"Puñalada en Alfama" Nos cobraron 5€ por cada cerveza, pedimos un plato de entrantes con jamón, jamón York y queso por 13€ y nos pusieron 2 lonchas de queso 2 de jamón York y 2 de queso con unas aceitunas negras. No lo recomiendo por nada del mundo. Podéis ver el plato de 13€ en la foto.

Bom. Fados com uma roupagem de humor que a dona, Tina (ou Shakira), vai dando ao mesmo tempo que serve às mesas e canta. Qualidade da comida podia ser melhor mas o vinho da casa é bom.

We were going out for a fine dinner with Fadomusic. During our meal several groups from walkingtours got in to drink wine. It destroy our dinner and the food was not good. The music was good.

This is a horrible place .not only that but these people are broad daylight robbers .fado was supposed to strategy at 20:00. By 20:30 still no music. We ordered mezze to begin. Olives butter bread codfish patties and a plate of black sausage .The codfish patties were rewarmed by micro wave. The sausage arrived cold and we had to ask them to warm it again and the olives were simply bad .hard to go wrong with starters but the aced it! And when the bill came although we had ordered one plate of fish patties (which contained two patties) and one basket of bread ( which admittedly contained two small buns) we were billed twice!!! Never in my life have I been billed per item!! Do yourselves a favor and avoid this place at all costs .for the mezze and two needs we paid 22 euro .its not about the extra few euros bit the principle .but if they are so hard up for the money. So be it .I hope they use it to buy medication .

OMG!!! This is just an amazing experience!!! Family/friend-like atmosphere - Portuguese style .❤️ Fado music starting at 20:00 (and owners sing too). Very entertaining and a lot of fun! Can’t recommend enough! Better to reserve or come before 20:00 hoping there will be a free table because the place is pretty small but that is what makes this place so cosy. Octopus, squeed and bacalau are very good!

The worst food experience in my life. Dry gummy microwaved fish. We had one bite and ran away. Still had to pay 50€ for that. Absolutely avoid that place !!!

Absolut nicht zu empfehlen, eines der schlechtesten Restaurants, in dem wir je gegessen haben mit einer sehr unfreundlichen und unorganisierten Kellnerin. Das Fleisch wurde direkt auf einen rostigen alten Grill etwa 1,5 m neben den Gästen „geschmissen“. Der Grillmeister war ein älterer Herr mit einem versifften alten Hemd, durchtränkt mit Fett und anderen unappetitlichen Flecken, der breit zahnlos grinsend die Fleischstücke mit bloßen Händen auf den Grill warf. Zwischendurch bewegte er sich zur Straße, um eine Kippe anzuzünden und einen Tanz mit seinem Kumpanen von nebenan vor unseren Augen vorzuführen. Zumindest schien er Spaß zu haben...leider hat diese urkomische Vorstellung die Wartezeit von rund einer Stunde nicht wirklich verkürzt. Als wir endlich ausgehungert und durchgefroren unser Essen bekamen, haben wir festgestellt, dass dieses absolut kalt war. Zudem war das Fleisch nur halb durch. Salz und Pfeffer durften wir uns selbst bei der Köchin besorgen. Alles für einen Preis mit dem man in Deutschland in einem halbwegs vernünftigen Restaurant bereits problemlos essen kann. Der Service komplettierte das restliche Bild des Etablissement perfekt. Auf unsere Bitte hin, die Rechnung zu bringen, wurden wir erst einmal von der Kellnerin ignoriert, in etwa 15 min bekamen wir (ungelogen) einen abgerissenen Zettel mit einigen handschriftlichen Kritzeleien drauf :D. Ich schreibe sonst nie Bewertungen aber dieser Abend war einfach eine Bodenlose Frechheit.

Good food, great entertainment. The owner waits and sings and is very involved, welcoming, entertaining and lovely. Wish i understood the language because i feel like i missed out on a lot. It was still great nonetheless. The grilled octopus was fantastic. The rest of the food was okay. Respect the Fado and don't chat during performances.

