Wanted to love this more but cant. Simply too loud within the hotel. There is no sound separation between rooms; woke up to tv and movement mmultiple times. Tried for a latecafternoon nap but cleaning staff was slamming doors and shouting. It's pretty bad. Pretty spot and great staff. But just too loud

Nous avons été surclassé en appartement une très bonne surprise. Chambre très joliment décorées, belle vue sur Lisbonne (les appartements sont au dernière étages). Tout ce quil faut pour le petit déjeuner, laccueille est chaleureux, cest très bien placé. Nous y sommes allé en couple et je le conseille vraiment lambiance fait un peu chambres dhotes et pas hotel cest plus chaleureux. Franchement parfait rien à redire !

Très bon accueil, personnel agréable et francophone, même si c'est au touriste de s'adapter. Le principe est super: suite, chambre ou appartement . Kitchenette avec tout le nécessaire, apéritif convivial offert. On se sent chouchouté et pas du tout à l'hôtel. Pour nos enfants c'était l'idéal. Emplacement parfait: pas loin du centre et petit centre commercial à 2 pas pour les nécessités. Les locaux comme les chambres sont propres Nous sommes plus que ravis et avons déjà envie de revenir très vite. Nous recommandons !

The room was very cute and shows the charm of Portugal!! The staff were so friendly and very helpful with questions about where to go and what to do in the city. Tucked away in a neighborhood where you can find local markets and restaurants to explore. Hotel is about 15 min walk to city center. Very close to intendente station! I would definitely stay here again!

Le concept du breakfast dans une cuisine particulière à chaque étage limite à 4 le nombre de personnes; cela peut poser un problème de fréquentation même sil y a 2 cuisines. Point positif : les cuisines sont très bien équipées. Létat des parquets engendre des bruits de craquement vite insupportables

Nous avons beaucoup aimé la décoration de lhôtel très originale, la literie, la propreté. A la lecture des différents avis nous pensions avoir des difficultés à déjeuner tranquillement ou davoir du choix, mais finalement nous avons déjeuné sans avoir limpression de prendre la place dun voisin de chambre. Attention le petit déjeuner reste basique avec des produits industriels sauf le jus dorange. Par contre, il y a des corbeilles de fruits à disposition partout ainsi que des rafraîchissements et des encats à la réception. Tous les soirs un apéro est proposé dans le jardin.Le principal bémol : il a fait extrêmement chaud et la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas dans lhôtel, nous avons ouvert les fenêtres de la chambre mais pas de circulation dair et rue très bruyante la nuit.

Nous avons apprécié la situation géographique de lhôtel pour la visite de la ville; proche du Centre et à proximité des transports en commun. Nous y avons été très bien accueillis, toujours avec le sourire. Le seul point négatif, la salle de bains très petite...

Super concept : moderniser de l'ancien en conservant son cachet, donne un attrait très sympathique. Le petit déjeuner se fait dans une petite cuisine où on peut se faire à manger y compris dans la journée puisqu'il y a un frigo-congélateur, une plaque vitrocéramique, des poêle et casseroles.. Et même un petit lave vaisselle. Près du métro et du fameux tram 28, il permet d'être dans Lisbonne sans être trop cher. L'accueil est super, les services nickels, seul bémols : l'insonorisation (le charme des anciennes bâtisses), le lavabo (le lave mains d'un WC) nettement trop petit pour une salle de bain et l'inexistence de tablettes ou étagères dans la salle de bains. La literie au top ainsi que la douche. Bref un compromis entre hôtel et auberge de jeunesse avec un service hôtelier de premier ordre. Je vous le conseille d'autant que les prix ne sont pas excessifs.

It’s a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms are ok though the bathrooms are so small. The hotel is very loud, someone walking in the room above ours can be heard so loud you can’t imagine. There is no air conditioning so when it gets hot during the day, good luck! Also, the room service people are very unprofessional and enter the rooms without knocking, which led to a pretty embarrassing situation (for them I guess). The breakfast is not worth it either. Plus, there is no wardrobe so your stuff is just lying there all over the place. I don’t know what makes people give good reviews to this place. Will I stay here again? Doubtful.

