Bela é uma agradável anfitriã. Espaço pequeno, então a reserva deve ser feita com antecedência considerável. Comidinhas deliciosas (não tem jantar, mas as incontáveis entradinhas não ficam devendo nada. Vinho, água, refrigerante... à vontade. Sem contar aS sobremesaS). Fado: intérpretes irretocáveis. Valor por pessoa: 35 euros. Valeu cada centavo. Certamente voltaremos!

Would never go there again, worst service, angry, impolite and unhappy staff behaving like they are feeding a homeless person. Pricey too. Never felt more humiliated in a restaurant like here

We have been in Lisbon for a month and I can say unequivocally that Tasca Bella has the worst food I've experienced. If you want to spend a minimum of $27 which is the cover up to $35 for cold canned food then this is the place for you. The Fado is good but the restaurant is bad.

We were looking for an authentic experience combining Fado music and Portuguese cuisine and this place offered exactly that.
Reservation is a must and perhaps a bit tricky to get, since the place seems to get filled up quickly, but totally worth it!

We arrived at 9h22 pm instead of 9h15 pm for our reservation - 7 minutes late ( and considering the streets of alfama when you re a tourist i think it is understandable). And....our table for 2 people was given away .the manager was extremely rude. When we said our name, she ignored us, shaking her head and speaking in portuguese to a co worker that it's not possible to accommodate us. Then she told us angry that they don't wait fof their customers. She offered us a space in a 'closet' to set up a table. Didn t even consider it twice, we left.

Cominciamo dalla parte musicale del Fado. Ci sono diversi cantanti che si alternano e rispettosamente viene chiusa la porta ed abbassata la luce.. Ottima la chitarra portoghese. Per quanto riguarda il cibo non aspettatevi un gran che.Non ci sono ne primi ne secondi. Quando arrivate trovate sul tavolo più o meno quello che andrete a mangiare..quello che non volete vi verrà tolto dal tavolo. Lasciate perdere i fritti perché sono di gomma.Senza vado non ne vale la pena. Occhio al prezzo. Il prezzo minimo a persona è di 22,5 euro anche se mangiate di meno.. il personale è comunque molto gentile.

La comida bastante mediocre. Tapas frías que ya están en la mesa una vez llegas, de las que puedes elegir las que quieras y/o pedir más. Tiene una consumición mínima por persona de 22,50€, precio bastante elevado para la comida que ofrecen. Mesas compartidas con otros clientes. La camarera bastante tosca, podría ser más agradable. Pero el fallo más grande es que no se puede pagar con tarjeta, y nos lo dijeron a la hora de ir a pagar, y de una manera bastante brusca.... bastante mejorable.
Si pongo dos estrellas es por el fado que cantaron. Fuimos un domingo y cantaron dos veces, una vez un señor y después una señora. Muy bonitas canciones y muy buenos cantantes. La cena mereció la pena por esos fados. El resto es bastante mejorable.

Bellissimo locale dove sentire il Fado, musica tipica portoghese, ad un prezzo onesto. Da mangiare troverete delle tapas (piccole porzioni di piatti davvero buoni, a base soprattutto di pesce) e da bere ottimo vino e liquori locali. Ogni tanto, durante la cena, le luci si spengono e diversi cantanti si cimentano in 2 o 3 canzoni di seguito, che ascolterete a lume di candela immersi in un'atmosfera davvero bella e malinconica al tempo stesso.
Attenzione: se trovate la porta del locale chiusa, aspettate! Quando si ascolta il Fado ogni rumore può rovinare tutto; aspettate pazientemente 10-15min e poi entrate a godervi la serata.

There is one menu which is €35 pp but includes an array of cold appetisers, warm starter, two mains and two desserts. Also included is wine, soft drinks or beer and live fado music from a number of performers (we went on a Wednesday so can't verify for other days).
Easily value for money with very nice tasting food and a great evening overall. There aren't many tables so book the day before or ring before they open

Espaço acolhedor, com simpatia, mas demasiado pequeno e só com um WC para homens e mulheres. Mesas minúsculas onde só deveriam caber 2 pessoas, mas metem 4! As tapas já estão na mesa, frias, e nada de especial para os 35€ por pessoa. Fadistas jovens, mas com qualidade.

Nice interior, good Fado show, but that's all. Average starters and soup, very bad fish, good meat stew and average desserts, house wine also average. Very unfriendly stuff. All for 35 euro per person, cash only.

This was one of the most authentic dinners ever. When you visit friends, you let them decide what to feed you. And with 7 appetizers plus soup, fish, meat, cheese, bread, 2 deserts, and coffee, there s plenty to try and plenty to make everybody happy. Did I mention unlined wine, beer, or Sangria? Still, the best part of the evening were the Fado concerts. The lights went out, people stopped talking for a while, and we experienced an intimate concert with about 30 people. In 8 different performances with 6 different singers, we were more than awed with the quality of the music. The bill is 35.00 pp and includes everything above. Well worth it. Make reservations! We were there promptly at 8:30 and left after the last concert at 1:15. Our highlight on Lisbon!

