Personal poco amable y dispuesto.
No esperes un desayuno buffet libre, es en el bar de abajo... y algo escaso.
Limpieza más que cuestionable, a nuestra llegada había colillas por el suelo de la habitación. Sin minibar en las habitaciones.
El bar terraza...cierra a las 20:30
El precio se va todo en la ubicación, muy céntrica eso si.

Great location for everything in old town. Can be a little noisy, but not intrusive when balcony doors are closed.
Beds are comfy and the rooms are clean if a little on small side.
Recommended for anyone who wants to spend a few days in Albuferia old town.

What a lovely hotel. We were very happy to have a very friendly check-in, a wonderful view with a balcony, and a clean, modern room to stay in. Albufiera is overrun with drunken British people at night, but it made for fun people watching. There is some ambient noise from the busy night life below, but we found it minimal and very nice. We will stay again!

Leider roch das Bad und dadurch das ganze Zimmer extrem unangenehm. Das Hotel ist sehr hellhörig, wenn der Zimmernachbar schnarcht, ist an Schlaf nicht zu denken.

Situación ideal, junto a la playa , tiendas y restaurantes. La plaza de carga y descarga del hotel puedes encontrarla ocupada por algún Taxi porque está junto a su parada.

Idéalement située à l'entrée de la rue où se trouvent tous les bars, attention car si vous cherchez du calme impossible de fermer l’œil avant 4h00 du matin à leur fermeture !
En ce qui concerne l'établissement en lui-même, les chambres sont simples mais propres.
En ce qui concerne le rooftop sur le toit il est vraiment top mais quelle déception, les horaires d'ouverture trop légers pour pouvoir en profiter et aucune compensation !

Friendly staff, excellent roof terrace & bar, free wi/fi, & a short walk to beach.Will not be returning to Albufeira, its like a mini Benidorm.However if you like that scene, the hotel is for you!!Timemaster.

My friend and i stayed in Baltum Apartments which is close to all bars.
Apartments are kitted out with all you need for self-catering but we ate out.
As a customer you get a discount on breakfast which is choice of continental/full english(€4.5).
Lady on reception was very patient and kind helping me figure the safe out.
Only negative (which im sure is easy to fix) was shower tended to flood, either due to tray not deep enough or seal.
We would book again, well done xx

My daughter and my self stayed in the Baltum for three nights in september.Our stay was very pleasant.Hotel was spotless and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.The.Baltum is in the centre of the old town which is full of character.No doubt we will be back

L'hotel è molto bello e curato,si vede che è nuovo. La posizione è eccellente basta scendere e già sei nel cuore della movida di albufeira, inoltre è vicinissimo alla spiaggia che dista solo 2 minuti a piedi. L'unica pecca che abbiamo riscontrato è che nessuna camera è dotata di frigorifero e non vi è la possibilità di aggiungerlo. L'unico problema quindi era per l'acqua fredda la sera e purtroppo il bar dell'hotel situato sul terrazzo chiude alle 21.30. Fortunatamente proprio vicino all'hotel ci sono dei market che chiudono a mezzanotte

Bellissimo albergo sia con vista mare che con vista città. Personale cortese e disponibile per informazioni. Le camere sono ben arredate e la pulizia è ottima; consigliatissimo!

We chose this hotel for our ~week-long stay in Algarve, and could not have been more dissatisfied. The hotel's staff, from the receptionist to the cleaning crew, and even more so the hotel's manager, absolutely refuse to help in even the most basic of requests. I remind that this is a 3-star hotel, but they offer a 1-star service at best. I'll explain a few issues below, but I strongly discourage staying at this hotel, not only on account of their rude, apathetic and unprofessional staff, but also on the quality of the hotel. It's certainly overpriced by European standards, esp consider the amenities (horrible view, no refrigerator).
Prior to making our reservation, we inquired whether they had rooms with 1 actual bed or a better solution then just loosely combining twin beds. The hotel manager promised us a topper for our beds, which we agreed to. We confirmed on multiple occasions that our room is to have this topper, but upon our late check-in on Friday night, we were given a room with two twins separated and it took the staff 3 days to accommodate our original request. We were promised by the hotel’s owner a refund on the first 2 nights, but then only given 20%.
The attached photos describe other issues we faced. Shower did not properly drain, which was disgusting to say the least. Cleaning staff did not replace toiletries or clean cups on multiple occasions. Receptionist refused to help in most regards, like bringing to our room the forgotten soap, or in making restaurant reservations. Hotel manager was unprofessional and unapologetic and even accusatory. In his late email response to our complaint about the beds and shower, instead of admitting fault or offering a quick solution, he questioned why we had food and wine in our room, when apparently this is not allowed (first time I've ever heard of a hotel not allowing you to eat inside your room).