Petit hôtel charmant et très bien situé. A proximité des trams, métro et des quartiers sympas à arpenter à pieds. Le concept de la cuisine partagée façon auberge de jeunesse a ces pours et ces contres mais c'est au final bien pratique. Je déplore cependant la mauvaise insolation phonique des chambres (vieille bâtisse oblige) ainsi que l'étroitesse des salles de bains (petit évier lave main en guise de lavabo vraiment pas pratique). Je recommande cet endroit pour un week-end à Lisbonne, en revanche pour un long séjour mieux vaut privilégier le confort et l'espace d'un grand hôtel.

I'm actually so disgusted about this hotel, that I'm not sure how to place this comment. The responsible rudeness to me as a translator was noticeable. I was trying to help my friends, that had some issues with the hotel, by providing legal ways to solve it and I was denied completely and rudely. Besides the hotel responsible wanted to overcharge my colleges with a 2000€ fee, because of repairs, denying an expert from their own insurance company to go there and evaluate the case. Knowing that, in portugal you should only be charge for fee up to 500€. They blocked my friends out of their room, by declining their card, forbidding them to access their stuff. After I said that it was a possibility that my friend couldn't get the money at the moment, she just replied: "Well, if they want to have access to the room they need to pay. The hotel won't take any responsibility in this matter." What I politely said that we would be back with a policeman, for what she replied: "Do what you want..." with a very arrogant posture. Don't recommend, there way better places to stay in Lisbon and way cheaper.

Eventually we had to go and collect their luggage with police escort. Please be aware of how they conduct their business and make sure that you contact local authorities should any problems arise.

Einfach Top!! Mit viel Liebe ins Detail ist dieses alte Wohnhaus in ein Hotel gewandelt worden ohne den Altbau-Charme zu verlieren. Hatten ein großes Zimmer im 4 OG das einfach tip top sauber und arrangiert war. Das Frühstück ist einfach aber völlig ausreichend um gestärkt den Tag zu starten. Die Mitarbeiter sind stets freundlich und hilfsbereit und bieten on Top tolle Tips für Locations weg von klassischen Touri-Spots. Das Indy-House liegt in toller Lage. Metro, Restaurants, Altstadt und besagte Tram 28 sind äußerst gut in wenigen Fuß-Minuten zu erreichen, die Umgebung ist wo Einheimische wohnen - einfach schön mittendrin. Wir kommen wieder nach Lissabon und wissen eigtl. schon jetzt wo wir absteigen werden. Absolut weiter zu empfehlen!!

We spent four nights in The Indy House and loved it! The rooms are neat, clean and perfectly located in the city. Furthermore we enjoyed the concept for the breakfast in the shared kitchen. Overall a great and affordable experience, absolutely recommendable!

Of four nights, I really enjoyed the location, the design of the rooms also as the common areas too. It is an amazing place with really good oranges from the garden, great staff and also the cleaning is impeccable. Some problems that could be thought in advance as in the room we stayed, we were able to hear the people at the room next door, what is really unpleasant experience, also the sink was way too small (smaller than and airplane sink) and the breakfast kitchen is a great idea, I particularly enjoy it, but the when more than three people go to the breakfast at the same time, things become chaotic and it's also too small that we had to have breakfast standing up for one morning and the other day we moved the table and requested an extra chair. And the door handles do not move, so sometimes you have to shut the door a little stronger what makes a lot of noise. In general even with the cons I would stay here again specially if some of this things would be improved ( also the nice garden would be opened for the guests).

We had a very nice stay at Indy House with our family of two adults & two kids of about 10. We had an entire appartment to ourselves, with 2 bedrooms, a livingroom and kitchen, and 2 bathrooms, on the top floor. The price was very agreeable, although at a heavy discount. The breakfeast was served in the room at our chosen time. It was simple, but nice. We felt like we were on a holiday in our own appartment. The staff was friendly, although we actually had little to do with them, we managed for ourselves. We were very satisfied with the cleanliness, which is important for us. The hotel was very special with regards to the interior, kind of eco-friendly and re-use-inspired. We liked it. One night the fire alarm went off, twice, on a lower storey. I was concerned, because I'm unsure how well the emergency exits are, and the hotel seems very old. Also, the narrow streets of Lisbon seems lika a nightmare for the firefighters... I would check this out next time. Even so, I would gladly return to Indy House with my family.

