Wunderschönes Hostel in einer Stadtvilla mit riesiger Dachterrasse und grandiosem Ausblick über den Tejo zur Christusstatue am anderen Ufer in Almada. Es gibt einen großen und gemütlichen Lounge- und Essbereich sowie eine große Gemeinschaftsküche, die mit vielen Kochplätzen und großen Kühlschränken ausgestattet ist. Die Mehrbettzimmer sind einfach und haben stabile Stockbetten sowie abschließbare Schränke. Es gibt saubere Gemeinschaftsbäder mit Duschen und Toiletten auf dem Gang. Das Frühstück besteht aus Tee oder Kaffee mit Weissbrot sowie Butter und Marmelade. Das Hostel liegt genau zwischen dem Bahnhof Cais do Sodre unten am Fluß und dem Praça Luís de Camões auf halber Höhe am Berg in einer absolut ruhigen Nebenstraße. Durch die sehr günstige Lage des Hostels lassen sich der Bahnhof Cais do Sodre (mit Metro & Fähranlegestelle) sowie einige Sehenswürdigkeiten und das Ausgehviertel Bairro Alto vom Hostel aus gut zu Fuß erreichen.

El edificio es muy bonito y está muy bien equipado. Está en una zona bastante céntrica y el precio es muy bueno.

The hostel is huge and loses a bit the cozy familiar feeling often associated to hostels. To compensate for it however, the facility is very well equipped, well kept and clean, with a good organization. A minor pain point is the staff which is a bit slow and generally unhelpful, while still being friendly and kind. Overall great experience worth repeating and definitely worth the small price premium.

Ottimo ostello. Camere non troppo affollate, letti comodi, dotati di un grosso cassetto per stilare i propri averi. Ricordo di averci messo casco, borsa da serbatoio e zaino più 2 borse laterali morbide. Pulito, dotato di confort, in zona centrale, in palazzo storico e caratteristico. Bella la cucina e la terrazza panoramica.....

Auberge de jeunesse très bien située, proche de tout type de transport en commun.Plein de petits espaces sont mis à la disposition des voyageurs, cuisine bien équipée, terrasse sur le toit avec une vue magnifique sur la statue du christ et le pont.

Nous avons séjourné 5 jours dans un dortoir de 10 personnes. La chambre et les sanitaires étaient propres. L'auberge en elle même est très agréable, avec son jardin et sa terrasse avec vue sur Lisbonne. Elle est très bien située. Le personnel et très accueillant et serviable. Je recommande vivement ! Nous avons passé un très bon séjour !

The location is really good, you are right in downtown Lissabon. The rooms are quite nice and the bathrooms were renovated recently. You have a great view from the rooftop and the kitchen is really big and new as well, but the knives ain't sharp :D. All in all really nice

A LOT of old people. And most of the plumbing fixtures (toilets, showers, sinks) had some sort of issue. Are these two points related? Probably not. But if they are...MAY GOD HAVE MERCY ON OUR SOULS

I don't understand how this hostel has such high rankings, except maybe because of the location. I was there this past weekend. There was no Wi-Fi for most of the first day, and when there was Wi-Fi, it was incredibly spotty. After certain hours, they keep the front door locked for safety reasons (understandable). They tell you to ring the doorbell to enter, however, the doorbell doesn't work! 24-hour front desk service doesn't mean much if it's not... at the front desk. The location was great, not sure if it was worth the service though.

O meu hostel de eleição em Lisboa *****

Schöne, saubere Zimmer und (Gemeinschafts-)Bäder. Besonders für Gruppen eignet sich das Hostel sehr gut. Das Frühstücksangebot ist ausreichend, es steht aber auch eine Gemeinschaftsküche zur Verfügung, wenn man selbst kochen will. Vor allem der Ausblick aus ein paar Zimmern und von der Dachterrasse aus über die Stadt und die Buchtist sehr schön (s. Bilder). Bei der Lage muss man jedoch bedenken dass man ein gutes Stück den Berg hoch laufen muss. Wenn man jedoch damit kein Problem hat ist es eine sehr schöne Unterkunft für einen Städtetrip.