Pessimo. Costosissimo nonostante si presenti come un sottoscala con tavoli piccolissimi all'esterno. Personale di servizio trasandato. Siamo stati attratti dalla stanchezza e dai numerosi avventori. Cibo appena decente. Truffaldino lo scrivere nel menu il 9 in modo che sembri un 4 col risultato che due pietanze da 14 euro (già molto per un polpo ed un baccalà) sono poi state addebitate a 19: 10 euro in più portando il totale di una cena da 45 euro (troppi) a 55. Da evitare !!!

Freshly grilled meats and fish, the tiny BBQ they have outside doesn't look big enough to feed a family of 4 but they manage to feed an entire restaurant! Everything is cooked to order and good value for money €16-18 per main €14 for a liter of sangria. It may not look like it has much to offer but it gets very busy in the evening (from around 8pm onwards) when sat outside you can hear Fado music in the distance coming from other near by bars.

Wir hatten den mixed Grill Teller und die offen Rippchen. Die Pommes bei beiden Gerichten trieften vor Fett und waren noch halb roh. Der mixed Grill Teller bestand aus einem spieß und einer Rippe beides sehr fettig und mehr gekocht als gebraten. Auf das Essen haben wir fast eine Stunde gewartet.

Fun and enjoyable atmosphere. A bit more upbeat than we expected, but amazing still the same. Yep guitarists and a rotation of 5 singers kept the night fresh. Dishes ordered were huge and great value. Grilled pork was very tasty.

La primera impresión es de un sitio muy auténtico con un señor haciendo brasas y la comida en la calle. Desde nuestra mesa, en la terraza, veíamos cómo se hacía la comida. Vimos como al señor que cocinaba en las brasas se le caían trozos de carne y pescados enteros al suelo y “haciendose el despistado” los volvía a echar a la brasa y lo servía en las mesas. Nuestro pescado (dorada a la brasa) estaba espectacular, esta no cayó al suelo. La comida de los demás...pasada por el suelo de la calle...juzguen ustedes.

Restaurant with great atmosphere where in the evenings you can hear staff singing songs to the sounds of 2 guitarists. The waiter as well as the owner are very funny and friendly. The dishes are tasty and in acceptabke prices. The location is also good in a heart of Alfama.

No recomendable, aunque parezca apetecible por el olor a parrilla y la terraza es caro y la comida no esta muy allá. Para mi que soy vegetariana habia un par de platos. No repetiría.

Experiencia horrorosa. Para empezar, nos sentimos discriminadas por ser una pareja de chicas, ya que desde el principio nos atendieron peor, fuimos la única mesa a la que no se acercaron a preguntar qué tal la cena, tardaron más en venir que al resto, nos miraron regular, después de esperar media hora a que se acercaran a recoger y pese a que lo habían hecho en el resto de las mesas sin tener que llamarlas, nos tocó levantarnos para pedir la cuenta y poder irnos. ningún interés en acercarse a si necesitábamos algo en toda la cena, apenas nos dirigieron la palabra y de hecho fueron bastante bordes. Precios inflados (14 euros por 3 sardinas pequeñas!? Disculpa? y ni siquiera estaban muy buenas) el chorizo a la parrilla, duro después de pedir que lo pasarán una segunda vez por que estaba crudo, lo devolvimos y aun así lo cobraron, poca vergüenza. ante nuestro visible descontento solo decidieron mostrarse aún más pasotas. el resto de la carta, sin más y también cara. además si te pones fuera ni siquiera tienen fado, es solo para el local interior, y eso que los precios siguen siendo los mismos y te lo venden como que tienen. todo desastroso. no lo recomendaría ni a mi peor enemigo.

