рядом с тривиальным омлетом.
Шоколадные конфетки с миндалем внутри доставляют в ваш номер по вечерам.
Есть напольные весы в номере - немаловажная деталь, для отдыхающих, следящих за весом.

Der Shuttleservice vom und zum Flughafen ist ein Taxi, dass mit 40€ weiterberechnet wird.
Ab dem ersten Oktober wird hier alles abgebaut. Restaurants schließen. JetSki Stand schließt. Schirme vom Hotel am Strand wurden abgebaut.

Do plaży ok 10 minut, dobre wyżywienie. Świetna obsługa hotelowa. Codzienna zmiana ręczników i ścielenie łóżek. Pokoje hotelowy standard 4/5.

Great hotel with an amazing location, close to the beach and with good restaurants and bars nearby. All very clean, comfortable and good size rooms. Nice areas. The outdoor grounds are stunning, beautiful tropical gardens.
Staff very attentive and polite. All in all a great place to stay all year round. A little on the pricey side, but justified by the area - vale do Lobo/ quinta do lago.

On arrival at the hotel there was a notice advising that the Hotel was closed and that we should go to another hotel. Not the best start to the trip, thankfully our driver was able to help us do that. HOWEVER really disappointed in the lack of communication from Expedia-need to think really hard if we use Expedia in the future?!

Das Hotel ist schön, die Zimmer sind sauber, das Frühstück ist okay, jedoch ist das im Internet beschriebene Sportangebot sehr mau. Aerobic gibt es Mitte September nicht mehr, Reiten kostet 50€/h und ist ca. 25min entfernt, Fahrräder kann man für 10-22€/Tag ausleihen und für die Liegen am Strand werden 7-15€/Tag verlangt.
Etwas Loungemusik am Pool wäre schön, aber da das Publikum ca. 60+ ist, ist das wahrscheinlich nicht erwünscht.
Das Hotel ist vermutlich sehr daran interessiert größere Gruppen à 100-200 Personen zu beherbergen, die das Hotelrestaurant und den Pool lauthals belagern. Von daher nichts für Ruhesuchende.
Beim Checkin erhält man weder Informationen zum Hotel (Frühstückszeiten, Spa, Beach-Shuttle, keine Handtuchkarten für den Pool,...) noch einen Begrüßungsdrink.
Definitiv noch Luft nach oben.

Do início ao fim da estadia sentimos que se pode ficar neste hotel durante meses sem sair. Nada faz falta e se quisermos ir à praia, a equipa leva-nos e traz-nos. Apesar de ter havido um contratempo com um dos jantares levados ao quarto o serviço mantém-se 5 estrelas. A minha filha adorou as massas e nós adorámos o artista que animou um dos nossos jantares no restaurante. Ficámos surpreendidos pela positiva pelas soluções para as crianças, desde uma piscina perfeita para os mais pequenos, passando por um espaço com jogos e livros e terminando na grande simpatia da equipa para com os petizes. Simplesmente 5 estrelas. Quando o Google possibilitar a sexta estrela, virei cá actualizar.

This hotel benefits from the same standard as its sister (5*) Hotel Ria Park which is very close.Whist you are able to use all the facilities at both hotel we found The Ria Park Garden to be quite and benefiting from the same 5* service, without the costs.Whists we didnt have a car this hotel offers free transfers to the beach and through use of Uber meant we could get to a number of excellent, sea front restaurants for less than 5 Euros

Stayed in one of the apartments across the back from the hotel. Very modern and spacious. The hotel itself is also very nice although as to be expected it is expensive. Staff all very friendly. Pool area is a great place to relax. Advisable to rent a car as everything is quite a long walk from the hotel itself. Beach about 10 mins walk. Vale do Lobo Praca about 20 mins, but there is a free bus that passes down the road.

I booked a week with family to get away and recharge. This hotel is a little stuck in the 80s, in terms of decor and clientele ("the newly wed and nearly dead vibe").
The pool area is sheltered from the wind and with good sun coverage. There's an indoor pool and a kids club, which is very handy for parents. It is near the beach and the staff are very friendly.
It is however woefully overpriced, meals are €30 which are worth €12, bottled water at €4.50. There's this feeling you're being squeezed out of every penny in the hotel and in the surrounding area, which prevents from feeling the "vacation freedom".
A nice place, and very helpful staff, but will not be returning.