I stayed 5 nights here. I enjoyed my stay here very much and I have 6 bed room with changing mates, but we care of each other very respectful, even though someone came later or left earlier. I like the respectful behaviors among people! The pictures are my copyrighted, which I took on the Terrasse and Dinning room! The decorations were very modern and international...It was nice to meet some new people here. The bed is clean and the staffs were friendly and helpful for anything you wanna to know. The only drawing is that the man toilet on the 3rd floor needs refurbish. The flushing button doesn’t work well any more.

O quarto é ótimo, banheiro limpo, cozinha organizada. Linda vista do quintal, do terraço e do quarto em que ficamos. Recomendo.

Отличный хостел в 10 минут от станции и в 5 минутах от знаменитого фуникулёра. В хостеле прекрасная атмосфера, шикарная летняя площадка, настольный футбол, бильярд. Бесплатные пешие туры и паб кролы. Нас заселили на 3 часа раньше, что очень порадовало и за что большое спасибо. Есть русскоговорящий парень, который очень доброжелательно относится к гостям. Единственный минус это крутой подъем до хостела, после насыщенного дня он даёт о себе знать) Завтраки с 7:30 утра, что очень удобно. Рекомендую!

Very clean, very quiet - even though its located very very close to the center and there were quite a few people staying at the hotel. Very nice design and the building itself is beautiful and cool, both inside and out. Very nice staff, breakfast was good. Had many restaurants and coffee shops near by. Great view, especially from the terrace. Stayed in the dorms: Beds are wide, they had both thin and thick blankets (thank you!), and a night lamp. Air conditioning available in the room. Shower and bathrooms were very clean, and very comfy, outside of the room but close and approachable. Huge lockers under the bed. The room got cleaned every day. Definitely recommend.

Bom atendimento. Funcionários atenciosos. Café da manhã razoável. Boa localização. O ponto negativo foi o banheiro compartilhado. Está a quase sempre sujo e com cheiro ruim. E o chuveiro a água não mantinha a temperatura. Em um segundo estava fria, e logo em seguida saia muito quente.

위치 마지막에 엄청난 언덕이여서 캐리어 가지고오신 분들은 한번 캐리어들고 체크인하면 호날두같은 체력가질 수 있구요 위치 좋고 뷰 좋고 시설 깨끗하고 10인 도미토리 예약했는데 6명 밖에 사용안했고 침대들도 널찍하게 있어서 너무 좋아요 방에 에어컨 물론 침대마다 콘센트, 조명있구요 조식도 과일, 빵, 쨈, 버터, 시리얼, 오트밀, 우유, 과일, 쥬스까지있어요 주방 식기도 완벽하구요ㅎㅎ 처음하고 체크아웃할때 여자분 직원이였는데 진짜 이렇게 친절해도되나 할 정도로 친절해서 너무 기분 좋았는데 짐 맡겨둬서 짐 찾으러 갔을때 남자직원때문에 완전 화났어요ㅠ 짐 찾으러 갔는데 러기지룸 열쇠주면서 니가 알아서 찾아가라고 해서 직접 가지러 갔는데 창고 문이 안열리는거 있죠 그래서 다시 직원한테가서 열쇠가 안됀다니까 알아서 하라고 try 하다보면 될꺼라고 말하고 동영상보면서 낄낄 되더라구요^^ 정말 깊은 빡침... 겨우 직접 열어서 짐 칮아서 가요ㅎㅎ 그 남자직원만 빼면 뭐 완벽합니다

This hostel went beyond what i was expecting. Location is 5 min walk from an Aerobus stop, 4 min walk from a metro station, 3 min walk from the start of a couple free walking tours... and lots of bars and cafes and close clubs around but all within a block away so you don’t get the noise From it!It has hang-out areas, a full on kitchen, a terrasse and even a lift (old - i walked up 3 floors each time even with my luggage so i can’t comment but they offered it to me so it works)The included breakfast was one of the best. Cereals, fresh bread, tea, coffee, hot cocoa, cheese, meats, apples, oranges..,, and self serves all you can eat. Better than most 3* hotels I’ve a seen in North America!The staff was efficient and friendly at all the iMessage - the rooms ans bathrooms were clean and spacious. I can’t find one bad thing about this place dinner tried.I will stay here again when i visit Lisbon again.