This hotel did not meet our expectations, as the photographs suggested something much more modern and up to date than it actually is. A 50 year old hotel that seems stuck in time, even the restaurant tables and chairs look unchanged since decades. We did
Not notice how tiny the room is when booking, in case the distance from the bed to the wall when passing through is 40 Cm wide, something that shouldn’t pass basic building codes. This was the first time I could not find a minibar in a hotel of any category. Our room balcony opened directly onto a street where nightclubs blast music till 3am and it was loud despite the double glazed windows. Overall a very mediocre experience.

L'hôtel est parfaitement situé dans le centre d'Albufeira, mais cet emplacement au coeur des festivités en fait également un lieu très bruyant la nuit.
N'oubliez pas vos boules quies si vous avez des difficultés de sommeil.
Pour le reste, le service était très bien et nous a aidé dans nos recherches d'activités, la chambre était propre et son emplacement central nous a grandement facilité l'accès à différents parkings gratuits en périphérie de la ville.

Lovely hotel right in the heart of the old town, short walk to the beach and escalator which takes you up to the start of the new town, bus stops and little tourist train. Taxi rank outside hotel. We booked on room only so cant comment on breakfast but the pizzeria and bar were used and both were good.Roof top sun terrace was open but the bar closed, we went up to look and it looked good, hot tub up there which was working.Cleaners were friendly as was the girl on reception whith curly hair and glasses, she was always very polite and greeted you when she saw you, cant say the same for the other lady, she was always grumpy/rude.We booked a superior balcony room which was very nice, slightly larger balcony that the other rooms and more than enough storage/wardrobe space (two wardrobes and plenty of hangers), large bathroom with window (yay, hate no windows in bathrooms) safe and tea/coffe making stuff. Got a little cold at night but we worked out how to use the heating and there are also blankets in the wardrobes.Over all we would stay there again.

Em relação ao quarto nada a apontar, casa de banho limpa mas a necessitar de um update.
Paguei estadia com pequeno almoço... mas não recomendo pagarmos pelo pequeno almoço pois o hotel fez a cedência deste serviço ao bar/restaurante adjacente ao hotel que é péssimo, com gestão de Nepalenses, que o Português deixa um pouco a desejar.
Começamos por entrar pela porta de passagem do hotel para o estabelecimento onde parece um estaleiro de arrumos e peças danificadas.
Depois apresentam uma folha A4 com 2 hipóteses o pequeno almoço continental ou o English breakfast.
O que escolhi foi o primeiro que foi composto por uma meia de leite, copo de sumo de laranja, 1 fatia de pão de 4mm de espessura, mini bolo caracol, mini croissant folhado, 1 fatia de queijo e 1 fatia de fiambre, 1 pacote de doce e 1 manteiga.
Tudo isto por quase 6€. Muito fraco.
Um Hotel nesta zona devia de ter um pequeno espaço buffet.
Pois com a concorrência nas redondezas vão perder clientes.
Se voltar será pelo quarto, e pelos funcionários.
O Sr. Lopes foi fantástico e as meninas da recepção impecáveis e super simpáticas.
Não voltaria se tomasse em conta o complemento.
Espero que melhorem.

I did go out of season, 25/11/2019 so the bar was closed but for me that was not a problem. The hotel and my room were clean. My room had everything I needed, it was adequate without being overdone. The fan in the bathroom didnt work and the heat exchanger couldnt warm the room up above 17C. The bed was brilliant and after all that, to me, is what really matters. A brilliant shower with plenty of hot water. A wall mounted TV with English news channels. Only one thing concerned me. The electric kettle! If the kettle boils and the thermostat switches off you presume it is off until you turn it on again. Wrong! Once the temperature drops inside the kettle it starts up again on its own. If you empty the kettle without switching it off manually and it starts up again there is a possibility of damage.Value for money I could not fault this hotel and my visit but of course it was very quiet being November.

As other people have said the hotel is in a good location for all the bars and restaurants however the price you pay for that is lack of sleep due to the noise lesson learned on our part for the next time I think. We loved Albufeira however I think we would probably pick a different hotel next time just solely because of the noise other than that this hotel was fine.