Eravamo di passaggio, una sola notte e il volo il giorno dopo, nessuna idea dove cenare, poco distante da dove eravamo ubicati attirò la mia attenzione una scodella di fave nella vetrina di questo piccolo ristorantino, fu il segno del destino che ci dovevamo fermare lì. Una signora molto "generosa" ci consigliò di lasciare una caparra per i 5 posti di cui avevamo bisogno e la puntualità nel sederci a tavola. Il resto fu tutta un'esplosione di gusti e divertimento, devo essere sincero, non conoscevo il fado, siamo rimasti senza parole. Certo, si cade nello scontato quando si dice che i gusti sono soggettivi ma, abbiamo mangiato benissimo, bevuto benissimo e divertiti tantissimo. Non sarà certo un ristorante stellato ma il massimo delle preferenze se lo merita tutto se fosse solo per l'ospitalità ed il coinvolgimento in cui ci siamo ritrovati, per caso, quella sera del 2 gennaio 2020. Torneremo a Lisbona e sarà la mia prima tappa.

Trafiliśmy do tego miejsca z przypadku skuszeni muzyką grana i śpiewaną na żywo, a było to oczywiście fado. Usiedliśmy przy kieliszku porto i cieszyliśmy się atmosferą, która jest niezwykła. Fado grane na żywo codziennie od 20 do 24, śpiewają wszyscy pracownicy restauracji począwszy od właściciela po kucharki i kelnerki. Nie wypowiem się na temat jedzenia, bo byliśmy już po kolacji i usiedliśmy tylko aby napić się porto (4 euro za kieliszek), ale biorąc pod uwagę tłumy w środku i na zewnątrz podejrzewam, że dobrze tam karmią.

La esperiencia bastante mala, por no decir horrorosa. Nos lo recomendó una señora del barrio q debía tener comisión. Comida churruscada, encharcada en aceite. Muy caro y la cuenta en una hoja cutre. No admiten targeta, pedimos factura y nos miraron con cara de susto.

Unfortunately an awful tourist trap! THIS IS NOT FADO AND THE FOOD IS TERRIBLE. The only thing that was good were the two male players, who were really playing fado. The rest was a mix of an inaceptable, terrible food and two ladies screaming, jumping on the tables and pretending that this is the tradition of singing fado in Portugal, which IS NOT AT ALL. A whole shame.

Unbelievably good fado place. First time we got there by accident, two days later made reservations and brought friends. Reservation is. recommended, place is very small. Food is a standard good Portuguese fare. Fado starts at 8 p.m. and I can't describe how good it was.

Una vergüenza de sitio, queríamos cenar escuchando un poco de fado y nos adjudicaron unos sitios en los que apenas teníamos sitio para movernos. La carne era muy mala, de hecho pusieron una loncha de jamón york y otra de queso (para que os hagáis una idea de la pésima calidad) y pedí un rodaballo que resultó ser una lubina. El precio fue demasiado caro para la horrible calidad y para colmo, tardaron muchísimo en traernos la cuenta. Diría que el ambiente se "pasó" de informal. Definitivamente no lo recomiendo.

Hermosa atmósfera, hermosa experiencia, te atienden como si fueras familia, trato muy cálido y con amor, se ve el show en vivo ahí dentro, te sentís portugués por una noche, lo único malo es que son un poquito caros los platos.