* The hostel staff was extremly friendly and helpful. Big thumps up for that.*Rooms were nice and clean, only the beds are very noisy and a little unstable when trying to climb in the upper bunk bed. *Breakfast was good - everything you need with a nice view over the rooftops and the river. *Location is perfect. Nightlife and shopping, public transportation and the waterfront just around the corner. Of course that makes the area rather noisy, so if you have a light sleep, you should consider a proper hotel in a different location.*Overall condition of the hostel: very hipster, good condition, bathroom not so clean after breakfast time but that is to be blamed on the guests. Highly recommending this hostel!

Prima verzorgd. Behulpzaam personeel en een gezellige sfeer. Het ontbijt mag wel uitgebreider, maar het dakterras maakt dat dan ook wel weer goed!

No esta mal para dormir y descansar entre vistitas turisticas, pero para comer solo recomendaria el almuerzo y para las otras comidas salir y buscar restaurantes con tripadvisor, hay algunos realmente buenos. No esta preparados para grupos grandes i esta un poco lejos de el centro.

Bastante acogedor y con encanto, sala recreativa con billar etc, pero habitaciones cerradas y con poca ventilación, el menu muy incompleto y comida recalentada.

I really liked this hostel! Good staffs, room was good (fortunately i got upgraded), breakfast was great, they have their own juice machine (not the one you can make juice, but the one with ready-to-drink juice and also coffee machine). I love the kitchen as well! The common room was spacious.

Das Hostel hällt das was es auf der eigenen Internetseite verspricht. Es gibt saubere Betten, einen Fahrstuhl, eine große Terrasse, einen großen Balkon mit großartigem Blick auf das andere Ufer. Allerdings lassen die Männertoiletten einigen zu wünschen übrig.

The rooms were very comfortable! The garden space in the hostel was very good for catching up for drinks with other hostellers. The staff was friendly. The kitchen space was convenient. The terrace had a beautiful view of the vasco da gama bridge.

El hostal bien, muy bonito y muy bien situado. Las zonas comunes son lo mejor. Por poner una pega no tiene parking. Lo peor de ir en coche fue tener que buscar aparcamiento y movernos por las calles.

O hostel é bom, café razoável, o banheiro compartilhado estava sempre sujo e o staff nos passou informações erradascom relação a condução para Obidos.

I have 3 nights stay in this hostel. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Location is very convenient. Metro/Tram station is very near. Super Market / pizza shop and restaurants are also down the road. Staff was helpful and friendly. Basic Breakfast but still OK because its FREE (eat as much as you can). Harbour is just 5 minutes away and some other tourist attractions are also near by. Main Square is also 15/20 minutes walk. In short, its a good place for short stay.

Great location and amenities! Easy to get to a number of good restaurants and neighborhoods via walking. The hostel has an okay breakfast, but a great kitchen, terrace, garden, and lounge room. Beds are comfortable and have huge drawers for storage, with beautiful views from the rooms (at least on the third floor). The only things they could improve: better breakfast and friendlier staff :)

Good hostel, a bit strict and some of the staff members can be a bit rude. The rooms were clean and breakfast was okay.

The rooms are really good and have nice apace, there is a nice garden to relaxe in and a sky roof, the only thing is that you can't make any noice after 10.30pm because of the neighbours, but all combined it is a perfect.