Our stay at the moment is great, there's a very home-like and cozy feel to the place. The room has fresh fruit, free water, a big TV and nice modern furniture. The bathroom is small but modern and very clean. The kitchen next to our room is fully equipped and breakfast each morning consists of a nice variety of fresh products. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended for couples.

Hotel im alten Stil erhalten, aber technisch auf dem neuesten Stand, Personal super freundlich, leider spricht man nur englisch, französisch und natürlich portogisich. Dass coolste ist aber, das Frühstücksei muss man sich selber kochen oder braten. 100% Weiterempfehlung von uns.

Gute Lage für einen Städtetrip. Bis zur Metro 5 Minuten und bis in die Stadt 20 Minuten Fußweg. Ansonsten alles sauber, aber sehr hellhörig.

Wir haben das Indy House im Internet gebucht und sehr gehofft dass die guten Bewertungen echt sind. Weil wir uns nur drei Tage in Lissabon aufhielten um später nach Albufeira weiter zu fahren, suchten wir eben nach einer netten und günstigen Übernachtungsmöglichkeit. Wir sind der Meinung, dass das Indy House das bezauberndste Motel ist, dass wir je kennengelernt haben. Das gesamte Haus scheint kernsaniert zu sein wobei alte Elemente kunstvoll erhalten blieben. Unser Zimmer (103) bot uns und dem Gepäck ausreichend Platz. Das Bad ist modern, sehr schön und geräumig: nur das Waschbecken war eher ein kleines Handwaschbecken. Das Bett fanden wir gemütlich auch wenn knackig hart. Der Internet-Fernseher war perfekt positioniert und wir konnten noch ein wenig YouTube sehen. Top WLAN Verbindung. Auf dem Zimmer war eine kleine Kaffemaschine und Tabs, frisches Trinkwasser, frisches Obst. Jeden Tag wurde das Zimmer gründlich geputzt und die Handtücher gewechselt. Frühstück gibt es in einer wirklich sehr sehr kleinen Teeküche auf der Etage. Sollten alle Gäste gleichzeitig frühstücken wollen, muss jemand den Schiedsrichter machen ;-) Morgens wurde um 7:30 Uhr frisches Brot, Semmeln und süße Teilchen angeliefert. Im Kühlschrank gab es Orangen, Milch, Butter, Eier, Marmelade und Orangensaft. Müsli und Cornflakes stand immer zur Verfügung. Auch eigenes Essen konnte man im Kühlschrank aufbewahren. Jeder hat nach dem Frühstück sein Geschirr selbst abgespült: das hat offenbar immer gut funktioniert und alles war sauber. Wo Sonne da auch Schatten: 1. Alles ist sehr sehr hellhörig und man hört wirklich alles. Ich hatte aber den Eindruck, dass sich jeder Mühe gab, unnötigen Lärm zu vermeiden. Nachts war es totenstill. 2. Wenn man zum ersten Mal in Lissabon ist und auch noch öffentlich unterwegs ist, dann findet man das Indy House sehr schlecht. Kopfsteinpflaster und steiles Bergaufgehen erschweren das Trolley ziehen sehr. Am besten mit dem Taxi anreisen/abreisen. Öffentlich geht es auch gut mit Metro,Tram und Bus wenn man sich ein wenig auskennt. Das Personal ist sehr nett und überaus hilfsbereit gewesen !!! Wir können das Indy House empfehlen UND wir sind 41 und 54 Jahre alt und keine Teenager mehr ;-)

Fantastica esperienza. Camere nuove, molto pulite e colorate. Abbiamo visto sia appartamento molto spazioso con cucina attrezzata (compreso sale e olio) e sia una singola stanza che aveva anche un salottino all'ingresso. Colazione: nell'appartamento ti portano loro in camera un vassoio con tutto, uova, pane, latte, succhi di frutta, dolci, prosciutto e formaggio; per le stanze, su ogni piano c'è una cucina piccola da condividere con le altre persone del piano, entrano al massimo 2/3 persone, ma conviene arrivare presto per avere più scelta (solite cose da mangiare del cesto dell'appartamento). Noi se trovavamo la stanza occupata prendevamo le cose e mangiavamo in camera. Ottima l'idea se si vuole cucinare anche altri pasti in quanto è attrezzata. L'univa pecca di entrambi è il bagno in quanto il lavandino sarà grande 40x20cm...troppo piccolo pure per lavarsi i denti. Ottima la vicinanza alla metro 5min a piedi o del tram 28e. Personale giovane, cordiale, sorridente e super disponibile.

