문어구이 많이들 먹는데 리스본에서 얼마 안있을거면 추천함. 플래이팅도 이뻤음.
그뒤로...3번감. ㅋㅋㅋ
갈때마다 안짜게해달라고 했는데 그래서인지 원래 안짠건지 간이 괜찮았음. 몽크피쉬/포크췩/문어/이베리안포크/감바스 등등 먹었는데 난 다 좋았음. 포크췩은 돼지인데 소갈비맛이...ㅎㅎ
화이트와인도 맘에 들고. 디저트는 살짝 아쉬운데.. 특별한게 없을뿐 요거트케익 쵸코렛무스 맛남.
감바스먹을때 새우내장 제거 덜되서 찌금찌금했으므로 별 한게 뺌. 연휴 전날 밤이라서 사람들 오지게 많아서 아마 주방이 좀 빡셌을꺼라 이해하고 그냥 넘김. 장거리 운전하고 10시에 저녁먹느라 컴플레인 안하고 그냥 대충 먹음;;
관광지치고 서비스와 플래이팅 등 고려하면 가격대비 전반적으로 추천함. 특히 신트라따위 가면 비싸고 존맛없는데가 널렸음....;;

It’s a restaurant with nice environment and right next to Museu Aequeológico do Carmo, but I was let down by the rice with duck (16€). It came with literally rice with shredded duck (no vegetables, no sides, not even decorations), and I don’t think it’s reasonable for its price.

Location is absolutely unbelievable. Right in the middle of Largo de Camoes square. Staff is nice and attentive. Quality of the food is high and price is a align with food quality. Only improvement would be that our Peixe Halo dish had fried fish instead of natural one, which would have been better. The most impressive thing is the fact that our food remainings we ordered them for take out and mistakenly they throw them away. However, they cooked us a second round of dishes for free just to make up for it. That was super nice. Amazing experience overall and the mushroom risotto is another league.

음..대구 튀김이랑 레몬 들어간 리조또랑 수제버거 시켰는데 기대 이하였습니다ㅠㅠ 리조또에서 고수 맛이 강했어요. 그리고 버거도 14유로였는데 이 가격이면 다른 곳에서 더 맛있는 수제버거 먹을 수 있을텐데...라는 생각 하면서 식사했어요.

Staff very kind but overall service very poor (unacceptable waiting time for dishes, low comfort), very bad arroz do Mariscos. Generally too high price with regards to food quality and experience.

La nourriture est bonne, mais demandez votre cuisson des viandes et poissons plus crue qu'à l'habitude. Mon thon médium saignant est plutôt arrivé médium. Le service est correct.

Le restaurant Carmo, situé sur une place très jolie dans les hauteurs de Lisbonne, nous a convaincu par la recherche de ses plats : nous avions pris le hamburger et le porc au risotto d’asperges et ce fut un vrai régal. Le vin blanc conseillé par le serveur était également très bon. Et enfin, l’endroit est très atypique et ravissant !

In jedem Fall eine Empfehlung wert. Wir wurden durchgehend sehr freundlich empfangen und bedient. Vorspeise und Risotto mit Tamboril (Seeteufel) waren exzellent, der Wein (Sauvignon blanc) OK. Da wir draußen sitzen wollten, mussten wir einen Moment warten. Hat dann aber alles gut geklappt und es war insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer und leckerer Abend.

We randomly bumped into this restaurant while walking in the city and did not regret about our choice. A small space with very cozy and classy interior. It made us feel like we were visiting our family and having a family dinner. Personnel very friendly and professional, delicious food, we've ordered vegetable soup and pork. Strongly recommended. This could also be a perfect place for a date.

La descripción corresponde a LARGO DO CARMO, LISBOA, este restaurante no lo visité, por error incluí la Basílica de Nuestra Señora de los Mártires, Lisboa, Portugal. (Este lugar religioso está en el sector de Chiado).
Lugar interessante, muito pequeno, é uma praça que abriga o Convento do Carmo com uma história relacionada ao terremoto de 1755 nesta cidade, a olho este monumento não abre aos domingos e feriados. Existem outros sites talvez para o seu interesse. Cheguei por acaso porque vi do Elevador de Santa Justa.
Interesante lugar, muy pequeño, es una plaza que alberga el Convento do Carmo con una historia relacionado con el terremoto de 1755 en esta ciudad, ojo éste monumento no abre los domingos y festivos. Hay otros sitios quizás para vuestro interés. Llegué de casualidad pues lo vi desde el Elevador Santa Justa.

