The breakfast is truly spectacular. And eating on the rooftop with a view makes it a nice start to the morning. I also like the chairs to sit in on the rooftop although the pool is quite small and a little awkwardly placed. I didnt like that the name of the hotel is very misleading. We assumed it was close to the beach and coming from another country had no frame of reference that the beach is not walkable. The other thing that was bothersome is that for the regular rooms youre given one key and it powers the electricity so when youre sightseeing the room gets super warm. Also in the regular rooms, no coffee maker or conditioner or body lotion but when upgraded to a suite there were two keys and many amenities. I would have no problem recommending this hotel for people who need a one night stay in Faro before heading on to their final destination or for people on business. Its clean, nice breakfast, and the staff try hard.

En el puerto deportivo de Faro. Céntrico, de fácil acceso en coche, parking gratis y seguro cercano. Vistas impresionantes de la marisma y del aterrizaje de los a aviones del aeropuerto de Faro. Aunque no por ello molesto, por la noche no se oyen. La terraza en la última planta es una maravilla, el desayuno se alarga, las cenas disfrutando de la puesta de sol son un must. Las habitaciones cómodas, limpias y según el standard de un cuatro estrellas. En fin, recomendable al 100%. El personal muy amable y profesional en cualquier caso. Estancia de cuatro días en mayo 2019.

J'y suis allé pour boire un verre en journée. La vue est vraiment sympa, avec la mer en face et les toits de la ville derrière.
On voit pas mal les avions qui viennent atterrir a l'aéroport de Faro juste en face mais on ne les entend pas trop.
Le service est vraiment quelconque et il faut courrier après les serveurs. Dommage pour un endroit de ce standing.
Les consommations sont correctes.

Chambre sapcieuse et silencieuse. Superbe vue en terrasse pour le petit déjeuner.Dommage que le parking ne soit pas inclus dans le tarif et que les avions atterrissent en salignant devant lhôtel.A refaire.

Très bel hôtel, près de la gare. Bon déjeuner chaud et froid au 4e étage avec vue sur le port. Pas de prise de courant près d’un miroir, pas très pratique pour une femme qui désire utiliser un fer à friser.

Hotel is nice and clean. The service is good. The hotel has a spacious bathroom and they also have extra pillows and blankets for you. The breakfast here is the best that I have so far comparing in Spain and Portugal. The food tastes good and so many things to choose from. I will come back again :)

The front desk personal were nice . The air conditioning could not be lowered below 18 C. The rooms were small and the bathroom was good . We had 2 drink free drinks on the roof lounge. We only spent one night.

Hôtel et lobby très froid et impersonnel. Personnel accueillant cependant.
Pas de chauffage dans la salle de bain.
Dans la chambre bouilloire mais pas de possibilité de faire du café que du thé !!!!!!
Petit déjeuner un peu basique peu de produits locaux.
Pour un 4 étoiles c'est un peu limite.
Nous avons dîner au restaurant une vue magnifique, les pats savoureux mais un petit bémol concernant le rissoto de homard...... a peine une petite voire micro pince vue le prix!!!!!!
un petit coup de gueule contre tous ces restaurants qui vous vendent de l'eau du robinet mise en bouteille par eux via une filtration. Quelle soit plate ou gazeuse si je demande de l'eau en bouteille ce n'est pas pour avoir de l'eau du robinet. Et souvent en plus on ne vous donnes pas le choix. Cette mode se répend au Portugal et je trouve ça à la limite de l'arnaque. De plus pas sur que cette eau qui est mise en bouteille ne développe pas des bactéries en restant des heures dans les bouteilles. Car les philtres neutralisent le chlore qui lui neutralise les bactéries. Merci donc de donner au client la possibilité de choisir surtout si c'est payant

Best hotel in Faro and if you can afford it opt for the premium room , not really that expensive but a bit more space. The roof top bar was amaze balls ad sitting there on sunset time is pretty spectacular to say the least. Also the breakfast is superb, loads of choice and so fresh

El hotel está regular, el desayuno nos ha gustado mucho. Pero también debo decir que el hotel no brilla por su limpieza. Lo veo regular por no decir de otra manera. Si fuera un viaje planeado no volvería hospedarme ahí. Pero el personal de la recepción y la chica de la recepción del dasayuno daría un diez (10).

Bel hotel, mais surtout excellent accueil, sourire et très bonnes explications concernant la découverte du site et de notre future chambre, personnel efficace et très discret. Merci à l'équipe, toutes personnes confondues.
P.S. Notre salle de bain qui était "vétuste" était assez petite et pas très pratique à enjamber.

My 3 sisters and i stayed from 6-9 April and all agreed that the service was exceptional from start to finish !! For what we paid the hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of the facilities but the magic was the staff who were ever attentive to our every need.
I particular the receptionists Fabio and Adrianna were AMAZING !! Fabio deserves 5 gold stars as he was actually one of the best customer service personnel i have ever come across in my 26 years of travelling !
overall i would highly recommend this hotel.....