Nice hotel, but the food definitely needs improving. Plus the hotel is located pretty much in the middle of nowhere, so there’s not much to do. Other than that the hotel offers beautiful scenery.

Müssten wegen einem technischen Defekt am Flieger in Faro landen. Wurden hier für einen Nacht einquartiert.
Tolle Zimmer. Schöne Außenanlage.
Essen war nicht so toll. Aber lag vermutlich daran, dass wir um 15 Uhr überraschend mit 200 Personen angekündigt wurden.

Luxus pur.
Wir würden hier als "Notunterkunft" unter gebracht als unser Flug abgesagt wurde. Dies war ein unerwartetes Highlight unserer Reise.
Personal ist super, Gebäude sauber und die Anlage ist traumhaft. Pool, Palmen und den Blick aufs Meer. Lässt keine Wünsche offen.
Wer es lieber ruhig und indoor mag, nutzt den Spa Bereich

Shuttle to the beach and the friendly reception staff makes it worth the money. The gym wasn't up to my expectations - not for weightlifting. The swimming pool area and garden are beautiful. The food choice at breakfast was sufficient . Rooms are big. BUT the cleaning maids are very loud in the corridor and disturbed our sleep couple of times early in the morning - this is why we will not go back. The cleaning maids do not understand that the guests are here to relax and to rest and they make a lot of noise outside the room.

It was a really nice, family friendly hotel that looked after us very well. The staff were friendly and helpful.The only downsides were the slightly isolated location that meant we had to taxi it to all of the local restaurants and the lack of a suitable evening option for children in the hotel restaurant.

Es un hotel muy caro, que al entrar parece ok, pero luego tiene cosas de hotel muy antiguo. Mobiliario que es de hace 30 años, no tiene apenas enchufes libres, ducha por la que se escapa el agua al suelo... El personal es amable.

I had a lovely 3 night stay with my sister in June. As the garden hotel was closed for renovations we were upgraded at no cost to the Hotel and Spa. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious and had lots of options for all tastes. The hotel was ideally located minutes from the beach and many top restaurants. I would definitely stay again.

- leider auf dem Balkon keine Kissen und kein Sonnenschirm
- Kein Auffüllen von Kaffee und Tee auf dem Zimmer
- die Zimmerreinigung könnte besser sein
- Wir waren Ende Mai im Hotel und es gab noch kein Strandshuttle
- der Hotelstrand war noch nicht eingerichtet, es gab keine Sonnenschirme und Liegen

Ria Park Gardens closed for big booking, so we were given free upgrade to Ria Park within same complex. Great staff, very nice hotel, only slight downside was it took 20mins to restore power to room after a fuse blew.

Wir kamen spät Abends an und wurden an der Rezeption freundlich empfangen. Jedoch war schon an der Lobby erkennbar, dass das Hotel schon in die Jahre gekommen ist und länger nichts mehr investiert worden ist. Erschrocken sind wir dann, als wir das Zimmer betreten haben. Alles sehr lieblos und zusammengestückelt eingerichtet. Die Bedienungspanele der Air condition hingen unbefestigt an den Türrahmen herunter. Die Toilette funktionierte nicht und machte alle 5 Minuten ein gurgelndes Geräusch, so dass man nicht schlafen konnte. Ich habe dann den Hauptwasserhahn zugedreht. dann ging es. Wolldecken als Bettwäsche, billige Plastikstühle auf dem balkon und die mangelnde Sauberkeit der Tische beim Frühstück vervollständigten unseren negative Eindruck. Wir sind dann am nächsten Tag gegen Aufpreis in das benachbarte Ria Park Hotel umgezogen. Dort war alles o. k.

Tolles Hotel, konnte am 10.12.17 von Faro nicht fliegen. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt ist war das Hotel geschlossen. Die Crew hat um 17.00 Uhr Bescheid bekommen und alles erdenkliche getan, um uns es so angenehm wie möglich machten. Vielen Dank OBRIGADO

This hotel cancelled a number of my guests bookings days before my wedding and were not apologetic. They were put in other hotels but they where not located near this hotel and so it was completely inconvenient.One of my guests had also booked to stay in to the Ria Park Garden hotel and on arrival the hotel was closed for refurbishment. Worst customer service I have ever experienced! Only interested in guests that are attended conferences and happy to move all the others out!