Excelente espaço, as camas são boas, existe tomada para cada cama e os armários são espaçosos, os banheiros são limpos e o chuveiro é excelente. O café da manhã é simples mas é gostoso. É se fácil acesso e próximo ao metrô. A equipe é simpática. Recomendo e voltaria.

Best area, clean modern, friendly, comfortable, friendly, safe and (highlight) the view is breathtaking. I almost didnt want to leave the hostel lol. I had a personnal room that was better than many hotels i went to (minus the shared bathroom but that was okay). The shared areas were large modern and welcoming. The two outside spaces were the best though: the garden with the hammacs and the terrasse with the amazing view on the water. I would recomment to anyone of any age. Enjoy

O quarto e a localização do hostel são muito boas (por exemplo, proximo ao Mercado da Ribeira). A vista do refeitório é espetacular e inclusive da pra ver o rio Tejo. Única ressalva é o fato de os quartos com banheiro privado terem o banheiro fora do quarto, algo que não fomos informados.

NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER RECOMMEND HERE. The location and the room is pretty good. But you will get the TERRIBLE reception. I have god the worst reception while I was traveling in Europe. They offered nothing manner even they didn't say "Hello". When I passed the reception, they saw me sharply kind of agressive. It seems to be I had a big problem with them. Thanks for terrible reception, I got horrible staying at the hostel in how beautiful city, Lisbon. If you want to have a fantastic holiday. I recommend to that DO NOT STAY HERE.

Hostel muy bien ubicado. Me hospedé en una de las habitaciones dobles y todo fue correcto. El baño es privado pero está fuera de la habitación, luego no es muy práctico. El desayuno un poco justo de variedad y cada cuál ha de fregar lo suyo. Mucha gente joven de todas partes del mundo con quien intercambiar experiencias

The location great because it was right in the middle of Barrio Alto and the waterfront. So about a 5 min walk to Time Out Market.The room was clean and the shared bathrooms were OK and was hit or mis if they were clean. The places is very loud with thin walls and ceilings. We may have had just a bad experience with the guests staying next to us since we had people walking, hitting the adjoining walls and yelling down the hall way early in the morning. Although, we did have someone playing their accordion before 7am, which was extremely loud. There was no staff members around to enforce their quiet hours policy. The staff was also not very friendly and would lounge around in the front on the couch, which meant guests would need to sit on the floor. The terrace is very nice and gives great views of the city. This place would be good if they lowered the price a bit.

Definitely the best hostel I have ever been!! All the hostel is super clean, the breakfast is included and it is delicious -you have to try the spongecake!- the terrace is just AMAZING, omg the views!!!! We stayed in a 6 beds room which had beautiful views too. There are a lot of showers and bathrooms in every floor so you don't have to wait. The kitchen is really clean and equipped. There is also a garden where you can stay and chill and a big common room area that has four Mac computers that work perfectly -I am actually using one of these at the moment-, big sofas, tv, a bar, board games... Staff is so nice and friendly. The luggage room is completely free and before your check in and after your check out you can stay around the hostel until you have to leave -you can use the kitchen, baths and common areas. They also have some free tours around the city. The ubication is perfect. You will not find a better place for this prize. In conclusion, a wonderful place in a beautiful city. Horrible experience. Receptionist was incredibly rude. There was a sign saying that they organise shuttle buses for the airport but they never organised it for us even though we asked multiple times. Looked like we were greatly inconveniencing her when she said there was no shuttle for us so we asked if she could call a taxi. Room smelled bad. Incredibly noisy. There was a lot of furniture moving going on in the common room above is very late at night, keeping us awake. Toilets were horrible. Would not recommend.

Lorenzo at the front desk is the best. He helped me with my itinerary. He is very knowledgeable about the area. You are lucky to have him. Had a great stay! Would recommend your property.

Ein Hostel was einer Villa ähnelt und eine wundervolle Terrasse mit einem super Ausblick bietet. Das Personal ist sehr nett und die Zimmer sind sauber. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist top.