Not sure that this hotel qualifies as 4 star. We stayed here for 2 nights in April. It's fine, but not great.
Good - location, friendly staff, clean, free upgrade
Bad - small rooms (even with the upgrade) disappointing breakfast, terrible a/c and lots of noise through the night.

Sauna/hammam à 8€/pers. en supplément... dommage.
Bruit : aucun si ce n est le ménage à partir de 10h qui nous a réveillé 1 fois et le non respect par 2 fois du panneau "ne pas déranger" mis à la porte (ou l on a toqué pour pourvoir au ménage) en gros sur 3 nuitées 3 dérangements.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit einem fantastischen Blick von der Dachterrasse über den Hafen und die Stadt! Überall nisten Störche... Das Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse war sehr lecker und vielfältig (frisches Obst im Überfluss). Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend. Wir konnten das Hotel gut als Ausgangspunkt für eine Besichtigung der netten kleinen Stadt nutzen.

Wunderschöne Aussicht von der Dachterrasse. Pool ist angenehm war. Perfekter Standort für Ausflüge an die Algarve.
Leider ist die Parkplatzsuche etwas nervenaufreibend, wenn man nicht in der Tiefgarage parken möchte.

Wunderschöne Dachterrasse mit Ausblick auf den Hafen. Pool ist geheizt, so kann man auch im März wunderbar baden.Zimmer sauber und ordentlich. Mir hat im Bad ein Schminkspiegel und Kosmtiktücher gefehlt. Frühstück war gut, hätte aber noch ein bisschen mehr Auswahl sein dürfen. Super fande ich, dass es selbstgemachten Obstsalat und frisches Obst gab. Tiefgarage geht mit kleinem Auto (hatten einen A1), aber sehr umständlich und die Säulen sind schrecklich zum Parken. 24 Std. sind 12,50 € für Hotelgäste. In der Nähe gibt es einen öffentlichen Parkplatz, ist aber schwer hier einen Platz zu finden. Untertags gar nicht möglich.Sonst war alles zu unsere vollsten Zufriedenheit.

Lovely hotel, stayed for a short break. Superior room very comfortable, good aircon with a safe, kettle and tv. Breakfast served in the roof restaurant with amazing views over the town and Ria Formosa. Very friendly staff and immaculate. Its in a great location close to old Town and 5 minutes stroll to the train station. Recommended.

The hotel has beautiful rooftop restaurant with stunning view looking to the sea and the airport.
We are here for two nights and first night we ate at the restaurant and thought the services was great and and so was the food but expensive.
2nd night we came back because we had a good dinner the night before.
We decide to eat something simple and cheap.
I ordered vegan risotto and it was delicious and decent portion.
My partner ordered a ravioli dish with pumpkin in it.
When it came out I was laughing (inside) and even asked the waiter if he got mistaken for a starter.? My partner said of course not.
I would even count how many ravioli was there on his plate
After finish eating we came back to our room, and planned to go and find McDonald’s

Not a real 4 stars.
I have done many great hotels in Algarve and this is the first time I am disappointed.
Our room was noisy and some things were broken (flush...). There were no offered water bottle on our arrival. The view of the room was on an old wall.
Otherwise the breakfast was excellent and the terrasse is great.
But not a good price quality ratio.

Lost a star because my parents room had a strong smell of rubbish...thought it was because of the open window looking onto ally but nope ...no idea what the smell was but they changed the room and it fixed it. In the room we stayed in the phone was broken because previous people who stayed in it broke it...I thought it was not going to be a problem but the hot water had a problem = I couldn't phone to complain and had to hike several times down to ask if it was working (full day no hot water ). also the cleaners are not fully aligned ...I mean some rooms had a kettle and slmeonly had the tray of tea and no kettle( parents and aunt needed a kettle ). Apart from all that the hotel is very nice and the little tourist train is right infront of the hotel and train station is 10mins away. The breakfast was incredible, 5stars for that alone. it had a large choice of items and has a stunning view...best item was fresh fruit!

Excellent location, staff, value. Extravagant breakfast buffet included. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Computer in lobby with internet available for use; staff even helped print out boarding pass. Food, shops, sights (Old Town) all well within walking distance. Room was modern and very well kept. Grey wood flooring throughout the (Premium class) room. Very happy stay. Obrigado Hotel Faro!

Habe zum Sunset die Terrasse aufgesucht. War der teuerste Kaffee mit Ausblick meiner gesamten Reise. Die Cocktails waren m.E.unverhältnismäßig teuer.Kann man machen, muss man jedoch nicht haben.

FABULOUS. Bar staff and recption staff were more than superb. Beds were so comfortable and rooms just right temperature but you could regulate it. Cleaners were polite and super efficient. Breakfast was deliteful and plentiful. Excellent location too. The roof terrace overlooks the Marina with heaters which was lovely in the evening. Best place to watch the sunset. We couldn't fault anything and would definitely return.