If you have noisy guests to the side or above you, the hotel won't do anything to resolve the problem. I'm not talking about use of the bathroom late at night or early hours of the morning, mother nature can't be helped but the line is crossed when they stamp across the tiled floors in high heels etc. and are dragging chairs across the floor after midnight and early hours of the morning. NOT impressed with the hotel's response. We've all paid a lot of money to stay here and are all entitled to have an enjoyable time. Whatever happened to 'the customer is king'?

Stayed there for business. Loved the bar in the middle of the spacious hotel lobby. The food is not bad. My room was spacious with a cool small balcony. In terms of location, it is not very far from the beach. The staff though were a bit grumpy, maybe because they did not comprehend English perfectly. All in all it's a nice, clean hotel with a lot of amnenities and entertainment.

Sehr schickes und sauberes Hotel, Allerdings haben wir für das viele Geld doch der Service gefehlt. Es kam keiner am Pool vorbei und fragte nach Getränken. Die leeren Becher lagen überall am Pool herum, die Matratzen von den Liegen sagen auch dreckig aus und Kacheln im Pool fehlen auch.
Das Frühstücks - Buffet war auch nicht so genial- schon bessere in 4 Sterne Hotels erlebt !
Wir würden es nicht nochmal buchen...

Portugal. Ria Park Garden Hotel **** Estrellas
En relacion con el precio, no cumple lo prometido. Un Areal inmenso, donde se encuentran esos dos Hoteles. Uno con 5 Estrellas y el otro (donde nosotros estuvimos) con 4 Estrellas. No hay más! Solo esos dos Hoteles, en donde el huésped se siente rebajado, porque reservamos 4 Estrellas.
En la recepción, te lo recuerdan a cada rato si hay un problema " Ud. tiene un Hotel de 4 Estrellas! " y no fueron amables.
Todo lo contrario, siempre con ganas de discutir.
Uno va hacer vacaciones y a relajarse, pero con ese personal?.....no, por favor! .
Al contrario los mozos , personal de desayuno y cena muy amables.
Nosotros reservamos para 4 personas adultas y con vista al mar. Nos dieron una Suite con dos habitaciones. Una más pequeña sin TV donde alojaron nuestros hijos adultos y otra más grande con TV.
La Suite no tenía vista al mar. Solo palmeras y el Pool abajo lleno de niños ruidosos.
Parecía escuela la cuestión.
En la Suite había solo un baño con WC incl. para 4 Personas. Paciencia había que tener. Mis hijos iban a los baños públicos del Hotel.
Tampoco podíamos jugar tenis. Esas canchas les pertenecía al otro hotel, solo si pagábamos era posible.
El Mar se encontraba muy lejos 40 min caminando en el sol, ☀️no gracias. El Hotel poseia de un Auto grande que transladaba a los huéspedes ida y vuelta. Naturalmente había que esperar como 20 min. y además los asientos estaban mojados, porque la gente se sentaba con sus bañeros mojado. Gracias!
El Hotel poseia en el Mar tumbonas, pero estas costaban 11€ .
La ubicación del Hotel, no era buena. No había nada al su alrededor. Ni un pueblo, ni nada. Por eso ya al darnos cuenta de la mala ubicación de este arrendamos un auto para salir de alli.
Eso fue magnífico!!! .
Nunca más ahí!

Ria park hotel spa is the most peaceful place ive ever been too. Food in the local area is amazing. Gourmet Natural does the most amazing Chateaubriand its just 5 mins from the ria park hotel.

Our 5 days stay was fantastic. Staff at the front desk were helpful. The room was spacious, clean and well-maintained. Restaurant staff are pro-active, polite and friendly.Good quality and well-presented breakfast, set dinner was also nice.Would be nicer with a little more green added to breakfast menu. The area was nice and quiet with a good walk to the beach but you can ask for transportation to the beach.

Staff helpful though not the most friendly of people, hence lost a star. Nice rooms, pool. Opted for sea view on booking, however view was of the pool with tiny bit of the sea in the distance. White plastic garden furniture on balcony and when sat down only able to see the white wall of the balcony. Great car hire through the hotel at very competitive rates without any add ons or excess. Convenient shuttle bus to beach. Have to pay for sun beds and shade. Restaurant in hotel excellent food but lacks atmosphere. Better buffet / restaurant at Ria Park Hotel with shuttle bus, same price. Lots of lovely local restaurants, nice ones on the beach with sea views Eduardos and Izzy's to mention a couple.