감바스를 주문할 때 고수를 빼달라고 했지만 넣은 채로 나와서 먹기 곤란했어요. 고수 못먹는 분은 꼭 빼달라고 하시고, 음식이 전체적으로 간이 쎄서 꼭 싱겁게 해달라고 해야 맛있게 먹을 수 있습니다.

Good service, nice servings, everything was prepared quickly even though the place was almost 100% full. The food was properly done, but the taste was rather bland, nothing spectacular to be honest. So I would say, it was slightly too expensive for what we got.

Buenísimo restaurante. El mejor finde hemos comido en estos tres días.
Las croquetas de carne con puré de tomate buenísimas.
Las mejillas de cerdo con salsa, están deliciosas.
Yo comí un cuscus con verduras, ligero pero buenísimo y las verduras en su punto.
Postres caseros y buenos vinos.

Delicious meals, calm atmosphere, traditional and special (non-standard) food, friendly staff. Prices are 13-18€ per meal, thus absolutely acceptable, especially given the nice evening we spent there! Would absolutely return to this place!

La qualità si paga.
Ristorante di altissimo livello, distinto, di qualità, finezza, delicatezza nei suoi piatti.
Dopo aver prenotato, ci accomodano e in pochi minuti veniamo serviti.
Le pietanze sono le migliori mangiate a Lisbona, cucinate con delicatezza e maestria. Uno dei principali difetti della cucina di Lisbona è l'abbondanza di spezie, cipolle, salse, che spesso coprono i veri sapori del piatto. Ho preso un polipo cucinato davvero con maestria.
Vino eccezionale. Il personale parla poco italiano ma quel tanto che basta per riuscire a comprendersi.
La nota dolente è il conto, decisamente salato per Lisbona, circa il doppio della media, ma il tutto è giustificato dalla qualità e professionalità del personale.
Da andarci consapevoli che spenderete qualcosina in più, ma ne vale decisamente la pena

Un restaurante con encanto, limpio y de platos bien presentados. La cuarta estrella se la ha ganado el camarero, Roni, que hasta hizo Facetime con nosotros cuando Laura entró a elegir el postre, muy muy gracioso .
La materia prima, sin dejar de ser buena, no nos pareció la mejor para el precio de la carta.
No obstante, disfrutamos de una cena encantadora, con buen vino y con una atención de 10.

I was in Lisbon for a full week, and this was the only restaurant I hit more than once. The main reasons I did so were the variety, portions, and service. The menu had too many items that looked delicious for me to order in one visit, so once they delivered on taste in round 1, I was fairly confident I would return. I was right. Portions were very generous, perhaps the largest portions I had for petiscos (tapas) style serving while in Lisbon (and I had petiscos pretty much once a day). The service was prompt, friendly, welcoming. The wine is cheap, and the cocktails are huge.
Items I ate:
- Gambas Ajillo: huge portion. Biggest portion of shrimp I had in Lisbon, with absolutely delicious oil/sauce that was excellent for bread dipping. I ordered this on both trips.
- Chicken Wings: very tasty. Not super spicy, but if you love wings you won't be disappointed.
-Sauteed mushrooms with sheep cheese: exactly as you'd imagine. Came out piping hot and melty.
- Roasted chorizo with pineapple chutney: I am a chorizo fanatic, and I was unsure whether I would care about the chutney, but it was a great paring. The chorizo was rich so the chutney balanced it out. Also, enormous portion. See photo.
- Clams: so tender and juicy. Maybe the best clams I've ever had. I also ordered these on both visits.
- Mussels: get off my back, I love shellfish ok?! I remember these mussels being huge and good. I'm not sure what makes me feel this way, but I usually find larger mussels to be the tastiest.
- Croquettes: awesome, hot, great texture. Tomato jam was a hit. And bonus, they came with a small salad, so hey! I ate a vegetable too. What a plot twist.
All of the dishes above are on the "typical tastes" portion of the menu. I didn't even make it to the conventional entree portion of the menu, which had several things that sounded delicious as well.

Cosy et agréable. Quant aux plats ... j en ai mangé un et goûté un autre. J en ai presque eu la larme à l'oeil tellement c'était bon.
Secreto de porco ( ou un truc comme ça avec risotto aux champignons) et le plat de lotte et crevettes avec du riz. C'était vraiment très très bon. Je recommande les yeux fermés.