The best location and service! Staff was really nice from reception to housekeeping. The rooftop view of the sunset is a must! Restaurant and bar at rooftop! Breakfast is great, going from Portuguese to English food and not forgetting gluten free, dairy free and fit options. Accomodations are pretty good, I slept really well. Oh, there's also a gym and spa. I will definetely go back!

Nice business hotel with pool, gym and rooftop restaurant. Conveniently located near the Faro marina and the touristic area, close to many bars and pubs. The rooms were nice and comfortable, although they could have been cleaner. The breakfast was varied and had many different Portuguese and international options.

Ficaram de resolver o aquecimento do quarto até agora nada. Está mais frio do que na rua. O recepcionista simpaticamente sugeriu mais umas mantinhas. Muito mau nas desculpas! Depois de dizer que não tinha solução lá corrigiu para um vou ver o que posso fazer. Desceu... até agora nem um Oi!

Busy clean hotel. No street noise but can hear plumbing in other rooms. Comfortable sleep, good food and bar. Amazing view from roof. Complimentary breakfast serves both hot and cold food but better to get an espresso on the street!

Wir waren lediglich in der Rooftop-Bar zu Gast. Die Getränke (Cocktails und Wein) sind sehr lecker. Sie Bedienung ist ebenfalls sehr freundlich.
Leider ist der Service aber auch sehr langsam. So langsam, dass ich leider 2 Sterne Abzug geben muss. Knapp 30 Minuten Wartezeit für Getränke sind definitiv zu viel, und das trotz Nebensaison.
Vielleicht haben wir aber auch nur einen schlechten Tag erwischt. Würde jedenfalls eine zweite Chance geben.

Der Service und das Frühstücksbuffet sind hervorragend. Zum Geburtstag meiner Frau wurde vom Hotel eine Flasche Sekt ein kleines Törtchen mit Kerze und garniert mit Erdbeeren und Himbeeren in unser Zimmer gebracht. Eine sehr nette Geste.Das Essen im hoteleigenem Beach-Club war bei unserem letzten Aufenthalt von 3 Jahren nicht besonders gut. Nun gibt es dort eine neue Crew in der Küche und das Essen war dort jetzt sehr gut.Bitte weiter so!

Das Hotel haben wir aufgrund der guten Bewertungen des Frühstücks gebucht. Leider war es dann doch nicht so wie erwartet (oder unsere Erwartungen waren zu hoch gesteckt nach den ganzen Bewertungen): der Kaffee aus dem Automaten schmeckte süß und wässrig, die Müsliauswahl war sehr begrenzt und insgesamt war das Frühstück in unseren Augen nicht auf 4-Sterne-Niveau. Etwas Schadensbegrenzung bietet der Ausblick von der Dachterrasse während des Frühstücks.Ansonsten sehr schöner Pool auf der Dachterrasse, Sauberkeit in Ordnung.

Muy caro para lo q ofrece,la piscina es muy pequeña,el spa también y la habitación no está bien cuidada,en el baño la cortina de la bañera estaba descolgada y falta una cortina en el ventanon del baño ,era incomodisimo entrar de noche porque se te ve desde la calle.el parking son 12e más y nos cobraron por la habitación 170e la noche ..

I recently stayed at this hotel on my first visit to the Algarve. It had an excellent location overlooking the harbour, and near the bus station. As. I was early for check in, I was invited to relax in the rooftop terrace, with excellent viewsand helpful staff. My room (322) was very clean, well equipped, and with a comfortable bed. It was at the end of the corridor, overlooking a side street, so was very quiet. Breakfast had great variety, and was served in the Rooftop area. I booked a birdwatching boat trip, at the hotel, which included visits to 2 islands. Carlos the boatman was very informative, about the variety of local birds and other wildlife, which enhanced my enjoyment of the trip. All the hotel staff were helpful and pleasant, and I would be happy to stay there again.

entrée abrupte avec marches étroites près d'un monte charge handicapés horrible, hall d'entrée avec espaces immenses "inhabités" jonché de chaises posées ça et là, 2 petits ascenseurs complètement saturés qui desservent tout l’hôtel, couloirs impersonnels toujours avec du mobilier perdu démodé et en très mauvais état, chambres en mode chambre froide avec décoration et mobilier impersonnel niveau "étape hôtel" la soi- disante vue sur la marina avec 2 fenêtres étroites séparées par le téléviseur, bouilloire posée sans le moindre sachet de thé ou de café en poudre, la seule consolation la terrasse avec effectivement une vue superbe et un buffet de petit déjeuner généreux et varié ...
240 euros la chambre par nuit ..... au Portugal ... tout simplement scandaleux ... a éviter à tout prix et même au prix le plus bas

