They told me I had to do it a different way in order to avoid the hidden fees which is insane.. why would there ever be hidden fees? and why isn't it clear on the website? Just a simple question could not be answered on a normal tone. We asked to speak with the manager. He did some effort, had to comeback in an hour. He managed to sneak on additional roadside assistance which I did not agree to nor want, but I signed it as he explained what was on this Portuguese document so naturally I believed him. Análise: The worst rental car agency and customer service I've encountered in more than 20 years! I booked at this location that they then closed, but never bothered to tell me. That led to more than three hours wasted standing in an empty parking lot, talking to three customer service people (they disconnected me twice), and traveling to multiple locations in Lisbon. Análise: Very good car hire company. I have been ripped off before by other car hire companies adding SCDW and fuel charges once you get there Etc. Go rent didn't, I paid the price I was expecting and didn't have the usual pushy/surly employee to deal with. Go Rent were courteous, had great customer service and I can't fault them at all.