Really enjoyed the sweet peppers and mushroom appetizers (had these for dinner). So good! I just wanted vegetables so I omitted the cheese from the mushrooms and they were happy to do this.
We got the white wine sangria which was okay, but I’ve had better. A bit touristy feeling but I was a fan overall.

I actually wanted to go to the opposite side restaurant but I didn’t know what brought me here, I asked the waiter what was the best option for seafood dishes, he offered me “ Seafood Rice “ as you see from the picture what I attached.
The taste was amazing
The portion is much more enough
Only please don’t ask chilli oil in case you want it to be spicy:)
Lovely place/ Nice staffs and I would recommend for everyone who love Seafood like me.

Foi uma surpresa completa, procuramos um lugar ao acaso para jantar e encontramos o Carmo. Pratos típicos de bacalhau e carne (Bacalhau à Brás e Lombo à Portuguesa) , vegetarianos (Risoto de Cogumelos) e até mesmo um hambúrguer! Seis pessoas felizes com serviço atencioso, é o que importa. Recomendo a visita!

The table was terribly placed, the service was slow and dismissive, the portions were small, and the food was unimpressive. We spent 180 for two people here on what was worth 50 at most. The dinner lasted three and a half hours before we decided to leave as the last course was very slow to arrive and we wanted to make new year's festivities. The proprietor offered only hollow apologies. By far the worst dining experience in quality we had in Portugal as well as the most expensive.

Good food, the waiter was very friendly and welcoming. The grilled steak with crushed potatoes was interesting. We loved the cheese, the duck rice and the mushrooms, the only dish so-so was the octopus. We had a good rose Carm, served at a perfect temperature. Solid quality for a relatively low price.

Kalte, unangenehme Atmosphäre im Restaurant. Essen geschmacklich enttäuschend, Preise dafür viel zu hoch. Wenigstens die Kellnerin war nett. Kann die vielen guten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Da haben wir bereits für weniger Geld wesentlich besser in Lissabon gegessen.

Really delicious pork dish. It came out with risotto that paired really well with the pork. Pork had the right amount of fat, it was too greasy for me. One of the best food I had on this trip. Bacalhau, salted cod fish was good came with leek puree. It got a little bit salty at the end. The vibe was also good with a bit of quaint feel. One of the group I met on wine tour recommended this place. They followed Rick Steves' guide.

Vriendelijke en vlotte bediening. Ondanks de reservering kwam ons bezoek toch ietwat onverwacht. Dit werd echter zonder problemen opgelost. Heerlijk gegeten.

Estupendo restaurante para degustar platos portugueses con un servicio fantástico y un local muy agradable.
El emplazamiento es muy singular, está frente al Convento do Carmo, y prácticamente no llama la atención pero es un sitio muy muy recomendable.

Kann die guten Bewertungen hier nicht nachvollziehen. Das Pica Pau Fleisch war zäh und es war kaum Gemüse dabei. Die Beschwerde wurde dem Koch übergeben, sonst keine Reaktion der Bedienung. Der Salat Caprese war ziemlich klein. Preis-Leistungs-technisch fand ich es gar nicht gut, da gibt es in Lissabon besseres.

Classy, not fancy...Ask for Fred (manager) and Bruno (waiter), who will make you feel at home instantly. Bar service, menu, table service thoroughly solid. Close to the center, easy taxi access. Look forward to going back.

Excellent! Service très attentionné et aimable, qui nous a fait testé le vin avant que l'on choisisse et était de très bons conseils à ce sujet. Les plats sont vraiment délicieux et joliment présentés : le risotto de la mer était divin, très savoureux et riche en fruits de mer. Le tout pour un excellent rapport qualité prix et situé sur une charmante place animée en face du couvent des Carmes dans Bairo Alto ! Je recommande vivement !

It was a bit slow. We had the tuna and also the monkfish risotto. Tuna was better than the risotto, which was under seasoned. We had to catch the attention of the waiting staff a couple of times.

Incredible cooking. Recommendations: octopus (nice and soft) and risotto tamboril (with a delicious lemony taste and huge fish chunks). Bravo! And if you aren’t allergic to nuts go for the nuts caramel cake!

Entramos por el menú de 12e que prometían en la entrada.
Te daban a escoger entre una ensalada (vergonzosamente escasa) y sopa ( no la escogí). Como plato principal: calamar ( escaso y duro) o arroz valenciano con UNA gamba, verduritas congeladas y trozos de lo que creo era conejo. No importa estaba recalentado y seco.
Vino blanco templado. Lo único bueno fue el pastelito de caramelo, te llenaba lo que no había llenado el resto de la comida.
El sitio era bonito y bien ubicado, los camareros eran atentos, pero el menú es vergonzoso.