Primero que nada quiero decir que soy una persona que se adapta facilmente, pero en este caso me esperaba un servicio mejor, por ser un 4 estrellas, cuando me gusta algo lo señalo. Eata vez se merece un cero estrellas. El hotel en si es agradable, pero le falta mucho mantenimiento. Tuvimos que pedir que vengan a limpiar la habitación antes de poder instalarnos. El regalo sorpresa de cumpleaños para mi novio que deberia haber estado al check in en nuestra habitación tardo varias horas y me costó dos llamadas a recepción que parecian no saber nada. Hay moho en la picina. La habitación no tiene mantenimiento (zocalos despegados del muro, mármol desgastado, puertas de madera desgastada, lamparitas quemadas), por otro lado la cama es muy comoda y las cortinas son geniales, el desayuno abundante, es tipo brunch.
Para concluir, no se porque se llama Beach Club ya que en la praia faro NO TIENE SOMBRILLAS NI REPOSERAS PARA LOS HUESPEDES DEL HOTEL. Es solamente un restaurante con convención (o sea que consumis y pagas al check out). Desilusión total.
No lo recomiendo.

Hice mi reserva con 4 meses de anticipación.
AL llegar me cobraron anticipado las tres noches y me dieron una pieza de 400 euros diarios con vista a un muro descáscarado.
Cuando fui a reclamar, la recepcionista, de Moldova, que no entendía mucho español ni inglés, se limitó a decirme "hotel is fully booked" con cara de satisfacción.
Fue tal mi furia y reclamos que se acercó otra empleada con mejor trato y que me prometió solucionar mi reclamo.
Tras un telefonazo me asignó una pieza con linda vista, solo por eso le puse 2 estrellas en lugar de una.

A recepção fica no R/C onde é (era?) o centro comercial... qualquer pessoa pode aceder aos corredores internos sem qualquer controlo! Até mesmo ao Bar/Restaurante... que, por sinal, até estão muito bem situados no topo com vista para a Doca/Centro.
O parque de estacionamento é publico! Qualquer um pode usar desde que pague (o que faz por vezes o hospede ficar sem ter onde deixar o carro!)...

Sehr gut und zentral gelegen. Das Frühstück ist gut. Die Zimmer haben leider nicht genügend möglichkeiten zum aufhäng von Kleidung. (Kein Schrank) Der Flughafen ist sehr nah, Starts und Landungen sind sehr nah. Leise ist anders. Ich würde gerne nur 3 ein halb Punkte geben. Es sind aber 4 weil es sehr sauber ist. Wichtig! Ab 22:00 ist schlafen möglich.ohne Störung. Es ist sehr zentral gelegen, mitten in der Altstadt.

Für mich leider kein 4 Sterne Hotel. Das Bad hatte schon die besten Zeiten hinter sich. Bett war gut und sauber war es auch. Am Frühstücksbuffet war genügend Auswahl und die Aussicht von der Dachterasse ist auch super. Der Schock kam dann beim Bezahlen. Das Zimmer hatten wir vorab schon bezahlt. Beim checkout kamen dann noch das Parken für 12,50€ (außer in der Tiefgarage gab es weit und breit keine Möglichkeit) und 3€ Kurtaxe o.ä. dazu. Das war auf unserer Rundreise mit Abstand das teuerste und nichtmal das Beste Hotel. Solche Extrakosten hatten wir in keinem anderen Hotel. Sorry, aber wir kommen nicht wieder.

Nous sommes arrivés dans une chambre surchauffée en fin d'après-midi et impossible de régler l'AC/chauffage. Heureusement que les nuits sont encore fraiches!.

Nas visitas anteriores encontrei formigas na casa de banho mas esta última vez "dormi" com elas. Cheguei a acordar com mordididelas de formiga. Inaceitável.

Well situated in the historic part of Faro. Roof top restaurant is lovely and buffet breakfast is delicious . The front desk staff are friendly and efficient.
The advertised shuttle bus was not to the airport (rather to a shopping mall) as I had thought and had to get a taxi to the airport instead. This was the reason that I had booked this hotel and so was a little dissapointed. Otherwise great stay.

Super Location, zentraler geht glaube ich nicht. Frühstück war ganz gut, für sehr gut fande ich die Auswahl nicht groß genug und den Aufbau vom Buffet zu klein. Einziger wirklich große Nachteil ist die hellhörigkeit in den Zimmern. Wir hatten in der letzten Nacht Eltern mit Kleinkind auf dem Gang was ab 4:30 Uhr Terror gemacht hat. Wir haben selber 3 Kinder und sind kinderlieb aber die Eltern waren auch eher das Problem. Sind mit dem Kind dann auf dem Flur spazieren gegangen bis es um 6:30 Uhr heulend irgendwann eingeschlafen ist. Ansonsten sehr bequem Betten. Kleiner Spa Bereich und gut geheizter Pool auf dem Dach

The location of Hotel Faro is fantastic, with amazing views from the rooftop terrace over the marina. The sunset from up here is beautiful. An extremely good breakfast was included in the room rate and all the staff who we spoke to were very helpful - nothing was too much trouble. We look forward to staying here again.