We had a Superior room with a small balcony, enough for 2 chairs but no table. It overlooked the town and the GNR station. There was a keypad operated safe for which there was no charge. Plenty hangers in the wardrobe and 3 drawers. I was given 2 keycards for the door which meant we could come and go separately. There was a kettle, 2 cups, tea,coffee and sugar. Bed clean and comfortable. I slept well. Provide your your own tea/coffee etc. as after you use the two sachets youre on your own. Room was cleaned daily & kept well. Shower room (no bath) was nicely and recently tiled. Very smart. Towels changed regularly. Shower gel and shampoo replenished once in the week. The only thing I missed was a non slip mat for the shower. Fortunately I always travel with a small one. As I was there room-only I cant speak for the breakfast. Reception told me I could have one for €7, a reduction of £1. On the roof is a bar with sun loungers and a hot tub. A note for people like myself with dodgy legs. There are 4 or 5 steep steps at the entrance. At the side is a ramp but unly available when the restaurant is open.The whole hotel was beautifully kept. Reception staff were pleasant & helpful. I enjoyed my visit & I will go back.

Perfectly placed and very clean and comfortable. Noisy at night due to pubs close by but thats to be expected and didn't disturb our sleep. Roof top bar and sun beds very welcome when wanting a rest. Friendly staff and tasty breakfast. Close to the beach. Would use the hotel again without hesitation.

Its very convenient as its in the centre of the Old Town, right next to the beach & all the bars & restaurants. Rooms cleaned every day & towels changed every day also. Cleaning lady on 2nd floor very nice & friendly! Reception staff unfortunately dont know how to smile! Bad smell from the bathroom, when you flush the toilet it stays gurgling for ages, the smell was almost constantly there. That would be my only complaint.

Baltum hotel is situated in a perfect location for short stay. It is situated on the lower part of Alberfiere old town. The room was small but it has a large balcony. It was modern clean and was kept clean daily. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming. The amenities (roof bar) was relaxing clean and very relaxing.
The only negative they do no cater for customers with medical needs(diabetic). They did not have a fridge in the room but they made up for it by allowing me to rotate my ice blocks in their restaurant fridge. The beach is just yards away and the bars and restaurants is just seconds away. Very busy night life and lots off activities suitable for all ages. It can be very noisy in the evenings but when the balcony door is shut you can’t hear the noise to much.
I recommend this hotel to single people or couples not suitable for families with younger children because the hotel is quite small. People with medical need should check first before they book that hotel. otherwise we really enjoyed ourselves I would come again if they put a fridge in the rooms

I loved he clean this property was and how helpful the front desk was. Besides this, our room did not come with a balcony or even a window to look outside to the street or anything nice. Our room was super tiny nothing like in the photos and our small window was facing an emergency staircase. The terrace upstairs was beautiful and the view was very nice, but again it closed at 8 so we didn’t get to use the jacuzzi.

Absolutely disgusting apartment. Apart from the filthy couch, cigarette butts, cockroach in the kitchen upon entering the apartment we smelt a filthy smell. We attempted to chat to reception to rectify or move rooms and were only told nothing can be done. This apartment suits someone with low standards of living or enjoys the loud noise in the streets throughout the night. Further more the beds were hard, walls were filthy and bathroom had mould.

The place smelt, it disgusting. One of the rooms has no air on, it’s dirty, the couch is all stained and there were cockroaches. The shower has mould and was not clean, we left as soon as we got there. the staff didn’t help us in our feedback.
Definitely a 1 Star apartment. not recommended.

Chambre correct mais très petite (nous ne sommes vraiment pas difficile mais pour une semaine c’est limite à 2) , d’autre chambre sont bien plus grande dans l’hotel. Aération/ventilation quasi inexistante, la chambre sent l'humidité (obligé de laisser la fenêtre ouverte toute la journée .
Accueil ; très peu aimable (mise à part les 2 femmes de l’accueil qui sont sympathique) , ne demandait surtout pas un service ,une bouteille d’eau ou autre (à l’homme de la 60ène qui reste à l’accueil la nuit/le soir), j’ai rarement vu plus désagréable.. et pourtant mon ami est portugais alors je n’imagine même pas son comportement avec les touristes qui ne parlent pas portugais...nous avons d’ailleurs du lui demander à 3 reprise de réparer notre évier cassé qui inondé toute la salle de bain.
Terrasse calme et agréable, boisson prix correct.
Très bon emplacement la rue est bruyante mais les chambres sont bien insonorisées pas de problème pour dormir avec le bruit.
Pas de parking mais nous avons trouvé tous les jours une place gratuite sur le parking situé à 900 m en plein mois d’août (vous pouvez demander ou se situe le parking à la femme de la 50ène à l’accueil qui elle est sympathique)

Zusammenfassend kann ich sagen, dass es sich um ein cooles Hotel handelt. Jedoch sollte dieses nur zum Partyurlaub gebucht werden, da Albufeira eine einzige Party- und Tourismusmetropole ist. Hier ist es nie leise oder entspannend. Als Paarurlaub meiner Meinung nach ungeeignet.

