Good food , best meal we've had. Forgot to take pics except for pudding. Pricey, but everywhere here is. Nice to sit outside.

Couldn't tell you what the food is like as when we asked if they had a table the waiter checked with the maitre de he was loudly and very rudely told " you know we have no tables" a very unpleasant and unprofessional attitude , a simple we are fully booked would have sufficed . So i will never know what the food is like but i hope it is better than the staffs attitude !

Vi fick ett bord för två precis vid ingången. Det var det enda som var ledigt sa man (lokalen var knappt halvfull). Vi beställde sedan en huvudrätt som var bra på alla sätt, men när vi ätit färdigt var vi som luft för personalen. Vi väntade på frågan om dessert, men den kom aldrig. Vi väntade säkert 15-20 minuter och blev riktigt sura och uppfattade det som att man ville bli av med oss för att få bordet ledigt. Detta trots att halva lokalen var tom (vi kunde alltså ha fått ett bättre bord när vi kom). Därför valde vi att be om notan och betala och gå. Dit går vi inte fler gånger.

Realmente um restaurante 5 estrelas, fui muito bem atendida, a comida é maravilhosa e o preço muito acessível. Um lugar que pode ser para comemorações especiais ou apenas para uma refeição agradável e saborosa, você realmente terá uma experiência muito boa. Pelo menos a minha foi e com certeza voltarei assim que possível. Recomendo!

The food was lovely. Service was overly fast with a starter and main for 2 served in 45 minutes.
Two many waiters interrupting the meal, asking how the meal was, ruining the experience and enjoyment of the meal.

Brought 3 generations of the family for a meal whilst on holiday. Everyone's food was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend.

Truly delicious food, some of the best I've had anywhere. If you're in Portugal I fully recommend a visit here if you can make it. Larger groups will likely need to book. Well worth a visit for anyone.

Very poor quality restaurant. Can’t understand why so many people have rated this place so highly. We had no chance to digest our food between courses and were in and out in 40 minutes. Vegetables were the same for each main dish, including the curry’s, which were prawn or chicken slopped into the same ‘chip shop curry’ type sauce. Two stars because the steak was half decent. Our worst meal in a week on the Algarve.

We were offered water and accepted and of course it was bottled water at a charge of EUR4. There were four of us and we asked for bread and were given the ‘bread starter’ which also had a chickpea salad and tuna dip, which we didn’t want. Two rolls so we got half a roll each, but cost another EUR10. The mains were good and tasty but when the bill came, they had calculated it incorrectly by +EUR5 (I double checked with my phone calculator). I got the impression that, with (older, quiet) kids, they just wanted us gone so I just paid up but just beware that they may add to your bill, watch them carefully! I can’t see myself returning, enough other restaurants around. Two stars because I really don’t appreciate the way they operate...

Restaurante correcto en medio de la “rambla del pueblo” los camareros super atentos, la carta algo corta pero de mucho nivel, el precio es de unos 25-35€ por persona! El espacio es correcto pero sin más, ni vistas ni demasiado encanto en particular! Las “space ribs” muy recomendables, evitar el rissotto!

Really nice food and really welcoming staff. Definitely worth stopping by for dinner. Booking ahead in high season is an absolute must, two days ahead when we were there in July. It had a sister restaurant just s further out of town called chef's kitchen.

Onlangs hier gegeten. Als voorgerecht spareribs; de lekkerste spareribs ooit gegeten. Zeer vriendelijke bediening en heerlijk eten tegen goede prijzen. Een aanbeveling waard.

Restaurant sympa, les plats sont très goûteux.
Un porc Ibérique très tendre, des crevettes au curry et lait de coco puis Figues marinées avec glace vanille et café Porto.
Dommage que tout va trop vite.
Il vaut mieux réserver à l'avance.

We've been coming to E and E for years and it's incredible how the levels of food and service have remained so high. The kitchen is tiny yet the chefs produce the most delicious creations and often very quickly too. Claudio and Jonas are amazing hosts who remember so many of the guests which, considering the number who come through the door every night, is incredible. They work so hard in limited space that it's like a well choreographed ballet at times as they move around between the tables! Would definitely recommend a visit or two during your stay in Carvoeiro and would also definitely recommend booking in advance!

Only had a main course but the food tasted really lovely. Not loads of choice on the menu but probably enough. I think the menu could have had a little more info on it like what the meal comes with and a little more info on the dish. Friendly staff, very efficient service. There is a kids menu and it seemed very child friendly so quite a loud atmosphere. Would go back.

Amazing food and great service. I would thoroughly recommend the fish cakes and the lamb main. The staff were extremely professional even though we were a large party and were late to our reservation.

Pieni ja ilmapiiriltään kodikas ravintola. Palvelu on erittäin ystävällistä ja nopeaa vaikka ravintola on ollut täynnä ne kaksi kertaa kun olemme käyneet. Ruoka on hyvää - ruokalistalta löytyvät yllätyksellisemmän ruuan lisäksi myös lihansyöjänä takuuvarmat pihviklassikot.

We eat at Ele & Ela every time we visit Carvoeiro as it is a must place to eat! The food is gorgeous & the service is excellent headed up by Claudio who makes you very welcome. We have dined there for the past 6/7 years & never had a dish that was not top notch.