I booked a package holiday with Jet2 who recommend this hotel for our trip, it’s 10 mins from Faro Airport. I decided to bring my husband for his big 40th. All the shops, restaurants, bus and train station are within a 5 min walk. When we arrived at the hotel for around 11am, we were told our room wasn’t ready, which we wasn’t too pleased about and were told to come back at around 2pm. Then, when we got back for 2pm, we were given a room with two single beds, I mean really? Even after all the hiccups I still give this hotel a thumbs up because they made up for everything. This is a beautiful and an amazing hotel, with lovey staff and a rooftop terrance you never want to leave, it has beautiful views of the whole city, we spent ever morning after breakfast and then after dinner. Even thou we don’t drink, we received a bottle of bubbly and dessert which was waiting for us in our room and then again for hubby’s birthday......Even thinking of coming back for the New Year.... Thank you to everyone who made this trip a memorable one, keep up the good work

I booked this hotel via an online hotel booking site.
I asked the hotel on two occasions for a quiet room, which was agreed.
The room I was given (103) had a problem where if any water of any kind was used in the rooms above, it would sound like a waterfall in my bathroom. It was impossible to get a good night's sleep.
I asked the hotel about this and received no reply, so assume that if you get a bargain priced room online, you could easily get a room like this.

One of the best hotels in Faro. From the moment we arrived the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and full of useful information regarding the area and where to eat etc. The hotel is very secure, you can only access roo. Floors via touching your card in the lift, otherwise you will go straight to the roof.
The rooftop views are amazing, overlooking the harbour and the hotel is perfectly located to watch the sunset while drinking a nice beer or a glass of wine.

Room is comfortable and clean and very up to date. Staff are helpful and friendly. It is a pity that the food in the restaurant is not so good. As I'm vegan the choice was one vegetarian dish with the cheese removed. I'm sorry to say but it was awful gloop for a risotto and the second attempt at spaghetti with vegetables was not a success either as it was covered in olive oil and there were no herbs or spices used. Would therefore not recommend the restaurant to anyone.

This is the type of hotel which makes you wondering who officially gives hotel stars..!! The 1st and bad impression was not finding a ramp to access the place, no one in the entire building. It must be almost 2 meters over the road level. I was with 2 big luggage and a 2 years old child with buggy. Taxi drivers leave you in front but nobody helps, I requested assistance at the reception the answer was "we don't have baggage service" plus the main entrance is only a revolving door after the stairs. They have a tiny open lift only for wheelchair I was told so, no really bother. It should be concerned by the hotel manager or the owner. Drinking water is not provided in your room, you have to pay for that. The 3 stars I rate this hotel is for the restaurant which has lovely food. Room and service in general is average for a 4 stars Hotel in Europe. I would only go back to the restaurant at the rooftop Ria Formosa with lovely views.

we arrived late almost midnight and very tired. The lift for the suitcase is not working and have to call the staff to help and then the staff have to call their supervisor to help.. then check in the air condition is not working and we set it almost zero degree c still not cold. Since it late so we have to open the window and the noise. Not a good experience. Check with the photo when taxi brought us to the hotel the beach club is 10 km away from the hotel while the photo is combine the beach club and hotel so with the value seems to be good one but when you know that the club is 10 km away that disappointed. I am so happy to be out of the hotel after breakfast and inform the staff that the air condition is not working. Then right out to the exit there is beggar wait for you just right out of the door. I was not expecting those at all. I definitely will not come back again and so sorry to say. And happy that it was only a over one night stay.

Clean and comfortable room with a quiet and laid back vibe. Helpful staff when needed. We had fantastic views over the port and peninsula from the rooftop restaurant every morning at breakfast time. There are plenty of shops and eateries a short stroll away, and the train station and bus/coach station are within walking distance for trips out. The hotel's shuttle bus to the beach is free (you need to book though) and took us directly there, whereas the public bus goes via the airport and stops just before the beach area.

Very clean hotel. Room was spacious and beds were comfy enough. Rooftop bar and restaurant are very nice, the food was great but was served on strange plates for some reason. Didn’t use the pool but it had a great view and was very quiet while I was here. Location is fantastic, Uber from airport was €8 and dropped off right out front at the marina. Lots of nice nearby bars.