Aquest local també s'anomena Tininha d'Alfama i en poques paraules, no heu d'anar-hi sota cap concepte! Es tracta del típic atrapa turistes amb el ganxo del Fado. Explicaré la nostra experiència. Al no trobar lloc als locals recomanats de Fado, vam passar pel Porta d’Alfama i malgrat ser un local petit, tenien lloc -normal vist el que després vam viure- i vam reservar una taula de quatre de les dues que hi havia lliures al local. Vam arribar al local puntuals a l’hora convinguda i el primer que vam observar és que no es podia donar ni un pas, estava ple com un ou i resultava molt incòmode doncs era quasi impossible moure’s pel local sense que algú s’hagués d’aixecar. A més vam veure, amb gran sorpresa nostre, que hi havia gent asseguda a la nostra taula, malgrat estar reservada; les propietàries ens van dir que havien d’omplir i que podíem seure amb el desconegut que ja estava sopant i tenia la taula plena de coses a mig consumir. La carta...tot un desastre, de debó. La meitat dels plats estaven tatxats i mirant l’aspecte d’alguns dels plats veïns, que al estar apilats com estàvem, no era gens difícil veure’ls, no feia cap il·lusió demanar-los; total que vam demanar un vas de vi blanc i dues amanides de pop. Gran error també. El pop era mort de feia sis mesos com a mínim, el gust el definiré com a dolent, per ser una mica benèvol, doncs faria servir adjectius poc agradables si hagués de ser totalment sincer i del vi millor ni parlar-ne per a no posar-me encara de més mal humor. Com que havíem de menjar alguna cosa vam demanar un flam de la casa que va ser la única menja decent de la nit. El sopar, per dir-ne alguna cosa, era de Fado i el Fado teniem entès que era un cant intimista i trist, però en aquest local el converteixen en una competició per veure qui és capaç de cridar més fort. Al final de cada cançó, com si fóssim criatures, et feien cridar "magnífico" per fer veure que ens havia agradat molt el conjunt de crits, que havien perpetrat des del racó de cridar convertit en una mena d'escenari. La sensació d'estar fent el ridícul va ser espantosa, sobretot perquè si tot plegat fos poca cosa, la mestressa s'anava passejant per les taules, passant com podia o apartant gent si calia, tot fent bromes a crits que la majoria de gent calificaría de mal gust i mancades d'educació. Els focs artificials de final de festa va ser haver de pagar quasi 60,00 € per una porqueria com la que us he exposat. Si us plau, no hi aneu...de debò us ho demano, si aquest local tanca li estarem fent un gran favor al Fado i un de més gran encara a la gastronomía.

Charming, humble little restaurant for a meal and fado. Felt very homely, the owner was an absolutel gem, very engaging and entertaining. The food was average, but the entertainment was worth it, seemed more welcoming than the other fado places we stumbled upon that looked more theatrical.

Carne muy seca, la guarnición estaba buena. Las patatas fritas encharcadas en aceite. Las sardinas ricas. En cuanto a los Fados, solo cantaron en el interior y no en el exterior. Si estás en la zona de exterior, te cuidas donde te sientas xq el humo de la barbacoa te puede molestar.

Overall a very disappointing experience. The food was mediocre at best and wildly overpriced. My girlfriend felt sick all night and I endured a nasty bout of food poisoning for the following 36 hours. It's a shame, because the atmosphere and quality of the music were quite nice. The staff barely spoke any English, but I found that to be charming since we like to avoid touristy places. They were friendly to us despite the language barrier, but the sickening food will definitely deter us from ever returning.

A fabulous restaurant. The food was fresh and tasty - my sea bass was particularly good. However, it was the atmosphere that absolutely made it. The hosts were wonderful - both in character and in quality of singing! Some excellent musical entertainment in an intimate setting.

Wir hatten gestern am Samstag einen unvergleichlich schönen und unterhaltsamen Abend im Porta de Alfama - mit Fado, Essen und Trinken. Wir waren von 20- 24 Uhr da. Alle nachfolgenden Beschreibungspunkte sind positiv zu verstehen. Es gab gutes Essen. 14-20€ das Gericht. Zu zweit haben wir am Abend ca. 50 € ausgegeben. Inclusive Fodo Musik. 6 SängerInnen in Instrumentenbegleidung sind zweimal aufgetreten. Es singt auch die Inhaberin und das Personal. Sogar die Köchin singt aus der Essenausgabe mit. Prächtige Stimmung. Prächtige Stimmen. Keine akademische Fado Hochkultur. Auch ein Tisch mit Einheimischen mittleren Alters hat sich bestens unterhalten gefühlt. Das Lokal ist nur ca. 25m2 groß. Enge Sitzplätze, Schräge schrullige Dekoration. Super freundlich und animierende Miteinbeziehung aller Anwesenden. Unvergleichliche Stimmung. Kann mir garnicht vorstellen daß das nicht einmalig war. Fado kann wohl auch lustig sein. Es gibt WiFi/Wlan. Die Einsternerezensionen hier weiter unten betreffen definitiv ein anderes Lokal weil Porta de Alfama keinen PATEO hat muss sich die schlechte Kritik auf das gegenüber liegende "PATEO de Alfama" beziehen.