Clean. Nicely renovated mixing traditional Portuguese architecture and style with modern zen feel. Flamingo wall paper in the room was tacky like Miami meets Lisbon and didn't fit. Bathroom sink was way too small (maybe smaller than on airplanes) to do anything: while brushing teeth, washings hands or face, the whole floor gets wet and so do you! Staff is friendly and informative.

Pro: Beauty of building Quality of the bed Commons rooms The concept, mix between hotel and hostel. Cons: Noisy, doors are not sounds proof at all. No furniture in the bathroom.we had to put our toilet bag on the toilet and on the floor. Air cooling activated with the windows opened when entering the room. Breakfast food quality was low. Cage eggs, low cost juice, etc Travels tips given by the receptionist: take the tram and do a tuk tuk tour... I understood the hotel is new so hopefully they will fix those smalls issues.

Incredible stay at The Indy House! I would recommended this lovely hotel to everyone. When we checked in, the hotel was just open for a few days. It's a beautiful iconic building in the old centre of Lisbon, renovated but kept all the old elements. Stunning! The room was super clean, and the styling is really well done. Highly recommended to everyone who is visiting the city. Great location, helpful staff, modern quirky rooms and very clean!

Agradable estancia de 2 noches (20-21 agosto). Habitación amplia y moderna, decorada de manera alegre, diferente a la habitual decoración sobria de hotel. Echamos en falta alguna butaca o mueble auxiliar, así como un mueble donde colgar la ropa. El hotel llevaba abierto 4 días, así que entendemos que pudiera faltar alguna cosilla. El baño era pequeño pero funcional, la ducha estaba muy bien. El desayuno se desarrolla en una zona común, una cocina donde ponen a tu disposición todos los alimentos y utensilios necesarios para cocinarte lo que quieras. El personal fue muy amable. Es un edificio antiguo reformado por dentro en una buena ubicación, teniendo varias paradas de metro en las cercanías. Se puede aparcar cerca, pero es de pago.

I stayed in the Indy House last summer and it was absolutely amazing! The rooms are stunning (yes, they aren´t the biggest but this was not a problem at all). The staff are so friendly, the breakfast is good and the location is also perfect. I honestly can´t recommend the indy house enough. By far one of the best places I have ever stayed!!!! 10/10

Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr zuvorkommend und nett, das Hotel ansich, anders und kunterbunt. Trotzdem harmonieren die ganzen Farben. Saubere Zimmer.

Hotel was a renovation of an old building. They did it in a funky and pleasing way. I wasn’t crazy about the toilet bowl decor on every floor of the building. Also, I had to sleep with the bathroom door shut in my room since the toilet had a stinky smell. Breakfast was served in the lobby and the coffee machine was a bit challenging and I watched every guess that woke up to it look confused. They are definitely aiming to please but I think they need to look around and observe the guests. The stinky toilet bowl in the room was my biggest issue other than that things were fine.

I stayed here for 2 nights, Sunday to Tuesday. I had a smaller room but even so the accommodation was perfect to be a base to explore Lisbon! It's really easy to get to from the Metro and Tram system too. Really pleasant breakfast every morning and although I didn't make the most of it there is a "happy hour" in the evenings too. Room was very well maintained and tidy when I arrived too. Comfortable beds and en-suites were great. Don't really come here for a view though. All in all, amazing stay and would love to come back!

Sehr nette Unterkunft und Personal, alle wirklich bemüht, dass man einen guten Aufenthalt hat. Zimmer sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Frühstück sehr gut, die Lage auch. Aber das Haus ist hellhörig, aber das ist auch Teil seines Charmes, alte Holzbohlen..