This a very trendy looking hotel that’s definitely for the party set. If you’re seeking tranquility do not stay in this area. The hotel itself has a nice lobby and an attached restaurant. The location is great and super central to everything. Walking distance to the beach and main part of the town. Keep in mind Albufeira is a party town. It doesn’t matter what day of the week it is. Every night is a Friday night there! Our room was a decent size. Nothing too special but it was clean and did the job. The bathroom was quite small and the shower was ridiculous. It’s the kind of shower only half enclosed in glass, so the water can just spray everywhere because there’s no door etc. We loved the rooftop bar and hot tub area. Great views, sunny and pretty peaceful. It does close relatively (9pm) early so be aware. The staff in the lobby were friendly enough and we had no issues. The biggest complaint I had is the noise level from the hallway. Noise of any kind including just closing your hotel door normally reverberated loudly. Forget about people talking in the hallway. I could hear every word. This seems like it could be fixed with some better insulation and quieter closing doors. Luckily the noise from the street below was minimal but you can definitely hear the bass thumping from the nearby clubs until the wee hours. It’s pretty quiet in the mornings though. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the location was excellent!

Hôtel très bien situé, en centre, à 2 min à pieds de la plage. Un toit terrasse exceptionnel pour ce 3 étoiles!...Un bar, un jacuzzi, des chaises longues...canapés...idéal pour prendre l'apéritif...loin du chahut de la rue.
La chambre était très correcte, pas immense, mais bien, propre, agréable et avec double vitrage, essentiel dans Albufeira et sa vie nocturne.
Le petit déjeuners est à la carte pas en buffet, mais correct.
Il y a un parking payant juste en face de l'hôtel...un peu cher...pour vous garer gratuitement il faudra marcher un peu.
Un très bon hôtel, je recommande.

Tem uma recepção espaçosa com bastantes sofás, o hotel fica localizado mesmo junto ao centro de Albufeira, perto dos bares, lojas e restaurantes. Fica mesmo ao lado da GNR e próximo da Praia dos Pescadores.

Just stayed at hotel Baltum for 4 nights room only.The rooms are spacious and very modern cleaned every day. Roof terreace area is fantastic. All staff were all friendly and helpful.Great location in the centre of albufiera old town though I presume in busier times it could be noisy especially at night.I would definitely stay here again.

Great location. very clean rooms and maid service everyday. Polite and helpful friendly staff. The restaurant has great food at good prices. A little noisy at night due to the location but double glazing is good. The rooftop terrace with its hot tub is amazing and the sun bathing area is well kept and clean.

Couldnt find one fault Excellent hotel, location & weather Only downside is no pool. Had a rooftop jacuzzi but it wasnt open One point is put your air con on otherwise your room will feel damp coz Nov is so cold at night. Will definitely be back again in Nov next year

Great location, very close to beach with a good range of restaurants and pubs walking distance away. Good for single travellers or young couples. Some rooms overlooking adjacent pubs can be a bit noisy at times. Overall, good value for money though and I would stay there again.

Great place in the heart of the old town. But good double glazing meant we weren't kept awake by music and jollies. Nice rooftop terrace, only slight downer was TV was too high in the room and no UK news channel.(we had a day of bad weather and stayed in longer) Apart from that I'd recommend the place!

A beautiful hotel right in the heart of the old town. Roof top bar and jacuzzi room lovely easy access to beach and bars and restaurants well worth a visit would book again .

Location is absolutely fantastic. seconds from bar street and fisherman's beach. Rooms are very small and can be noisy at night.

Checking into the hotel was easy and quick. The location was great. Went into the suite expecting basics - shampoo and body wash. Did not have it. Only body wash was provided. I found out the bathroom drain didnt work, so during my shower the shower was filled with water. Hair dryer stopped working after 3 minutes. I requested ocean view, they gave me street view instead. The value was not worth $140 cad/day. Internet was a good speed and was available everywhere in the hotel.