Bom fado e ambiente muito castiço

Ho mon dieu comment peut-on nous servir quelque chose d'aussi insipide !!! Nous avons pris des "petiscos", des accras de morue qui étaient fades, non salés (pourtant on peut pas vraiment se rater sur ça), nous avons ensuite pris une salade de poulpe, qui était sans saveur, élastique, sans couleur le tout baignant dans de l'huile de l'ail et de l'oignon comme pour y donner un minimum de saveur....en vain. Enfin nous avons pris une salade de fève, erreur de plus, elle baignait aussi dans l'huile, les fèves étaient toutes molles, un vert très pâle, la peau s'en détachait, merci aux olives présentes dans l'assiette qui étaient bonnes et merci à la bière qui l'était tout autant !!! Franchement servir ça c'est se moquer de la tête du client et l'Entente entre le personnel et le cuisto au barbecue en tongs ....nous ne reviendrons certainement pas.

Stop by for a meal served with fado. Or just pop by between 8 pm and midnight and sample for free some of the saudade that Portuguese sing about in fado.

Demasiado caro para a qualidade da comida.

Terrible experience. All the staff were incredibly rude in spite of our best efforts to be polite. The gentleman cooking our food on the patio was smoking cigarettes as he prepared it. I'm not sure if it is because we are English that they took such great offence to us, but I would certainly advise anybody to eat elsewhere. We've spent many nights in Lisbon and there are many wonderful restaurants very close with a higher standard of service and who treat their customers with greater respect and basic manners.

Cannot believe the terrible service we received tonight. We were intrigued by the grill patio side and looking forward to a plate of fresh seafood! There was no smiles or any hospitality from the waitress after we sat for 3p mins. Then they forgot our drink order. Only remembering when another couple who were seated after us received their order. Then we waited over an hour for our food. Again, only after all the other tables around us received their food did they realize they forgot our order again. The croquettes came stone cold and stale. Food came and was cold and mediocre at best. No apologies or anything was given. Please don't waste your time or money on this place... So disappointed with our "night out" in Lisbon.

Mycket trevligt ställe att äta lunch på. Håll dig till "dagens tallrik" (4-5 rätter att välja på) och du kommer att bli mycket nöjd, mätt och belåten utan att det kostar så mycket. 15€ för lunch inkl. dricka och bröd. Very nice place to have lunch. Keep to the "Today's plate" (4-5 dishes to choose from) and you will be very satisfied without costing so much. Expect around € 15 for the lunch incl. drink and bread.

Ottimo locale con fado dal vivo. Le crocchette di baccalà sono meravigliose così come il bacalau assado.

Troppo caro, cucina familiare, tipica portoghese ma il prezzo troppo alto per il tipo di locale. Ci siamo sentiti turisti da spennare.

We were looking for an authentic place to experience fado, and I'm quite sure that's what we got. The food was good the price fair and the service and atmosphere excellent.

Adorei uma casa portuguesa com certeza..bom fado boa comida e bom vinho ...o preço é razoável e o ambiente é ótimo... Recomendo!!! E viva a Tininha

Great Place to eat and enjoy Fado. Good meals family coocked. All the family is performing every night Fado with live guitar. Very friendly. Fair prices: You pay just for the meal. No extra charge for the live performance. But feel free to donate.^^

Great overall experience. Nice cozy Restaurant with friendly Service, you can feel The "family bussines" with great Fado. The food is very basic but still quite expensive.

The place is very nice, you can feel that is a family business and you are part of them(except you have to pay;) quite much) They sing fado and it's like big fiesta. Very good food, fresh and good home wine. 1 star less as they don't mention that you have to pay for bread and aperitifs that they serve you without asking. So you can ask before if it's free. For 2 persons prepare around 45e.