Eine sehr liebevoll und speziell eingerichtete Unterkunft, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, sehr sauber!!Nachmittags - Goodies wie Obst, Kuchen, Joghurt und alkoholfreie Getränke zur freien Entnahme.Für Alleinreisende immer die Möglichkeit nette Gespräche mit den Gästen am großen Frühstückstisch zu führen, in jedem Stockwerk noch Extragemeinschaftsküche für alle Zimmer eines Stockwerks, um etwas zu kochen.Netter gemütlicher Gartenbereich auch für Raucher.

Boa localização e acomodações muito confortáveis espaço amplo e com ótima ventilação. Roupas de cama e banho de tecido incorporado cheirosas e macias. Tudo muito limpo. Café da manhã farto, além de deixar disponível café e chá, frutas e bolo durante todo dia. Para finalizar atendentes muito simpáticos.

Sehr gut gelegenes liebevoll geführtes kleines Hotel mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten wie beispielsweise die „Happy Hour“. Die beliebte Linie 28 der Straßenbahn hält fast um die Ecke und auch die Metro ist in max. 5 Minuten zu erreichen.

위치는 별로입니다. 로컬들이 많은 위치에요. 여자 혼자 간 입장에서 안전하다고 느껴지지 않았어요... 좀 무서웠습니다. 그렇지만 주변에 큰 마트도 있고, 지하철역도 멀지 않습니다. 리스본에 오래 있는다면 머물만 합니다. 관광객이 많은 호텔이 많은 위치보다, 로컬이 살고있는 리스본을 느끼고 싶다면 이곳을 추천합니다~!

We loved the weird style of this place, the mixture of modern and old stuff is pretty cool. Theres also a happy hour with wine and beer and a few snacks which we really took advantage of before going out for dinner. The room was perfect for two, we had a big balcony and the bathroom was a good size. We had everything we needed.The only negative thing I have to add which doesnt directly affect this place is there shuttle service of 17 Euros, we had reserved to leave at 830 and the guy never showed up so we ended up leaving with a taxi which is alot cheaper.

Está muy cerca del centro de Lisboa. La zona tiene sitios muy cerquita para cenar, comer y tomar una cerveza.El edificio está rehabilitado con un estilo ecléctico muy chulo.El desayuno está incluido y el personal es muy amable y cercano.Sin duda lo recomiendo y si vuelvo a Lisboa repetiré.

I really enjoyed my stay at Indy House, very friendly staff. Clean rooms, very good breakfast at the reception, which if it is full, has a lounge where we could sit and enjoy breakfast and even has a big TV. I will definitely return to this house. Highly recommended

Très bel hôtel accueillant, atypique et confortable avec un service de qualité et de belles attentions.

Établissement de bonne tenue avec deco tres originale. Nous étions en appartement au 5ème étage, avec une grande pièce principale, une chambre correcte, mais une salle de bains très petite et sans porte serviette. L’hotel est dans une très calme, pas très loin du métro et des bus.

Les gens qui nous ont reçu étaient très sympathiques et recevants. Endroit agréable à recommander, et bien situé.Déjeuner à la bonne heure, soit 7h30, lorsque nous prenons l’avion, c’est pratique. Chambre parfaite, par contre, nous avons trouvé la salle de bain, particulièrement petite.

I had the most amazing experience at the Indy House. They knew it was my birthday so upgraded me and my partner to the suite with breakfast brought to the room each morning. I was so moved by this kind gesture. Free drinks in the afternoon is a great idea and a lovely setting of there outside seating area. All in all a fantastic experience. I can't speak for the shared facilities, but the staff, venue, the location was all in all a 10/10 experience. Extremely good value for money.

A very friendly and cosy place, in OK distance to city center. The standard-double-room has a very nice bed. The room is small, with no place but your suitcase to store your luggage, and the bathroom is too small. You can't even have your toiletbag out there. Bring ear-plugs as you can hear EVERYTHING that is going on in the house. We loved the happiest hour with free and tasty beer, wine and chips.

Overpriced. The night that we booked was €135 for a tiny room with an even smaller bathroom. Breakfast was very basic. Woukd not recommend unless for just a night or two

Beautiful property and rooms - one of the nicest places I’ve stayed in Europe. Metro is nearby and Rossio Square is an easy 10 minute walk. Some pretty cool lookouts nearby too. Super friendly staff and the free nightly happy hour is a nice touch!

It was a pleasant stay at this hotel. Although location was little out of city center but it was within distance. Over all, nice hotel.