Excellent place to stay in Lisbon, it´s really comfortable, the common areas are really nice and with enough equipment to have fun and enjoy your stay, also the people from the hostel are so friendly and they make sure that you have what you need. Just one thing to say, in the publicity says the bad towels are included, but they´re not, so, bring your own. I recommend this hostel even though is a little more expensive than the most of the other hostels.

This place is perfectly located within Lisbon. Minutes from metro or train and downtown, and with a stunning view, it's hard to beat. Only loses a star because of the bathroom which could smell a little better. The rooms are great though. All keycard access.

Good value, and a really cool old building. Staff very friendly and helpful. Loses a couple of stars as the bathroom on our floor was out of action, and the showers on the other floor were either freezing or scalding hot. Not all the beds in our dorm had duvets, just sheets - so some of us were freezing cold overnight. The breakfast is very simple too, but adequate for the price.

Interior design is fantastic, rooms are beautiful, chillroom is huge - you can play billiard, drink, chill, use hostels Mac computers, kitchen is unreal and so is garden which is open 0-24 Hostel is in city centre you can arrive anywhere you want by foot (especially Bairo Alto and Pink street where party zone is)

Cette hôtel pourrait être très bien s'il ne faisait pas en plus auberge de jeunesse. Le petit déjeuner est limite et l'insonorisation est plus que limite. La localisation est très bien.

TIP: Call to ask if they have any groups staying and then make up your mind. Very good and impressively renovated palatial town house in a very good location HOWEVER you should bear in mind that this hostel can attract large groups or teenagers/schoolgroups/ party groups who seem to think its ok to make lots of noise and run around like children and unfortunately this is why Ive given only an average rating as opposed to very good or excellent - which might seem a little unfair, however... I stayed here for approximately 8 days and in that time there were 3 groups that came and went. When they weren't there, it was very nice but otherwise they tended to take over make lots of noise without much consideration for others, even fi they were accompanied by an adult or their teacher. Also this is NOT a cosy hostel, partly due to its interior design and space. The design is good BUT the lounge area could be improved - i.e. getting rid of the pool table which seems to attract and encourage stupid, juvenile behaviour and just thinking more about the seating area etc encourage perhaps more interaction between people. The BAD: i) public areas in autumn, Winter and spring can be cold due to no heating and high ceilings (obviously this is very good for the summer!) ii) WiFi is not good at all in some areas I.e. rooms must be improved especially for the number of people staying there. iii) attractive to large groups of inconsiderate, disrespectful, idiotic juvenile teenagers IV) staff should think about managing disrespectful or idiotic behaviour from groups or individuals in a rather more serious and responsible way POSITIVE POINTS: I) excellent location between Chiado, Bairro Alto, Santa Caterina and Cais Sodre. ii) impressive renovation and restoration of a magnificent Chiado town house iii) impressive kitchens and generally very nice communal areas IV) incredible roof terrace overlooking rooftops and River Tagus and lovely garden. V) excellent cleaning staff!! Vi) very friendly and helpful hostel staff, who were always chatty and gave me LOTS of good advice on where to go etc etc This could be a magnificent hostel BUT, and this is a serious issue, I object and its completely unacceptable that large groups of teenagers or school groups can take over and behaviour like little children, I.E. running around, messing around on the billard table, making loud noises outside IN A RESIDENTIAL area or just being generally very juvenile. They should get rid of the pool table as it just encourages stupidity or just general around as you might expect from 5 year olds. One situation, which I witnessed which I was shocked by - staff member was present in the lounge area as a particulary loud and stupid Italian group decided to sit on the pool table, placing their beers also on it, resulting in of course an accident in beer spilt on the billiard table. It was obvious this would happen. The staff member should have noticed this. He in fact did notice them sitting on the table, but did nothing!?! Is this normal? I mentioned the situation to a staff member the next morning BEFORE that particularly chaotic group left, BUT nobody seemed particulary concerned !!?? What should have happened is the group to be charged for a complete resurfacing of the table. Would that owner or the company that manages the hostel also not be concerned about damage to their property caused by guests?

what a place! perfect in city-center with huge roof-top-terrace for sundowner. nice staff, big living rooms! double-rooms excellent and with balcony! totally to recommend!