This place is a really nice choice in Lisbon. Good Portuguese food (not like the tascas) well cooked and well presentation. Restaurant really accurate in design and service. Don't forget to order an Amaretto sœur to drink. It's amazing!

Pysznie! Przyszliśmy 6-osobową grupą bez rezerwacji, ale dyskoncie znaleść stolik. Przemiła obsługa zaproponowała danie spoza karty dla dzieci (zresztą pyszne), a gdy wino, które kelner nam polecił okazało się droższe niż obiecywał, policzył je po tej niższej cenie :) polecam!

Ambiente raffinato e piatti gustosi; personale super professionale e servizio corretto come tempistiche.
Abbiami ordinato 2 calici di vino, 2 piatto di baccalà (bacalhau a bras e pastéis de bacalhau) e 2 dolci per un totale di 45 euro.
Sicuramente una delle cene migliori a Lisbona.

Nous avons commandé des tapas, et avons été servis une heure après. L'attente a été très longue. C'était plutôt bon, mais pas exceptionnel. Certaines tapas étaient un peu cher pour ce qu'elles étaient.

Ce restaurant est vraiment un délice et un petit conseil --> RESERVATION préalable.
Le personnel est sympa, serviable et les plats sont à tomber.
Les croquettes de chevre au miel chaud wouah.
Le bacalhau a bras était divin
Les vins sont bons, la salle est agreable.
C'est un restaurant que j'ai fait à deux reprises et à chaque fois j'ai été ravi

Samedi soir 21h nous n'avons pas pu rentrer car personne n'est venu nous chercher en 10minutes donc reservez. Mais dimanche nous y sommes allés à 20h sans attendre, le service est modérément rapide. Repas copieux et bons avec prix raisonnables. Cadre très sympathique, je recommande.

Maybe my favorite meal in Lisbon. We sat outside. There was some live jazz not too far away. We had an amazing & cute server who made great suggestions. We split the seafood rice for one, and it was amazing!!! We also shared other items, ending with a decadent flourless chocolate cake. So good!
I will be returning here if/when I return to Lisbon!!!

Cod cakes and monk fish with rice and prawns were both terribly bland. Very disappointing, not sure what other reviewers had. Service is mediocre at best. Restaurant has no contact less and staff were rude when asked about it. Note most of Europe has it including Tartine the local bakery down the road. Overpriced for Lisbon (though cheap in comparison for London). Much better seafood elsewhere.

Delicious food, good prices for the food and especially for wine! Particularly enjoyed the octopus salad and clams - juicy succulent and fresh above all. The monkfish and prawn rice was also tasty. We didn’t have a reservation but luckily were able to get a seat. The restaurant was busy and it was a Monday evening - I would therefore recommend reservations if you want to avoid disappointment especially if you are a larger party of diners.

Excellent food, we ordered the seafood risotto, and the Iberian porc with mushroom risotto, and both were really delicious. The chorizo entrée with pineapple chutney was very good too.
The price is not expensive at all for the quality of the food, the service and the location
It's a shame that we tried this restaurant on our last meal in Lisboa, otherwise we would surely come back

WHAT TO TRY?!
The cod cakes are really crunchy and the blended cod fish inside is really tasty. If there’s one food I recommend to try in Portugal, is the fried cod fish cakes. Good appetizer and great snack option.
The other dish I recommend is the mixed wild mushrooms in a cream sauce for an appetizer. Lots of different mushrooms in one bite. So delicious.
The main I would recommend is the seafood stew with the monk fish. Lots of seafood in rice in soup stew. A common main that Portuguese people like to have.
I like that since we were a big group, we were in a private space. The waiters were nice and they even gave us complimentary wine for the table!
LAST TIP?!
Don’t go easy on the wine! In Portugal, wine is very inexpensive. So make sure you pair each of your dish with a glass of wine!

Was für ein toller Besuch in diesem wundervollen Restaurant! Neben der besten Sangria, die ich je getrunken habe - Sangria Espumante, auf Empfehlung der Bedienung - habe ich sehr sehr gut gegessen. Bestellt habe ich das Meeresfrüchterisotto. Diese waren so frisch wie soeben aus dem Meer gefangen und das Risotto schön schlotzig wie man es sich wünscht. Zur Einrichtung kann ich nichts sagen, da wir draussen auf dem Platz saßen, aber auch hier wurde der Besuch mit angenehmer Live-Musik abgerundet.