We stayed in a standard double room (Number 226) for 4 nights while we toured parts of the the Algarve and found the hotel pretty good. The location as a base was excellent, with many bars and restaurants seconds walk away and the local transport including busses and trains to destinations in the Algarve less than 10 minutes walk away.
The room itself was spacious and tidy, with a comfortable bed although the lack of a wardrobe (Only 5 hangers on a small pole) and only 2 small drawers left us a bit confused about how to unpack our clothes. The only other downsides to the room were the air-conditioning didn't seem to work well at all, leaving the room a little stuffy and uncomfortable at night. Also, the grout in the bathroom could do with raking out and re-applying as around the shower area it seemed that black mould was building up in the heavy usage areas. Also, as a Brit I enjoy retiring to my room occasionally to make my own tea or coffee, but this was not included in the room.
Breakfast was a highlight of the hotel, with so much on offer to suit anyone's taste, so a big thumbs up for that. Also, we enjoyed a pint of Sagres and a pineapple juice on the roof one late afternoon to the tune of 11 Euros, which we found to be too steep for our liking.
Overall a good experience, but if the hotel could take on board our comments then it could be an even better one. 8 out of 10 for us!

Vistas muy buenas, se ve todo el puerto deportivo y parte de la ciudad. Hay sillones y sillas frente al puerto para después de cenar tomar algo. Servicio muy bueno, atentos y amables.
El precio respecto a la cantidad, bastante caro... Pedimos un entrante por 15€ y era ridículo, un mini rollo de aguacate, que eso no es ni equivalente a una tapa .
El rape y el mero que pedimos, súper poco.
Pagamos 80€ y tuvimos que acabar en el MC Donald de abajo porque nos quedamos igual que cuando llegamos...
Pienso que las cantidades deberían cambiarlo..

An sich ein ganz schönes Hotel, nur leider haben wir die „Abstellkammer“ bekommen. Es war um 17 Uhr noch nicht fertig gereinigt und man hatte das Gefühl, dass keiner mehr mit uns gerechnet hatte. Dann bekamen wir ein Zimmer zur Seite raus mit Blick auf das ratternde Nachbardach (ratternd wegen der ganzen Klimageräte auf dem Dach), so dass an Schlaf bei offenem Fenster nicht zu denken war. Das Zimmer roch stark nach Reinigungsmitteln, was uns echt Kopfschmerzen bereitete. Insgesamt fanden wir das Zimmer für 130€ / Nacht nicht gerechtfertigt. Die Lage ist super, die Dachterrasse super schön und das Frühstück extrem lecker. Aber das waren leider auch die einzigen Dinge, die uns gefallen haben.

Das unverschämt überteuertste Hotel aller Zeiten. Service gab es so gut wie keinen, der Wellnessbereich war ein Witz.. nicht nur dass er unbenutzbar war sondern auch noch nach Urin gestunken hat. Fürchterlich. Die Gäste waren auch eher ein Haufen blasierte Clowns.

Je déconseille. Trop cher pour les prestations. Pas de piscine mais un grand jaccuzzi sale et avec un manque deau. Les climatisations ne fonctionnent pas dans toutes les chambres, éviter le petit-déjeuner à emporter . Mauvais ...

Great hotel. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Their roof is amazing for drinks, food & pool. The only bad thing was the pool cleanliness, there were lot of long hair floating on the surface. Breakfast buffet is very clean and very well organized. Food Presentation was awesome.

Fürchterlich. Das überteuertste Hotel das ich jemals besucht habe, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier im Entferntesten nicht. Der Wellnessbereich war unbenutzbar, da die Anlagen entweder defekt waren oder derartig nach Urin gestunken haben. Zimmer war in Ordnung aber viel zu teuer, die Lunchbox für die Versäumnis des Frühstücks war derartig lieblos, dass ich lieber keine bekommen hätte.

Nous y avons séjourné pendant 1 semaine et nous avons passé une semaine parfaite avec un personnel attentif et très agréable parlant plusieurs langues ce qui est très rassurant, au bout de 3 jours nous étions comme chez nous. Des excursions disponibles un service de chambre super. Parfait nous reviendrons.

Donde está la piscina? Nos ha parecido una estafa. 195€ por una habitación con Spa incluido. El spa es minúsculo con una sauna y baño turco minúsculo.
En cuanto a la piscina... en las fotos que ponen parece que es otra cosa pero... es minúscula, está tremendamente sucia, no funcionan los chorros y además si tragas un poco de agua por un descuido, ya has cenado.
Una vergüenza que te cobren un pastón por algo que no es lo que te venden.
Por cierto, si te molesta la claridad de la mañana, no hay persianas y las cortinas no tapan absolutamente nada, a las 6 ya está la habitación como si estuvieras durmiendo al aire libre de La Luz que entra.

Meh. For the price of the hotel, a real disappointment. The hotel is neither on the beach nor close to it. Restaurant is nice. Rooms a bit small and so so. Faro itself is not worth the trip. Fabulous beach and town experience in Cascais.