Ambiance très communautaire, c'est plus une auberge espagnole qu'un vrai hôtel mais on se sent comme a la maison avec la cuisine a chaque étage, le salon lounge et l'apéro offert le soir pour se réunir en terrasse.

Hôtel incroyable - super original avec une belle touche artistique! Staff très sympa, chambres petites mais cosy et petit déjeuner excellent! Ils offrent même l’apéritif à tous leurs clients en fin de journée. Situation très bien, proche d’une petite place avec de l’animation et proche du métro. On a adoré!

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel pour un week-end. Nous avons apprécié le style de l’hôtel et le côté très chaleureux. Les chambres sont petites mais il y a tout le confort nécessaire. La salle de bain est minimaliste mais aussi tout est propre et de bon goût. Les chambres sont un peu bruyante (parquet) mais la rue est calme et nous avons pu dormir même la fenêtre ouverte. Je recommande cet hôtel pour sa situation, sa décoration et son personnel discret et sympathique. Nous reviendrons c’est sûr ! Petit déjeuner en libre service jusqu’à 12h. On a adoré ! Merci

Wir waren 3 Nächte im Indy, der Name ist da Program. Abseits der normalen Touristenströme ist das geradezu eine Perle von einem Hotel. Die Zimmer sind klein und sehr ringhörig aber das Konzept des Hotels hat uns sehr überzeugt.

An excellent hotel. Great location, clean and pleasant environment, helpful and happy staff and overall this place contributed to a lovely Lisbon experience. I’ll be back.

Nous avons aimé la déco, l’ambiance, le service, l’amabilité du personnel, le fait de pouvoir aller dans plusieurs endroits pour le petit-déjeuner, très agréable aussi de trouver à n’importe quelle heure dans le hall des boissons et Gâteaux. Par contre la chambre était trop petite et surtout sans placard .... mais jolie déco.

Mal ein etwas anderes Hotel. Etwas Vintage, mir hat es super gefallen. Das Waschbecken war vielleicht eher Deko, aber was solls. Ich würde dieses Hotel wieder buchen, auch die Lage ist toll, die Metro nur wenige Schritte entfernt.

Clean comfortable room. Great bed. Wonderful staff. It’s a little ways from old town to walk but the metro stop is close and can take you there.

Toller Charakter, sehr einzigartige Einrichtung! Auch der Gartenbereich sind sehr schön und die happiest hour, die esjeden Tag gibt ist super!Unser Zimmer war sehr klein, aber hat natürlich für die Tage gepasst :) Frühstück ist sehr simple. das Personal ist super hilfsbereit und berät gerne.

It was an amazing stay. The receptionists welcomed us very well and as we arrived before check-in time in the morning they offered us breakfast which was very kind of them. Super clean room, highly recommend and we definitely be back.

Our stay at the Indy house was wonderful. We we given a complimentary upgrade at the time of check-in which was an added bonus. The room was clean and well decorated. The hotel provided a complimentary drink at one of their sister restaurants as well as a free daily happy hour in their court yard. The location was close to major attractions.

Hôtel très beau avec un cadre agréable. Par contre, l'isolation des chambres laissent à désirer... On entend tous! Personnes qui se déplacent dans le couloir, bruit de pas des chambres voisines. Pas eu moyen de dormir correctement dans le calme...En plus de tout cela, la climatisation n'a pas fonctionnée depuis deux jours. Personnes cherchant le calme et le repos, passez votre chemin. Le personnel de l'hôtel est très accueillant et à l'écoute de ses clients malgré les problèmes de bruit.

Me encantó este apartamento por todos los detalles que tenía. Lo que más me gustó fue lo concienciados que estaban con el medio ambiente, tenían los cuatro cubos de basura para reciclar que cambiaban a diario, el papel higiénico era reciclable, los geles de ducha eran naturales... La cocina estaba totalmente equipada y con todo los utensilios que pudieras necesitar. La decoración es preciosa y cuidada al detalle. El desayuno te lo sirven en la habitación a la hora que uno decida y es fantástico! Muchísima variedad y todo buenísimo! Sin duda un sitio con mucho encanto donde alojarse. Muy buena relación calidad precio.