Good location, brilliant roof top bar with views, jacuzzi and qualified cocktail barman. Comfy beds. Adequate breakfast. Close to beach and shops.

La habitación un poco pequeña, no tenía mini bar, hay que dormir con el aire acondicionado puesto y las ventanas cerradas puesto que siempre hay ruido fuera incluso entre semana, el jacuzzi está un poco sucio tuvimos un problema con el desayuno, reservamos habitación con desayuno incluido y el primer día la chica del bar nos dijo que no estábamos en la lista y debíamos de pagar 4.50€ cada uno , después de hablar con la recepcionista se solucionó el problema, eso si el buffet del desayuno es bastante "pobre" tiene muy poca variedad , adjunto foto

This is a truly exceptional place to stay. I has no pool but it's on the doorstep of everywhere. Your in the heart of the area. Seconds away from everything. The restaurant is the best one around with exceptional food with very cheap pricing. Could not praise or value it enough

Liegt mitten in der Partymeile. Das schöne daran ist man hat alles vor der Tür. Das ist aber auch der Nachteil. Laute Musik und Menschengegröle bleibt da natürlich nicht aus. Bett war trotzdem voll ok. Zimmer vor allem Badezimmer hätte sauberer sein können.

"Hôtel" c'est plutôt une grosse blague, si vous pensez dormir ne venez pas dans cet hôtel. C'est une grosse arnaque, face à la rue la plus animée d'Albufeira certe mais aussi la plus bruyante. Le bruit c'est aussi dans l'hôtel que ça se passe: portes qui claquent, gens sans gêne qui rigolent, crient, parlent plus fort que la musique extérieure!...
je vous le DÉCONSEILLE FORTEMENT! Venez-y si vous voulez faire la fête toute la nuit et encore, ça fait un peu cher la chambre...

Good hotel situated in the Hart of albulfiera city centre. With restaurant on the ground floor. Close to all touristic attractions such as restaurants, bars, clubs, cinema, shops and the beach with water sports.

Friend of ours were staying at hotel baltum. My husband and me were staying some where else in Albufeira, but went there to have some drinks and dinner. Our short experience there was great, the service was good. Our friends also said that they would stay at them again if they would visit Albufeira for another year.

Habitación para dos personas que no podíamos movernos y mucho menos poner la maleta en ningún sitio salvo encima de la cama , no nos limpiaron la habitación a pesar de decirlo dos veces en recepción. No me ha gustado nada salvo la ubicacion

Heel goed hotel in het midden va het oude centrum van Albufeira. Het hotel is zeer netjes en wordt goed schoon gehouden. Het personeel is vriendelijk en zeer meewerkend. In juni 2016 zijn we hier geweest tijdens de EK Voetbal. Met een balkon gericht op het drukke centrum is het genieten van al het publiek op straat. Met gesloten deuren en een stille airco slaap je prima. Een absolute aanrader.

Há muita coisa boa a dizer sobre o Hotel Baltum.
Começamos pela localização: o Hotel está muito bem localizado, perto da praia, perto dos bares e dos restaurantes e perto de toda a animação de Albufeira.
Os quartos são grandes, as camas confortáveis e a casa de banho também não fica atrás. Os quartos são limpos diariamente como seria de esperar.
Os poucos empregados com quem cruzamos trataram-nos sempre bem.
O único ponto mais negativo é o pequeno almoço cuja oferta é bastante limitada.

La habitación normal pero escasa en espacio y con lo justito ni minibar ni aire con funcionamiento correcto y del personal soso y no se entera de nada.Ejemplo mi entrada era a las tres y cargado de maletas me dicen que no les dio tiempo y que volviera a las cinco y así fue .Pero en general muy soso el personal

Wir waren 1woche da, hat uns sehr gut gefallen, einziges nachteil zimmer wurde meistens mittags geputzt... Lage ist top , nähe vom strand und läden. Abends immer vill los und vill krach( musik) die man auch im zimmer hört.

Noisy hotel from both inside and outside. Drunk people can be heard yelling all night long. Wifi doesn't work in any area. Smell of sewage at arrival in the room.

Genau richtig für 5 Tage Stadturlaub. Kurzer Weg zum Strand.Unzählige Straßencafés, direkt wenn man das Hotel verlässt.Zum zentralen Platz nur 100 Meter.