Fatal desde el momento uno.
Le doy una estrella porque tengo que poner alguna si o si
(Fecha del alojamiento 11-15 de agosto 2019)
Estaba roto el aire de la habitación y nada más entrar se cayó el marco de la puerta nos mandaron a otra habitación solo durante 5h, las maletas sin poder deshacerlas y toda la tarde perdida.
Dos días estuvieron sin limpiarnos el baño, y el segundo día eran las 5 de la tarde y la habitación estaba sin hacer, un desastre.
Para colmo TIENEN PARKING aunque digan que es público y que no es de ellos , pero SI lo es ya que la sociedad que lo explota es la misma que la del hotel, lo investigamos una vez que nos ocurrió lo siguiente:
Metimos el coche durante nuestras 4 noches de estancia y el penúltimo día nos encontramos con el capó rayado y roto el limpia parabrisas y el sistema de bloqueo automático el cual lo lleva.
A pesar de tener carteles avisando de la existencia de cámaras de seguridad para la mayor seguridad dicen que NO SE HACEN RESPONSABLES y que las cámaras no sirven para nada. A su vez nos dice, que no hay ninguna cámara apuntando donde estaba nuestro vehículo, bajamos a comprobarlo y si que la hay pero pasan de mirarla. Y para colmo nos hacen pagar el parking. Una auténtica vergüenza de hotel.
A la hora de ponerles la hoja de reclamaciones no quería firmarla, ponerle el sello del hotel, querían darme la copia que no era, en fin bochornoso el trato.
No volveré nunca y por supuesto no lo recomiendo.

Abbiamo fatto un tour della Ria Formosa in barca organizzato da questo Hotel. Molto interessante e divertente grazie all’esperienza dello skipper Carlos che illustra con passione e dettaglio la storia delle isole (Farol, Culatra, Deserta) e la fauna e flora del luogo.
Il tour inizia alle 10 e finisce alle 15:30. Ottimo il ristorante in cui viene proposto il pranzo (un po caro ma il pesce è di ottima qualità e pescato in giornata!). Non deve spaventare la durata del tour perché con le 3 tappe nelle isole è ben bilanciato. Sarebbe ancora meglio se durasse 1 oretta in più! Molto consigliato!

Francamente, me pareció un hotel muy normal para ser un cuatro estrellas. Sobre todo viniendo de un tres estrellas fenomenal de Lisboa. La localización desde luego era estupenda y el servicio muy amable.

Good hotel and a even better restaurant in the hotel. In my opinion the best in Faro. Very few good restaurants, never mind top tier restaurants such as this.
Rooms clean with good A/C. Staff all helpful. Good location. Small pool with limited space.
Only negative I can say is the poor sunbeds as your not able to change the recline.

When at breakfast someone comes with an ashtray and sitting down at table next to me I feel offended. Your staff tolerated this behaviour. You tolerate that I be put into harms way by other customers.
I decided to move to another table instead of asking this person to go somewhere else. That would have set your rooftop on fire.
Because you allow smoking throughout your property and have no policy in place nor dedicated smoking areas I cannot return and will share my observation whenever appropriate.
That you have a very strange way of running your reception tells another story. Very different to 4* hotels.

Property was in a good spot. It’s just an ok Hotel Didn’t understand when making reverse charge calls was charged nearly $100 euro. Reception staff explained it was just because we still used there phone. ??? Maybe just don’t touch the phone.

Honnêtement c'était merveilleux. Nous avons passés une très belle lune de miel. L'hôtel est très abordable, le personnel est souriant, serviable et au petit soin. Très très bon rapport qualité-prix. Le restaurant a une vue magnifique, les chambres sont confortables, la nourriture (petits déjeuners et dîners) est très bonne. Beaucoup de choses à visiter en amoureux (Boat trip de 5h+ pour un prix plus que raisonnable), salle de sport, spa & hammam très bien. Mentions spéciales à Carlos pour le Boat trip, Amine à la réception et tout le personnel qui nous a reçu. Je recommande à 200%.

This hotel needs a lot of work.
The rooms - although they have the basics, need a lot more thought (ie the showers in the room don’t have enough of a rim so when you shower there’s always going to be a bit of a flood in the bathroom). Mould was present on the ceilings in the first room we were assigned, when we reported it to the staff we were moved to another room which turned out to have a bit of an ant infestation on the second night.
Although the breakfast spread was delightful, the restaurant seems a bit overpriced for the quality of the food it’s serving at dinner.
The resorts “private beach club” is not somewhere I would want to hang out - cobwebs growing over what clearly used to be the bar area, and the seats haven’t been cleaned in ages. There was some leftover food that seemed to have just been left there for who knows how long.
Given the other reviews we were honestly expecting so much more - the staff try hard and are generally friendly and warm towards their guests but it’s clear that upper management needs to step in and fix the hard product being offered as it is well below the standards an international traveller would expect for a well earned vacation.

Rooms are ok,single beds pushes together , there is no wardrobe and rest of furniture is MFI style. Bathroom is gloomy , poor lighting and awful shower curtain in the bath, very 80s , no shampoo and a small shower gel
Noise was awful up to 3.00 am,insulation is non existent , lots of rowdy drunks
Breakfast room is really nice, however for the price of the room and breakfast would expect fresh orange juice not carton concentrate. Buffet is well laid out and well presented. As most hotels coffee is unpleasant from a self service vending type machine
Again staff were polite and helpful. Parking for the night is 12.50 €

The breakfast buffet on the roof was awesome, and the room was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our pontoon boat trip with the hotel's skipper and liked getting to meet a couple other guests. Faro is a hidden gem!