Eten was best lekker, maar de bediening en keuken hadden hun dag niet. We hebben meer dan een uur moeten wachten tot ons hoofdgerecht kwam. Mijn aardappels waren niet gaar. Meerdere mensen zijn in de tussentijd opgestaan omdat er maar niemand kwam om hun bestelling op te nemen. Saus was wel heel lekker.

Meilleur repas que j’ai mangé de ma vie probablement. Le petit fromage Quiejo de Azeitão était sublime tout comme les Pasteis de bacaulho accompagné de riz à la coriandre et à l’ail. Food and wine was lovely and the staff was very friendly. I asked for the Risotto al mare only with prawns and there was no hesitation from the staff (floor and kitchen) to make it. Price was also reasonable compared to other nice restaurants in Lisbon. Paid 20 euros for 1 risotto (a proper portion), 1 glass of wine and 1 sparkling water.

Accueil chaleureux même en français par une des serveuses qui nous a recommandé un ensemble de plats parfaits. Tout etait savoureux et bien préparé. Les desserts succulents. L'aguardiente préparée devant nous :verre chauffé et bien servie. Nous recommandons tous les trois ce restaurant.

Stumbled upon this place and - given the setting - expected a tourist trap. How wrong I was. Delicious, carefully prepared and zesty dishes combined with charming service (and charming vinhos) to make for a particularly charming and memorable supper.

Accidentally ended up here after a few other recommendations were busy. I'm SO glad we did.
Carmo were reopening after a refurbishment and didn't have the full menu, but everything we tried was fantastic. The steak was juicy with a great cheese sauce, the wine recommendation that we assumed must be expensive was €14/bottle, and the desserts were light and full of flavour.
This review is probably so positive because finding Carmo was such a relief this evening. But it's definitely worth checking out.

Came twice during my stay. The lunch menu is a really good deal (€12 for 3 courses and drink) but it 'ran out' the first time I came. Pictures are from the lunch menu.

A posh looking place with some slightly rougher seating deeper into the restaurant. Front desk staff weren't interested in us at all but the waiter was friendly and helpful. The food was good, the best thing being the chocolate cake dessert which was really impressive

Service un peu long mais très bon dîner.
La sangria est divine et les lasagnes végétariennes au top !

上菜太慢。。。半个多小时还没上菜。酒水都喝完了。隔壁晚来的几桌都上完了。建议还是去老城区的饭店吃。

Petit restaurant sympathique.
Les plats sont délicieux pour des prix plus que corrects. Nous avons goûtés le vin avant de le choisir. Mieux vaut réserver.

Come-se bem e de olhos postos no Convento do Carmo mesmo ali em frente. Talvez também por isso se possa justificar o preço; de qualquer modo e no final da refeição não ficamos com o agridoce de que pagámos mais do que o justo. Eu sou pecador e por lá paro para alguns "pecados" à hora do almoço!

Nous avons tenté ce restaurant juste à côté de notre hôtel. Lieu très sympathique pas trop guindé. Service très sympathique avec des serveurs très sympas et parlant également français. Plat portugais tres bons et travaillés. Prix très honorable part rapport à la qualité des plats.

Traditional Portuguese food prepared well together with attentive service makes Restaurante Carmo a great place to have dinner while in Lisboa.
My wife and I shared an excellent Caldo verde - traditional cabbage and potato soup garnished with chorizo. We also shared a serving of Gambas Ailol. The Gambas Ailol at Restaurante Carmo was tangy, garlicky and delicious. The shrimp was served with the shell on the tail still intact. This enhanced the flavor of the dish. We ordered bread to soak up the excellent olive oil based broth,
My wife had an Arroz Tamboril con Gambas - Monkfish with Shrimp rice which she really enjoyed. I had an excellent Iberian pork with mushroom risotto. Unlike most pork served in the US that I've had, the Iberian pork was juicy - it had the same consistency as lamb without the gameyness. The mushroom risotto was earthy and very satisfyingly.
We enjoyed our dinner at Restaurante Carmo located in a historic square in Lisboa.

This is THE place in lisbon! Excellent food (I mean it! Sooooo delicous! Highest quality Products and a perfect preparation!) At reaaaaally fair prices! A decent winecard as well. Waiters are Nice and professional. Its a Pity we found this place the last night!