No tea or coffee service in room. Only water in mini bar fridge. No breakfast as were told that others had taken 2 so they didn't have enough for everyone. Room ok though. Pools & spa pools were empty or half empty. easyJet's idea of putting us up for our delayed flight!

Faultless bar and food. Great bar actually. Rooms a little boring, but tv channels are good. Nearby beach is great, with nice fish restraunts nearby.
However, i would loosely call it a spa hotel. Its only turned on when you want so if you fancy it it on a whim or immediately after the gym (which is a corridoor away) its not convenient. gym is fully equipped, but there is no shower/changing room. Pool is nice. Ok breakfast. Nice staff.

Stayed bed & breakfast board. Food is good. Hotel decor and condition is faultless. Friendly staff throughout all areas of duties. Short walk to beach. Near to other hotels and restaurants. Can't wait to come again.

Mitarbeiter sehr nett und hilfsbereitLeider muss man für die Liegestühle am Hoteleigenem Strand € 15 bezahlen.Dafür wurden jeden Tag die Handtücher und die Bettwäsche gewechselt, was unnötig ist.

First of all the Ria Park Gardens was closed and after wasting time driving round the area we found the Ria Park where our booking had been transferred. It is a pity that Expedia did not know this.

Just arrived back after a most pleasant stay at the Ria Park Hotel. All the staff were friendly and most intentive. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel itself was clean and tidy and the pool area was surrounded by palm trees and we spent many a relaxing time under them along side of the pool. The only downside, if any, I would suggest hiring a vehicle as it is in a residential area and we had to hire taxis to get to the various places to visit. I would highly recommend the Ria Park Hotel.

Le calme du lieu. Un très beau jardin avec piscine. La propreté et le confort des chambres. Le personnel est très gentil. Je me dois, aussi, de saluer le professionnalisme et la sympathie de Mr. Pedro Maia du département de ventes qui donne une très bonne image de létablissement et qui est toujours à votre écoute et attentionné pour rendre votre séjour encore plus agréable.

le personnel ne vous donne pas assez dinformation , lavabo bouche et sèche cheveux défectueux a larrivée et rien na été fait durant mon séjour , le petit déjeuner était très moyen pour un quatre étoiles et le personnel incompetent , tous les jours jai réclamé a plusieurs reprises le the et je nêtais pas la seule , la terrasse de la chambre était très bien mais pas de auvant ni de parasol donc impossible den profiter , et le room service vous sert le cafe froid et de mauvaise qualité !

Außergewöhnlich freundlicher und sehr aufmerksamer Service, fantastische Hotelküche, sehr gute Sauberkeit, freundliche Atmosphäre, allerdings war das externe Spa House geschlossen (Spa Behandlungen werden im Hotel angeboten) und das separate House Ria Park Garden war zum Zeitpunkt meines Aufenthalts auch geschlossen.

The hotel itself was great, but what really left such a positive impression with me was the friendliness of the hotel stuff. They would really go out of their way to help you make your stay as comfortable as possible. Many thanks to Manuel the bar keeper at the lobby bar!The hotel is really close to the beach (about 10 minutes to walk) and the hotel additionally runs a shuttle there every 30minutes. Nevertheless, it might be worthwhile to rent a car, because there are not many restaurants or a supermarket near by. The hotel restaurants and the restaurants/bars at the beach take full advantage of their monopoly position and charge exorbitant prices for their food. That being said, the breakfast buffet at the Ria Park Garden -which is included in the room rate- is fantastic and I typically only needed a small snack for lunch.I really enjoyed my stay at the Ria Park Garden Hotel and would return there anytime.THANKS!

Service, Qualität, Ausstattung, Angebote und Freundlichkeit sind ok. Es war aber Nachsaison und das Hotel nicht ausgebucht. Bei stärkerer Auslastung, wie bei einer Einzel-Aktion im Hotel zu erkennen war, lässt die Qualität des Service bemerkenswert nach. Störungen sind durch geplante Baumaßnahmen in der Nachbarschaft in Kürze zu erwarten.