Das Hotel ist in weiten Teilen veraltet und entspricht im Komfort der Zimmer nicht einem Viersternehotel-Hotel. Unser Zimmer war klein und dadurch beengt. Ein Kleiderschrank und eine Kofferablage fehlten. Im Bad tummelten sich Silberfische.Positiv beurteilen wir das Restaurant und die Dachterrasse mit Ausblick auf den Hafen. Die Küche ist hervorragend. Weniger hervorragend war das Frühstückspäckchen am Abreisetag. Pro Person ein Apfel und zwei mit (fade schmeckendem) Käse belegte Toastscheiben, ein Stückchen Kuchen und ein Apfel (einer war bereits angefault). Dieses Hotel werden wir nicht mehr buchen,

Van zaterdag 28/04 tem dinsdag 1/05 verbleven m'n echtgenote en mezelf in dit mooi en zeer aangenaam hotel. We hebben genoten van een gastronomisch menu met klasse wijnen op het dak terras met 'n prachtig zicht op de lagunes... het ontbijt was uitgebreid en er was voldoende variatie in het aanbod. Onze huurwagen hebben we voor het hotel geparkeerd en langs de jachthaven wat goedkoper was dan in de ondergrondse parking van het hotel.. M'n vrouw was jarig op 30/04 en kreeg spontaan een fles bubbels met verse browny aangeboden als verrassing... Zeer attentvol. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam... Kortom een echte aanrader.

It was my birthday, I didn't inform them, but they picked up on it and left me a treat. They also upgraded my room which was fantastic. The needs are comfortable, staff are friendly always smiling. That is a massive plus.
Breakfast was pleasant and a wide selection was offered too.
Enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the marina as I ate breakfast.
Shame I didnt get to experience the rooftop bar.
All in all pleasant experience

Trevligt hotell med bästa läget. Takterrassen är underbar, fast poolen har varit avstängd. Frukosten är riktigt bra, men man får nöja sig med automatkaffe.
Tillmötesgående personal som hjälper till när det är något. Parkering i garaget kostar 12.50 euro per dag.

Este é certamente um dos locais que costumo recomendar aos visitantes de faro.
Um hotel com um ar muito moderno e com um serviço excelente, embora esteja localizado no coração da cidade de Faro, não o vejo muito como o típico hotel de cidade com conforto mínimo, para homens de negócios que precisam de pernoitar e ir embora.
Este Hotel não só já faz parte da historia da cidade, bem como pode mostrar parte integral dela, o seu ar sóbrio de arquitectura moderna e no entanto discreta, esconde varias historias que lá podemos vislumbrar.
Já para não falar na vista fenomenal vista para a Ria Formosa e do aeroporto de Faro, podemos também ver alguns dos edifícios históricos da cidade por outro prisma.
Do seu bar / restaurante de qualidade irrepreensível, de visita obrigatória, somos facilmente agarrados por um fascinante pôr do Sol, embalado pelo trautear das cegonhas que cuidam seus ninhos ali por perto.

Gros coup de coeur pour cet hôtel qui est parfait à tous les niveaux.
Un personnel accueillant, trilingue et accessible.
Un hôtel tout confort proposant salle de sport, sauna, hammam, une piscine a remous sur le toit.
Concernant le restaurant celui ci se trouve au 4 ème étage sur le toit entièrement en baie vitrée offrant une vue 360° sur le port de Faro. Un bar cosmopolitain est également situé au même endroit.
Prix vraiment accessibles. Géolocalisation parfaite.

Wir waren Anfangs März 2018 als Schluss einer Fahrradtour von Sagres nach Faro in diesem tollen Hotel.
Das Personal war sehr freundliche und hilfsbereit. Das herzliche Geburtstags Geschenk aus der Küche, eine Flasche Sekt mit einem kleinen Kuchen, hat uns sehr gefreut. Die Massage im Wellnessbereich war ausgezeichnet, etwas hart aber wirkungsvoll. Das Essen war hervorragend.
Einzige kleine Kritik: Der Hoteltransfer zum Flughafen war mit €18.00 etwas teuer.
Besten Dank für die schönen Tage.

La ubicación y las impresionantes vistas son el motivo para elegir este hotel.
En el restaurante la cena tiene buen nivel, amplia carta de bebidas. La habitación es muy simple pese a tener una un poco mejor que la estándar, pero no importa pues todo el tiempo lo dedicamos a visitar el Algarve.
La limpieza excelente, sin ruidos nocturnos y un más que bueno desayuno bufet.
Sin duda muy recomendable.
