Análise: The hotel is located perfectly in the centre. And it is no problem with the breakfast restaurant just 50 meters down the road. Yes, as others have written, there is a terrible smell in the room sometimes. But we realised, that after 3 minutes you don't smell it anymore. And it is not because it's dirty, as the room and bathroom is spotless. Yes, the bathroom is small, but what do you really need? We loved our stay and the staff was so friendly and helpfull. Análise: Lagos Avenida Hotel, the restaurant and the friendly staff are one of the reasons to put Portugal on my List again. Fabulous! Walkable distance to the town centre (5 min walk). Not noisy although on the main road. Overlooking the canal and the drawbridge, the promenade and even the ocean could be seen in the distance.