The Indy House was a great experience! We arrived early in the morning and they let us rest in the lounge for the morning. They also had our room ready for us 4 hours earlier then expected since they knew we were waiting. They offered us free breakfast and recommend places to go during our stay. Our room is clean and spacious enough for 2.

Hotel aconsejable, limpio y muy tranquilo. Lo único negativo es el sistema de almuerzo. Una pequeña cocina con cuatro sillas a compartir con los demás huéspedes del hotel.

Hôtel très original. La chambre était petite mais avec un balcon. Super bien reçus, l'hôtel offre l apero tous les soirs de 17h à 19h. Parfait pour commencer la fête. Le petit dej fait penser à une auberge: on vous laisse tous les ingrédients pour le composer vous même, comme à la maison. Parfait pour un voyage détente avec ma chérie.

Vi gillade inte på det sätt frukosten serverades, det blev väldigt rörigtefter som vi människor är olika en del vill ha varmt en del vil ha kalt, en del vill ha stökigt andra inte.

Bellissima struttura, personale accogliente e disponibile, posizione comodissima sia per gli spostamenti a piedi sia per prendere mezzi pubblici (tutti: metro, tram, autobus), assolutamente consigliato. Unica pecca (trascurabilissima) il lavandino del bagno, troppo piccolo anche per lavarsi i denti. La colazione è buona e abbastanza ricca, anche se non particolarmente prelibata. Ci si serve da soli in una delle cucine al piano e ci si sente davvero a casa

Absolutely fabulous !! Really quirky ,beautiful ! Apartment was immaculate ! Bed super comfortable ! Staff were all lovely ! Cold drinks and small snacks available in reception ,free of charge ! Can't recommend The Indy House highly enough..Breakfast delivered to your room any time between 07:00 & 12:00 ! Enough to feed an army !! We WILL be back !!

Accueil était parfait, le service du petit déjeuner à létage était bien, mais peut saméliorer, par exemple pour faire une omelette ou un œuf sur le plat, il manquait une poêle. Hôtel est parfait pour un court séjour.

We had a super-relaxed stay at the Indy-House and cant recommend it highly enough. The room was light, airy, stylish and comfortable, with a very comfy bed. It wasnt large, but was perfect for what we needed. Reception were friendly and helpful- with ideas for travel and also storing luggage before/after check in.The garden is delightful, and free wine and beer between 5.30-7 was much appreciated- as was the constant supply of sandwiches/pastries /water/tea & coffee in the lobby. The help-yourself-breakfast suited us just fine as it meant no rush in the mornings, and having access to a kitchen and fridge etc meant we could buy and make food for other meals too.Its 15 min walk to the centre of town, and a great base from which to explore Lisbon.

Really accommodating, we arrived after midnight and the desk staff were really informative. Room was clean, and practical. Had a bathroom with a shower. Can come and go as you please as long as you remain respectful of other guests, and the location is ideal. There is also a luggage room for when you check out. There are also communal kitchens where you can store and cook your own food. It’s like a home from home. Only downside was the curtains or lack of. The room (410) had wooden panels and whilst the left hand window closed to, it didn’t block out the light and the right hand window wooden panels didn’t close at all.

Lovely place, friendly staff, amazing prices, great location. Plus free beers. When I come back to Lisbon, will stay here again, no doubt. Thank you, guys!

Very nice hotel with detailed design ideas to combine vintage and modern elements. Young and friendly staff. Our room was nice and clean. Yes, as other guests wrote, the bathroom sinks are super small and there was no wardrobe. The old building is a bit loud (you hear other guests), but for that problem the only solution are earplugs :) Following suggestions we would have to even improve the experience quite easily: - the kitchens could have a small manual on the pin boards on how to deal with the used dishes and tableware. There was a bit confusion among the guests if the dishes should be put in the little dishwasher, washed by hand or just stacked next to the sink. Also there could be more sponges to clean the pots after use. - There is a very nice garden/terrace in the backyard. Unfortunately there are just old broken chairs to sit - a bunch of simple deck chairs or loungers would give the opportunity to relax in the sun after a day in the city. Also the plastic roof is a bit odd on sunny days. - Our room had a balcony, a few chairs would have been nice there as well. Thanks a lot, we would come again!