Para escuchar Fado de buena calidad, por 35euros incluye la actuación y un menú con tapas frías, varios platos bebidas y postre, abundante comida todo rico, pero a todo el mundo le sobra y no te la ponen para llevar.. , y cuidado al ir a pagar solo era en efectivo!

Food was good but a little pricey for Portugal.
We really enjoyed the fado.
If you’re in Lisbon you must experience this atmosphere in this casca or similar ones.

This place is the best, the very best! The food cooked by the mama of the family was super delicious. You get all sorts of tapes and real good (unlimited) sangria as well. And especially the amazing fado music which was really authentic, pure and full of passion! Thank you for the amazing night we had! Kisses from the Netherlands (and one from Australia)

Nous avons été très mal accueillis par une jeune femme d'emblée agressive et irrespectueuse. Nous avions fait une réservation par téléphone en nous assurant qu'il y aurait bien du fado le mardi A notre arrivée, il nous a été dit que nous n'avions pas de réservation et qu'il n'y avait pas de fado le mardi mais le mercredi. J'ai donc demandé une réservation pour ce jour là. Sur un ton tout aussi désagréable la personne m'a répondu sèchement que c'était complet. Nous n'avons pas compris la raison de ce mauvais accueil et le ton sur lequel cette jeune femme nous a parlé

Super cute local restaurant! Great if your want to listen to Fado in the Alfama neighborhood. They only have tapas, and if you don’t eat fish (like me) they don’t have that many options, but you can definitely go to have some wine and listen to good music. We went on a Saturday and needed reservation, so definitely check before you go!

Excellent, tasty starter style (petiscos). The place has a really tradicional feel with lots of old furniture and appliances. If you make a reservation the tables are set with a variety of dishes from which you can choose. All of them are really good but i would recommend the octopus salad which is my favourite. On fado nights the singer start at around 21h30. Silence is mandatory while they are singing. As the place is quite small there is a very intimate environment and you can feel the chills when the raise their voices. Overall a very fulfilling experience.

Opening 15 mn late, Booking for 2 not properly registered so we were offered a table with 6 other people which would have been ok for us of the lady had not added with the most bored tone and unsmilling face "that's all you can have"...one of these restaurant were you feel so badly welcomed that you prefer to leave.

I'm a local so I was looking for something to take my friends from abroad. It was honestly perfect! A great quaint rustic atmosphere, just like in the olden days. The food is amazing and traditional, very inexpensive compared to other Fado restaurants, and serves food in snack portions, which lets you try more dishes, instead of locking into one you may not even know what it is (if you're from out of town). Staff are very nice and helpful.
Only thing I would mention is that I would try to arrive early to get a good view and acoustics, as the singer has to move around in order for everyone to enjoy properly the experience.

Uma graça de lugar, comidinhas gostosas, bom vinho, ambiente romântico e descolado e quanto aos cantores de Fados tive muita sorte de ver e ouvir Pedro Galveas e Sandra Correia que me fizeram chorar com suas vozes, sentimentos e interpretação... Me apaixonei pela Tasca Bela... Recomendo

If you are coming for food its very expensive but at the same time is an awesome experience to try typical portuguese food and listen to fado. I love the decoration and staff is nice and smiley.

The food was not to my liking, beans and cold seafood. Most was already on the table, which I understand is common. It was hard to get the staff's attention to order other things. Not great for kids. We were new to Fado and Portuguese food but liked food elsewhere more. Serious Fado fans may be happier here than we were.

Imperdível a quem passa por Alfama! Local onde impera a boa disposição e onde todos são levados a cantar, por ser lema da casa e por haver sempre música ao vivo. A proprietária canta(e se canta!),os amigos das guitarras e percussão não falham, e convidam todos os presentes a recordar grandes êxitos da música portuguesa, e aos sábados, o fado. A salada de polvo e o vinho da casa foram a cereja no topo deste bolo, que só apetece repetir!

A Casa de Fados/Tasca Bela é um local maravilhoso onde se pode ouvir um bom fado e apreciar as suas iguarias!
Foi uma agradável experiência a minha visita a este estabelecimento, pois mesmo sem termos reserva conseguiram-nos arranjar uma mesa no local mais nobre: a mesa na cozinha. O que pode parecer para muitos um local pouco próprio para se comer, é na verdade uma experiência interessante pois nos proporcionou uma noite de fados muito agradável que tão facilmente não nos iremos esquecer. Este pequeno episódio demonstra a simpatia e cordialidade da Dona Bela e do restante pessoal.
É um local recomendado a quem quer passar uma noite muito agradável a ouvir fados, ou se bem me recordo (em 2012) a ouvir poesia às quartas-feiras.