Wir haben für zwei Nächte dort übernachtet, aber beide Nächte konnten wir erst nach 3 Uhr nachts einschlafen, weil andere Gäste im Hotel in den gemeinschaftlichen Räumen irgendwelche Trinkspiele mit viel Bewegung veranstaltet haben. Das Personal war nicht in der Lage etwas dagegen zu tun. Die gemeinschaftlichen Räume waren genau über uns. Es war extrem laut und trotz mehrmaligen Protests hat das Personal nichts unternommen. U.a. mit der Begründung: Wenn ich die Aufenthaltsräume nun schließe, habe ich morgen 10-15 Personen, die sich darüber beschweren. - interessantes Verhalten. Der Manager am nächtlichen Telefon angerufen vom Empfang auf unser Verlangen hat ebenfalls nichts unternommen. --> never ever!!Um nur eine schöne Terrasse zu genießen brauch man kein Hotel.

Lors de vacances au Portugal nous voulions passer une nuit à Lisbonne.Nous avons voulu réserver un hôtel acceptant notre chien.Lisbonhotel correspondais à nos critéres de prix et une chambre famille été disponible.Lhôtel est très bien situé pour visiter les quartiers historique de la ville et lon trouve à ce garer facilement autour de ce dernier.Laccueil est très agréable, la déco de lhôtel est très fraîche et moderne.Deux points critique: les sanitaires et salle de bain commune à lextérieur de la chambre ainsi que le petit déjeuner suite auquel vous devrait faire votre vaisselle.Sinon lensemble est très agréable, terrasse et jardin pour ce détendre avec vu magnifique sur lestuaire.....

Super hostel! Nice beds, very clean sheets (included in price), clean shower/toilets. Internet acces on computers, very nice big and clean kitchen. I have never had such a clean and nice hostel. Breakfast included as well (I got a discount due to allergies) Also in a walk distance of the trains and buses and city centre. Highly recommended!

Over for champions league final, staff are brilliant and very helpful, location is great, cheap beer!

I love this place. I had been there a couple of times and I always feel like home. No matter what kind of trip you are making, you will love it. Location is perfect, rooms are great, social areas are amazing and personal are very helpful and lovely. I highly recommend Lisb'on Hostel!

This is the first time I stay in a hostel; Ive never thought a hostel could let me feel so pleasant and comfortable. If I visit Lisbon again, for sure Ill stay Lisbon Hostel again.

Wonderful and perfectly located hostel in Lisbon. The hostel has a terrace with an outstanding view of the town overlooking the river Tagus and the 25th of April bridge. The internal garden with light music and hammocks is the perfect spot to rest before tackling the town. The staff is also very friendly.

Dieses Hostel ist echt der Hammer! Zentrale Lage, tolle Einrichtung und super Service. Unser Zimmer war eigentlich für 6 Personen, wurde aber für uns in ein Doppelzimmer umfunktioniert. Der Blick aus dem Fenster im 3. Stock war ein Traum, direkt auf den Tejo mit der roten Brücke und und Christo Rei. Die sanitären Anlagen waren für Hostelverhältnisse auch sehr gut. Abends konnte man es sich im Gemeinschaftsraum gemütlich machen, mit TV, Billard, Kicker und Computerzeile. Es gibt sogar eine Bar, die 24h geöffnet ist. Alles in allem hat es sich echt gelohnt!

Great place to stay in Lisboa: very well located, super atmosphere and the garden and Tage views from the terrace are just brilliant! I would just have liked a bigger bathroom area for girls, as with 2 sinks for so many girls in the hostel...you can sometimes wait, and wait, and wait...! ;-)
